The place is very chic, modern, elegant, and the vibe is great. After making our reservation, we received multiple emails emphasizing the importance of arriving on time and adhering to the dress code, warning that otherwise we could face a penalty or even be denied service. We made sure to arrive promptly and followed the dress code. Surprise number one: while most people did respect the dress code, there were guests wearing shorts and flip-flops. Surprise number two: despite being on time, we had to wait 45 minutes for our table, and no even a complimentary drink or any attention was offered during this long wait. Staying faithful to the Miami concept of a nightclub-restaurant, the music was loud and lively, and there was a central area designated for shows and presentations. Unfortunately, the only entertainment was a repetitive ten-minute fire-dancer performance every 45 minutes or so , which felt underwhelming given the expectation set by the atmosphere. Our server and runners were friendly, polite, and professional, but overall service needs improvement. It seemed unorganized and no proactive. We had to ask for water refills, new cocktails, fresh silverware, oil, and vinaigrette..... At times, two different servers even brought the same items twice, showing a lack of coordination and planning. On the positive side, the food was quite good. The New York steak was lean and perfectly cooked, the short ribs were excellent, and the mafaldini was hearty and delicious. The octopus, however, was on the tougher side, and we could not try the kofta skewers since they had run out. Portions were decent, and in my opinion, reasonably priced. The drinks were generally good, although some cocktails leaned too much on the syrupy side. Overall, the night was long but enjoyable, and It deserves another try in the future.
