Been going to this place for years and they have consistently delivered amazing dishes. We start our annual tradition of celebrating lunar new year with dinner at Amazing 66! In addition to good food, the staff is friendly. I recommend this place.

Your typical Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. A little bit dirty but the food makes up for it. I usually order the same stuff here: ginger scallion lobster, pork chops, seafood king soup, jumbo shrimp with walnuts

Chinese food has been ruined for the rest of my life because I don't believe it will ever be as good as this again. This was a highlight of our trip, and if I'm ever in NYC again this will be a planned stop instead of us randomly choosing a place for supper. I cannot rate Amazing 66 high enough. Eat here.

The food is great. It is authentic. In addition to the regular dishes every Chinese restaurants offer, they have some dishes very unique. If you don’t read Chinese, ask the waiters for recommendations. Don’t forget today’s soup. They prepare it the traditional way which take 3+ hours to make. And it is different every day. Don’t mind the dark color. They use the best ingredients and it is very nutritious. Don’t miss the dessert either. It is complimentary at dinner. It is so good that I ask to pay additional for take out. The restaurant owner is a philanthropist. The restaurant sometimes is filled with community event volunteers or hosts press conference during non-peak time. But they still serve other customers. I don’t mind. I think it is cool.

Amazing 66 Restaurant is a nice cozy little place on Mott Street, Chinatown, NYC that serves traditional Cantonese cuisine. It is one of the older establishments in Chinatown. The food is fresh and well made. I had a seafood meal with my mother last Friday, and it was very good. Had an order of deep fried Soft Shell Crabs, Claims with Bkack Bean Sauce and a Scallion and ginger Lobster for the meal, and all 3 dishes was very pleasantly done. The Soft Shell Crabs was crispy of the outside and moist on the inside. The Claims with Black Bean Sauce was flavored right and the claims was plump and juicy. The Scallion and Ginger Lobster was excellent. The lobster was firm and tender at the same time, the lobster just sort of melt in the mouth. The staff is attentive and professional, but they are not your otherwise happy Campers. However, pleasant enough and gets the job at hand done. 4/7/19: What a difference a week makes! Went for dinner and the food was not up to par from the last time. The quality of the food was inferior and the taste and texture was not up to par. Maybe Amazing 66 Restaurant got a new chef or the chef was asleep. I can not recommend Amazing 66 Restaurant at the moment base on my last experience.

Great food! i loved the seafood soup, steamed salmon and bokchoy the most. Although, its a small space, can get crowded if all tables fill up. I had to ask them to fill water, i wish the waiter had been a little more attentive, as we were the only table they had. But otherwise, the food was good.
