"Partners in life and in business, chef Carolina Bazán and sommelier Rosario Onetto placed an open kitchen at the center of Ambrosia, which attracts locals on a budget with its minimalist lighting, rotating menu that invites spontaneity, and Chilean natural wines. Their brand of bold yet approachable haute cuisine is clear in the langoustines sauteed in bisque or the fish tartare mixed with powerful sea squirts and topped with leche de tigre granita. The menu might also feature pasta vongole, a katsu sandwich, or Chilean abalone with a reduction of its own stock and pesto. Anything goes at this destination for fine dining at a modest price." - Bill Esparza, Hillary Eaton

"Ambrosia Bistro, a new venture by chef Carolina Bazán, is located on the busiest block in Santiago. The bistro, a spin-off from the more formal family-owned restaurant Ambrosia, has been operating efficiently despite being just two weeks old. The venue serves food from 12:30 p.m. into the early morning hours. The cuisine features dishes inspired by French techniques and Bazán's global travels, with a comfort in improvisation. The bistro's casual setting attracts a younger crowd and offers a variety of eclectic dishes." - Natasha Nyanin

A must-visit in Santiago for sure! We have gone to this place several times during our stay in Santiago, so tried quite a few dishes (the menu changes), and also repeated some of the dishes. The food is very very good and offers you to explore some interesting combinations. They were not serving alcohol yet during our stay in the city, but said that will soon have it on the menu. Save the space for coffee as it’s nice, and desserts are very delicious! (Especially with matcha) The service is super nice also. An extra compliment to Nicolas, who was our waiter on our first visit and since then always greeted us and came for a brief chat even when not serving our table. This really adds to the pleasant experience. The place gets quite busy on the weekends and holidays during the day (we mostly came for lunch)

Bold flavours and great dish presentation. This is by far the best culinary experience I had in Chile. Definitely a few levels above everything I tried. We went for the Omakase experience, letting the chef chose for us. The venue is also beautiful and the service very friendly and attentive. Book a seat by the kitchen to get a full experience!

Similar to the restaurant, visited because of the book Chef Wise. The ambience is amazing. With great view of the Andes in the background reflected on the mirroring walls. Chic concept. Good service. Food ok, better than the ambrosia restaurant but not mind blowing. The mall this restaurant is located, MUT is AWESOME though.

One of my favorite restaurants in Santiago de Chile. Every time I visit, it’s a must on my trip. The chef and owner, Carolina, is very kind, always present, and happy to give recommendations. The staff is great at explaining the ingredients and how each dish is prepared

Up on the fourth floor of Mercado Urbano Tobalaba overlooking Santiago is Ambrosia Bistro. We went there on our first night here and enjoyed it so much that we returned for our last night. The food is sophisticated, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and professional, and the ambiance is modern and elegant. It's worthy of a Michelin star even though the prices are quite reasonable for the quality. Highlights? Literally everything we ordered! For starters, there was the remarkable mussels in parmesan foam, the white gazpacho (almonds and shrimp), and the tiradito chochas... a crudo starring a shellfish found only in Chile. Our mains were just as good. The fish of the day is always superbly fresh and perfectly prepared, I would also recommend the duck magret accompanied by various tasty purees. Desserts are prepared in-house, of course, and are all excellent. Our server, Sébastien, was personable and knowledgeable and made the whole process fun. One thing to keep in mind is that none of the restaurants in MUT have a liquor license yet. That's expected by March.

We sat at the kitchen counter and had a wonderful experience! The chefs took time to talk us through the menu, servers were attentive (and spoke great English!), and the food was GREAT! Highly recommend the Chilean fish and the ravioli. They are still waiting for their alcohol license at the new location, can’t wait to see what they do with it in the future.

Located upstairs of the new mall. Burger was delicious and the pasta and the duck were good too. Their bread was phenomenal. They ran out of the spinach ravioli that they were famous for though unfortunately.
