Amelia's Bistro - Review - Jersey City - The Infatuation

"Amelia’s offers brunch every day, a $20 lobsterfest on Mondays, and a very long dinner menu of tapas like duck confit arancini, and entrees like lobster ravioli in saffron cream sauce or Peruvian skirt steak with mashed yucca and plantains. Keep it in mind for all types of last-minute dining situations, including when you’re looking for vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free options. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Delicious food and super amazing, friendly service. Great vibes inside or out but we loved taking advantage of their beautiful outside space! We loved the cocktails including the espresso martini and exploring this menu — gotta get their chicken sandwich.

We had brunch on a Sunday in February. We were a party of 15 with reservations and it seemed as though they were not prepared for us. It took over 30 minutes for us to get our drinks and then our food order was taken. The food did come out rather quickly but some of it was warm and not hot. The manager replaced our initial waiter which helped speed up the service. The restaurant was also a little crowded so it was hard for everyone to get around. The food was tasty. We had chicken and waffles, apple sausage gravy and biscuits and gaucho eggs. They also had good options for mimosas and bloody marys.

Everything was perfect. The food was beautifully presented, interesting, and delicious. I started with a mock cocktail. I wish mock cocktails tasted so good: refreshing and not sweet. A grownup drink, without the alcohol. My husband and I also shared a wine flight which was fun. We started with the baked oysters, which were excellent. Oysters were tender and the sauce was wonderful. The chickpeas at every table with bread was a nice touch: it comes with a mortar and pestle if you'd like to grind up the chickpeas to spread on the bread. My husband had a perfectly cooked sea bass and I had a unique and delicious Japanese eggplant. We shared a homemade desert. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual but still feels sophisticated and fun. It is not stuffy. The hostess was immediately friendly as was our waiter. Prices are excellent. We'll be back even though it's out of our usual neighborhood (sadly).

Google
Good food, we went as a family of 3 and had brunch. It was enjoyable both food and drinks. The dishes "Hen in the Garden" a vegetarian dish, kids pancake, apple juice, Salmon Benedict, Bloody Mary and brunch potatoes where good. The quantity was sufficient and not too much. The service was good and we where taken care of well. We got seating indoor as it was full outside.

Drove up to Jersey City to spend the day with family and Amelia’s was able to seat our party of seven right away for brunch. We found street parking and were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly staff. Clean restaurant and diverse crowd with a good mix of different races and ages. Our server Jared was very nice and attentive especially tending to a large group. Our food came out hot and all together. We enjoyed the warm cornbread muffins, Ginger Mango Chicken and Kung Pao Cauliflower appetizers, and I recommend the Shrimp & Grits. We also ordered a mimosa pitcher that all seven of us were able to share. At the conclusion of the meal the manager stopped by to ask us how our meal was which I thought was a nice touch. I would recommend Amelia’s. I’m not a foodie, but felt the service, setting and food matched the price. It’s not top shelf posh, but you’re also not paying for top shelf either (especially considering you’re right outside of NYC) and the staff and chefs really work to make it a good experience from start to finish.

Google
Good spacious place at a nice location. Got a quinoa burger, it had a good simple taste, The quantity is good for two if not too hungry. (It comes with a toast but we took it with a brioche bun instead) The servers were a bit inattentive, an average stop overall.

Google
Having brunch at Amelia's was a very pleasant experience - the outdoor structure is very beautifully done. The food was great and the staff was very hospitable. The Benedict was excellent (crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside), the pancakes were sumptuous, the spinach and tomato omelette was good (the veggies weren't mixed with the egg batter, so were lightly cooked). Would highly recommend if you're in the area!

Google
Great experience. Good was above expectations! Fun way to serve the complimentary hummus in a 'mortar and pestle' type serving dish. The sort rib lollipops were incredible. Meat was so tender and flavorful! The mango sauced chicken tenders (can't remember the actual name) were delicious. Waiter was nice and person refilling our water glasses was very polite. 100% would eat here again.

Yelp
Amelia's is your quintessential neighborhood brunch spot. I wont' say the food is the best in town, but the cozy, homey atmosphere and familiar faces are! I wandered here with a friend early on a Saturday morning. I went ahead and made reservations online about 30 mins before coming in, but I don't think that the reservations were necessary. Upon being seated, we ordered a pitcher of mimosa. They let us choose the juice, so we went with Mango. After we were finished, the server actually topped it off with champagne again to not wait the extra leftover mango juice! So kind! I went with the Amelia's Club Omelete. The french toast and potatoes were 10/10. The omelete itself was very subpar. I requested some hot sauce and they brought over the chiptole kind. Without me even saying anything, the manager came by with the hottest sauce they had (exactly what I was looking for). I appreciated this gesture so much! Overall, such a wonderful time at brunch. It's a solid, locally owned establishment!

Yelp
We picked Amelia's for a weekend dinner. The restaurant was not very full, we got a table for four right away. Lovely exterior and interior. The menu is pretty good, lots of variety. They bring you raw hummus, that you smash and crush to make the paste. The virgin mojito was excellent drink. Food wise loved the roasted tomato flatbread. It was full of cheese, very well cooked. Loved the crispy chicken burger. They made it a mouthwatering combo with coleslaw and sauces on top of a nicely cooked giant piece of fried chicken. Ragu de funghi amd classic bistro burger were also good dishes. We had a wonderful dinner overall. Didn't have to wait long to get our food. Service was pretty nice, friendly staff.

Yelp
During the July 4th holiday, restaurants in the area were either closed or closing early, so we ended up at Amelia's Bistro. Friendly and great service, we sat outside on the sidewalk. I got the classic burger while my tablemates got the chicken entree and kobe beef sliders. Between the 2 burgers, definitely go with the regular burger. It seemed juicier and comes with more toppings and thicker cut fries. Nice residential, local feel and easy going atmosphere.

Yelp
Amelia's Bistro at 187 Warren Street, Jersey City, NJ, is truly my favorite eatery in downtown Jersey City. I love their tasty and varied brunch menu and their reasonably priced meals are all prepared to look scrumptious. I will post a few photos here of what friends Terry, Dawn and I ordered. The staff is efficient and extremely personable. Special thanks to Alexa, Stacie, Jared who was our fine server, Jon, Martin, Chris and Sydney. I bring an assortment of friends to join me and every one of them loves Amelia's food and hospitable staff.

Yelp
Great burgers. Very juicy and tender. Fries are good too. Some vegetarian options. Lots tables. Big space. Very friendly staff.

Yelp
I live nearby and decided to give this place a try. Honestly, for a casual dinner, I really enjoyed it! We had a large table behind us who were a little loud/obnoxious but that was no fault to the restaurant. You get bread and hummus (chickpeas that you meddle yourself) and then we got an app and two entrees. Wine flight - $16 for 4 large pours! My bf and I shared this during our dinner even though we expected to try a flight and order two separate glasses. I was impressed with the size of the samples. Steak & fries - a little overcooked but very flavorful and the fries were awesome Short ribs - thoroughly enjoyed this! The side was brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes which were somehow combined into one side but I didn't dislike it Overall we enjoyed our experience and would certainly come back. To the people complaining about prices... everywhere has raised their prices, this is nothing new!! I don't think it's fair to dock a restaurant for having to increase their prices when inflation is hitting everyone nationwide.

Yelp
By far one of my best experiences of brunch I ever had. This is my third visit here and they never disappoint me. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The staff their are so friendly, attentive and accommodating. They give great selections when it comes to food and drinks. The place is always backed rain or shine. I had the Amelia's club omelet. That was so delicious and I order of side of apple chicken sausage. I enjoyed the apple chicken sausage. The mimosas and bellini are so good. If you are looking for a variety in brunch food and different flavored drink then cone here for brunch. You will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Bryanna P.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. This is my 2nd visit! My family's 3rd time...The Bellinis are $5 each! Hope they stay that way forever I have the surf and turf, but I substituted for scrambled egg whites, instead of poached eggs. I finished the whole plate. I was definitely impressed that they make customizations to their dishes unlike some other restaurants. The owner visits our table each time we come. He's too sweet. The staff's customer service is amazing. Definitely make a reservation; don't expect to seated immediately without one. It's the SPOT to be at.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, and it's great, especially their brunch. It's in a cute neighborhood where you can find free on street parking, it has a diverse menu, and the food is cooked and seasoned well, drinks are good enough. Service was a little slow last time, but we had a massive party. When we had their private room downstairs, they were very accommodating.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on sunday morning. It wasnt too busy so we were seated right away. The brunch here were very overpriced for a decent brunch. It didnt feel special enough to be this expensive. The restaurant inside was fancy with nice decoration. It took us while to order food, the waiter didnt come by until we had to tell them we want to order. And when we did finally order, the food took awhile. They asked if we wanted anything else when the food came out so we asked for hot sauce. We saw him go back but never came back until we had to ask him again. The service here wasnt that great because they werent very attentive but they have decent brunch and lot of options if you want to stop by.

Yelp
Good, adorable place for breakfast with the parents! I got the avocado toast, which was good but wish the portion could have been more for the price. Staff was friendly.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
This has become our neighborhood go to. Warm friendly service. Have liked most everything on the menu. They start with a great chickpea spread thst you crush them yourself serve on their delish warm rolls. My fave is the salmon that on the regular menu comes in a very light curry sauce (Veloute?) and served with mussels. While i like the sauce I get it on the side. Also love their mushroom salad + Flatbreads. Brunch foods really nice with warm cornbread served. Relatively low calm music. One night it was too much when i complained (nicely) they promptly changed it!

Yelp
Cant believe such a beautiful restaurant existed just beneath my apartment. Seen scores of people brunching over the summer and I wanted to check what the buzz was all about. They have a beautifully decorated outdoor seating. Contactless ordering and staff were friendly. I got the gaucho eggs, mimosa, OJ and Belgian waffle. The food took quiet some time to get delivered. They did have a lot of vegetarian options too - Gaucho eggs without sausage but I had to pay extra to replace sausage with avocado which I'm still trying to understand why. Overall the experience was good!

Yelp
The food at Amelia's was decent but nothing to go out of your way for. I took advantage of the restaurant week menu which included 3 courses for $30. I started with the mussel frites, had the short rib entree, and ended with the cookie ice cream sundae. The mussels were slightly over cooked with a bit of a rubbery texture. The fries were very undercooked and under salted. They were soggy and were in desperate need of seasoning. The short rib itself was very good. The meat was extremely tender and fell apart. The Irish style mash with Brussels sprouts was interesting. The Brussel sprouts were mushy and I wish they had a crispness to them. My wife got the crispy chicken sandwich and it wasn't one of the best we've had. She asked for no cheese and instead got no cheese and no onions. The chicken itself was very crispy but lacked seasoning. There was a tiny tiny bit of mayo which made it a dry sandwich. The fries again were soggy and had no salt on them at all. The cookie jar sundae was just not good at all. Firstly, it says Neapolitan icecream but I received chocolate. It seems that they put these together and leave them in the freezer ready to go, because the cookies were EXTREMELY hard. Usually cookie sundaes are warm and gooey, but not this one. The ambiance was ve dry much in line with your typical American restaurant. Dark wood furniture and an odd early 2000s soft rock playlist. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Yelp
Cute place for brunch. Gaucho eggs- very good Veggie eggs- hen in plate - good Steak and eggs - very good Burger- filling Bloody Mary- not worth it.

Yelp
I found it VERY hard to decide on what I wanted for brunch here because everything looked so good. I settled on the buttermilk pancakes with a side of eggs (super basic I know) but it definitely delivered. We also had a server that was patient with our indecisiveness too which I appreciated. I don't travel to Jersey City too often but when I'm back there I would definitely go again.

Yelp
Cute quaint place for brunch that was recommended to me by a friend. Came in on a Saturday around 12, it was only about 4-5 occupied tables. Post Covid...I'm loving it. Service was good, I was seated right away, staff was pleasant. Chic peas with bread was served as a table starter, I I thought that was a different touch. Mash up the chick peas to create a humus dip...very tasty but It didn't quite go with my meal. So anyway, my food was just okayyy. I like it because of the location, friendly staff and this new found mash up your own chick peas options lol. I would try something else like the braised ribs.
google avatar

Marisa S.

Yelp
The food was great. Portions reasonable and various VEGAN choices. Seasoned well and enjoyable. The eggplant was very well prepared and the quinoa salad was a great complementary dish. Service was prompt and friendly. Many dishes could be tweaked for vegetarians/vegans

Yelp
The food at this place is mostly good and reliable. My partner and I are fans of the shrimp and grits, ginger mango glazed chicken, and brunch potatoes. The reason why I removed a star is because every other time we order shrimp and grits, the cook places two pieces of bread in the container. The negative is that it's not consistently included in every order. Seems like a tease to only add it in from time to time. We also went out to eat with a couple of friends at the Amelia's Bistro outside seating area and was waiting for more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive. If cooking the food is going to take longer than expected, at least offer customers a complementary drink or snack while they wait. The waiter didn't even deliver everyone's order at the same time so some of us ended up waiting to eat, out of kindness for friends, which caused some of our food to get cold. As a whole, the service lately seems a bit lousy. I hope it improves soon.

Yelp
Service was excellent. Lobster special was even better. Something like 25$ for 1 1/14. Overall the food here is good.

Yelp
Decided to try this spot due to a recommendation made to me. It has a pleasant curb appeal for outdoor dining, especially on the warmer months. My disappointment was the food. They have a pretty well rounded menu so if you come hungry you will have a tough decision to make. And, it appears they have more of a brunch menu which looked appetizing. Unfortunately most of the menu items ordered were just "OK". Nothing special or anything to brag about. Sangria was not what I expected and I could have made better. The Kimchi fries were good, but not great. The complimentary bread and chick pea were a unique experience, but it came after the appetizer. Maybe they forgot? Braised beef dinner was nothing to brag about. Wasn't as tender as I would expected it be. The mashed potato with fried mini potatoes concoction was unique, but cold and dry. The staff was friendly, but did not know the answer to what kind of bread rolls they gave... I noticed most of the menu had a GF options, so I thought the bread might be GF, but he did not know if they were or not. FYI: -Brunch menu could be possibly worth it. -Many Gluten Free options

Yelp
I met a few friends here for lunch after arriving to NY early in the morning. The restaurant was opened both for indoor and outdoor dining. My friends and I chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We were seated immediately and the server brought our menus. We were given bread with fresh chick peas to smash & make our own hummus. The hummus was light in flavor but I enjoyed it being served fresh. I ordered a crab cake slider and ny friends ordered a salad and the mini kobe burgers. We were able to order truffle fries on the side with our sliders. My crab cake slider was good and could be more flavorful as it was too light in flavor. The same bread was used for my slider as for the bread and hummus dip. Our server was nice but he was not attentive. The outdoor seating was very decorative surrounded by plants and flowers and there is even a floral backdrop for you to take pictures with if you like. I would return to try other food on their menu next time I am in town.

Yelp
Stopped in after a walk at the pier and had a great brunch with affordable mimosas/bellinis. The rum caramel crunch brioche French toast with bananas was delicious but the chicken and waffles was just fine. Our brunch cocktails were only $5/each which was about 1/3 of other local prices! Our service was very friendly and helpful and the outdoor patio was cute and not too loud or busy

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. The food and the service is excellent. Great options for vegetarians. Had a chance to try their wonderful Belgian waffles and the Gaucho eggs. The quantity is surplus. Definitely worth the money!!

Yelp
I've had Amelias twice now - once for takeout and again for indoor dining. Both have been excellent! During my indoor dining experience, I went during brunch on Saturday. Tables are spread apart and the restaurant adheres to covid-19 guidelines. I think you can sit outside if you'd like but I chose indoors since it was a super cold day in January. I ordered the farm house skillet which came with potatoes and my husband ordered a black bean burger. There portions were huge, definitely shareable plus we had leftovers. Also don't miss their $4 mimosas!
google avatar

Marisa M.

Yelp
Omg prices jacked up. Brunch was so affordable and now every dish is 3 to 5 dollars more expensive. Its just so disappointing to see since I went here a lot. I will not now. Its just not worth it.
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
I think the best word to describe Amelia's is simply "lovely." The menu is large and extremely diverse. Plenty of vegetarian options and dishes for carnivores alike. I recommend ordering a few different ones and sharing. The guacamole was good and fresh, loved the brussel-kale Caesar salad, and the tartare was one of my favorites. The chicken tikka masala meatballs were the weakest dish (super dry). The biggest star of dinner was the complementary bread. Omg it was delicious. Overall the food is good, service was great, and the ambience was nice as well. Love that I live a block away.
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
Okay I have to start off by saying I would give 5/5 stars for the French toast alone it was amaaaazing. The rest of the food was still good but had some room for improvement. We came for brunch and the service was very friendly and fast, but I received tomatoes in my food after asking for no tomatoes. The farm house skillet was pretty good but had random globs of cheddar that I pretty much ate around - I would get something different next time for sure. The rest of our party enjoyed their food and we all agreed we would come back again. $4 mimosas and very yummy French toast - can't beat that! If you can't find street parking there is a shady man who will let you park in a deck nearby for $10 if you're just going to brunch and it worked out for my sister.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
I always wanted to come here and well, I'm glad I did. The dishes served that evening were infused dishes. So let's start with the chicken tikka meatballs; they were meh, didn't taste any tikka, it wasn't spicy, and the pita was hard. I suggest they serve naan with this tapa. The truffle macaroni and cheese dish was doable. I'm bothered by the kimchi fries there was nothing kimchi flavored nor any kimchi in there. Maybe the glaze consisted of kimchi? There were nuts in here but they definitely weren't wasabi nuts as the menu states. The skirt steak was salty. The yucca wasn't even mashed not that it shouldn't but that's what the menu states. We wouldn't come back. If the dishes are listing the ingredients then please have them. Customer service was great though! Thank you to our server!

Yelp
Ahhhhh forgot the bartenders name - she was great!! Came during the lunch service sometime last week The food was good , just had quick sliders and fries. Would come back to try more options Love that they're open for lunch service unlike the rest of jersey

Yelp
Over the past few months, there've been a few more changes. Specials, karaoke night, fewer beers on tap, a different menu. Quality is the same. Also the same is the waiting for pickup orders. No apologies, no updating of the DoorDash or Uber Eats apps when the food is ready, so you just have to make a guess when it'll be ready. Right now, I've been waiting 25 minutes past my initial 20 minute estimate. No apologies or updates, just "it's being worked on". Mind you this is for a sandwich and and burger. Nothing complicated. But apparently it takes 50+ minutes to cook.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with my boyfriend on a Sunday. Service: Everyones really nice, they come back and ask how you are doing frequently enough and did their best to accommodate our seating where we wanted to sit. Everything came out in a timely manner, which I appreciated and they encourages us to order ASAP so that they could get us food on time, and I appreciated the honesty. Parking: Difficult, as is most of downtown JC. I'd leave a little extra time to find it before your reservation, as they are pretty strict about their reservations. We arrived about 20 mins early and they asked us to essentially take a walk and come back at our time. Drinks: I got the mimosa which was refreshing -- but it had pulp and I don't love pulp, so I would specify that you don't want pulp if you're a fellow pulp hater. My BF got the bloody mary and said that it was one of the better one that he's had. Food: We both got the breakfast burrito! What I liked was that the food was extremely fresh... like SO HOT! The burrito came with potatoes, very crispy and delicious, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, onions and peppers - I asked for some chalula on the side which really made it. The only downside was that the burrito was a little too egg-y for me-- like the insides were basically all egg it felt like and I would've preferred a better egg-bread-vegetable and sauce ratio, if that makes sense? Overall it was pretty good! I'll likely be back to try other things on the menu! The ambiance for the outside seating was adorable and themed for halloween, they seem to have heated outdoor dining too -- maybe I'll go to try something christmas related.

Yelp
Nice restaurant for dinner. There is only street parking around. Small and cozy location. Came here on two occasions, the food options are great. We had a really good wine. And for appetizers we had orange chicken, cauliflower bites, Mac and cheese and flat bread! Everything was delicious. I ordered steak for my entree but it was over cooked. Others had the churrasco and lobster Mac and cheese which they said it was good. The service is a bit slower than usual.
google avatar

Lismarie G.

Yelp
This place has such a cute vibe. It's cozy and staff are friendly. Service was a bit slow. The food is so good though. The free app is the chickpeas which you can mash to make hummus. We then had truffle Mac and cheese and it was so good and flavorful. There was a good amount of cheese too. The churrasco was also flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the brownie in the brownie sundae because it was more of cake. But the ice cream was good. I'd come again to try something different.

Kisha A.

Yelp
Ok food and horrible service. A waiter spilled curry sauce all over my white top, and no apology given.
google avatar

Jeret G.

Yelp
Amelia's is a Jersey City brunch staple. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, this restaurant has all the brunch vibes you're looking for, from a full bar to classic breakfast menu items. The service is good and the food is fresh and made to order. It was busy but no lines like the other restaurants closer to the PATH train had. Check this one out for brunch next time in the area.
google avatar

Christine Q.

Yelp
You should make reservations as they are super busy. They have $4 mimosa's so I guess that's why. We waited a while for someone to come over and then we ordered coffee and drinks and that was another wait but it's okay. He did forget the coffee. We ordered a waffle for the table to start he brought it out with all the food so not exactly what we wanted and honestly it was just okay basically a plain boring waffle. I think the burger is the way to go. The risotto Benedict , Hen in the garden and Gaucho Eggs were pretty good too. So the food is decent. Obviously brunch is worth trying. Okay now a side note, the waiters need to know not to serve a drink from the top of the glass. Totally grossed out. Please, please serve from the stem. I don't know where your hands have been and I don't need your hands all over my glass. Also the bathrooms were a mess. Enough said.

Yelp
We went here today in Jan on a snowy Friday night. There were very few people there. The service was good but the food and drinks were very bleh. We ordered mozzarella sticks which seemed under cooked. We also got the ginger mango glazed chicken and buffalo chicken flatbread. It was very average food. However, the reason for 3-stars was that they messed up my husband's drink order. He wanted to try the two whiskey based cocktails and somehow they both tasted and looked exactly the same and the waitstaff got confused when he asked for the other one from what he got the first time. They seemed very confused and no one knew what they gave him vs what the different one should look like.
google avatar

Rohit T.

Yelp
Great food and great mimosas. Highly recommend their bellinis and club omelettes. Service could have been better. Our order was quite delayed.
google avatar

Christina Z.

Yelp
We went for brunch as a group of 4. We sat by the bar. It was pretty loud. We all had some type of egg dish. Can't rave too much about the food. It was just ok. Nothing amazing but nothing terrible. The drinks on the other hand..... get the bacon Bloody Mary!! It takes a while for them to make it, but it's worth it!! So good.

Yelp
Amelia's is exactly the kind of sunny eatery you'd expect to find on a corner in Paulus Hook: cozy, friendly staff, and a vaguely modern-American menu with a nice drink list to pair. We snagged a table outdoors on a breezy Saturday night and didn't have much trouble deciding on eats: splitting an order of calamari, while I went with a chipotle chicken club sandwich (and she with a mushroom flatbread) The calamari was crisp and tender without a hint of grease, served with tomato and capers on top of arugula with a soy dipping sauce. That club sandwich was solid: grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, tomato, gouda and a chipotle mayo spread on ciabatta, served with a small salad. The flatbread was a winner as well, booming with flavour without being overpowered by truffle oil.

Yelp
Found this place while strolling around the grove street neighborhood looking for brunch options. The food was ok, we had the white quinoa burger which is a great vegetarian option and very filling too. We also tried the breakfast burrito but it felt too cheesy and less stuffed with the other ingredients.

Yelp
We had a delicious meal here. I asked if I could order a sandwich as a burger patty rather than chicken, and they were very accommodating. They were also very accommodating with switching side orders for other options. Our waiter, I believe his name was Chris, was extremely kind and attentive. We had a lovely table by the window. This is a great spot for dinner or lunch.

Yelp
Amelia's Bisyto is a go to place to eat, have drinks and have a fun time with friends to shoot the breeze. On the corner of Warren st. In downtown Jersey City. It's been a staple here for a long time. They have a wide range of food options. To please any palate. From Vegeans to meat eaters. They have something for everyone. And the food has always been delicious Everytime I have been here. They also have a good brunch on the weekends and happy hour during the week. **note the happy hour is only available at the bar** They start you off with a complimentary chickpea you get to mash in the pestle and mortar to make hummus. Which is very tasty and delicious. They also give u some warm bread and butter to start your meal. I usually order the fried cauliflower with the kung pao and buffalo sauce on the side. The batter is light and crispy. I had the crab cake sliders. They were good as well but very heavy with the bread. I also ordered the miso glazed Chilean sea bass. I usually don't order fish from restaurants but I'm glad I did it was wonderful. So moist and flavors were popping. I was a little disappointed with the sides. White rice and steamed zucchini. I wish they were dressed up a little to give the sides flavor. Because that would have made the dish pop.

Yelp
This place is really fun! I went for a friend's birthday brunch on a Saturday and they have a downstairs for larger parties. The food was really good and the service was great! They all made sure we got everything we needed and that the birthday girl had an amazing time The menu had some good options and the mimosas were flowinggggg

Yelp
The place is small inside, but has a nice atmosphere inside for breakfast. The service was very slow, despite there being almost no one there. When the food finally did come, it was just ok. No one in our group was particularly impressed with their meals, they were just average. I had the breakfast flatbread. It came topped with herbed ricotta, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. It was really dry. Definitely needed a sauce of some sort. A hot sauce or aioli of some sort would have made it much better.

Yelp
We visited the bistro for brunch before the pandemic, and enjoyed our meal. Will definitely plan to visit again and recommend others in the area.
