Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. My friend had made a reservation and emailed earlier with specific requests—a vegetarian option for herself and a tiramisu for me. From the moment we arrived, we were met with indifference. No one greeted us or seemed aware of our reservation until we insisted on speaking to someone.
When we asked if our email had been received, we were told the restaurant was closed—yet we had been given a reservation. We kept getting brushed off as if our request was unreasonable, even though it was simply to check with the kitchen if they could accommodate a vegetarian dish or offer an alternative dessert. The manager eventually returned with a rude and dismissive tone, saying “this is not an Italian restaurant” in response to our tiramisu request, which felt unnecessarily harsh and condescending.
The situation escalated to the point where I had to step in and ask the manager why he was speaking to us in such a tone. He could have simply explained things more kindly, but he didn’t. His attitude was so inappropriate that even nearby diners looked visibly shocked.
What was meant to be a special evening turned into a hurtful and uncomfortable experience. For a place my friend had enjoyed before, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was incredibly disappointing. We ended up leaving without dining, and I cannot recommend this place to others.
