I’m of two minds. The food was good but to be honest not amazing and portions very small. Certainly not worth the bill of 350 for two shared plates and the chicken roast between 4. For the chicken you got one small portion of chicken and 4 small potatoes each for a charge of 28 per person. Would mark it higher if I didn’t think it was so overcharged.

Delightful place but slightly overpriced for what you get. Main dishes are great, dessert left us a bit disappointed. Overall a pleasant experience. The sommelier is very nice.

We had a great evening in the restaurant..Food was good and service was fine. However cutlery was not sharp enough to cut the octopus. The restaurant has a nice very and unique design, pretty modern.

Lovely evening with attentive and thoughtful service and beautiful food. Order the menu dégustation, a nice bottle of wine and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the “Amen experience”.

This review is a little complicated. We didn’t have an exceptional experience at Amen - but we also should have seen it coming. We were told by some folks we met that the restaurant had been awarded Michelin accreditation and were celebrating with a tasting menu. I thought it was a meal celebrating the win for a short time. In reality it was a tourist menu that amounted to a brush-off. If one cannot experience Amen’s cuisine without spending 400 euros that is fine. I know the cost of fine dining and have happily paid it in the past. But we were served the most basic menu - ravioli, veal chop, passable dessert. There was no creativity, no exploration, and nothing that would make me think I’m dining in a Michelin starred restaurant. I’m not writing this to evoke pity. If I had been paying attention I could have walked out or ordered a la carte. When the man at the door asked where our car was and I said we had walked he turned up his nose and looked at us scornfully. It is clear this restaurant is very much about the prestige and intended for the landed gentry. And that’s perfectly ok. It’s just not what I like to enjoy. The prior week I had a dégustation menu in Lyon that excited the senses, challenged assumptions, celebrated and upended Lyonnaise cuisine, and left me emotional and ebullient. We were treated with warmth, welcome, and joy. For roughly the same price at Amen we were thrown in a corner, mostly ignored, served a bland tourist menu and given two insultingly overpriced coupes of champagne. The one special thing was the bottle of wine that was suggested for our meal. It was truly unusual and delicious and would have been great paired with a great meal.

Incredible restaurant !!! Good value for your money! Fresh surprising dishes and healthy food ! Incredible service. The staff sees everything. An empty glass will not stay long on your table. They respect the time you are their and don't try to get you out of their fast for other customers! One advice - just go !!! Also the interior gives a feeling of serenity!

Spend a good moment there, not only thanks to the company! Food was really nice and the suggested wine well paired. When you go, ask for portion sizes because we were ultimately full and had no more room for the good looking cheese platter 😅
