"This relatively new player in the brunch game made believers out of skeptics in South Florida and is doing the same to diners in Dr. Phillips. They come for AmSo’s brunch bites (doughnut holes), social shareables (Buffalo chicken fries), and substantial alci-soaking fare like Key West shrimp cakes and country-fried bone-in pork chops. A raw bar features East Coast oysters while the boisterous bar bar sees clusters of mirth-filled merrymakers fueled by frozés, bloody marys, sangrias, and $15 bottomless bubbly. Offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Faiyaz Kara

My husband took me here for a date night. The atmosphere was amazing, sat out doors on the patio which was a great choice. Music was cool played a lot of old school R&B while the video played off a projector. The food, man the FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!! Lastly our server Adeliz was so sweet and awesome! All round this is my new favorite spot!

Had an incredible time at American Social in Orlando! Our waitress, Gia, was awesome—super friendly and made sure we were taken care of all afternoon . We kicked things off with oysters and shrimp & scallop ceviche, both super fresh and full of flavor. Then we had the steak fried rice, and honestly, it was so good—so tasty and perfectly cooked. We also grabbed a couple of cocktails, and they were spot on! Everything was just perfect—food, drinks, service, vibe. Definitely a 10/10 experience. We’ll be back for sure!

I’ve been here for lunch, and the food was delicious. The staff is wonderful—always kind and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful, with a pleasant atmosphere that’s perfect for spending time with friends and family. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
All around just bravo. Our company rented one of the private rooms. Couldn’t have been a better experience. The food was just everything we wanted and more. But I must say the service was spectacular. Our bartenders Jess and Carolyn really blew it out of the park. My wife still has not stopped talking about it. We will 100% be back and recommend it to anyone we can. Great job girls!.

I had the BEST experience at American Social, thanks to Megan behind the bar! From the moment I walked in, she was so welcoming and kind—she truly made me feel right at home. Megan has such great energy and makes you feel like you’re a regular, even if it’s your first time. Let’s talk about the drink she made me—the Tequila Lavender Lychee Lemon Drop—omgggg it was absolutely incredible. Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. I came for Taco Tuesday, the shrimp taco was so yummy, super flavorful. The buffalo chicken taco? A definite must-try—so good! The mahi taco was tasty too, but the pork belly taco wasn’t really my favorite—it was a bit too fatty for my liking. Still, the variety and flavors were on point overall. Megan made the whole experience memorable. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll definitely be sitting at her bar again! 💕

Met some friends to hang out. Was a good atmosphere and lots of games on. The service was great (check 138). I tried the steak fried rice and enjoyed it. My wife’s burger was a bit salty, but otherwise good. The PBJ Old Fashioned was excellent.

Google
Very clean and refreshing atmosphere. They have multiple bar and dining areas here. We went during October so they had some tasteful Halloween decorations up. Did not have to wait long on food, ordered shrimp tacos and they were delicious. All bartender staff members were on point with making drinks quick and keeping our waters full too. Parking lot is shared by other businesses but there's plenty of parking available and there's a security camera covering the lot. Recommended for sure.

Google
Food was delicious and atmosphere was amazing. I went during happy hour and there was an abundance of ongoing specials. Server was the correct amount of attentive, not hovering or hurrying us. My first time visit here was a good one and we will be back in the future.

Yelp
We held our Christmas party at American Social for the second year in a row because food, service, and ambiance were great! Brooke was very helpful in setting up our event for 150 guests. I also have to acknowledge the bartenders, who were outstanding. We will host our next event at American Social!

Yelp
Love this place! The food is great, but beyond that, the service is so efficient and FRIENDLY. It's that type of place where you feel so at home and comfortable...that's why I keep on coming. And again, the food is excellent and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Whenever everyone asks me where to grab a bite, in a place with a cool atmosphere, and good food, I always recommend AmSo...I can confidently say "I guarantee you'll love the place"...feedback is always positive, never fails

Yelp
In general, I am a fan of the American Social franchise. However, the Orlando locale, is not my favorite of their various locales. In fact, I prefer their Ft. Lauderdale locale the best, but alas, that is neither here nor there. I came to this location for a friend's birthday brunch last weekend. It had been a while since I'd been back, so, in all honesty, I was excited to pay American Social a visit again. The space in general is nice. Nothing to brag about but they do have ample seating. My favorite area is their patio area but since it was chilly, we were seated indoors. Our waiter was amazing and super sweet. The DJ was jamming, so that was a nice touch. The food was just a okay. While it came promptly, it was just on the blander side of things. I wanted the food to have a bit more razzle and bit more dazzle. Nonetheless, it was filling. The bottomless brunch was great. It's quite hard to mess up a mimosa. So, I enjoyed that and their bottomless mimosa special was reasonable in price ($25.00 to be exact). Overall, it was an average brunch experience. I did enjoy the staff coming out with a "birthday" song, sign and shot for the birthday girl! So, that was really cute!! I will say this though, I enjoy coming on calmer days and sitting at the bar on their patio area. While their food isn't anything to brag about, they do a great job on drinks! It's a great spot for Happy Hour!! Definitely check them out if you're in the area. They are worth the try and if you're a sports enthusiast, they have AMPLE TVs all throughout the facility to keep you abreast with latest and greatest happenings. Pay them a visit one day.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch this morning. I had the brisket bennies and a Bloody Mary. The brisket was well cooked and not overly salty. I wish the English muffin wasn't soggy but overly delicious. I opted for the smashed baked potato upgrade instead of the salad. I wasn't a giant fan of the fact that there was a significant up charge for the potato. The Bloody Mary was spicy and balanced pretty well. The server was very friendly and overly helpful with water refills and checking in! I would return.

Amaia S.

Yelp
Always a great place to enjoy cocktails and appetizers with a group of people! We got the spinach dip and it is one of my personal favorites. Wish they brought more chips with it though

Yelp
My family did our first night vacation dinner here and everything was amazing. From the very beginning of the planning months ago, Brooke was extremely friendly and helpful. The night came together very well, Ashley was our bartender and server, she handled our party of 24 extremely well. The private room we had was awesome for family or cooperate events. Instead of doing pre-fixed we did a A La carte ordering style that worked excellent for our group. The planning leading up until this event and the execution was great. The food was yummy and we would definitely come back when in the area. 9

Yelp
First time coming here for brunch won't be my last. It was a really relaxed vibe and delicious food. We started with the donuts. They were filled with a delicious cream, and then served with a raspberry sauce and a peanut butter sauce. Eaten all together it was a delicious peanut butter and jelly dessert. They were super rich though so I only ate a few. My friend and I each got a benedict (the smoked salmon and the brisket) so we could share. Best decision! It was fun getting to have all the different flavors. Each one was unique and delicious in its own way, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the brisket one because that brisket was pull- apart-tender and just so full of flavor! I also loved the fact that the benedicts were served with a side salad. My own disappointment was with the unlimited mimosas. The price for them was great! But they were not good. The juice tasted very artificial, and the Prosecco they used was flat and flavorless. I did not like them at all. I'll stick with wine or a cocktail next time. Service was fantastic! Ask for Rachel. She was just a joy. All in all a really good brunch spot to have some girl time catch up with a friend.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We ended up here by chance and I am so glad we did! It was around 11pm when we arrived. The manager happened to pass the host stand and greeted/welcomed us. He was really nice and explained their concept to us: THE kitchen hours are the same as the restaurant hours - because everyone's always looking for late night food when drinking. We were sat in an intimate booth by the kitchen (and were never really interrupted by any kitchen noises and whatnot). There was a live band or loud music playing in the opposite front corner of the restaurant which was interesting and created a nice fun vibe despite it being a little late and a long day after the parks for us. There weren't a lot of tables sat maybe about six or seven around that time of night. They have a great late night menu with a lot of specials in food and beverages. Our server also told us their menu changes regularly to offer new and fun items. Our server was pretty good. He was very attentive and patient (we needed a lot of extra time to read through the many menu items). He seemed to be the closing server because when he wasn't available the rest of the staff was also so attentive and kind. We never felt rushed or like we were unwanted there despite it being close to the end of the night. They have a delicious churro espresso martini right now that is AMAZING!!! We tried their Cheeseburger Taco and their BBQ Pork Belly Taco to start. The Cheeseburger Taco was a little less exciting than the BBQ Pork Belly Taco but both were good. We also ordered the Crispy Truffleshroom Burger with a side of the mac and cheese. It was SOOOO GOOD and had so many layers of flavor! The truffle flavor is only in the limited edition truffle Bousin (I bought a lot of this during the holidays) that they use so it's not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend it if you like mushrooms! Overall, we'll be trying to make a stop here when we're in town and I would definitely recommend it!

Yelp
Had the caesar salad and added blackened mahi, fish was very fresh and salad was crisp. Music selection was very good and vibey. My bartender Madison was amazing, very attentive and kind. Highly recommend going back and will definitely visit her again!

Jasmine T.

Yelp
American Social has an enjoyable Happy Hour with an environment that is definitely eccentric when the DJ is playing. They give back with their Service industry nights and always have the sports events playing. One thing that I had this time around that I have never had before was an espresso martini with tequila. The bartender was right it was top notch and garnished with a bit of brown sugar. There is a variety of craft drinks as well as draft beers to indulge in

Yelp
American Social in Orlando exceeded every expectation for my recent visit at a bridal shower there. The back room, which was rented out for the occasion, provided the perfect ambiance for our celebration. The food was great but let's talk about the cocktails - they were the life of the party! Creative, flavorful, and expertly mixed, they truly elevated the experience. But what truly sets American Social apart is their impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the event. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly made the occasion unforgettable.

Ashlynn H.

Yelp
I went to brunch with a friend here and we had a great time! The atmosphere was fun and it was fun having the music playing in the background. The server we had was very attentive and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. I had the Country Biscuits & Gravy and it's some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The biscuits were soft and the gravy was very flavorful. I decide to have the eggs scrambled and it was a nice added piece to the meal.

Yelp
Our business party of 7 booked the American Social on a Monday evening. With the reservation, we were able to be seated right away. For appetizers, we ordered the meatballs, deviled eggs, octopus, and spinach dip. After about 30 minutes 3/4 arrived at the table. About 15 minutes later (45 total) our spinach dip arrived. As I mentioned earlier, it was a Monday evening and NOT busy so the wait was a bit unreasonable. All items were delicious. About 15 minutes later (1 hour total) our meals arrived. 6/7 were correct, so that was great. The incorrect meal was quickly resolved. Everyone enjoyed their plates. The service was subpar for a night that wasn't busy. We were hardly checked on and when requesting something such as a box or napkins, it took a couple of tries. Overall, the dishes were delicious, just not sure I'd be back due to the slow service.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
Excellent food and impeccable service. The ambiance was nice as well, you can watch sports but it's not like a sports bar. The back room is more quiet which is where we sat. We had the goat cheese croquettes and guacamole for appetizers. Drinks were good. We had the lavender martini and the pear mojito. For dinner I ordered the key west shrimp cakes. My daughter had the salmon and my husband had the fish sandwich. Would definitely go back. The menu has so many good options I'd like to try. Our server was Adel and she was superior! Very attentive and excellent personality.

Billy J.

Yelp
This is always a great place for food and drinks. It's always lively and sometimes has a live DJ. The bottomless mimosas make everything more fun and all worth it. The food is always delish and hot and fresh. Make sure you bring friends when you go!

Lana E.

Yelp
I recently went for a girls brunch and had a great meal. I had a smash burger, which I asked for it to be put in their brioche bun rather than the pretzel bun. I've ordered this in the past and had an issue with the bun being too slipper lol. The potatoes that came along with it were perfectly seasoned and crisp! The sangria was decent. The vibe is an upscale sports bar- the place was packed not only with girls out to brunch, but also guys gathered to watch the game. Service was okay. Our waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there.... Other than that, I had a blast and enjoyed the food. I have been here a couple other times in the past and all in all, meals were consistently good. I'd say brunch is where it's at.

Anum A.

Yelp
American Social is a great place to hang out with some friends, go on a date and to watch all the games It's a fun bar to go to listen to music and dance and socialize. The service was amazing , as soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated super quick. The food and drinks are also amazingggggg. One of my all time faves is the Waygu sandwich, it is about 24$ and it's so flavorful and tender. A few other things I tried are the Brussels sprout, you can order them fried or steamed, I tried the fried and they are so delicious. The ribs are also amazing as well as the truffle fries. The oysters were also very delicious and fresh. All the drinks are super yummy as well.

Kelly M.

Yelp
The chicken Milanese came out as 2 overcooked chicken tenders, we told the waitress that my friend wasn't going to eat it. She sent the entire plate back minus a couple noodles. She then brought the checks and stated the manger (who came to our table and poured some water and don't speak with us) wasn't going to take it off because she ate it and sent the server over to relay the message. Don't waste your time or money. Poor customer service for sure.

Maria R.

Yelp
Place was really nice, food was delicious and fresh. Our waitress Alex was amazing, very detailed and attentive. We will for sure be back

Talyah J.

Yelp
Had us a good lil time @ American Social. We have heard a lot about this place and the promotion with @bite30orlando gave us the nudge to get out there. The vibes were lovely, the Social Smash burger was sooo good and the drinks got us right! They have a great brunch menu and beverages are so refreshing!! Big s/o to Emma our waitress and Madison our bartender... See you again soon!!

Christina C.

Yelp
It feels like every hour is social hour when you're at American Social! A great perk to coming here is they have happy hour EVERY DAY from 4-7 so if you need a place with good food but you're on a budget, this would be a great option! When you walk in you have the feel of your typical American bar, but classed up a bit. They've got great music playing at all times so it really puts you in that party mood! My friend and I came here for an early dinner before doing some shopping to walk off the food. To start things off we had the Maui Mimosa, and the Naughty Strawberry which were so good! That Naughty Strawberry doesn't taste like alcohol so be careful! It's definitely a drink that'll sneak up on you! For food we enjoyed an appetizer of their deviled eggs (comes in 6 pieces), and I ordered the grilled mahi sandwich. The sandwich was bigger than I expected so I didn't finish it all, but it was a nice lighter option than some of the other meals I was considering! This is a great spot to come with friends for drinks and enjoy some simple yet tasty apps and entrees. So while you're in the Dr. Phillips area, definitely check out American Social!

Jessica J.

Yelp
As a first-timer, this sports bar seemed somewhat average. Don't get me wrong... There wasn't anything wrong... It's just that for some reason, I was expecting more... Customer service was fantastic! There are plenty tv's for your viewing pleasure and a very large bar. I had the Chicken Milanese. It was a crusted chicken (great texture) served with Alfredo style noodles and an Arugula salad. Everything was tasty. The hubs ordered a blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich. He felt that the menu was generally overpriced. Nothing truly knocked out socks off. We didn't feel that we would intentionally drive out of our way to return.

Kassie C.

Yelp
American social is the place to be for brunch. I only go there for brunch. I've had plenty of reservations where we sat in the booths where we sat outside or if I wanna just catch the game I will sit up at the bar they do now require you to order a full entrée before you get any type of bottomless mimosas, but they keep the mimosas flowing. The bartenders are absolutely amazing. I love all the TVs and there is a DJ on Sunday as well. I just absolutely love this place. This is my go to spot if I don't want to do anything fancy.

Sean C.

Yelp
American Social has stepped up their game and is ready to compete in the Dr Phillips restaurant market. First, know that the spot is pretty loud - they play great music (thanks to the live DJ), but it's definitely not a place to have long conversations over dinner. We made a reservation and got a table right away - the place was pretty full, so I would imagine it would be best to get a reservation so you don't wait for ages. The menu has gotten bigger since my last visit - I think it's a bit difficult to read since the sections are not aligned and are kinda random. However, after a bit of navigation, I stumbled upon a chicken bowl that was INSANELY good. My server said she gets it a few times per week and I definitely agree. The portion was great, the flavor was outrageous, and it was a solid price. I know this item will be in regular rotation for my meals.

Kermit J.

Yelp
Service is amazing. bar staff is always friendly but my favorite is how they will sometimes change up the menu. my Go to spot for a casual happy hour drink, nice dinner or a date. It's that versatile of a place

Jamie P.

Yelp
I was here for a company event in one of their private spaces. We had our own bar and buffet service. The food was brought out in courses: appetizers, main, then dessert that was brought in. The appetizers were the only food I liked. My company selected meatballs and fried goat cheese. The main course was side salad, chicken fillets, and fish. I tried the chicken and it was very dry and coated in a thick sweet sauce. I didn't try the fish but was told it was cook like the chicken. The bar staff seemed like they were having a bad night. Not very friendly and didn't want to serve a large group of people. When leaving through the main dining space, it was a slammed night with lots of people waiting for tables and standing around the main bar. Lots of other people seem to like this restaurant, so maybe I experienced an off night. We Uber'd here, so we don't know how the parking was for this plaza.

Maria P.

Yelp
If you're looking for a upbeat and casual hangout, this is the place for you. Went on a Wednesday night and the place was surprisingly packed, so make sure to have a reservation unless you plan on sitting at the bar. Starting with the food, when we went we had planned on getting the steak frites and the Wagyu fried rice, however they were out of Wagyu filets so we had to change it up. We were able to still get the Wagyu truffle melt since the steak was already cut for the sandwich, and wow was it good. Perfect amount of truffle, and the steak was so tender. Went perfectly with the caramelized onions and havarti cheese, I would highly recommend. We were there for a party so sadly we didn't have any apps or desserts, but we'll probably be back to try more. For the service, it wasn't the best. Our waitress was very nice, however she wasn't very attentive. The majority of us ran out of drinks mid way through our meal and she never came over to check on us. Some of us also needed something from the kitchen , however we never got the chance because she never stopped over. We also asked for our check and it took over 20 minutes to come, and we didn't see her on the floor the whole time. Overall, from the little that we had it was very good. We'd definitely like to come back for more, however the service just really wasn't up to par.

Yelp
After touching down in Orlando, we found ourselves starving. LIKE it's-2PM-and-we-haven't-eaten-since-6AM kind of hungry. So, when our room at our hotel wasn't ready yet, the 4 of us headed to American Social. Let's just say, it was a fun 4-star experience! STAR #1: The restaurant is easy to spot with bright signage, ample parking, a large, covered patio and sleek interior. Because it was beyond HOT outside, we opted to sit inside at a corner booth. The space was perfect for us, gave us the room to spread out and soak the place in. It definitely gave the relaxed yet trendy vibe, which I always like. STAR #2: We interacted with numerous servers and bartenders throughout our visit and everyone was as nice as can be! Cocktails were made perfectly; food came out fast and we found ourselves engaging in conversation and laughing with most of the employees! A great start to the week in the area! STAR #3: We opted for a round of drinks to start - a cucumber fizz for me - which was wildly refreshing along with standard vodka drinks and an OG coke - all hit the spot! Not wanting something super heavy, I decided on the blackened shrimp salad, which was loaded with Arugula, Avocado, Onion, Black Beans, Cotija, Almonds, Citrus Vinaigrette! Light and delicious! Others in the group opted for the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (which was perfectly fried and so so good), the traditional burger and Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. Everything came out in record time, was colorful in presentation and tasted fresh/delicious! STAR #4: With multiple deals and steals offered daily and weekly, we found the pricing to be on point, totally worth it and didn't' break the bank! When back in this area for work - I'd easily return :)

Yelp
Delicious food and good vibes! The pretzel and beer cheese starter was warm and delicious and such a generous portion. I loved how the pretzels were wrapped in a cloth to keep them warm. The smash burger was fresh and so delicious, alongside crispy seasoned fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal and our server was quick and friendly. There was a live DJ playing great music as well.

Jo D.

Yelp
I was really excited for happy hour! I recently visited the American social in Tampa, but the one in Orlando does not compare. I'm not sure if it's because it was a Sunday, but it was more intimate seating rather than having music as well as people mingling around the room. Nonetheless, once we were seated, we ordered our food and I decided to try something new and get the shrimp tacos. I'm not sure if it was because it was later in the evening, but our meals were OK. Our waitress forgot to check on us and I had to wait a long time for the check. I didn't mind because I was in good company, but there wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant. I was told that they have a DJ on some Fridays and Saturdays so I will hopefully try again and have a better experience.

Nick G.

Yelp
I am giving 3 stars but I recognize the potential for 4 or 5. We stopped in for some drinks and to watch the Cubs-Cardinals game in London. This place is SUPER LOUD....I don't know if it is always this way but it was a bit of a turn off. They were playing decent modern music but it was so loud that my AirPods even told me my hearing would be gone if I stayed longer... Seem like they have an identity crisis here. Are you a dance club, a karaoke bar, a brunch restaurant, or a sports bar???

Danielle N.

Yelp
Update: My husband And I with our baby came back to give the restaurant another shot. The manager David was amazing giving us great food suggestions and making sure our experience was amazing. We did come on a Saturday night and the music was on but we were able to speak to each other and enjoy the DJ. This time around I had the steak frites with chimichurri sauce which was very delicious and flavorful. The steak frites cave with ranch potato wedges which has great crunch and flavor. My husband had the salmon and he really enjoyed the cauliflower puree. We had several different drinks and all of them were amazing. My son had the Mac n cheese and really enjoyed his food!! We will be back for sure! We came for bite30 menu, I had the meatball sliders for appetizer. The flavor was good however the sliders in general were a little dry could have used a little bit more sauce. I do know that it is a bar and it was Friday night but they did have a DJ,the music was probably a little bit louder than I would like just because it was difficult to talk to other people at the table. For my entree I had the mushroom pasta and added a blackened chicken The chicken definitely added some good flavor however it was lacking enough sauce more oily then anything. The chocolate peanut butter cake was pretty good The cake itself was a little dry but I had a good peanut butter flavor. Our service was good, very attentive. I would come back one more time to try the food and just to see how it would be overall.

Yelp
This weekend I caught up with some friends from out of town and we decided to do lunch at American Social. This was my second visit with the first being a little over a year ago. The ambience and energy was lively with a live DJ playing late 80s/early 90s RnB intermingled with some reggaeton. It wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. I recall trying the deviled eggs the last time so I started with that and the sour cream and onion busted potatoes. The potatoes... chef's kiss. Very good. The deviled eggs... ok. The filling was definitely made before hand (as expected) and tasted as such. It needed a dash of salt, however the candied bacon on top made up for it. It was just ok overall. My entree was the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and American cheese. Very good. The American cheese took everything over top.... It was rich. In a good way. The gravy was decadent and well seasoned, and the biscuits soft but dense enough to manage the ocean of gravy. I was happy with my choice. All of this was accompanied by endless pineapple mimosas. My server was great, responsive, and had a good vibe. I'd go back more often if it wasn't so far from me, but the for the occasional treat... it's worth the trip. 4.5/5 stars.

Yelp
After a concert at Camping World Stadium wanted to get a drink and snack. American Social was open until 1:00am. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to see others had the same thought. Service, food, and drink was just what we were looking for. I will go back again.

Yelp
*Post update * This is a follow up to my original post in which the restaurant manager David, reached out inquiring for additional feedback. He invited us out to try it again and I'm so happy that I did. I took family out for dinner. We tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, tuna poke bowl, mahi tacos and a cheese pizza. The chicken sandwich was outstanding, cooked perfectly, so juicy, and the seasoning was on point! The mahi tacos were a bit well done but delicious nonetheless and the ahi tuna was fresh and tasty! We sat outside and the weather was perfect to do so. David was very professional and checked in several times on our experience. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our meal. I'm so glad we came back to American Social to give it another shot!

Yelp
Rachel our server was awesome! Very attentive, food (wings and potato wedges )were great, would be back!

Shannon T.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday Brunch. The French toast was good, but the custard at the bottom was a little too much for my liking. The wings were amazing, they also have a pickled slaw on top that goes perfectly with the sweet heat of the sauce. The oysters are always perfect!--if you know, you know ‍

Alex S.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very chill. The manager Alex was extremely attentive and my bartender Jessica was very helpful. I will be coming back!

Yelp
Brooke and the AmSo Team were so helpful in setting up an event for my team of 20 folks. The area they had set aside for us was private and luxurious for the event. Plenty of room and seating to mill around or sit with a group of folks and enjoy the yummy food and great drinks made by a great bartender. Will definitely be back again with team events. RP

Yelp
This place is wild. Strongly advise that you visit for Sunday brunch and sit in a booth where you can people watch. American Social on a Sunday morning is one big party where people go to keep the party turned up. Whether you're still a little tipsy or sober, it's one of the more delightful experiences you can have as the weekend comes to an end. The music is loud. The food is greasy and mediocre. Your server is clearly hungover. But you know that already as you cross the threshold and enter American Social. I don't even remember what I ate because my eyes were glued on one section of the restaurant that spontaneously morphed into a dancefloor. A fellow patron had his back on the floor and was clinking his heels together 5 feet from another happy group that was drowning in bottomless mimosas. It's a joyful occasion and most are oblivious. This is American Social.

Yelp
Honestly, this is like my new favorite place. The vibes are chill and trendy, and the service is attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is young and casual but with an upscale feel too. A perfect place of brunch or dinner. But let's talk about the food!!! I been here 3 times now. Twice for brunch and once for lunch. Every time I've tried something new and nothing has disappointed yet. My go-to faves are definitely the goat cheese croquettes and Wagyu steak bowl. The croquettes are crispy, flavorful, and come with a sauce that compliments them perfectly. The Wagyu bowl is a decent size and the meat is always cooked perfectly. For brunch I tried the new fruity pebbles chicken and waffles. This was an interesting combo of sweet and savory but definitely met my expectations. The drink menu is huge and they have a great selection of cocktails and craft beers. I'm more of a beer guy but I had to try the PBJ old fashioned. It was... interesting to say the least but the little pbj garnish makes it an instant classic. Prices are not cheap but reasonable when you consider the quality of the food, drinks, and service. It can get busy on the weekends but it's worth the wait. I recommend this place to all my friends who come from out of town and can't wait for my next visit.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely LOVE American Social! Our son (a teen with many opinions lol) says it's one of his favorite places to eat. We've been going there for a few years now and lately it seems like they've really hit their rhythm. The service is smooth, the food has been relatively fast and delicious, and the ambiance is just right. It's a great place to catch a game or just for a fun date night. Jasmine is one of our favorite servers and our son lives for the Wagyu steak fried rice. Don't miss trying the Deviled eggs as a starter, but beware -- they'll ruin all others for you! We will absolutely be back. Thanks to everyone over there for being so awesome! Five stars all the way.

Yelp
What a cute bar! Love the vibe. Food is very good. Not your usual bar fare. I recommend the Chicken BLAT and Cobb salad. We came for lunch and one waitress operated as hostess, waitress and table busser. I was skeptical but let me tell you, Paloma was amazing! She smiled and hustled and was extremely friendly & attentive. She's a keeper! You have a treasure with that one.

Yelp
Brunch is so good! Of course we got the bottomless mimosas, so worth it! We went in a Saturday and the vibe was fun and sporty. Our server was great and very attentive, checked in multiple times while we were eating. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Fantastic!!! Great food, service and atmosphere. Looking for brunch as a local or tourist, American Social is a great option. We were in town for a weekend at Universal and American Social did not disappoint. Greeted as soon as we opened the door, music was playing, a party was getting set up, the bloody Mary's were clearly already being poured...American Social was literally jumping and it was 11:00 am. We had a reservation, so we were escorted to our table once we checked in. Lout waitress was prompt and we ordered bottomless mimosas, coffee and tea to start. Next up, the oysters were fresh and came with all my favorites, horseradish and hot sauce. The avocado toast was simple and delicious. If you are looking for a fun brunch American Social is the spot, it was packed by the time we left and the DJ, yes DJ wax bumping.

Yelp
Omg one of my FAVORITE places to have brunch!! I love sitting outside on the patio - the vibes are immaculate and there's just something about getting fresh air while inhaling mimosas. The food was delicious. Very affordable; especially for the dr. Phillips area. Parking is plentiful. We were a walk up and didn't wait any more than 10 minutes to be sat. The staff could be friendlier; they seemed a little snooty but maybe they were having an off day when we visited. I would visit again and would recommend any of my friends to go!
