The 24 Best Cheap Eats In London

"This little spot is just up from Alperton station in Wembley, and is a popular sit-down rest stop for an unplanned cup of chai and a palm-sized pick-me-up. Like most fast food shops in London, it’s a bit scruffy around the edges, but unlike most, the Mumbai street food is carefully made. The buns of the vada pav are just crisp on the outside and soft enough to absorb the chutneys and fried potato after one bite. Inhale one and then look towards the pani puri, or maybe a samosa." - jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

The 20 Best Indian Restaurants In London

"This functional little Mumbai street snack spot in Wembley is the kind of in-and-out rest stop we wish were all over London. A £1.50 vada pav with a cup of warming spiced chai tea is the ideal mid-afternoon pick-me-up. But really, Amols Vada Pav is good any time of day. Dishes range from variations of vada pav, pani puri, and onion and potato bhajiyas, to chocolate samosas, paneer spring rolls, and a pizza samosa wrap. It’s a vast menu—and one that’s worth exploring." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager, sinead cranna

I am really impressed! Even though it is a restaurant that serves food inside, the prices are very similar to all the outside street food stalls in the area. Everything is very nicely presented and delicious! I am not a fan of Pav Bhaji, but here with the addition of Paneer it was simply delicious. I am shocked. Vada Pav is also one of the best I have eaten. Aloo Pakora was crispy, freshly fried. Punjabi Samosa very good. Ragda Pattice I tried for the first time but I am a fan of all chaats so I was sure I will like it. We also drank a large cup of Masala Chai. For all this we paid a little over £20! A wonderful place.

The place is not less than heaven for someone living in UK and craves for authentic Indian street food. This was our third visit and the quality and taste is maintained. The menu is very pocket friendly and you can taste many different things under £15. Everything in menu is very delicious and authentic. Vadapav is out of the world and so is the misal, pav bhaji, sabudana vada, samosa, chai, etc. service is very fast. must go place for VEGETARIANS!

Our second visit to Amols Vada Pav. The experience have been amazing. The place is well kept and clean. The street food menu is amazing and the food served is very fresh. The only thing I would say to improve is on the staff should be more interactive with the customers and just not stay behind counter. I would definitely come back again. My favorite is mix bhajya plate.

I tried Misal Pav but the main ingredient (usal/ sprouts) is missing. It’s just spicy tomato gravy with mixture. Their presentation and service is alright but highly disappointed with misal.

Favourite place to eat authentic Bombay Style street food. Vada Pav and Dabeli are our favourites 👌 and worth the 1 hour travel. Prices are fair and the staff is nice. This place is an absolute heaven for people who like authentic vegetarian Indian food! 👎 The ladies toilet needs a deep clean.

Brilliant place for good Bombay street food. Helpful and happy service and really great tasting food. Lots of choices and all vegetarian. Very suitable for vegans too. Not to forget it's super affordable. Love this place.

I travelled all the way to Wembley to try their Vada pav, and unfortunately, I left very disappointed. It was one of the less than average Vada pavs I’ve tried in London. They toasted the bread which made it very hard and difficult to chew, and the vada itself was too lemony. The chutneys were good. It’s probably be better if they didn’t toast the bread. Their chai was truly amazing and was very happy to end the meal with their fabulous chai.
