Let me say this is one of the best experiences I ever had in the restaurant: I felt so much like home there . I started the year with a great experience when I decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate my mom on one the coldest day in Jan 2024 and May I add I’m glad I trusted my gut . The lady and gentleman working there was so accepting and accommodating of me being late . Long story it was empty , clean and the food was excellent. I would encourage you to try their drinks which was strong and good ; the sauce for the bananas was amazing . I can’t wait to visit again . I felt a lot of culture and that is what we want , hidden gem Trust me if you went to just get wings on their happy hours I’m sure you will not be disappointed but even a romantic dinner would be just as successful

The food was good, the service was okay - nothing special; I was hoping more hospitality like some other Cuban places in NYC/NJ, and the music was good but I’m sure it would be better on a live entertainment night. If 20% gratuity is added to a party of 5.5 (we had 1 child) then I would expect better service. Also the wait was long considering it wasn’t that busy. Otherwise could have been 5 stars.

Randomly walked in yesterday and this place is really cool. Very nice vibe and not too overwhelming. I was craving a sandwich and when I found out they infact did have the Cuban sandwich on the menu, (my favorite sandwich), I had to get it. This was my favorite Cuban Sandwich I've ever had. Major points to them because when I've had Cuban Sandwiches from other places, something was off each time. This one was so good from the portion size to the bread texture and flavor combination. My server was Daniela and she was amazing. She was kind, sweet and really knew what she was doing. She also made some delicious classic Mojitos that were on their happy hour menu (from 12-7pm). I'm not typically in Harlem but if I am in that area again, I'm definitely going there. One thing to note though. If you're the type that typically pays for your meals using smart pay, they don't accept that yet so make sure you plan accordingly and bring classic payment methods. Overall for my first time: A

Service was spotless. Jonathan and Kathy were more than amazing! 100% recommended. Coconut mojito hit the right spot and the passionfruit juice also was pretty fresh. We tried the Paella and the Palomilla. Everything was well seasoned and the portions were huge, we still took a lot to go. Definitely coming back!!!

My husband and I had a fabulous time and delicious meals on Valentine’s date night. My husband had a skirt steak that was done perfectly medium rare and its blue cheese sauce was very tasty. I ordered a branzino that was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was very lively with two women guitarists who were awesome players and lovely voices accompanied by fantastic drummer. We were fully satisfied and decided we must come back again👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This is my go-to restaurant for mother's day and her birthday. We've been celebrating at Amor Cubano for 3 years and they never disappoint. My 88 year old mom loves the live music, usually a trio, taking my mom through music of her Puerto Rican childhood through to the present. We've always had top notched service and that touch of home, a welcoming spirit. I would also recommend Amor Cubano for a date night. Make reservations and prepare for one of Spanish Harlem's food gems. What's not to love. Extremely highly recommended

We perused both the regular and restaurant week menu. In an attempt to keep it simple we went the regular menu and ordered everything at once. Of course two champagne mojitos and empanadas to start. For entrées, we went with Arroz Con Pollo (for me) and Churrasco- grilled skirt steak (for my partner in crime). Customer service was good, food came quick and hit the spot. We enjoyed it all while listing to the live band. This was a nice ending to an eventful day. Just A Note: A tag on IG… gets you a spin of the bonus wheel. I snagged a gift card for my next visit.

Great food and service. Nice mojitos and really good paella and ropa viego. Have live music on certain nights.

This was such a nice surprise in a neighborhood that I'm not that familiar with! I was looking for more traditional Latin food and this place definitely has good Latin food PLUS a really amazing, cozy ambiance with older Latin music hits. It was like going a bit into the past, in a great neighborhood place. We tried the Arroz con Pollo and the Beef Empanadas and would definitely recommend both, but the highlight of the meal were the tostones with green salsa that they bring out for nibbling while you wait for your dishes. Also, the plantains that come with the Arroz con Pollo are the absolute best I've had in the US. They are very much like the ones I'm used to having at home - very sweet and soft in texture! I can't wait to come on a Friday or Saturday as the place has live music. I went on a Friday and the restaurant was really lively and the bar seemed like a great option to sit and have a drink as it wa early afternoon and even then the tables were starting to get pretty full.

The food was amazing I forgot to take a picture of the classic Cuban Ana's which amazing the yuca fries fries to perfection. Service was amazing and fast.ambiance there was a family there it was very relaxed with great music

Mira Ve! I hesitate to give this one up. It's a spot to arrive anytime during the night and the music is LIVE, the food is authentic Cubano mijito. Yuca relleno, tostones con carne, croquetas variadas. It's simple Cuban food with love. Staff is laid back and in inviting. My Spanish sucks and I did okay. Bring a friend and leave your pretention at the door.

The customer service here ...for years is always pleasant ..I have been coming here for over 10 years . There has been different waiters/waitresses and I've never had a bad encounter. I greatly appreciate that. The mojitos are sweet. The variety of different mojitos can keep you going and just the right amount of alcohol. Prices for drinks are between 12-15$. I have also ate dinner before a long time ago, but the other day I had chicken empanadas; in which were over stuffed with well seasoned chicken..I was actually full after eating them and cancelled my errands for the day lol..on Thursday , Fridays , and Saturdays they have live entertainment with drums. I've seen this (in the past) walking by; as well as the bartender (a lovely Aries )- as I asked ..advised me..this is definitely a staple for East Harlem..and of course this is a great date night..I was alone this time and probably their first customer ..nevertheless I enjoyed my time as well as the prices..The decor is a bit dated ...although the energy (imo) is on point -Thanj you Amor Cubano .

Amor Cubano is a nice small place with tasty food, we walked in with no reservations it was a nice calm relaxing place to sit, eat, chat and enjoy some music. It wasn't that busy about 5 couples/friends we're all seated in different areas so it wasn't packed we ordered to eat el cubano, and 2 ropa veija, 2 pina mojitos and 1 passionfruit mojitos. They put a lot of leaves in the mojitos lol just a heads up. Food was delicious the green sauce amazing everything was yummy worth it but there was literally only 5 couples or friends in the entire place and they took so long to bring out our food and they kept forgetting our sides and we kept having to remind them, but it's cool it was worth the wait definitely recommend you to go ahead and try the food for sure will not disappoint.

Really loved everything about this place. I ordered the Picadillo (photo) and it wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to, main reason for the star loss. But everything else was amazing: cocktails, churrasco steak, tostones with cilantro dip sauce, guava bread pudding, Cafe bombon!! There was also live music which was a pleasant surprise!!! And service was awesome. Will definitely be back!

They had a live band!! Right in center of east harlem this Cuban place has some great food! The portions were great and service was friendly ! The vaca frita was delicious!!! Crispy yet juicy 8/10 but the ropa vieja is a must get flavors were incredible and couldn't get enough 10/10 . The mojito was fabulous a classic drink , not too sweet just the perfect amount ! 8/10

Amor Cubano at the top of their game once again. Flawless Cuban Sandwiches, best sangria in Manhattan hands down, friendly and attentive service, and - oh yeah! - music relegated to the background, nice and unintrusive. Thanks for listening, guys! Still my go-to Cuban restaurant in NYC!!

Drinks were delicious, food too, but the real draw in this Harlem spot is the live music! I don't know if it was a house band or if they have different bands but they were great and took me back to Havana 20 years ago where I had the same impression. Great spot for a date or with friends, you'll enjoy tasty drinks & food and a great show!

Amor Cubano is a classic in the neighborhood for over ten years. I have been coming with family and friends to enjoy to classic Cuban dishes and celebrate many occasions. I have had steak dishes. Shrimp dishes and enjoyed plenty of their drinks. The service is also on point and beautiful with their traditional attire. Amor Cubano has been a gem since they have joined the neighborhood.

Food was good. The drinks were tasty and refreshing. Two of us had cuban sándwiches and one went for the pernil. We left full and happy.

My parents favorite spot to come to when they visit me in the city. Not the best spot for vegetarians per my boyfriend who did not enjoy the "flavorless" paella, but he is Indian so hard to please when it comes to packing a punch of spice. As for the meat eaters, I've gotten multiple dishes here and loved all of them except the plain chicken which was just that, plain. But the beef and pork dishes are all EXCELLENT. I especially love the green salsa for the plantain chips as well as the cubano sandwich at lunchtime. I don't like how loud the music can get though.

The food was good , as for service I went through the other night, and by mistake they threw my food away, packed up yuca ,I called them when I got home, they called me back. They sent me back a whole plate of food free charge, delivered it to my house all the way in the west side, that's what you call. Great service. Thank you so so much. That's why I always come to you when I'm on the east side...and for ambiance nice clean make you want to get dress ..

I'll say this - the food is very good and I've always been pleased with the service.... I've had the vaca frita, pareja, chicken, etc... and I love the maraquitas.. definitely worth a visit... they lose a star because of something that just doesnt sit well.. even if you are dining in they will charge you $2 if you want an extra green sauce.. for an order of a bowl of rice they will charge you $6... crazy that they would do that..

It is a Cuban establishment by food, music, patrons and the vibe. I ate vaca frita and it was sooo delicious. The service was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly and pleasant. She knew the dishes and was sincere in her recommendations. We waited around to hear the live music. Live music starts at 7:30. I waited because I wanted to hear the congas. WHO doesn't want to hear Cuban music? I went with my Book Club buddies. We were celebrating one of them birthdays. We told Amor Cubano and they surprised her with many bubbles, small bubbles which turns out to be many. It was delightful. I enjoyed my time at Amor Cubano and look forward to eating there again. I had a traditional Mojito. It was great. I highly recommend but don't sit in the front. The cold makes it uncomfortable.

Found this AMAZING place on yelp. Family and I are visiting from LA and this place has great tasting food. Kids and husband loved the sandwich de pollo, arroz con pollo, and I really enjoyed the chicken empanadas. We were surprised by the amazing live band and friendly servers. I highly recommend.

One of the best places I keep returning. Try their mojitos and you'll understand why! Add their food to those mojitos and your overall experience will be amazing!

Really poor meal serving I didn't order onions I order meat Rice and beans and onions, I could hardly see the meat Not going to look for credit, just very disappointing

The musical combo was phenomenal, food was just ok ( whole fried snapper was too dry) and the experience would have been 4 or 5 star worthy if not for the waitress clearing away my unfinished food without asking, then having a nonchalant attitude, like "Oh well!" Last I checked, the meal was not charity and for nothing to be done about 1/2 my food being tossed was ridiculous. No manager came to to our table, no offer was made to reduce the bill or comp any of our further drink orders. So that absolutely tainted the experience and would probably make my first trip there...my last. There are too many great Cuban spots throughout NYC with attentive, caring staff who can own their mistakes and make it right with the customer.

Went here on a date with my husband because I really love the live music and that churrasco! We had a great time. The food is so good (definitely try the ceviche!) the service was great as well. Our server was so attentive and friendly to us - we felt right at home. We cannot wait to go back!

Brought my whole family here for my Abuela's 90th birthday celebration (27 of us). They created an easy premade menu with an all you can drink option and family style heavy appetizers that were so good. The pork was amazing. The desserts were delicious. We were there on a Saturday night and the live music was exactly what we were looking for. My family had amazing time! Thank you all so much.

Mother's Day 2022 was good and Amor Cubano made it awesome! Reservations was easy (call to make them). They confirmed the night before. Pleasant. We had a party of 5 and being a special day, we were told every table has a 2 hour limit. No problem and plenty of time. The staff is very attentive. Your water, sangria glass runs low, they're on it to refill. Then came the band. The trio Los Gatos playing old school mambo to current salsa. Well one of the songs caught my mom of 85 years old by storm and she was off to her world. She sang, danced in her seat and was filled with such joy. That my friends is what the day was all about: mom having the time of her life and we have to thank Amor Cubano for that. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing!!! The vibes in the restaurant was awesome and the servers were so friendly and attentive. Next time I go to nay I'm def coming back.

**COVID OUTDOOR DINING REVIEW** Amor Cubano is a neighborhood favorite, and I swing by for mojitos and more whenever I am able to! After getting our nails done a few blocks away, a friend and I came by for happy hour and a bite. Due to COVID we were seated outside, but the weather was mild for an October day so we didn't mind too much. Service was wonderful, and the food was also okay. Drinks were strong (which was most important to us, haha.) Given all that is going on in the world, I am happy to see Amor Cubano surviving and continuing to serve the East Harlem community. Hopefully at the end of alll of this madness, all four local restaurants will remain standing strong!

During covid, they have heat lamps and a rainproof seating area. I came with a party of 4, lucked out and got one of their little private huts. It was super insulated so we got our own party! What a true gem in East Harlem! Ordered a little too much food, got to try everything and everyone was super happy with all the flavors. Highly recommend the Calamare and Amor Cubano Salad to start, mains and dessert we loved the Ropa Viejo, Leche Flan, Cubanos were good and they have happy hour from 5-6 pm. White Red Sangria and Original mojitos! Good times!

Nice brunch for my mom and I. They have two types of seating options, the clear houses and an open dining inclosurer. We chose the inclosure because it had heaters. Our waiters was very nice and prompt. The food was very good. I had a seafood soup, it had lobster tail, shrimp, mussels, clams, and squid and vegetables. Also came with 4 bread sticks. I recommend getting a side of rice if you need a little more substance in your soup. It was flavorful and just what I needed since it was cold. My mom had shrimps with peppers onions, olives, and rice. She enjoyed every minute of it. The shrimp where tasty and cleaned. Our lunch plus 2 drinks together came out to 81 dollars and change not including the tip we left her. I love this place and its very dear to my mom and I. Order from them and have a great time.

Recently, Amor Cubano hosted an event for my organization, and I will say that everything was wonderful. The restaurant was very accommodating with adding extra chairs and tables for our party's unexpected guests. Everyone in the group was very pleased with their food . . . and Latin American cocktails. A+ goes to the restaurant for having happy hour prices ($6 for mojitos, margaritas, and sangria) until 5 pm during the weekend. I thought the prices were very much in line with other Cuban places that I have visited in the city. Also, the portions are huge so a dinner plate has enough food for two meals. In addition to the food, the service was very exceptional. Our server, Lauri (I think) never had us longing for our mojito refills. If anything, I highly recommend that you go with the ham croquetas. For my main course, I went with the Lecho Asado, which was out of this world amazing. I would get this dish again just for the orange mojo sauce. I should have asked if the restaurant sells sauce in bottles. While this was my first time at Amor Cubano, it definitely will not be my last time. Hopefully, I'll remember to take and post pictures of the yummy food.

Family of 8 for lunch. I was a little worried because our reservation time was at the exact time of their opening. I was happy to see that upon our arrival they were ready to serve us. Mojitos were amazing (i had the coconut mojito and the guava mojito). Food was delicious (i had the AMAZING vaca frita. A must try). Service was impeccable. They even gave us complimentary champagne as well as pseudo champagne for the kids to be able to cheers with us. What an incredible place. Will definitely return.

I've been to this restaurant many times as it is a block away from my employment. I truly enjoy the wait staff as they are warm and welcoming. Today I had the arroz con pollo which translates to chicken and rice. The menu said it was shredded chicken which made me happy because I didn't feel like dealing with bones. The meal was more chunks of chicken, not really shredded chicken. That was the only flaw. Other than that the meal was delicious. It was plentiful and allowed me to bring food home for dinner.

This is a difficult review to leave because this is my second time here and I was unfortunately disappointed. Came here about 2-3 years ago the first time and loved every bit - the food, the ambiance, the drinks, the band (came on a weekend). Now came on a weekday for a birthday and was hoping it would live up to the hype but it didn't. Let's start with drinks - those did not disappoint. Their mojitos are full of flavor and well poured. For appetizers we had the empanadas and calamari. Empanadas were delicious, calamari was crispt yet very dry and lacked flavor. For meals we had an array of stuff. Paella - not good. We are huge doggy bag people and we left most of that dish behind...that's a sign. The whole snapper was very dry and there was barely any meat on it. Flavor also lacked. The Piccadillo, Ropa veija and churrasco were good - only downside was it came out slightly cold. Didn't end up getting any dessert...full and didn't want to have another dish we weren't fans of. In all, again very torn by this review. I do feel like I need to give them a third try, just not sure when.

I honestly came here on a whim on valentines night. My boyfriend and I are long distance and we couldn't go out in person, so I decided to go here alone and video chat. The video chatting wasn't feasible due to the live Cuban band which I'll say, was nice. It was somewhat dark, but that didn't really bother me. I had a tamarind mojito which was pretty good and the complimentary house made plantain chips with a green sauce (not sure what it's called. For the main course, I ordered the churrasco steak with white rice and black beans. It was so tough and didn't have a lot of flavor while the rice was a little hard and undercooked. I'd return only for drinks and those delicious plantain chips.

An absolute blast. Went with my son on a Saturday at around 8:30 and the place was rocking -- great live Cuban jazz. There were tons of birthdays including one 90th and it was really festive. Crowd skewed a bit old, I would say mostly 35+, but my son, in his early 20's, had a great time and there were other people in his age group, though like him most appeared to be with older relatives. The food was good, not great but definitely good. We would skip the seafood paella next time but the braised pork was fantastic and we both liked the yuca. Servings are very large, so be warned. Excellent caipirinhas were much appreciated! If this were in my neighborhood I would be there all the time.

I live in the neighborhood and this place is always packed and pumpin. When I went with my family on a Saturday evening they were basically booked for the night but the hostess was kind enough to squeeze us in and set up a table for our group on the side. The food took a while to arrive but the wait was absolutely worth it. I think they're known for their coconut mojito, it's killer delicious. The Churrasco steak was amazing! A huge chunk of quality meat for $27 and it was cooked to perfection, it was also paired with white rice and black beans which was great. We also order a side of tostones and maduros and those were also very delicious. This place is pricier than other restaurants in the area but the quality of food and service is worth the bucks.

Amor Cubano was one of the places that I visited during Harlem Restaurant Week which was held from 8/19/19 - 9/1/19. Before heading there, I called and received a warm greeting over the phone by a woman that confirmed the Harlem Restaurant Week Prix Fixe Dinner Special. I took that an indication that it would be a good selection and I am pleased to say that I had a fantastic dining experience. Amor Cubano is on East 111th Street and is easily accessible via the 6 train to 110th Street. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a hostess and she mentioned that she knew I was the person that called earlier-lol. The Manager Lourda (hope that I spelled it correctly) happened to be in charge of the bar which is where I was seated. There are colorfully painted walls which adds to the overall restaurant's aesthetic. Cool artwork/decor is situated in the front, along the sides near dining tables + also in the bathroom. The Harlem Restaurant Week Prix Fixe Dinner consisted of 4 Courses + either a Sangria or a Mojito Cocktail for $47 which was a great deal. I chose the following for each course : 1.) Beef Empanada, 2.) Ropa Vieja (Shredded Skirt Steak w/ Peppers + White Rice, 3.) Arroz Con Pollo (Chicken w/ Yellow Rice) and Pudin De Pan (Guava Bread Pudding). I was also provided w/ complimentary Plaintain Chip + Dip as well as beans w/ my Ropa Vieja. Boy, was I stuffed-lol. Amor Cubano's Ropa Vieja, Arroz Con Pollo and Guava Bread Pudding are amazing...the flavors, textures and overall seasoning of these dishes were wonderful. My White Wine Sangria was made well. Amor Cubano also has live music at specific times and that day the band was scheduled to start at 8pm. The band has a singer, keyboardist and bongo player. They played lovely tunes including Joe Arroyo's "Rebelion" which I enjoyed hearing live. My Guava Mojito was already delicious but taated even better as I danced in my seat to the music!

We came here one night to celebrate my girlfriend's mother's birthday. The place is pretty tight but the staff was very helpful in finding us a great table, right up front next to the live band, with plenty of space for our stroller. Parking outside at night is much easier than the daytime. Reservations are definitely suggested because they were packed this Saturday night. The food was excellent. We enjoyed their empanadas, tostones rellenos and calamari for the table. My skirt steak entrée was perfectly cooked and hubby loved his ropa vieja. Our drinks were really good and we enjoyed the music all night. At the end of our meal they brought out a birthday dessert and the band even sang happy birthday to my girlfriend's mom. This is definitely spot for a date night or even a group outing. I probably wouldn't bring the babes back here on a live music night as it was pretty loud but luckily we have headphones that protect her ears from loud noise. The management kept checking up on us, making sure we were comfortable and that the baby was doing well. I appreciated the attention and service. Amor is worth a comeback visit.

I live in east harlem and I have always loved eating at amor Cubano. Today was a rainy day so I decided to order uber eats from my favorite restaurant. I can't believe a restaurant would even serve a plate like this to anyone. I ordered my favorite vaca frita with white rice and black beans. What I received was a bowl full of greasy onions with what seemed like one scoop of beef. The plate was so greasy and disgusting that I couldn't even eat any of it. I will attach the photo of my bowl of onions. I was super upset and wanted to walk myself to the restaurant and hand them back their disgusting food.

A hidden Columbian restaurant in Spanish Harlem ! I made reservations and upon arrival I was seated promptly. The restaurant has outdoor dining with heating! It's also closed off so no cold air/wind can enter. Now to the good stuff, I ordered a relleno de papa which was hands down good. It was fried to perfection and soft in the inside. For my plato fuerte I had vaca frita with rice and beans and also a side of maduros. I have never had vaca frita shredded, but let me tell you if you haven't I strongly encourage you to order it. It was delicious and the onions gave it the touch! Of course for dessert I had flan, The flan was good but to sweet for me. Overall I suggest you come here. FYI come here on a empty stomach because your going to need to make space for these delicious plates.

This is a 3.5 review for a delivery order. The order came super fast so we were really happy about it. Food, it was ok. We had arroz con pollo, ropa vieja and empanadas. Arroz con pollo was so so, big chunks of chicken so I found it bit dry. Ropavieja was really good and empanadas too Oh, yuca fries were good but cold... Portions were huge so the price is reasonable

I came here for the happy hour and I must say eat the steak sandwich. I had a couple things off their menu but the item which stuck out was the steak sandwich. The steak was perfectly seasoned and the bread was great and with the right toppings. It also came with plantain chips. I had a coupe of different drinks but I did not think it was very good. I had the mojito and it was ok and I had the margarita and that I did not enjoy at all. I returned the margarita and the bartender gave me another mojito. This place is nice and I hear they have live music. Will I come back? Not sure but I think if you are in the area it is definitely worth a try. I also like that their menu is very vegetarian friendly which I think is very important. I also had the empanadas and they were good but I did not like the filling we had the shrimp and cheese and that to me was a little odd but she said they are the most popular. The service was good and the food was ok.

Been a minute since I've eaten here. We sat outside (seeing outside seating in the hood still baffles me lol) the service was ok. I think they were short staffed. I had the camarones al ajillo to start & palomilla as my main. Everything was delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

Ok so need to be honest. I was excited to try this place for years now. First time and honestly last. Service was great can't denied that. The food not good in my opinion. Eating Cuban food from Puerto Saguas and Versailles in south beach Miami I'm spoiled. This food was lacking flavor. Ropa vieja more pepper then meat. Cuban sandwich extremely dry. The garlic shrimp appetizer bland. We order a margarita was more triple sec then anything. When the bill came they charge the drink even though we only took a sip. Not cool...Im a foodie and flavor is everything. I know is restaurant week , but don't be weak with the foods flavors. If you want more traffic revisit your ingredients intake. Good luck

Asere que bola! Food was delicious. Much love to the host, a true cuban, a very welcoming lady. I had spoken to her over the phone to book a RVSP and she was so polite as well. There is also a live band on sight with great music. Wish I can upload a few videos so you can hear the greatness. The restaurant is a bit small and a little tight with seatings. I went with my family a party of 12 ppl for dinner. You know with a big party like that, everyone is hungry, I would have thought that at least bread & butter would be served. With three hungry children we had to place a bread order. Our waitress was not as attentive, I believe our table was her only table. She would disappear for long periods of time. Only came around to serve us water once. I had to wave her down a few times to ask about our food order. Other parties had arrived after us & were served before us. Food order were done correct but she slacked on some drink orders. She def did not deserve the tip that's already included with the bill. Once again the food was delicious. I'm Cuban and one of our home dishes is 'Ropa Vieja' this was literally the first time I've had it that I'm obsessed with it besides home. It was not oily, very tasty & the sauce was really good. I wasn't a fan of the plátano bowl that it comes in cuz it tasted like straight oil. There were a few other dishes on the table like the 'Paella' & 'Cuban skirt Steak' & 'Churrascó' & Fried Fish.. I was not a fan of the paella, the rice tasted like it was from a box & some of the clams & mussels were actually missing the meat. It was like balls on a Christmas tree. Bartender was great, she was very generous with the alcohol. She had done four Cuba Libre for me and all 4 of them were great! She was generous with the shots as well! Overall I enjoyed my evening I do want to come back cuz the food is really good, just hope the service gets better.

Went for my birthday. Drinks were A1. Food was A1. Dessert was, very very good. The whole staff was very nice and definitely went the extra mile. Would always come back and definitely recommend for everyone!!!

I ordered three tres leches here and let's just say I was left sick. They gave me tres leches with a cheese based icing which they did not disclose to me. Authentic Tres leches does not consist of custard cheese, or cheese if at all. It was horrible, inedible and disgusting. And, for that I don't trust anything else on their menu.

My wife and I had a trip to Cuba booked for last May. Unfortunately, the vacation was thwarted by the pandemic. We couldn't go to Cuba, but Amor Cubano brought the Cuba to us. We stumbled upon this gem on an early Saturday afternoon and decided to give it a try. It wasn't very busy yet so we were lucky to be seated (indoors) without a reservation. Since it was a late lunch/early dinner, we didn't order appetizers. I ordered the ropa vieja and my wife ordered the bistec empanizado. We also ordered a side of tostones to share. The ropa vieja was tasty. My black beans (moro) were a tad salty, but still good. The bistec empanizado was also appetizing. Basically, meal was delish and the presentation was attractive. My ropa vieja came out in a bowl made of strips of fried plantain. Salsa music playing in the background while the walls, adorned with among other artwork, murals of pastel colored Havana street scenes and classic cars add to the fabled Caribbean island ambience. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. I want to go back one evening when the pandemic is over and the live band is playing. Overall, we had no complaints and looking forward to going back and sampling more of their menu.
