The atmosphere here makes me feel at home. Food and music selection was impeccable. My sever Sam was amazing. She was constantly checking up on me and had a great attitude. I Will definitely let others know about this place

I was in town for work and came across this place. I saw they had a Michelin star rating, so I wanted to try. I ate there 2 nights. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. The jalapeño margarita was perfect and well priced! The salsa was fresh and flavorful and the tacos and burger 🍔 were delicious. The price was very reasonable. I would come back! Thank you!

Came on Saturday at 1130 when they opened. It's in a shopping center so the parking is very convenient. Hostess, waiters, and management are all very friendly and amazing. They make tortillas there, and you can really taste the authenticity. Ordered guacamole, tacos de papa, and tacos de abuelafor appetizer. Everything instantly became our favorite. They gave us a sample of the chilaquiles and will come back to try order them. Had the pork belly tacos and the watermelon made them so fresh and delicious. One of our families' new favorite spot. Decor is simple but reminded me of my childhood. Definitely a place to celebrate with drinks and amazing food. There are 3 single restrooms.

Good service, superb food (the freshest quacamole). A bit too loud/noisy to a point i couldnt make a proper conversation with my friends. We said “cant hear you” about 150+ times. Nonetheless, curious to visit for another meal, maybe for lunch.

First time at this place, and the atmosphere was cool. Nice Luchadora pictures, and it felt warm and inviting. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the birria tacos with the rice. Best rice I have had thus far. Super fluffy and tasty. My co-worker had the green chile chicken enchiladas. She also loved it! The chips and salsa are different. They fry the whole tortilla. I would have given 5 stars except our server came once, and that was it. He was very talkative to other co-workers of his. Not only did we have to get the attention of a different server, who, by the way, was very attentive to his table, but I even had to go to the bar to get my server. This place is a must try! Hopefully, the service from this guy gets better.

Nice food presentation. The taquitos looked nicer than what they tasted. The margaritas were good, the beans were my favorite. Server was nice and attentive. Plenty of free parking.

The food was very delicious, but pricey. The waitress was very nice, but seemed like she had a lot of tables to wait on by herself. My biggest problem is that our Margaritas we ordered, had very little alcohol in them. I am a light weight when it comes to drinking, so if I can't feel anything, especially since I hadn't eaten anything, then I know there's no alcohol in them, and we paid $15.00 for them. Also when you order dessert and they ask if you want ice cream with it, you don't expect them to tack on $4.00 for a tiny scoop. They also charge for chips and salsa, so everything really adds up.

I'm blessed with five BFF's for the past 50 years and we have celebrated each other's birthdays together for all of these years! So my bestie Jeri chose Amor Y Tacos for our outing today too celebrate her 59th birthday It was all of our first time too this restaurant and the funny thing is that it is 10 minutes from my home and I didn't even know. Well from the moment we arrived the waitress was delightfully sweet and the atmosphere was warm and friendly and casually welcoming. The waitress Kristin V., who was assigned to our table was very friendly and helpful plus had great menu suggestions which made us feel welcomed All of the food was delicious and tasty and the cocktails were even better. Then to top it off the dessert was so good Horchata Ice Cream and Churros so delicious The only issue we all had was the restaurant did not supply Chips and Salsa at this Mexican restaurant too our surprise 😮 so we had to purchase some which is not usually the case at an Mexican restaurant 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ But I'm sure I will be back with my husband since it's near my house and priced reasonably well. Thank you to Kristin for outstanding customer service she should be applauded for that extra measure of care we truly appreciated it thank you.

Yummy food Chill environment Great Ambiance Great Customer service Wait till you try the margarita flight!

First of all (and maybe most importantly), the food was great! But.... The service was not so much. The server was MIA (missing in action) most of the evening. Saw her once for our order, once in the middle of our meal, because I flagged her down, and once at the end of course, when there's money to be made. The music needs to be turned down so I don't have to yell at someone across from me, and maybe pick a style. Don't switch from something "traditional" to dance club. And lastly please, please, please, do NOT hand me a plate to give to someone else, walk your ass around the table. And clear the damn table once in a while! All that be said I would go back, but with lower expectations, but I wouldn't go out of my way. I expect more done a Michelin rated restaurant.

Margarita flight- delicious. You basically get 3 drinks for free. Take a look at the sizes. You get a classic lime marg, sandia marg made with their agua fresca, and my fav, the pineapple mango. Chile relleno burger- huge, super juicy and flavorful, shareable size. Esquite- it was the cheapest app on the menu at $7 so overpriced for corn. Still really good. This place is definitely for large groups. The portions are generous and they have many drink options. I can't wait to go back to try more.

Great service, great food, great ambiance! My server, William, was amazing! He was extremely accommodating and a good worker. William was super nice and answered all the questions I had. The food came out fast and I loved how much variety they had on their menu. This taco restaurant has quesadillas, tacos, taquitos, and other entrees to choose from. They do specialty spins on Mexican cuisine and all their dishes are really interesting. They also have a lot of different specialty cocktails such as margaritas. Love this place!

Great spot to get quality Mexican food! We always order the short rib as the protein for whatever we get. They have a 5 taco combo that comes with rice and beans, you can't go wrong with ordering all 5 of them with short rib. Their short rib burrito was also great; it's humongous and could be enough for two meals, I'd recommend getting it with half green & half red sauce. Their short rib enchiladas were also a hit, the plate comes with two and they're both pretty big. If you like crispy tacos, I wouldn't recommend ordering those for takeout as they get pretty soggy in the box, but flavor-wise they're good.

As soon as you walk in, the ambiance is awesome! Our server was Lupe and she was honestly one of the highlights of our first visit here! She recommended what to try and it didn't disappoint! My husband got the short rib burrito and I got the pork belly tacos: both were honestly amazing!! The horchata was not very good; but our server was kind enough to switch it out for a watermelon agua Fresca which exceeded my expectations! We're so happy we found a great local spot; excited to come back!

Happy Hour all day Tuesday. They have a variety of great tasting dishes and appetizers. Great atmosphere. Great service, always. Staff is friendly and very attentive. I come here for the food only. As far as their drinks go, I believe they aren't as good as they use to be. Unsure what has happened behind the bar, it's just not it anymore. Better off just ordering a beer to keep it safe. My favorite dish here is their spaghetti. It's made with a roasted hatch chili cream sauce. So delicious. This dish never disappoints me. I add their grilled shrimp to this dish. They have great quality shrimp. Always made perfectly. Appetizers I recommend: potato taquitos, chicken taquitos, ceviche, brussel sprouts, and corn. Tortilla and Fideo soup are awesome. Amor Chop salad is a great option. Chile Colorado was ok. I ordered this once. I'll never order again. It was not to my liking. I'm not a fan of the New Mexico chile sauce. Another great dish, Chipotle Agave Pork Belly. Love the sweet potato puree. The glaze is flavorful. Everything in this dish really complement each other. Mole tots are another fan favorite. Just not mine. I don't really care for their mole.

Had a few bites and drinks with the girlfriends one Saturday night before Thanksgiving. Restaurant was pretty packed. Servers were attentive and nice. Food was tasty and drinks were good. It was a cool casual spot for some Mexican food.

TLDR: Go for the happy hour and/or dine-in experience. Do not takeout. Skip the Angus New York Steak. Amor Y Tacos is solid. I have dined in for their happy hour and have gotten takeout. I highly recommend dining in. The food comes out hot and fresh. The ambiance is a great place to catch up with friends and family. And the staff are friendly. Also, Amor Y Tacos has a solid happy hour. The beer-battered fish taco is my favorite; lightly fried, airy, and crispy. This is the best fish taco I ever had. Shrimp ceviche is good and fresh. Other items like their tacos, mole tots, nachos, and taquitos are okay; flavors here could have been balanced better. The food does have similar components, and there is a redundancy in flavors. I also ordered takeout from here. I arrived a few minutes before receiving their confirmation text, and the food seemed to have been ready for some time. The beer-battered fish tacos were not that crispy; the moisture from sitting in the box made it soggy. The tostadas from the ahi poke tostadas were a bit wet too. The textures of the food were not quite at the same level as when I dined in, but overall the flavors were good. What surprised me was the Angus New York Steak that I received. I ordered medium-rare, and the steak I got was dry. Additionally, the meat quality was not great; it was older meat, and the color of the uncooked portion had a grey hue and was tough. There was also no seasoning on the steak. I did not get any of the "citrus" marinade, and the steak had no salt and pepper. The char on the steak was the only flavor. The mojo/green sauce was also bland. Additionally, the onions were not caramelized. Unfortunately, this was probably my least favorite steak I've eaten.

I came here on a Tuesday evening around dinner time and it was pretty packed! However the wait to be seated was only about 10 minutes which was great. Customer service was very attentive and friendly. It's a bit loud so it can be hard to have conversations at times. The happy hour menu has a great selection. I ordered carnitas and chicken tacos and they were great. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The carnitas had a bit of a minty taste to it but delicious. The horchata was also made well, it was sweet and refreshing.

Good Mexican Food. Authentic and flavorful. I would go again. It's a bit dark but an overall pleasant experience.

The service at Amor Y Tacos is spectacular and truly is as special as their spicy happy hour bar yet old genteel school with gusto ambiance and their freshest ingredients food! We had salmon tacos, short rib tacos, carne asada tacos, birria quesatacos with mucho frijoles y arroz, rice and beans with cheese and cilantro. The pickled onions were a nice touch to the birria with a savory consomme that was mysterious with secrets. The horchata was cool and refreshing. A tender feeling suffuses my heart for Amor Y Tacos. Of course we had to have the tacos. The servers and the waitress had smiles enough to stun the sun. Yet another happy Michelin Bib Gourmand moment.

I came here because it is super close by my house and because it's on the Michelin guide, so I knew it was a MUST try. I ordered the 3 taco plate with the tinga de pollo, carne asada, and short rib tacos and my husband ordered the mole enchiladas and we shared both dishes. Let me start off with saying that the mole enchiladas were PHENOMENAL and literally blew me away!! The mole sauce was so good and went really well with the enchiladas. I think ordering this is a must. The 3 tacos were excellent as well with my favorite being the short rib tacos; these were juicy and I loved the pickled radish on it. I asked them for the spicy hot sauce and adding this to the tacos elevated them, so if you're a spice fan like I am, be sure to ask for this. The tacos also came with a side of beans and rice which was really good as well. Overall, I'd say that they have excellent Mexican food here. The price point is fair given the quality and quantity of food given. We came on a Saturday night with a party of 8 and had to wait about an hour, which is a bit long, but understandable because of our larger party and because the place looked pretty busy. They do take reservations so I recommend that if you can! Service here is pretty good and friendly, however, because they are busy, we had to ask them for the same thing a few times and it was a little hard flagging down our waitress. The ambiance here is casual, but lively and festive; the chairs and walls are colorful, there is music playing, and there's string lights outside that also light up the inside of the store. The restaurant is located in a plaza with ample parking.

For a family with young children, we are always looking for a place that we can all enjoy, that is not your typical "kids" restaurant or chain restaurant. Enter Amor y Tacos!! We have been there 2 times and have had great experiences both times. We've had the tacos, the chile relleno hamburger , the taquitos, and the Chile Colorado. Everything was delicious! Honestly, it's hard to think of any complaints or areas they need to improve. My husband said his Chile Colorado could use some citrus, but that's just a personal preference. My toddler enjoyed the hot dog the first time we went. We were a little worried because they took hot dog off the kids menu. Thankfully he enjoyed their burger patties and ate 2!!! The service was great even though they were busy. I appreciate them accommodating our family and understanding we are on a time crunch with 2 young children. Thank you Amor y Tacos for providing such a great experience that everyone in our family can enjoy. Parents want to eat delicious food that they can enjoy with their kids. We will continue to support your restaurant as long as the food is this delicious!

Came for Dinela, I wanted a restaurant that was a michelin star and had no parking issues. It was jam packed so I sat outside. My only complaint is that I didn't receive a bread plate, had to just dip straight in! I asked for half red, half green sauce on the enchiladas. The chef did something different where the tortillas were dipped in red sauce and topped with green. I also noticed I got black beans and white rice which isn't their standard protocol bit they figured out I was vegetarian and wanted me to have a kosher experience. I thought that was so sweet. The host got me water when I was seated and my servers "how are you" was very genuine. I was perfectly fine woth my portion sizes, will be back again another day!

It was my first time at Amor y Tacos. It sounded super casual maybe one level up from a taco stand. But it turned out to be a really cute, modern, kind of trendy Mexican restaurant. It's a medium sized place that also has a somewhat private room at one end. There was a bit of a wait maybe 15-20 minutes but it was a Saturday evening and we didn't have reservations. (Not sure if they even take reservations actually.) We were seated at a table along a wall with another party next to us. The tables are kind of close together so it felt somewhat cramped. The server came fairly quickly, greeted us, and took our drink orders. My party of 4 all ordered different taco plates. I didn't taste theirs but they all seemed to enjoy it. One friend had the salmon tacos which were prepared 3 different ways. One had the birria tacos (comes with 2) which looked really good. Another had 5 taco plate (typically comes 3 option to mix and match) which he liked but did regret getting so many haha. They are good size tacos. I ordered the carnitas, Al pastor, and carne asada. They were pretty good especially the one with pineapples which might be Al pastor. The tacos are all pretty well dressed and plates come with rice and beans. So it's definitely a filling mea. I definitely like to come back and try the pork belly dishes.

So...controversial but I don't opt for Mexican too much but I love this place! Food is high quality top tier in my opinion. Drinks, food, they show the game if it's on. I was grooving to funk music. It was a good time. Friendly staff. This place had me loving Mexican and the tacos I got were bomb, I loved all my food and drinks were good. Fave was pomegranate + ginger. Good ginger flavor so you gotta like that stuff. It is pricey but for the quality it is fair pricing, great food.

Food: The food was very filling and honestly better than I was expecting! They had a taco flight that I shared with my friend and surprisingly tasted just as good taken home to eat as late night leftover! The taquitos de papa were just okay...not that they tasted bad but it's essentially just a mouth full of potatoes lol. The food came out fresh and hot so it definitely took a few minutes for it to get to the table! Service: The servers were great and attentive, 10/10 would come back!

Came to this place for birria taco but left the restaurant craving for hatch chili salmon. I ordered the birria taco and it was delicious for sure, the taco was crispy and the meat seasoned well, the birria you dip it in is not that greasy and has good flavor. I'd give it 9/10 but when I tried my wife's hatch chili salmon. I was jealous I didn't order that. The sauce on the salmon perfectly match it. The sauce also pairs perfectly with the rice. At this point, that sauce probably goes with anything it touches. It is probably the one dish everyone needs to try if you eat fish.

Great spot. Went for lunch, and ordered the ahi poke tostadas, pork belly tacos, and 3 taco plate of al pastor, carnitas, and short rib. Tostadas: Definitely a hit. I've had a lot of tostadas but these were definitely an elevated version. The wasabi crema was very tasteful and added the hit of spice that was needed. Pork belly tacos: the pork belly was amazingly crispy, almost to the point where they were like chicharron. The only unfortunate part was that while it stays really crispy for the first taco, it starts to get soggy by the 3rd one, but that is 100% my fault and not the restaurant's. I would recommend this as a sharing dish in a group, so you can eat all 3 quickly. Carnitas taco: Also very good. The carnitas somewhat reminded me of birria, had a similar seasoning flavor to it. The pickled onion adds a lot of sharpness to what would otherwise have been too heavy of a dish. For lunch, the restaurant was a bit dim but not overwhelmingly so. Also sat in the far corner so we were away from any windows. Our server came off a little blunt, but definitely not rude or cursory so we were fine with it. Definitely would come again.

Stopped in for happy hour and was impress by the quality of the food. The beef taquitos were filled with tender juicy beef and tasted great. The table also loved the nachos and ceviche. Drinks were on point and prices reasonable. Would definitely be back

This is one of my new favorite spots to eat. We traveled to Cerritos to try this restaurant which has been awarded Michelin five years in a row. Reservations and arrived a little early so the server was able to get us in sooner. We found the table and was greeted by our server. She was so awesome.( sorry I can't remember her name) and she made us feel welcomed along with recommend it some options based on my questions. The restaurant manager brought the food and welcome to us as well and also recommend it a brunch spot across the parking lot which is also owned by this restaurant. Overall, the food, ambience customer service was subpar.. We will be back again and next time we want to try the brunch.

If you ever get the chance, this place was perfect for happy hour! Their happy hour menu was delightful and had a great variety of tacos, appetizers, dishes, and of course, drinks. We went to happy hour on a Monday and it was not busy at all. We got seated right away. The decor is awesome. I love all the artwork and the start lights. It is definitely a fun environment and good place to have fun with your friends and family. We ordered carnitas tacos and the short rib tacos. The tacos were SO flavorful and juicy. They're street tacos, and the tortillas are made fresh in house. You can't just order 1! After we ate the happy hour tacos, we looked at the regular menu and ended up ordering the tour de tacos which came with 5 tacos that you can mix and match, and beans and rice. The tour de tacos had a larger variety of tacos that you can choose from. We wanted to try the other flavors so we got the Al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas. The tacos from the original menu had better, fuller toppings.. but overall our favorite tacos were still the carnitas and the short rib! We also ordered mole tots from the happy hour menu. They were my fave! The mole sauce was bomb. The radishes were a great touch. I'd come here again in a heartbeat. You can't beat the happy hour! I'm so glad we finally tried this place out!

After 2 years I finally came back, me and my coworker were looking for a happy hour spot to enjoy some food and drinks. Our server Kyle was awesome and very attentive. We enjoyed short rib tacos, carnitas tacos from the happy hour menu and also amor Mexican lager. All was DELICIOUS. We ordered ahi poke tostadas and shared a chile relleno burger. I will sincerely give everything we ate a 10/10. The food was hot, it was well seasoned, the service was wonderful. The music is not loud but enjoyable. This restaurant is located in a plaza and offers alot of parking. We will definitely be back.

came here as part of the Dine LA tour, which means i got chips & guac, an appetizer, and entree, and dessert for $25. was a great deal and also a great way to show off their menu!! i definitely will be returning. the brussels sprouts were incredible, and i was surprised because i don't think i've ever gotten brussels sprouts at a mexican restaurant before. definitely recommend checking this place out, and grab an amor margarita!

My husband's coworkers have been raving about this place and now I see why. Started with some yummy cocktails, chips & salsa. Of course, ask for their spicy stuff so you get some additional options. I got the taquito plate and my hubby got an enchilada plate. Both were fabulous. So many options looked and sounded good. We will have to go back to try additional menu items.

Awesome unique restaurant. salsa was great. Chilaquiles was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Pork belly plate was delicious, with veggies and sweet potato pure. Carnitas really good, also short ribsnwas rich with deep flavor. Very unique recipes.

Just had a quick bite at Amor Y Tacos. The tortilla soup and chicken burrito were delicious. The bartender, John, served me. He was professional and personable. At this time of day, it was relatively quiet. However, the music created a very nice and pleasant ambiance. Very relaxing meal.

We loved this place! First off, they press/make the tortillas in front of you so the entire restaurant just smells of fresh tortillas. The burrito was a little on the salter side but still delicious. The guacamole was super fresh and theh homemade tortilla chips were SO good. Portion size is very generous.

Thank you for our server for making our room "private" so we can have a quick birthday gathering. Food is delicious but not your typical taco or burrito. With a twist. It can be pricey. Food serving is either too big or too small for the price. Our server was wonderful and fun! Attended to our needs and just made the night fun. Parking is somewhat okay. Wait time can be long depending on time of day. The ambiance is somewhat lovely (dimmed), can be loud at times depending if there's sport playing. Overall, will be back here.

I had the worst service I have ever had on Sunday and I'm still in shock because I loved this place but I will not be returning here! First the waitress spills my drink all over the table and me, then I ordered enchiladas with red sauce with no beans and the enchilada was delivered with Mole sauce and beans. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come back to my table and ask how everything was and I asked her can you confirm what my order was? She read back enchiladas red sauce and no beans. I said I believe this is Mole sauce and I can't eat them and I don't have time to wait for new ones so I would like my check and please remove the enchiladas from my bill. She took the enchiladas and came back a few minutes later threw the plate at me and placed a cup with sauce next to the plate and said this is Mole sauce you did have red sauce and walked away. Then the manager came to my table to try to explain the difference in sauce and I told her - this is terrible service you don't come back and throw food down and try to prove to me the sauce is correct. I'm the customer and I said I didn't like the sauce and didn't want the plate and since I have come here several times I know the sauce was not red!! I simply asked for my check so I can go. She took my card and we left. I will never go back here because to me even if the food is good service has to match.

Every thing here is really delicious. Got the short rib wet burrito. The salsas nice and spicy and it comes with whole fried tortilla chips. Guacamole fresh and chunky. The workers are really nice. The place has a modern Spanish look to it.

Amor Y Tacos is an awesome Mexican restaurant with plenty of parking and seating. I arrived for Happy Hour, was immediately seated, and very quickly was given a chance to order. I ordered the beer battered fish tacos, a short rib taco, and the nachos with asada. The food came very quickly and it was amazing. Starting off with the nachos, I couldn't believe the portion size considering the very reasonable price of $8. The plate was packed with fresh chips and every single chip was loaded with a myriad of ingredients. Not only did the nachos have the standard beans, meat, cheese, sour cream, etc... but it also had fresh salsa, onions, cilantro, radish, serranos, and queso oaxaca. Having so many different elements in a dish can cause ingredients to fight with each other, but the nachos at Amor Y Tacos are made with purpose. Every bite a beautiful cross section with very solid ratios and textures. The fresh chips had an excellent crunch that contrasted with the softer elements perfectly. There were no naked chips and every bite was better than the last. The short rib taco was on the smaller side, but was a good couple of bites. The short rib itself was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The chile sauce, onions, and cilantro provided some additional depth and really helped prevent the short rib from overwhelming the taste buds. Very solid taco. Finally, the beer battered fish tacos were some of the best (if not the best) fish tacos I've ever had. Too often, fried fish can be more on the heavy side and really get dragged down by all of the oil it manages to soak up while frying. Amor Y Tacos is the polar opposite of this; the fish was fried so elegantly that every bite was airy and almost melted in my mouth. Truly a masterful twist on a classic taco. The chipotle aioli and salsa de arbol added some spice, but was very complimentary and enhanced the fish. Finally, the shredded cabbage, mint, onion, and cilantro helped balance out the spice and kept the entire dish tasting very refreshing. In my opinion, the fish tacos are a must. Overall, I went to Amor Y Tacos with relatively high expectations and they still exceeded them. The location was great, the service was detail oriented and friendly, and the food was phenomenal. I've gone multiple times and will say that I think the best bang for your buck is going during happy hour.

Came on a Tuesday night for their happy hour. First time checking this place out and sure didn't disappoint. Around 6-7 place is pretty chill and quiet but after that it gets really busy which I don't doubt coz the ambiance food and service is awesome. We got a few small plates to share such as their Brussels sprouts, elote, papas flautas, and a few of their tacos. Overall all were very tasty. They even gave my friend a sweet churro ice cream for her bday! Would highly recommend checking them out

We come here all the time. I can't believe that I haven't left a review! We usually come for dinner but they also have brunch on the weekends. Service tonight was prompt despite being packed. We're creatures of habit so we usually get the same thing every time and it's always consistent! Birria Quesatacos and the asada wet burrito.

A great find. We came for dinner and we didn't have much of a wait. we signed up earlier via Yelp. The food is very fresh. The guacamole is excellent. I really enjoyed the salsa which had a smoky taste to it and not too spicy. The Carnitas plate was excellent and plenty of food to share. My son had the enchiladas which he chose with beef. He too enjoyed them. If you're in the area, definitely stop for a bite.

I've eaten here several times. The food is very consistent and reliable. I love their shortribs options. We love homemade tortillas. We usually choose to sit outside, there is plenty of seating. Parking is ample as well. Service is very consistent. The staff are very friendly. Reliable, consistent yummy food is what you will get here. The prices are consistent with most places . Definitely will return and I highly recommend that you try this place as well.

I first came to Amor Y Tacos with a friend and it was SO delicious, I had to bring my family back. As soon as you walk in, everyone there is so welcoming and very friendly. Always a nice way to walk into a restaurant. We started off with some drinks and chips and guacamole. I had the watermelon margarita which was amazing! I tried the Chilaquiles which was delicious and my husband had the Chile relleno hamburger. He said it was amazing. We were ALL satisfied with our dinner and topped it all off with churros and horchata ice cream . . . Simply YUM!

It's been years since I've been here! Came here for Tuesday happy hour as they have it until 9 pm and the food deals were great. The service was also excellent. The place does fill up but tables still opened up over time. Plenty of parking nearby. Favorites app was the elote!

We always like this place and today proved that they know what they're doing! The waitlist was closed on Yelp (which restricts randoms from joining and tying up the queue) and when we got there she added us on and quoted 30-35 mins. We were able to join the bar sooner, but they were RIGHT ON TIME with the quote. I've been on week nights, this was our first weekend and the tortilla lady was on point! One bartender and she was killing it with speed and service. The food was amazing, only thing I had Brussel burps all night and not sure I would do that taco again.

The service was horrible and the food was mid. Can definitely find a better taco spot like TacoMasa. Our waiter did not come check on us after the food and we watched her attending the table next to us and would not come even if we waived for help.

First time visitor here Located in a shopping plaza with lot of parking and at the same time parking close to the restaurant could be tough during peak periods Decor may look dim at first but really a cantina style and more than casual dining establishment Appears very group friendly, date night, kid friendly, and quite a variety of eats to please both the modern and traditional twist! Tortillas and salsa are all house-made and there is an individual making the tortilla on site and by hand! Our server Sereece was very pleasant friendly and approachable! Even as it got busier she still kept an eye on us and ensure our expectations were met. She explained the top sellers and her favorites and described all in a manner that sounded appealing! We even got to try a sample of the chiliaquiles and it was mixed both with the red and green salsa, delicious!! My friend opted for the quesabirria tacos and loved it! Said the consommé was good enough to drink! It also came with a healthy side of rice and beans. The chip and salsa very smoky and fresh and we were able to sample the hotter salsa and mole! I opted for the chili relleno burger - uh mazing! Served in a brioche bun soft and buttery and fluffy, meat cooked perfectly with the chili relleno on top along with some crunchy lettuce and condiments. Flavors were not overwhelming and stood out on their own. Tator tot were fresh and crispy, season with little pepper. Place had a full bar and flat screens to meet all sports viewing needs. The place didn't get as quiet as expected as people kept coming. Certainly a place to hang and chill! Will certainly come back to try more, next time maybe the tacos! :) Walk in are available and reservations can be made on Yelp as well.

We went to this place while we were visiting to attend my daughter's graduation at Long Beach State. We had a delicious lunch from chicken mole, ceviche, a wet burrito, fish tacos and of course the house made whole tortillas which are absolutely to die for. Their signature. Salsa was also delicious. Service was exemplary and we had a great time. I recommend this place highly if you're down in SoCal. Bon appetit what do you know? How to do it?

The food is amazing AND the customer service is like no other. They accidentally forgot to pack one of our food items when we ordered our food for delivery. I called to ask for a refund for the item and the assistant manager asked if he could still send the item out on delivery to us. I'm so glad he offered that because we would have had to supplement with something else. He said that DoorDash had a very long estimate for delivery so he delivered our food himself. In addition, he provided a gift card and extra food in the bag. ABOVE and BEYOND. That was amazing. I've never experienced anything like that before. Best Mexican food we've ever had.
