A sit‑down, BYOB trattoria known for pink‑sauce pastas, seafood specials, and warm service. Plano Magazine noted its merger with sister spot Adriano’s, keeping the menu’s local following intact.

Food was delicious. We had the salmon salad and the Vodka pasta, both were incredible. The garlic knots tasted great, I think a little more baking would have been ideal. The dipping sauce was good. Did have a little slow service and the the entire first half of the meal was loud because 2 old women were yelling at each other to communicate. Otherwise was very pleasant!

Amoretto has the best NY Style pizza that we've found on this side of town! The Tortellini Aldiamo is a favorite of ours as well! When you arrive, select your table of choice as it's open seating. You are welcome to BYOB, but they also sell beer and wine. The staff is so welcoming and friendly that it's easy to feel right at home!

This was a great experience. Very cute inside, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, very nicely decorated. The service was fast. The food was delicious; we had the baked tortellini, meatballs, tour of Italy, and the chicken Marsala. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my friends wanted to go out of lunch on valentines day and decided to come here, we came here around 2:30 PM. This is the first time to visit this place and everyone loved the food. This is quaint Italian restaurant and definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the neighborhood. It’s a small restaurant but they have a great selection of pasta, pizza, seafood and chicken. Great food and very friendly staff. We ordered calamari with marinara sauce for appetizer and ordered Chicken & Shrimp Ziti Primivera and Fried chicken Fettuccine Calabrese for main course. First they served the Calamari with marinara sauce, it was well seasoned and deep fried and the marinara sauce was also freshly made I could taste the fresh ingredients. It was very delicious. And then they served Ziti primivera and Fettuccine Calabrese with freshly baked garlic bread. Everything was amazing and so tasteful. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic and very delicious Italian cuisine. I would definitely visit again!

We visited here for the first time and had such an amazing experience. We were amazed by every food we ordered. First off, their garlic breads are incredible. The bread are SO buttery, fluffy, and SOFT; I am sure I would be able to eat them without teeth. We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer and their calamari with fried basils and red peppers was amazing. For the entrees, we ordered chicken fettuccini Alfredo, Amoretto Baked Tortellini and spaghetti with Italian sausage. I especially liked their pink sauce as well as Alfredo sauce, and tomato sauce. Overall, every dish was so delish! So glad that we have found this place and we will definitely come back soon.

Google
Had a fantastic lunch here! Everything from the layout of the restaurant to the service to the food was great!!!! The garlic rolls are to die for, the salad with the Italian dressing that they make is amazing and this is coming from a guy that loves Ranch dressing. We tried the chicken Parmesan and Chicken Madera that is Chicken breast, red onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms and spinach over spaghetti on Madeira wine. It was all fantastic and $35.00!!! That is just a few bucks more than fast food and twice the deal!!!. We will defiantly be back for more of the good stuff.

Google
The food is prepared freshly and tailored to our preferences. I appreciated the warm welcome and the server’s polite and friendly demeanor. She was knowledgeable about every aspect and provided helpful suggestions. I would suggest this place as an alternative to any well-known Italian restaurant in town.

Yelp
So I would give this restaurant a 4 1/2 star, but I could only choose between five and four. Why I deducted half a star was because of the service, the girl that was waiting on us didn't seem to care that we were there she didn't have any real answers for us and she just seemed to be passing time. Other than that, for the type of restaurant it is it was really good. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. My husband had the meat lasagna however there wasn't much meat in that lasagna, FYI. We ordered chicken Alfredo and a pizza to go for our kids. The restaurant is cute and quaint and BBYO and the price is very very reasonable. I will go back again with my family, hoping for a little more exciting service and hopefully next time try a dessert

Yelp
We are from Oklahoma, but we travel to this area 2-4 times each year. We first tried Amoretto six years ago, and it has been one of our favorites since then. In fact, we often visit the restaurant twice during each trip because we have so many menu items that we love. Everything is delicious and freshly made. The service is always excellent. The pizzas are always a good option, and all of the pasta dishes are great. The fresh, hot bread that they bring to the table is so hard to resist. My favorite meal is the eggplant rollatini. My kids all love the pink sauce on any of the pasta. There are almost too many options because it's so hard to decide what to get. We have recommended Amoretto to anyone we know who will be visiting the Plano area, and our friends have always been very grateful and complimentary about their experiences here.

Yelp
Called next day and manager remade the entre. Night & day difference!!!! The remade fettuccine calíbrese was delicious. The chicken was tender and the sauce was remarkable. I would order and recommend this again. Don't know what happened with the first order but this was very good. Egzon H (owner) contacted me the next day to see if we were satisfied with the remade order. We are. I'm

Yelp
This place absolutely crushed it! Super authentic flavor and menu. I got take out but service was quick and the restaurant was nice and clean when I picked up my food. Really delicious! I ordered classic fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which was simple but done well. I also got the sausage and pepperoni Stromboli which was awesome! I definitely will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
10/10. I usually have something to say about a resteraunt, either the food is missing something or the service or ambiance is off but this place? 10s across the board. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo & pesto pasta with friend chicken. My date ordered something that was also good but i don't even remember what it was , all i remember is my meal perhaps because of the 3 glasses of tasty house blend white wine but who knows The meal was rich, decedent, and delicious. The pasta creamy, flavorful, and pairing beautifully with my wine. I have no critiques ! A true hole in the wall. Best part ? It kept in the fridge so well ! We used an air fryer to heat up the leftovers but i closed my eyes and i was back in the restaurant !

Yelp
What a gem. This is such a cute restaurant with amazing food and wonderful customer service. The chicken fettuccine, chef salad, kids pizza, and chicken carbonara were all fabulous.

Yelp
Garlic Bread... YUM! Could have eaten the entire basket myself. The "Amoretto Special" was mostly great. Shrimp very flavorful. Chicken acceptable. The veal left a bit to be desired--a small, tough piece of meat. Got the Chef Salad and Large Spectacular 4x4 pizza "to go" for the next night's dinner. Both look fantastic if not "spectacular", but can't speak to the quality yet. And probably would not be fair to review "day old" pizza. Service from Nevaeh was great. Atmosphere is a small, casual storefront in a mostly Asian strip center. Even though they have beer and wine on the menu now, I was told you could BYOB for "$1.99 a glass".

Yelp
We were told the food was amazing, but they had never been to the restaurant in person; they had only used DoorDash for 'ToGo" deliveries. We were told the food was always HOT and delicious (except the garlic bread is always stale)! We decided to check it out in person. It's a quaint little place--even a bit cozy! It wasn't busy at all, and we were immediately seated, reviewed the menu and the "daily specials," and were ready to order. The server was kind and took our order... I wanted a glass of wine, but I said I would start with water. The Tour of Italy (daily special) and the Lasagna Bolognese (reg menu)! While we waited, I headed to the restroom--ugh, the RR really needed attention! After I washed my hands, there were no paper towels and nothing to dry my hands with. I walked out with my hands dripping and quickly asked an employee (also a server) for "...paper towels, as there were none in the ladies' room". She grabbed a handful of towels, wadded them up, and handed them to me (I kid you not)! I told her you might want to add some to the RR, and she said ok... but others had the same experience. Back at the table, I was pleasantly surprised to see Garlic Bread and marinara sauce... it was so delicious; the bread was barely warm but still tasty. We gobbled it up! Our food arrived. It was hot and smelled so good. We requested more bread, and it was amazing--hot and fresh--just as it should be! We immediately noticed the portions. The Lasagna ($11.99) portion was generous, but the Tour of Italy ($17.99) was more like an appetizer. It had a quarter portion of Lasagna, a quarter of chicken parm, and a tiny scoop of fettuccini (Not worth $17.99)! The chicken parmesan was tough and tasted old. The Fettucchini was amazingly delicious, and the lasagna was very good! Once the meal was delivered, the server returned only when it was time to deliver the check. In the meantime, I never got to order that wine; our water glasses were empty, and we wanted to order another entre to go, and dessert... It had gotten a little busy, so maybe they were short-handed... we will never know. We will definitely give it another try... Just no "Tour Of Italy"! lol

Yelp
Perfect first date place!! The food is superb! Everything is extremely well made- sauces, pastas etc. Our server was attentive. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The fact that this place is nestled in a shopping plaza filled with Asian restaurants and shops along a busy roadway off a major highway is a hidden gem. The server greets your table with the softest, and equally balanced garlic, buttery knots with home made marinara, which you can tell as it doesn't have the strong acidic taste. I got the build your own pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and olives. The crust was perfect, and folded exactly how a NY pizza should. I also got the shrimp genovese. Pasta was cooked to perfection, and sauce was not overly buttery. The accolades on the door is not enough to spotlight how good this place is. Although inside of the restaurant the decor is cliche of your typical small town, Americanized neighborhoods Italian restaurants, but what's hidden in the back is a kitchen straight from Italy. Save your money on going to a European vacation and just stop by this place.
google avatar

Michelle I.

Yelp
Came in at 4:30p so it wasn't busy. Staff was friendly. Garlic bread was good but didn't care for the marinara that came with it. Slightly too acidic. Pasta dishes were good but nothing special. The favorite out of the dishes was the Alfredo.
google avatar

Yelp
Braided bread to go with the superb meal!! Tortellini with excellent sauce. Can't remember the name of the sauce. A mix of red and white. Really good.

Yelp
I've gone to this Italian restaurant for takeout ever since it opened. It is my go to Italian restaurant ..great staff. Great food consistency. I would highly recommend Amoretto.
google avatar

Risha S.

Yelp
Came in on a Tuesday early evening and the place was empty. Service was fast and the food was amazing. Unfortunately you can only buy wine by the bottle or a glass of house red or white, and they have a couple of standard beers. Star off for that - I expect better wine selections with Italian food. Cannoli was bomb and 3 pieces went fast, but it's not the "real" Italian cannoli with the fruit pieces in it or pistachios on the side - but still so good. The eggplant parm (vegetarian) was delicious- they bake and fry it, not too thick or thin, and I asked for another sauce instead of marinara which was way better. Might be their pink sauce. Took some home since I couldn't finish it all. The Amoretto special was detailed to me to be delicious and finished right away. Perfect amount of food for a hungry person :)
google avatar

Nga N.

Yelp
I love me some home cooked Italian food. Tiny little hole in a wall. I like their free breads. Can't go wrong with the pasta with seafood. Their salmon limon with caper is also delicious.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. They start you with free garlic and parm bread that comes with their red sauce. Wow. Good. I got the cheese tortellini with pink sauce. Added the fried chicken cutlet. Very good and quick.

Yelp
Who would have thought an amazing, affordable Italian restaurant would be located in an Asian shopping strip? Not me! As you walk in, you'll be greeted and told you can sit wherever you'd like. The staff is really friendly, although it doesn't seem like so there are many workers so be patient. We started off with the fried calamari which also came with fried bell peppers and some other fried green. Delicious, slightly a bit saltier than I would like but good portion. They also have the most amazing, soft and fresh garlic knots ever served with marinara sauce that they give to you for free. We ended up ordering two pasta dishes and a medium pizza. Food took a reasonable amount of time to prepare, maybe 15-20 min. My pasta dish was the Tortellini, absolutely delicious and creamy and right portion - I still had left overs. We ordered a medium pizza for god knows what reason because my oh my was it huge! We had a lot to go. The place started filling up towards the end of our meal, but that is always a good sign. Prices here are actually so reasonable, and their menu is incredibly vast as there are so many options to choose from. I can't wait to come back and try more food!
google avatar

Annabelle B.

Yelp
I trusted yelp, but I really didn't like this place. It was very low tier Italian food. Edit - I forgot to add that they didn't even take our drink orders, so service was lacking as well.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food, great staff, super friendly and always open to offering new suggestions to try!

Yelp
Just had an amazing dinner and had to share. We have been by this location hundreds of times and never stopped. I was craving Italian and my husband looked up reviews near us and found this gem. Amoretto Italian Restaurant on Spring Creek/75. It is a small family run place with maybe 15 tables, but don't let the size fool you. The meals come with garlic knots to start. We had Italian sausage with spaghetti, shrimp genovese and chicken tortellini al pesto. The tortellini were little pillows of cheese goodness. You have been warned to save room for dessert! The cheesecake was so rich and drizzled with a raspberry sauce. RUN DONT WALK, and save room for dessert

Carly E.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous food! We stopped in on a snowy night, thrilled to find this place open. The bread they bring is spectacular, the calamari was perfectly cooked, the pizza crust was excellent, and the trio plate was some of the best pasta we have ever had. The service was excellent. Our food came quickly. We come to the area every two months, so we will definitely be back!

Yelp
Walked in here completely clueless on how the service or the food was going to be and walked out super happy with the food and the price and even the service. The pictures online do not do it justice. When we walked in there was no one there, so we got seated very quickly. The restaurant itself is small yet cozy, and the lighting really sets the tone and holds up the standard of an Italian restaurant. The bread and the sauce that they bring you in the beginning is the best piece of bread Ive ever had, I lowkey wanted to take some home. We ordered the Mussels & Clams as an appetizer and yet again they hit the spot with the sauce that they are drenched in. Its so different from the bread sauce from the beginning but it is still so good and creamy, and i even tried it with the bread, omg i was dying on the inside. We next ordered a fettucine carbonara, and a carnivore of love pizza. I personally loved the fettuccine carbonara better than the pizza but my partner absolutely loved both. We ordered a tiramisu to go and that as well was so good. And our waitress was very sweet with us and attentive! I wish I got her name. We're definitely coming back here again!
google avatar

Tonya F.

Yelp
The bread and marina for the table makes my mouth water for the rest of the meal! Manga!! This is what you call a hidden gem! Like other reviewers said, nothing fancy but the food is fabulous! We've never seen a dish with both Veal AND Shrimp! Hubby loved it. I saw the reviews about the Limone dish and tried the Salmon Limone. Amazing! Bring your own wine and no corkage fee! Oh! the cannoli's are also delicious!
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
I ordered from Uber eats and the food was amazing. Even my fountain sprite had great soda/syrup ratio. It definitely would have tasted better at the restaurant. I wouldn't order the garden salad or madera chicken pasta again, but they weren't bad. My pizza was GREAT! Their prices = great deals! Next time, I have to dine in because I think the whole Uber eats experience made the food a little soggy, but I was still impressed.
google avatar

Pooja R.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I have been here hundreds of time and every time the food comes to the table I just dig in so this time I made sure to capture a photo of the amazing food first. All the pastas and pizza here is absolutely amazing, and the complimentary fresh bread is to die for. The staff is also very sweet and will also give amazing suggestions if you are unsure of what to have. Its a small yet cozy restaurant, and definitely a go-to italian place for me.
google avatar

Abhijit R.

Yelp
Always lovely to be here. A small cozy place, but great food and awesome service. I've catered from here a few times and they haven't disappointed at all. Add this one to your list of you haven't been here before.

Nick W.

Yelp
Beautiful Italian food, great takeout. Ordered delivery and the vodka sauce was savory and filling.

Roem P.

Yelp
5/5 STARS! From start to finish, our early dinner was superb. We can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings. If you're looking for a top-notch Italian dining experience in Plano, look no further than Amoretti Restaurant!

Jenny T.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Reminded me of Italy. It was so good that we ate there 2 nights in a row. And the service was great!

Jackie B.

Yelp
Calzone was not filled with much at all. Mainly bread filled with a small amount of ricotta and mushrooms with lite spinach. Very disappointed
google avatar

Nathan K.

Yelp
Where to begin? We only happened on this place as it was raining and next door to Tiger Sugar. But man- it is a new regular spot now. The complimentary garlic knots to start were pillow soft and seasoned to perfection even without the delicious marinara. Even with a full dining room, food came reasonably quickly and every dish was as good as the last. The Chicken Marsala had a massive portion of chicken and the signature wine flavor really came through, though it personally could have had a touch more acid and mushrooms. The Scallapini was refreshing with mainly citrus flavors and not overwhelmingly creamy. I would have liked it to be more basil heavy, but they used fresh leaves, so another point for Amoretto. Service a impeccable, constantly checking up and refilling knots and bread. The menu is expansive, so I will make a point to try their pizza next time. I'm gonna gain a lot of weight here.

Paul K.

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Reasonably priced. I also like the garlic bread and you can ask for more.

karen A.

Yelp
Had a pizza, and i was cooked nicely, the cheese and sauce was delicious. the server was very sweet and we did not wait long for service and our food.Very cute restaurant, would pick over a chain pizza restaurant if im around the area.

Yelp
My-a experience at-a Amoretto was-a a total-a disaster, leaving-a me feeling-a utterly-a let down-a and-a questioning-a my-a choice-a of-a dining destination. From-a the moment-a I-a walked-a through-a the-a door-a, it-a was-a clear-a that-a this-a supposedly-a hip-a Italian-a spot-a had-a missed-a the mark-a entirely. Let's-a talk-a about-a the-a service-a, or-a lack-a thereof. It-a was-a a complete-a snooze fest-a. The-a waitstaff-a seemed-a totally-a checked-a out-a, taking-a their-a sweet time-a to even-a acknowledge-a our-a presence-a. It-a felt-a like-a we-a were-a invisible-a as-a we-a impatiently-a waited-a for-a them-a to take-a our-a orders-a. And-a don't-a get-a me-a started-a on-a their-a lack-a of-a attentiveness-a throughout-a the-a entire-a meal-a. Now-a, onto-a the-a food-a. Talk-a about-a a major-a disappointment-a. The-a pasta-a dishes-a were-a a total-a letdown-a. They-a lacked-a any-a sort-a of-a flavor-a punch-a and-a were-a cooked-a to-a the-a point-a of-a mushiness-a. It-a felt-a like-a they-a were-a just-a going-a through-a the-a motions-a in-a the-a kitchen-a. Plus-a, the-a portion-a sizes-a were-a laughably-a small-a for-a the-a prices-a they-a were-a charging-a. It-a left-a us-a feeling-a ripped-a off-a and-a still-a hungry-a for-a more-a. And-a the-a vibe-a? Ugh-a, don't-a even-a get-a me-a started-a. The-a place-a was-a a complete-a madhouse-a. It-a was-a so-a loud-a, we-a could-a barely-a hear-a ourselves-a think-a, let-a alone-a hold-a a conversation-a. It-a felt-a more-a like-a a chaotic-a nightclub-a than-a an-a Italian-a restaurant-a. And-a the-a tables-a were-a crammed-a in-a so-a tight-a, it-a was-a like-a playing-a a game-a of-a contortion-a to get-a in-a and-a out-a of-a our-a seats-a. All-a in-a all-a, Amoretto was-a a massive-a letdown-a. The-a lackluster-a service-a, mediocre-a food-a, and-a chaotic-a ambiance-a all-a added-a up-a to-a a dining experience-a that-a left-a a bad-a taste-a in-a my-a mouth-a. Save-a yourself-a the-a trouble-a and-a find-a a better-a Italian-a joint-a that-a actually-a knows-a how-a to-a deliver-a on-a flavor-a, atmosphere-a, and-a service-a.

Yelp
Everything about this little place was great the music/ambiance, food and friendly service. We will def be back.

Yelp
Oh wow. This restaurant tasted like I was in Italy! I had the "sampler" and oh my goodness, it did not disappoint!! Please go see for yourself! YumO

Lola S.

Yelp
The lasagna is fantastic! So is their house wine! The service is always friendly. I loved it so much I took my whole family.
google avatar

Jimin C.

Yelp
There are not very many restaurants that serve vegetarian pasta. Out of those that do, there aren't many that do it well. Amoretto's linguini pomodoro is simply delightful! It is very flavorful and served in perfect portion. Their bread and marinara sauce is also to die for.

Melanie O.

Yelp
Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Great service and food. Staff was very attentive and gave great suggestions when ordering.
google avatar

Laurence R.

Yelp
A solid neighborhood Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy, just tasty food. The veal parmesan made for a good dinner.
google avatar

Kristi H.

Yelp
We just happened to be in plano area and needed a bite to eat. I always search using ratings and reviews. This spot had a 4.6 and great reviews. Atmosphere was nice. Small and quaint. Customer service was friendly. The medium pizza was huge and prices reasonable. Yelp even gave vme 10% off. It was great
google avatar

Daniel J.

Yelp
Wow! Great food with amazing service. Small little restaurant that gives the opportunity to focus on their guests. All the dishes we had were amazing. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Sandeep G.

Yelp
Every time, we get food from here we wonder why don't we do this more often. We got Chicken Marsala & Chicken Madera this time. When we opened both they looked the same and our first thought was that we got two of the same but we were wrong. The two had very distinct flavors. The chicken & the Pasta were cooked to perfection. The portion size was good and the garlic bread that came was soft, warm, and had a distinct flavor.

Julie S.

Yelp
The night we were there, they were severely understaffed. The food was not hot, and the quality and flavors were mediocre at best. I try to support local, but this meal wasn't worth the time waiting around or the prices charged. We won't be back.

Mejdija V.

Yelp
Really enjoyed Cheesy Pizza ! I'm not kidding, their Calzone is the best one I've had. Freshly made dough and toppings were loaded! Also, the service is super great,
google avatar

Ally G.

Yelp
Quaint Italian restaurant in an unassuming location worth your business. We went for dinner last night and were greeted immediately. The menu is plentiful and the dishes we chose were delicious!! The garlic bread with the marinara dipping sauce was so fresh. YUM! While we enjoyed our dinner, we saw many people come in for pick-up orders. This was my first visit and I chose the Tortellini Aldiamo (tortellini in pink sauce). It was scrumptious! My fiance ordered the Tour of Italy and enjoyed each dish. He especially loved the homemade lasagna. Outstanding! Plenty of items caught our eye on the menu, so we will be back very soon.
google avatar

Dora C.

Yelp
Came here a while back but couldn't remember the name of it but we finally found it today and it's just as good as the first time if not better.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
Your local quality Italian ristorante! First time dining in and was overall pleased with the calming ambience and prices -- service as well. Relatively empty on a weekday evening but a few more tables got filled while we dined. -garlic rolls with sauce -garden salad -tortellini (creamy) -spaghetti with Italian sausage (+1.00) Portions were a nice size with some leftovers to take home. The entrees were not too heavy, which we liked. We did not get dessert but the tiramisu is apparently well-loved. If I recall, their pizza was quite good with chewy dough Would recommend for a semi-casual meet-up with friends or family. We could all use some more home style Italian cooking in our lives!

Yelp
My wife and I came here for a nice late night meal. The place was quaint and relaxing. The food we ordered was delicious, especially the stuffed mushrooms and the price was reasonable. The service was very good and the servers took care of us. We plan to come back again!
