Ample Hills Creamery Upper West Side

We enjoyed our afternoon treat! We went around 2:30 on a Saturday and there was no line. The staff was friendly and let us try flavors. The ice cream was very soft and creamy. They also had water dispenser and cups which was nice. I was hoping to try their cookie dough ice cream which is on their website but they didn’t seem to have it that day. But the chocolate ice cream and the coffee au Lait was good! Recommend ample hills if you’re in the area!

The banana pudding ice cream is heavenly! It is rich and creamy and tastes just like banana pudding, without the gross, squishy texture of cooked bananas. It's a must have!

I decided to treat myself to a scoop of “the munchies” at ample hill on the UWS. I got home and took a big bite only to realize I was served the wrong ice cream flavor (captain crunch) and the milk had gone bad. The ice cream was completely inedible. I called the store, was directed to a manager that had an employee taste the ice cream. The employee confirmed over the phone that it had turned and was not edible. I was offered no refund. I even said “i should get my $7 back”. All the manager had to offer was “sorry have a good night”.

Just Do it! Everyone deserves to eat Ice Cream.

So happy Ample Hills is back!! Made the trip to the Upper West Side to get my fix! The best ice cream I've ever had in NYC! I cannot recommend them enough!

October 1st 2024 visit around 8 p.m. ish…. Whoever the female employee was working last night , definitely could use some better manners and possibly retraining. Extremely rude as well as not inviting at all when my family and I were there. We waited patiently as another group of ppl were being served and when it was out turn, she tried to rush us and then move onto ppl behind us. And when I objected to that because we were next in line, I was told “well what I am gonna do is go up and down the line to whom ever…… I objected again and simply said well we were here and we are ready. Afterwards, she was visibly upset/annoyed. She seemed authoritative or maybe just felt empowered as if us the paying customer, owe her for coming in and trying to have a nice treat and experience. Shame on her and her customer service skills. She gets zero stars.

One of the better ice creams I've had in the city. They have some unique flavors, we really enjoyed the corn-blueberries ice cream!

Flavors were all fun to try! Sadly they were out of the oh caption my caption one that is most popular! I loved the falling for pumpkin.
