Nice food and atmosphere. Waiters made me feel at ease. The Bourguigon sauce and spinach that came with the beef was quite salty. Other than that, everything tasted nice. I’m especially impressed by the cocktail! It’s unlike anything I had drank before and it’s delicious!

Went for the Sunday roast after seeing Kevin feature on the TV program 'Great British Menu'. The food was delicious and plentiful, we all left feeling full and satisfied. Perfectly cooked meat, veg, and I had a fish based starter which was fresh. The waitress / sommelier had some excellent recommendations for wine and made sure our table was kept well throughout the dining experience. We will be back to try their other menus!

We tried to book a table for 8 pm a day in advance but ended up calling and securing a table for 8:30 pm. When we arrived a quarter of an hour early, a polite waiter warmly welcomed us. Our table, located by the window, provided a view of the frozen plants outside struggling for survival. We were presented with still bottled water from Deeside, and the menu was tempting. We opted for the six-course tasting menu with the sommelier's wine pairings. Beautiful amuses started our meal. We had to order a glass of Taittinger since the first amuse was not paired. The first amuse was a shimeji mushroom delight, followed by pumpkin and parmesan. A South African Cinsault paired wonderfully with the flavorful beef tartare. Next came the bread and butter; the crust was crispy, and the taste was plain. The strozzapreti in double chicken stock with truffles and parmesan was rich in taste and matched perfectly with the South Italian red wine from Calabria. The New Zealand Chardonnay was also quite special, elevating the salmon dish beyond imagination. The gentle smokiness of the salmon, combined with the rich sauce and the acidity of the cured cucumber, exceeded my wildest expectations. The roe deer was divine, with textures and flavors creating a culinary symphony, complemented by an amazing Portuguese Douro wine. The cheesecake was an explosion of flavor, and the South African dessert wine was equally good, owing to its quality and complexity. Thank you, Kevin, for a fantastic evening. We truly appreciate the effort you and your outstanding team have put into the menu, the wine selection, and the service. Thank you once again for an incredible experience. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful dining experience. Used a birthday voucher to have Sunday lunch which could not be faulted. Staff were professional and attentive and the restaurant had a cosy peaceful atmosphere. The food was lovely with excellent flavour profiles. The venison ragu tasted fantastic and the roast beef was melt in the mouth with a rich red wine gravy. Presentation of food was beautiful. Mocktails 🍸 just a treat. Who could ask for more. I'll definitely be back to experience more.

40th bday in the private raised area.... perfect!!! Jack, you took alot from us and we thank you for everything. Your service was impeccable, non intrusive, professional but you certainly had the, and could take the, banter!!! As they say.... a picture tastes a thousands bites.... or something like that!!

Enjoyed a really lovely meal here for restaurant week! The servers were all attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and all the flavours completed each other really well. The place had a great atmosphere and was cozy and welcoming :) hope to be back soon!

Arriving at Amuse, as expected... warm welcome and swiftly taken to the table with drinks and specials of the day. Sitting at the back window no issue to me but the sky light needs addressing, also probably best to close the back blinds where the chiller is where you see staff dashing for bottles. Food - flavour was bang on, gnocchetti... oh my days... don't know if I'm bias but that's exactly what the taste buds need! Presentation - dishes were displayed lovely, there was one dish I personally received which was dirty, didn't stop me eating but mentioned to service staff with the note of don't worry, make sure for future guests who may cause a scene! Overall, loved the food!!

Overpriced menu for undercooked food. As a chef of this restaurant you’d expect one to ensure plates come back empty and question the ones with entire food left - not the case. You like it or not, they don’t care why, give you the bill and thanks for coming. Place is great though and beer was good, we were there with friends and this made the experience better.
