I have no idea why this place is highly rated at all. Service is great, but the food and drink are awful! Lavender lemonade had neither lemon or lavender, tasted of artificial powder and sugar, and the frozen margarita was the worst we've ever had. We ordered the larb salad, which wasn't bad in taste, but had only 2 pieces of lettuce, which was really strange but completely threw the balance of the salad off. The fish with basel sauce was absolutely horrendous! Overcooked to a degree i never experienced in thai restaurants and the breading was too thick, and the sauce was thick and horrible and had absolutely no thai basil, and for some reason, they brought other ingredients that was not mentioned in the menu like steamed broccoli that wasn't seasoned and smelled weird. We could not eat it and left the restaurant hungry and disappointed.

Beautiful spot, low key and intimate. The food was exceptional! I had the shrimp clay pot and it was the best Thai dish I’ve had in a while. Hot and full of fresh flavor - and they don’t skimp on shrimp! The drinks were delicious as well. Priced super reasonably for a nice lunch or dinner. This is my go-to spot for Thai now!

I had previously placed an online order from this establishment and was somewhat disappointed. Therefore, I decided to give it a chance by visiting in person, hoping for a change of opinion. Unfortunately, my experience did not improve. Upon entering the restaurant, I realized that it was much smaller than I had anticipated, creating a cramped atmosphere. I would not recommend this place for large parties, as it is not suitable for more than two people. Although we were seated promptly, we had to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes before a server came to take our order. Throughout the evening, we encountered four different servers. As someone who works in operations, I found this lack of efficiency concerning, despite not being in the food industry myself. To make matters worse, the party seated next to us, who arrived 20 minutes after us, was served before us and received all of their orders first. This was quite frustrating, considering the amount of time we had already spent waiting. Nevertheless, we decided to stay and make the best of our time. Once we placed our orders, it became evident that this restaurant does not offer authentic Thai cuisine. I have never been to a Thai establishment that does not provide the option of "Thai spice." However, I digress. The only highlight of the night was the appetizers we ordered. Unfortunately, the drunken noodles were bland and lacked the desired level of spice. I would not recommend dining in at this restaurant. If you happen to be in the area and need a quick snack, I suggest only grabbing some appetizers and drinks to go. When we requested the check, it took an additional 15 minutes to arrive at our table. Overall, this experience has left a lasting impression on me, and I have no intention of returning in the future.

I first enjoyed the experience of this cuisine through pickup and found that the food was made fresh and delicious. Typically, i order the red snapper fish whenever i come here and it is worth the price. To dine in the atmosphere is lightly dimmed with a more small intimate space. They have a bar section to the side as well

Great thai pad se ew, spicy level is amazing. The fried tofu is just ok tho. Big shrimps, and the portion id great. Love their app, for ordering and point collecting. Their beverage is tasty as well. I forgot to take a pic of it i was very hungry.

Love this place! 2nd time ordering & just as nice as the 1st time. I enjoy their buy 1 get 1 free deal on Uber eats. We got Thai Fried Rice and Crispy Lime wings. The food is so fresh and well-seasoned. The wings were so tasty and perfectly battered and crispy. I can pack food away but I'm always so full up and its such a good price. It came within 30 minutes, perfectly hot and ready to feast.

The food is delicious but the service is terrible. They are selective with whom they choose to serve first while dining In and I was harassed for a larger tip which was unacceptable due to the lack of acknowledgement I’ve received while dining in. From the wrong food being bought to my table to having to go to the front just to request a check because my check was never bought to the table. Will not spend my money here again.

I’m still learning about this restaurant. I’ve tried soup, pork chops, and sticky rice . I dislike the amount of soup served for the price (6 oz container for $12, very little food inside the soup). I love the amount of pork chops given for the price. I disliked the rice because it was not my definition of sticky and was like a hard ball. Something I would snack on rather than something I would eat alongside protein for a meal. I would keep eating here because of convenience and close proximity.

I've had food here plenty of times for takeout and I've dined in once as well. I absolutely love the pineapple fried rice with chicken and spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce. The fried Calamari here is pretty good as well. The mango punch is refreshing and a decent size. I love how I'm always able to receive my order in a timely manner. I never have an issue with my order and the portions are perfect.

Wow - these dishes were so good! We got the Penang Curry with fried Tofu which was hot and flavorful and came with the perfect amount of rice. And my personal favorite was the Pad See Ew with Chicken - this one was a great level of spice and super flavorful. The meat was perfectly cooked and the noodles were so bouncy. I would not be surprised if they made the noodles in house based on how fresh they were. Definitely recommend to get the Pad See Ew for those fresh noodles and great flavor!

11/08/23: 2nd time this time dine in. Cute cosy neighborhood spot. Wish I had one in my neighborhood. I love their Basil fried rice so of course that was my main. Love the fact it's spicy but you still enjoy the flavor. We ordered wings and calamari as appetizers. Good size portions. By all the traffic between diners, take out and pick ups you can tell it's a neighborhood favorite. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely return whenever I'm in the area.

Quick and dirty to be updated some point in the future: Food: YES, the best you'll get in the area. Salmon is fresh and teriyaki flavor is on point. Note to owner: don't be afraid of serving the clay pots hotter. Let the Americans figure out how to work your cuisine. Their spicy dishes are delicious and while heavy, you can finish if you time your bites well. Get the salmon pot or curry! Service: These guys are fast and no nonsense. You better tip well as they really deserve it. Ambiance: as for our Tuesday afternoon lunch here, we found Amy to be very relaxing. Mirrors help add spaciousness and the light behind the leather seats is nice!

Listen, when you see spicy next to the food know that it's SPICY and will burn you twice! Yes, I enjoy spicy food but you tasted more spice than anything. The chicken wings were really good. Interesting seasoning on them. The curry puffs were very good! The place itself is very cute and cozy. The service was disorganized even though it was a rainy day without a lot of people. There was just my table and another.

I have been dining here every Thursday and Sunday after work. Today was the first day that the service was horrible! I have always heard about this one waiter that's very rude and sassy, in the 3 months dining here I have never met his acquaintance until today! Very nasty! I had ordered the muscles with vegetables and white rice and the seasoning was just globbed all over the food. I waited for him to come to the table and I pointed it out to him, he sucked his teeth and began yelling at me "what's the problem with the food? What's the issue?" He then took the plate to the back and came back with a smaller portion all over the vegetables were gone. They didn't make a new plate, they just cooked it again. I said this isn't the same thing I've been ordering this same meal for 3 months again he starts yelling, I started crying I was in total disbelief. I wanted to tell any snatch him up but there's a police station on the corner. The place is beautiful! Ambiance a solid A but today the meal was horrible and salty! And the waiter was rude and sassy. Now I know why the place is empty 90% of the time. Also they have a table in there where they store all of the employees coats and belongings near a table that is eating never sit near that one it's bikes boxes and papers all in that area. It takes away from the ambiance. The food way way to salty today! Never going back I'll stick to Japanese food! They're more pleasant.

Came with my boyfriend on a weeknight based on a recommendation from a friend! FOOD: We shared the drunken noodles with tofu and the green curry with chicken. Both were quite good, I would say the drunken noodle was a little spicier than I was expecting, but I liked it. SERVICE: Good! We were waiting a little while for the check and then realized after asking that you just go to the register when you want to pay and leave. AMBIANCE: Nothing fancy, but reasonably cute. Small inside. Simple but fine for a casual date. OVERALL: Enjoyed! Would definitely come back.

I discovered this restaurant during the pandemic and I'm happy I did. It's by far the best Thai restaurant in Flatbush. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I really wish they had lunch specials, but other than that I have no other complaints.

One of my favorite local Thai places food is always amazing and so reasonably priced - I have come here many times and never been disappointed. The one downside is it can get quite noisy especially when they are using the blender.

The first time I went to Amy Thai Bistro, I was considerably impressed. I ordered the spring rolls, roti massaman curry, the Drunken noodles (star of the show), and the mango sticky rice - all of which hit the spot. (The mango sticky rice could've used a bit more mango pieces so that each sticky rice bite could come with a mango piece, but it was still good!) My friend ordered the pad thai and we liked it. However, when I ordered take out from here a few weeks after, I found the Pad thai to be average and the spring rolls to be extremely salty and soggy when they arrived to me. Not sure if they were having an off day, but I would go back to give them another chance and to specifically have the Drunken noodles. It was a nice mix of sweet and salty and the texture was great. If you know good drunken noodles, you'll absolutely love it here.

Amy's is a great spot in Brooklyn to grab affordable and delicious Thai food. I had the shrimp pad see ew, and my aunt ordered the salmon clay pot. Both dishes were amazing. We also ordered lavender lemonades, which were too sweet for my liking. While I would love to eat here again, the space is way too small to sit and genuinely enjoy yourself, esp with a group of friends, so I suggested ordering take out here.

I would go back here again, definitely a gem on Flatbush Ave. The food was delicious, and there were plenty of vegetarian and pescatarian options. Just about every dish with a protein could have tofu instead for a cheaper price. I read in the reviews that the default level of spice can be a bit much for those who aren't used to it. I thought it was fine, but my friend later admitted she would've preferred the mild spice option or waitress told us about. We went in the evening, and the lights were dim and every table had some flowers on them. Very cute for a date night in the area which was something I was looking for. Definitely a spot to try!

Stoped by one of my favorite places for Lunch today, I kept it simple. I had the shrimp pad Thai and the jumbo mango punch ( honestly it's one of the best drinks I've ever tasted and leave your tastebuds wanting more) and I cleaned my plate. I was happy that I beat the lunch crowd since the weather is great and as always the the space was clean, fresh cut flowers on each table and amazing service as always.

Stopped by with some friends and their kids for lunch on a Saturday. They were able to accommodate our group without reservations and there were still plenty of open tables. For Appetizers, we ordered the chicken wings, super delicious, crispy and had a nice sweet chilli dipping sauce. Then we had the roti massaman. It was flakey and we loved the curry sauce. It had a hint of coconut milk and had a very creamy consistency. The roti itself wasn't oily. For entrees, we ordered a beef pad thai which was delicious. It had a bit of sweetness and noodles packed with flavor. The beef however was a bit on the dry and chewier side. We then tried the panang curry with mock duck. The duck was ok but the curry tasted amazing. Portion sizes were great and the food did not taste or feel greasy. Also loved the Thai iced tea and the mint lemonade. Both were very refreshing.

I've been trying to find a good spot for Tom Kha Soup, but this one just wasn't it. Mine didn't have bell peppers in it and that was disappointing.

I love this quaint restaurant. Food was very tasty and they provided large serving. The only thing I do not recommend is the duck buns. The meat was very had and difficult to chew. Probably over cooked. Other than that everything I tried was delicious. Will return again!

Really enjoyed this place . The thai tea is delicious and their food is so good I always play around with the menu and try different things whenever we decide to have lunch here . We sometimes have a boozy lunch (their cocktails are also pretty good) The staff was so nice they even ran us down to return our phone (left on the table) Perfect lunch spot . Hardest place to find parking .

This a solid neighborhood restaurant that's serves up great, flavorful Thai food in a chill, relaxed atmosphere. Having dined in two times and ordering take out once before, I can confidently say that every item I've tried has been pretty delicious. My go to is the Drunken Noodles with Beef with the spiciness dialed up to a respectable medium. On our last visit it came out piping home and had a nice kick of spice. A frozen pina colada pairs well it. I highly recommended the cocktails. My aunt really liked her margarita and I hasn't strayed from the pina colada since it's served me so deliciously well. The pork chop is a solid option too as well as the seafood Pad Thai which comes with a mountain of goodness (fried filet of sole) stack on top. You can't go wrong here. The value and service is excellent. I love having such an amazing dining option so close to the park.

I live around the Flatbush area and my go to for Thai is Amy Thai Bistro. I'm a regular when it comes to take out but decided to take my bf here for a dinner to celebrate the new year. I got my usual drunken noodle with chicken which was spicy in the best way and very flavorful. He got the duck panang avocado and when I tried it the duck was just right with crispy skin and the sauce was sweet and amazing. Service was great as usual and staff accommodated us in every way possible. Ambience definitely is chill with Brooklyn locals but also a good date night spot for a good price. Highly recommend :)

We had amy thai for delivery. Instructions were followed and food came in a reasonable amount of time but something about the pad see ew didnt feel right to me. Maybe the extra steam from the veggies or the sauce, it was a bit wet. I like them dry. Never the less tho the food was good. The drinks were exceptionally good for me i got the mint lemonade. The pumpkin curry puffs were enjoyed by us as well.

We stopped Amy Thai Bistro for a late lunch. They have some really interesting options on their menu - including a crispy duck noodle soup (served in a claypot) and a spicy chicken bamboo dish. The decor was cute with nice little touches on the table. The food was tasty but I was a little disappointed by my dish. Thai pork chop - the pork chop was tasty and the chili sauce it came with elevated the dish! However, the sticky rice it came with felt a little harder than it should have been. We ordered a side of sticky rice that came out steaming hot, whereas my sticky rice with my entree felt a little underwhelming. My friends got the spicy chicken bamboo - which is very spicy. So if you aren't great with spice, here's your warning. The other claypot dishes looked good, but it felt like the claypot was more for the aesthetic than infusing more flavor into the salmon claypot. The crispy duck noodle soup dish was very good and did come in a claypot - although for a soup dish, the claypot was probably more of a serving vessel. Overall a good meal - not the best thai I've had, but they deliver with flavor and good portion size.

I LOVE this place! Let's just say EVERYTHING is good but my fav is the seafood fried rice! A nice piece of fried filet of sole on top with calamari, shrimp and tomatoes. I always have leftovers for lunch, it's a LOT! The mango salad is so fresh and light. That lime dressing is the best!, if you looking for The service is always quick and pleasant. You may be a little off put with the smell when you walk in but if I am not mistaken it is the rice. It's always clean, never had an issue or felt anything was questionable . It's a small space but so welcoming. On-line orders are so easy to pickup and they offer promotions. Normally I take pictures but it looked so good, I ate it too quickly.

The food was tasty. The menu clear. What I didn't notice right away was the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. None the less I enjoyed my meal. The service was kind to let us in before they closed and gave us a heads up of the kitchen closing. Deco was very clean.

Amy's is an excellent choice for dinner in the Prospect/Lefferts area. Service is very friendly and fast. The food is delicious with fragrant flavors that transport your mind right back to Thailand.

A nice place to sit down and enjoy some thai food. The decor is pretty and the seating area is nice. The location is convenient for the B/Q and many bus lines. I really enjoyed the drunken noodles but I've had better, so just 4 stars instead of 5. Definitely try the pumpkin curry puff. Love that dipping sauce it comes with!

Their food is specially prepared. There is a magnificent taste full of flavor. I order the 9 piece wings and it was magical. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family. Got to try out Amy Thai Bistro.

Overall a 3.5/5 for me :"( Rounded up just because it's slightly affordable and close to Prospect Park! Our table ordered: - Tofu Pad Kee Mao - Tofu Pad See Ew - Tofu Basil Fried Rice Didn't taste bad, but I think I was underwhelmed by the flavor profile of the noodles and fried rice. The tofu texture was unfortunately also a miss for us. Definitely not my favorite Thai place in the area unfortunately, but it was a nice place to stop by before a concert.

It's so good to have a solid Thai restaurant that is within walking distance. I have heard good things about Amy Thai prior to finally venturing in but didn't realize that it was right there on Flatbush near Lincoln Road until they removed the scaffolding. The restaurant is small but the service is prompt. I have been here for a full three course meal and also just to binge on appetizers. The food is good and the drinks are strong. I always get their Golden Calamari but beware it can be too crispy. Additionally, their level of spicy is almost too spicy for someone with a palate seasoned to appreciate spicy, peppery food. The shining star is their Bistro Duck Buns which a well balanced combination of crispy duck, savory tamarind sauce, cucumber garnish on a extremely moist steamed bun. Shoutout to the Chocolate Lava Cake which is a punch of rich chocolate flavor but it's almost criminal that it isn't accompanied by at least one scoop of ice cream. I always enjoy myself and my food when I come here but I wish that all of their Duck entrees weren't $20. Mock Duck is available but it's my thing. Overall I recommend that you check this place out!

Finally tried Amy's out after having heard much about it and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a bowl of tom kha here which was mushroom-forward, creamy and rich. The panang curry was good (although I should've upped the spice on it - I picked the the default medium to play it safe, which was still a solid choice). My friends and I also tried a few cocktails here, all of which were incredibly strong, making them a great deal compared to most other places in the neighborhood. A great experience and I look forward to ordering here again, especially as the online website makes it very easy and is littered with promotions.

My parents were flying cross-country to help me with the move to Brooklyn and I needed a vegan takeout that would satisfy their non-vegan selves. It would be their first meal in my new neighborhood so it had to make a good impression. Amy Thai delivered. GET the mock duck! I'm tempted to order it with everything but it's best with the drunken noodles or the pad broccoli. I'm also a huge fan of their green and Panang curries, the eggplant basil, and the som tam. To be clear, Amy Thai is not a vegan restaurant but does vegan well. Having said this, you have to specify what to omit i.e., no egg, etc; writing vegan is not sufficient. I ran into an issue once and they were quick to correct it. My parents' meal was a home run and now, every time a friend stays with me, I order take out from Amy Thai.

This is atrocious. How do you feel confident as a food establishment to have roaches & burnt food. The service is ok, the ambience is nice. That's what get patrons to keep coming. SMH.

BEWARE!! TIP IS Automatically Applied to your bill (in fine print), and in bold print above right above your signature they ask for you TIP on top of the amount included in you bill! My Son and I ate there and I notice our bill was $34.00 we had two entrees that were $14.00 each plus tax should have been around $30.00. When I pulled out the light on my phone I saw in faint print were they had added a 10% tip. When I called the waitress and ask why is this added to my bill, she tried to shout me down, afraid other guest would hear. Her response was " Oh sometimes it gets business"... ( WHAT!! that's not a reason ) I told her to remove they extra 10% tip and let her know that this is against the law ! I wonder how this works for ToGo orders? Because if they are doing this in the restaurant , you know they are scamming you over the phone. Do the math before you tip, and Check your bill!!

I was up the street at an event when the group of us decided we were ready to go and get something to eat. Since I was not familiar with the area, I googled places near me to eat and this place popped up. I ready like 4 reviews and decided to suggest this place to the other ladies (7 more of us). Since it was so close and would only take a 2-minute walk, I decided to call first and see if they can accommodate my group size since it was super last minute. The young lady that pick up the phone said if I can come this very moment, they can seat us as the pace of the crowd is unpredictable. It was a Sunday after about 6 in the evening. Upon entering the restaurant, we were very happy to see the place almost completely empty.... It did not stay that way at all! It is a small spot, but looks like it gets busy. We were seated promptly and provided a cocktail and food menu for each one of us. We were not able to get separate checks but able to split it amongst the 8 of us. We ordered your drinks after a while being seated. (There was quite a few pick up orders being done). I ordered the Lychee mojito....I WILL SAY THIS... for $9, you get your money' worth and then some. The drink was just strong enough and they were not stingy on the amount. Nothing makes my happier than a restaurant that makes your drink like you do at home...lol quick recap: Service- really good. no complaints here. she was quick, attentive and courteous Ambiance - the spot is small and cozy and seems like a real neighborhood favorite. Food - we ordered so much amongst us...but the standouts based on my intake and other's feedback... I had the green curry and it was delicious... enough heat, flavorful broth, well-cooked veggies...LOVE IT Shrimp and salmon clay pot was stated to be really good. Ordered the pumpkin puff pastry...didnt really care for it. But the Roti Massaman and Thai Chicken Wings were really good. Calamari was good as well. The drunken noodles were stated to be good as well. Overall, NO one was complaining about their drinks or food. Thats a rarity!! This place is definitely worth my 5 stars! If I am ever in the neighborhood or not, I will most definitely be back.

Quick overview: would not recommend if you're looking for tasty or authentic Thai food. The food and drinks were not outright disgusting, but were disappointing and unimpressive. To start, we got the crispy spring rolls and the som tam salad. The spring rolls were indeed crispy and not very seasoned, but tasted better with the sweet chili sauce, which was slightly spicy. The som tam was not bad at all except it wasn't spicy at all. Not even a hint. I didn't have the clay pot salmon, so I can't speak for the taste. But if anyone has had clay pot rice, the whole point and the best part of it is the crispy edges. (I'll fight you if you disagree :P) this dish however clearly is just served in a clay pot, only soft rice to be found. Which to be fair, the description does just say it's served in a clay pot with no mention of it being cooked in the clay pot. But I still thought that was wack. The herbal duck soup noodle was subpar. The duck was not bad though. Crispy and seasoned just enough. A little bit dry. The description says egg noodles, but I got rice noodles. As in the pad Thai kind. And they got pretty soggy and bloated rather quickly sitting in the soup. The soup also was not very flavourful aside from garlic. I guess that's the only 'herb' in the soup. Now the drinks. My dining buddy didn't like her blue margarita, which was recommended by the employee, and got a piña colada instead, which she said was better but still not that great. She also wanted that dragon fruit colada as her first choice, but that unavailable. I got the spicy tamarind margarita, which I was probably most excited for out of everything I ordered. Major disappointment. Not spicy. Not tart. Didn't taste any tamarind. It just tasted very syrupy. So ultimately, the best thing we ordered was probably the spring rolls and som tam but those were still pretty meh. And they didn't serve us water until we asked halfway into our meal. Which honestly wouldn't have been a problem if my drink or soup had been palatable.

Cute place and really delicious Thai food! Great spot to go to after ice skating in Prospect Park! This eggplant basil dish with tofu is from their vegan section of the menu, and it was top notch.

Amy's Thai Bistro is small.. You might drive past and miss it, but it is worth doubling back for. It is clean and quaint. The food is amazing and the drinks are nice and strong. The decor is cute as well. The prices are what you would expect from a Thai restaurant. Whenever you find yourself in Flatbush/Lefferts Garden, please go to Amy's!

Update: I did a little research just now because Ive always been genuinely curious. This place opened yeeeaaaarssssss after the other did. The names are pretty much exactly the same minus one letter, lol. The food menus and even the drinks are almost exactly the same too. However the quality of the food you get here doesn't add up. Weeeeeeird. Meh. I've tried this place out and every time it's pretty average. I'd be interested to know if it was this location that opened first or the other one in the area that I personally prefer. It'd be funny if it's actually the same owners because the names and menus are very similar. However, the food from this restaurant is just okay. I had their fish garlic once with the sauce on the side and didn't like it. The fish just wasn't good. I've had their pad see ew as well. It was okay but the noodles were extremely over cooked and it wasn't a cohesive dish. Would I order again? Maybe..

I had a pretty disappointing experience here. I had a pineapple curry with tofu and a mango margarita. The curry was quite sour and heavily over-seasoned which also made it bitter. The drink was really just a bunch of alcohol with some fruit juice over the top, which wasn't great either. I was rather surprised given how high the other ratings seem to be.

The food here is really, really, really good. Pumpkin dumpling and branzino are my favorite. Their imitation meat isn't my favorite, I recommend skipping that for vegetables or tofu instead. The ambiance is a little clinical, cold and seating is tight.
