The 23 Best Restaurants In Providence - Providence - The Infatuation

"Amy’s makes one of our favorite breakfast sandwiches in the state: the Hash it Out. It’s got egg, cheddar, a crispy hash brown, and spicy aioli, all squished inside a sweet, Portuguese bolo bun. Pair it with an iced dirty chai to lift the spirits as you navigate the throngs of college students milling about Wickenden Street (the cafe is at the epicenter of RISD and Brown). Make sure to order ahead: the wait time can be upwards of an hour, especially on weekends." - grace kelly

Amy's Place - Review - India Point - Providence - The Infatuation

"Amy’s is within walking (or biking) distance from downtown, and it’s worth the scenic jaunt over the pedestrian bridge to get a breakfast sandwich and a smoothie or coffee to fuel your day. In our search for the best breakfast sandwich in the state, Amy’s is a top contender with the Hash it Out: it’s got egg, cheddar, a crispy hash brown, spicy aioli, and most importantly, it’s got a sweet, Portuguese bolo bun holding it all together. Clutch a dirty chai in your other hand as you devour it, and we promise you you’ll have a great day. Just know the line gets long, so you might want to order ahead." - Grace Kelly

I love this place!! I came here years ago on a trip and came every day of that trip, and I got to go back yesterday and ordered the same things! I love the iced dirty chai and the Sunday sandwich, they’re so sweet here and let me know how they make the dirty iced chai and I’m soo excited to make it cause this is one of my favorite drinks of allll time

Delicious smoothies! Highly recommend arriving early in the morning, especially on a Sunday. Filled with college students and locals. Unfortunately it was a 50 min wait for takeout at 11 am on a Sunday. However, the sandwiches look amazing and we hope to be back!

Easily one of the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious! Only downside is that this place is so popular and so the wait is a bit long but worth it!

I love this place! The service was fast even on a busy Sunday morning and the matcha smoothie was so creamy and delicious! I got the sausage egg and cheese on sourdough and my bf got the Hash up he couldn't stop thinking about the sandwich all day that's how much he loved it! Great place we will be back!

Came here for a classic Sunday breakfast. Everything on the menu looks amazing but I was a little hungrier than usual. So I got the legend burger and it was filling and delicious. With the perfectly crispy fries and the mango mania smooth, I was satiated. I really like how the burger had sweet and savory flavors instead of it being just salty the hash brown and runny egg inside made it the ultimate breakfast burger. I also tried the chive on sandwich with sausage and the two eggs inside were nicely scrambled with chives. But I liked the burger better. Overall, it was a great Sunday morning brunch after a night out. I would suggest you get there early because the wait times take about 30-60 mins. Or order ahead and pick up.

Come early!! Because parking is crazy! My friends' and I came for a 8am breakfast on Saturday morning and the restaurant was ALREADY full. There is very limited space but absolutely worth the wait! Food was 10/10 delicious. We got a little of everything and couldn't decide what was better, the pancakes or the egg sandwiches. You'll just have to get both next time you visit. ;D

The Vermonster was awesome, I got it on sourdough(I think), rather than a wrap. They also had Gluten Free bread for my partner, which is always an awesome surprise! Great breakfast sandwiches! They did take about 20 minutes for 2, but it was 90 degrees and they were jam packed. I’ll be back for sure my next time through Providence!
