Seattle Restaurant and Bar Openings to Know for November 2025 | Eater Seattle

"Taking over the Thai of Wedgewood space on 35th Avenue Northeast, this Vietnamese restaurant shares a name with An Nam Pho in Roosevelt, but ownership has changed and the two identically named restaurants in Northeast Seattle now have nothing to do with each other." - Harry Cheadle

An Nam Pho - Review - Wedgwood - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Wedgewood is the new home to An Nam Pho’s second location. The menu is identical to what’s offered at their already popular first location in Roosevelt, withbánh mì, phở, bubble tea, and more." - Kayla Sager-Riley

I’m so happy An Nam Pho came to the Wedgwood neighborhood! We’d always order pho from them on Roosevelt to pick up during COVID, so this place has a place in our hearts!! The Roosevelt location was getting very difficult to park at so this location is much easier and closer. Their bowl of pho is just so comforting. To be honest, it’s not the greatest pho I’ve tasted; but it’s still VERY good and the place is just so welcoming and friendly. Service is always impeccable!! And the new location is very bright and spacious. And not to mention the good value!! They have a pretty wide variety of menu items and it’s all at such a great price.

Great to have a Vietnamese restaurant in the Wedgwood neighborhood. Great value, huge menu, open for lunch and dinner, plenty of seating and friendly staff. Our first time here and we will definitely be back. The vermicelli bowl was excellent, spicy beef broth pho with meatballs, and the banh mi sandwich (super affordably priced between $6.95-$7.95) were the highlights during our lunch. Lots of vegetarian options too.

We had such a great experience here! The pho was incredibly delicious—rich broth, fresh toppings, and generous portions, all at a really good price. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Definitely one of the best pho spots I’ve tried, and I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Google
So so good! I got the tofu and vegetable pho with chicken broth to go and it was delicious. I’m very happy they opened up in the Wedgwood neighborhood. I will definitely be going there regularly!

This place is the only Vietnamese restaurant in a 2 mile radius and so there’s not much to compare it to, but since it’s very close to where I am lately, I’ve gotten food from here. The food on the other hand is very mediocre and not so tasty, but I will say their Banh Mi is better than Mr Luu’s so that’s some points there. I’d get food from here over Mr Luu’s any day, but that’s not saying their food is great either. The Banh Mi is too bready with not enough filling and makes you do a double take to check to see if they actually put meat and veggies in there. Add more meat and veggies and change my mind. Left me hungry still after eating just one. Of course I’m comparing to ones you get from the International District, but why not? I also got some rice dishes and the portions are very small for the amount you pay for. When I got my food, it felt like I got someone’s leftovers because there was so little food. Anyway price is good, but the amount of food you get is so little. Service is so so too, they sure prioritize take out orders over dine in customers, it took almost 20 minutes to get my Pho. The place is clean but the arrangement doesn’t seem very well done. The section where the make their fake bubble tea (boba) is in the front and when they make it the noise is so loud it take away from the atmosphere (fake as in they use powder for flavor). Also parking is terrible because it’s all street parking and from observations over weeks, I noticed the owner takes up one spot on the street for their car, which is kind of selfish when parking is already difficult for customers.

Google
Great local place to get Vietnamese food. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a pretty full menu. We had the pho, fresh shrimp spring rolls and deep fried spring rolls. They were all very tasty. They offer the option of different broths for the Pho, which is a nice touch that I have not seen at other Vietnamese restaurants. They also have several bottles beers and soda.

Yelp
Love that the atmosphere is bright and airy! There are windows to gaze out. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was sautéed, so my bad, I was thinking it would be grilled. Next time, I'll stick with Vietnamese dishes. The fried rolls was excellent. Staff are very nice.

Yelp
I was eager to see what had replaced our beloved Thai Wedgwood. I stopped by today and had the pho and got some spring rolls to go. Unfortunately, the pho broth was too salty and lacked flavor and depth. It seemed more like bland chicken broth. I couldn't taste any star anise or depth of flavor from pork or chicken stock. There was about half the meat I normally expect. The spring rolls had a dipping sauce with a really odd taste. I couldn't tell what was in it. I'm normally a greedy bastard who eats anything, but I ended up throwing the rest of the roll and sauce away. Yuk.

Yelp
We were excited to try this new spot but our experience fell short. Unfortunately, the pho lwas diluted and lacked depth and flavor. If you enjoy icy cold water with your hot soup, you will get it here as glasses were primarily filled with ice. Note: the rewards card from the Roosevelt location is not honored here. Underwhelming experience and will drive further for better pho.

Yelp
Par Thai as flavorful as most other Thai places I've gone to. Not spicy either. Maybe the noodles they used just weren't as good, not sure.

Yelp
Got take out Beef Pho and prawn spring rolls. Very yummy, beef was fresh and lots of veggies for topping! Will come back! They were so busy they couldn't make my order immediately but they called me 30 minutes later to tell me to come pick up my order.

Yelp
Disappointing- bland and tasteless broth. Better pho places elsewhere, save your money and drive out a little further from Wedgwood for a better experience.

Yelp
Not really impressed with the pho. Broth doesn't have much flavor and the Thai tea tastes like pepto.

Yelp
We are so happy to have An Nam Pho in the neighborhood! It's a bright, comfortable space and the staff were friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my pho and fresh rolls. I haven't tried the sandwich yet but have heard it's quite good as well. We will be back!

Yelp
This is my favorite spot! I always start with their special fresh rolls, sooo fresh, and the sauce pairs perfectly. The pho is consistently delicious, which is exactly what I look forward to every time. I also love their bò cuốn lá lốt, so flavorful! Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants, and the staff is consistently warm and friendly. Absolutely worth a visit!

Yelp
Ive been waiting for this restaurant to open for a while now and i was so excited to see that it finally did. It's clean and the staff are very friendly. The food is pretty good. The take-out portions, however, are sad. I get that the cost of business is high in Seattle but if people are left hungry after finishing their meal then it doesn't bode well. People still need to get decent value for take out food. This review is written after one experience and I will amend after I visit again. I really, really, really hope this restaurant can succeed and thrive since there aren't that many options in the neighborhood.
