This place is the only Vietnamese restaurant in a 2 mile radius and so there’s not much to compare it to, but since it’s very close to where I am lately, I’ve gotten food from here.
The food on the other hand is very mediocre and not so tasty, but I will say their Banh Mi is better than Mr Luu’s so that’s some points there. I’d get food from here over Mr Luu’s any day, but that’s not saying their food is great either.
The Banh Mi is too bready with not enough filling and makes you do a double take to check to see if they actually put meat and veggies in there. Add more meat and veggies and change my mind. Left me hungry still after eating just one. Of course I’m comparing to ones you get from the International District, but why not? I also got some rice dishes and the portions are very small for the amount you pay for. When I got my food, it felt like I got someone’s leftovers because there was so little food. Anyway price is good, but the amount of food you get is so little.
Service is so so too, they sure prioritize take out orders over dine in customers, it took almost 20 minutes to get my Pho.
The place is clean but the arrangement doesn’t seem very well done. The section where the make their fake bubble tea (boba) is in the front and when they make it the noise is so loud it take away from the atmosphere (fake as in they use powder for flavor).
Also parking is terrible because it’s all street parking and from observations over weeks, I noticed the owner takes up one spot on the street for their car, which is kind of selfish when parking is already difficult for customers.
