"Anaïs is a where someone who can perfectly pronounce saucisson will pour you a glass of chilled red on tap. It’s clear that these people, who are also behind and , know a thing or two about wine bar design: there’s floor-to-ceiling windows, a marble bar, ample date spots, and a corner table in the window where you can eat anchovies and gossip. You’ll find their mostly French bottle selection displayed on a large bookshelf alongside early edition feminist erotica, because this natural wine bar isn’t like the other natural wine bars—it sells books, too. Buy a book, snack on pleasantly seedy sourdough, and listen to a couple reflecting on a strenuous day of brownstone shopping in Boerum Hill." - Willa Moore

Friendly and fun neighborhood wine bar. Love the wine selection and pricing is reasonable. On the feedback side: It is a sea of people with laptops for most the day. Be good to tamp that down a good bit. I have to believe the business model is to not have people come to a wine bar, order a single coffee and take a table for hours on end.

Glad to see this new spot in the neighborhood. It’s a beautiful space, small but very cozy, and the wine is really good. They don’t have much food, just small snacks and small bites, but you should expect much from a wine bar. The acoustics need a little work because you end up yelling when the place is really full, but overall a fun and great experience. I’d definitely be back!

Lo and behold, the attached image of the $20 dollar cheeseboard. Chunks and boulders of simple cheeses. To eat those pieces without a single piece of bread would be debilitating for the senses. For $20, the plate of simple Costco cheeses couldn’t even come with any bread… if you’re going to serve cheese without any sort of bread base to dilute the taste and texture, at least slice it thinner so that it’s more palatable. If I wanted to eat cheddar like that, I might as well buy Cheez-Its. The only good part was the honey with honeycomb. But even then they were skimpier about it than Victoria’s Secret underwear. Atmosphere is loud if that’s what you like. Service was ok. Didn’t feel much care in the communication. Wine serving was poured straight up without allowing a taste test. Not that I know a thing about wine, but I would know if I liked something enough to warrant consuming a larger volume of it. Anyways, I do not digress. 3 stars only. I would go lower had the waitress not realized the folly of the cheeseboard and gave 3 slices of bread they were guarding with their lives. Plot twist, bread wasn’t even that great…

I was on the wait list for their Perfect Pairing event. So, so glad I did not make the list. My 2 friends did anttend and they were charged $44 for 2 glasses of wine, including tax and $6 for tip. What a shame!!!!

Love this place. It’s on one of the best corners to sit and do nothing. Excellent place to sip coffee in the morning. And meet with friends over wine at dusk. Good selection of wines. Good prices. I like that they have tinned fish. And the staff have always been nice.

Every time I go to an Oberon Group establishment, I feel like I'm being punked. It's like they purposefully hire people who hate customer service and then charge you $$$ for the privilege of being ignored. The pros: the vibe (as with all Oberon Group places) is great, and the meats and cheeses were undeniably delicious The cons: - The service is not great - like everyone that works there seems to think that they're too cool to be waiting tables. - For $20+ for a plate of cheese and $20+ for a plate of meat, you'd think you'd get some bread. Nope. We had to order the $8 sourdough that came with one slice of bread per person (4). - The server didn't bring any small plates and never came back to check on us so we ended up eating our $50 meat and cheese on our napkins! Finally, we took like less than 30 seconds to find our wallet and by the server's attitude you'd think that we took an hour. Honestly, the whole thing just feels like arrogance on the part of the Oberon Group, like they think we're all idiots who will pay $18 for a glass of wine, eat $20 breadless cheese off a napkin and still tip 20%. But I won't be back to Anais or any other Oberon Group establishment any time soon.

Atmosphere is great - but the combination of prices, think $16 for a VERY small glass of wine on a bottle that retails at $33 is a bit excessive. On top of that, the servers act like they are better than you… the only thing worth it for me was the street ambiance on one of the first cool evenings of the end of summer. We spent over $70 each without eating anything more than the bread along with 3 glasses of wine each.

Delightful little neighborhood place. Definitely gets busy and loud, but the servers were friendly and knowledgeable. My friend and I tried their two orange wine-by-the-glass offerings; I had the Lirondo and it tasted a bit like a cider! Very good.

Yelp
Lovely, neighborhood wine bar. Cute, corner location with a great vibe. I could spend all day at this place.
