Anantara Medjumbe Island Resort

Medjumbe resort wisely managed by Anna is the most beautiful place for sophisticated and demanding travelers. Surrounded by Incredible clear water, the islands is characterized by strong tides which make the day always different. I am sea addicted coming from the Mediterranean Sea of Italy, and I can guarantee that the sea of this island is astonishing!The service is amazing as there are only 13 rooms all ocean front on the beach. We have been there this year and plan to go back as soon as possible! The place is so charming and exciting that I even decided to get married on the island and ... they organized the wedding for me!. Thank you Anna, so professional and caretaking!

Medjumbe is a paradise on earth, We could'n gave picked a better option for our Honeymoon.||The room facing the beach is amazing and the small pool is a very pleasent plus.||All the staff is incredibly nice and we were definitly treated like kings. ||Fernando and Ana are supper hosts and granted us with a personal photo shoot of my "trash the dress" that I will treasure for ever.||The food is amazing. Lobster at breakfeast every day in something that we can only dream!||The SPa is also amazinh and we were delicted with our hot stones massage after a day of intense and marvellous diving.||Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.||We will be definitly go back to the island.||Even though its a perfect location for a honey moon, I think a family experience should be pleasent too, given the many amount of activities that can be done on the island.||See you next time!!!

First weekend there was a bit of rain but afterwards it was perfectly sunny skies the entire rest of the trip. The staff is completely professional yet very personable I need help me to order a new pair of glasses nearby using a puddle jumper. Perfect place to get away from everything and maybe get a little bit of work done

Wow! Anantara medjumbe , what a paradise on earth.|We had the luck to experience an absolutely amazing honeymoon, from the time we arrived till we left, we always felt like we belonged there, the staff was amazing, always friendly and willing to make us feel at home; the food, wow, everyday we had something different over the week we stayed, and the famous feitiçeiro(the chef) always served a meal beyond our expectations. The taste, the appearance.||I really loved going fishing and was lucky to see over 30 dolphins around the boat.|During a pandemic, you really forget the horrible things happening around the world.||There really are no words to describe how amazing anantara medjumbe is, we had the luck to be served by the butler abdul and he really made us wish we stayed longer. Its been more than a month since we left and we really miss this gem.||Unfortunately not many people know this place and i really hope they advertise more so more people put this on their bucket list.||I have been around many 5 star hotels and resorts, and medjumbe is miles better than any of them. The views, the comfort, the uniqueness of sleeping at quissanga island.everything was so perfect. It really is worth it.|||Thank you Anantara Medjumbe for an unforgettable honeymoon.

My fiancée and I stayed 4 nights at Anantara Medjumbe and wished we had stayed longer. The island is an absolute paradise and the staff are so warm and welcoming. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate during our stay and we had overcast skies for the majority of the time, but the staff did their very best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can’t wait to go back!

Probably the most enchanting atoll in the Indian ocean. The low and high tide make every day a unique experience with different views and colors of the sea, amazing!!!The bungalows are nice and comfortable as well as the main lodge. Meals are served in different location which is so cool, on the contrary there is not that variety and this would have to be improved. In general the price that you pay is justified for the incredible location but not for the service and the food.

There are no words to describe the wonderful moment we spent, everything was so good and incredibly unique. I would love to visit Medjumbe Resort again, its a paradise in the Eart, a dream destination for a perfect gateway! The lighthouse is part of Medjumbe's beauty, please lets do our best to preserve it.

Medjumbe is a jewel in the Quirimbas. Fabulous food, accommodation, staff, location. This is a place for romance and relaxation. We did not have great weather, though we knew this was not the best season when we did the booking, but we still found the place wonderful. I can not recommend it highly enough.
