This latest resort from Anantara is on its own private island in an insanely gorgeous archipelago off the northern coast of Mozambique (facing the world's fourth-biggest island, Madagascar). Get me there now! The island is one kilometer long and 300 meters wide... just enough to allow 45-minute flights from Pemba Airport (reached via Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, or Nairobi). It's a schlepp, but so worth it for solitary footprints in the sand."
