Our stay at Anantara was truly memorable, not only because of the beautiful setting but also because of the exceptional staff who looked after us.||||Kasun made communication effortless by providing us with the business WhatsApp number - a thoughtful personal touch that helped us feel more connected with the hotel. Suresh took care of us during breakfast and dinner, always checking in to ensure the whole family was comfortable and satisfied. Chamod, though young, was very kind and attentive, making sure our children and parents were happy at the restaurant. At Il Mare, Dinuka delivered wonderful service. His professionalism and enthusiasm stood out, and we believe he has a very bright future ahead.||||The rooms were excellent - fresh, inviting, and beautifully styled. Everything looked and felt new, and all amenities worked perfectly. We especially enjoyed creating our own ambience on the balcony with the traditional lamp and mosquito coil, which gave my wife and me the chance to enjoy a quiet coffee together. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms stylishly designed.||||The beachside setting was stunning, and the pool was ideal for both children and adults. It was a pleasure to relax as a family and enjoy the thoughtful design and atmosphere throughout the resort.||||Coming from Australia, we highly recommend Anantara to families looking for a holiday that blends luxury with genuine care. The dedication of staff like Kasun, Suresh, Chamod, and Dinuka deserves recognition, not only for their excellent service but also for showcasing the warmth and hospitality that Sri Lanka is known for.

We celebrated our anniversary at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort and it was simply unforgettable! The resort is a true paradise — lush greenery, the ocean right at your doorstep, and plenty of nature with peacocks and monkeys adding to the charm. The restaurants were excellent, the spa was so relaxing, and the overall atmosphere felt peaceful and luxurious. A special thank you to Mudith, Chef Mohammed, Chef Pathum, Sameera, Dileep, Sanju, Ishara, Thisari, and Tennakoon for making our stay extra special with their care and attention. At the same time, we want to sincerely appreciate all the other staff members who always greeted us with a smile and provided such warm hospitality throughout our stay. This is a resort where every detail is looked after and every staff member truly cares. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of nature, relaxation, and world-class service!

It has been such a calming stay. Each staff we encountered were genuine and warm. I want to say thank you to your Yoga guru who has been so generous to share his knowledge and wisdom with me about meditation. Our room host Thirsari has been attentive and patience and always there when we needed help. Housekeeping and night room service has done a phenomenal job and has attention to details. We recently visited Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle and had an amazing stay. We are from Germany, and we truly enjoyed everything about this beautiful hotel . everything was perfect! A special mention goes to the Italian restaurant and the main restaurant. The Italian restaurant manager, Mr. Niroshan, and the main restaurant manager, Mr. Lakmal, were exceptionally friendly and provided outstanding service. The entire staff at both restaurants were also very kind and helpful. Our host, Ms. Kasthuri, made our stay comfortable and welcoming, and housekeeping staff member Mr. Lalindu took great care of our room. Because of the wonderful hospitality we received especially from Mr. Niroshan and Mr. Lakmal . we definitely want to come back again!

We stayed in an Deluxe Ocean View Room for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon touring around Sri Lanka. All the staff were polite, friendly and exceptional in making our stay special. We had added bonuses given to us because of this being our honeymoon, including a delicious cake! There was a wide variety of food available and the trips on offer were at a very competitive rate (cheaper than our tour operator as it happens). Our host was exceptional in answering our questions and helping us decipher all the 'all inclusive' benefits applicable for us (as initially it was not clear). We experienced the 'Anantara traditional' massage too and having experienced massages all over the world, it was one of the best we had ever had. The surrounding wildlife roaming free also added to the setting in a positive way. We would definitely return to Anantara in the future but at a different time of the year where we could swim in the sea. The resort advised against us doing so because it was too dangerous in September - you could feel the pull of the tide just walking along the shore. It did, however, enable some fantastic photos to be taken of the waves crashing on the rocks.

We stayed one night and it was truly wonderful experience. The welcome was extremely unique. Kasthuri was our room host and she was very helpful during our stay.|We were able to experience all three restaurants they have. Food was really amazing in all three restaurants. Chef Chaminda, Chef Ruwana and their team all ways there to help. Truly personalised service received by well trained staff in all three restaurants and room service. It is a well maintained nature friendly resort with very peaceful environment. There are personalized culinary experiences available with related ambience but we didn't have time to experience those. The departure also a memorable unique experience we had. Highly recommend this hotel for truly unique experience. Thank you

Had an excellent two night stay at this property. Service was top notch from each and every person we encountered - the chain seems to have a great training program! Arrival and departure experiences were pleasantly unique. Food was superb, had a lot of varieties. Rooms were in great condition as well. Would visit again.
