An amazing hotel that rates highly in our expectations. The hotel staff were excellent and very professional. They were always smiling and ready to assist. We were greeted upon arrival by Thisari Navoda who was our customer service advisor throughout our stay. She was exceptional in assisting and advising us during our time at the hotel. A more pleasant person you couldn't hope to meet. We would rate her as 10 out of 10.|The pool staff went out of their way to look after us at the pool and cater for our every need. The Catering was first class and the ambiance wonderful morning and evening.|We cannot fault this hotel, its staff and facilities.

Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort is an absolute gem ! The hotel is simply amazing, one of the best we’ve ever been to. Landscapes and scenery are wonderful, very modern and design is super well thought and chic. Bedrooms have all the facilities we can wish for, the restaurants are great and food there is delicious. The service is one of a kind - rarely experienced such high level and kindness. Special mention to our dear personal room host Thisari Navoda who made our stay stunning. Don’t hesitate a second it’s so worth spending your stay in this wonderful hotel.

Our stay at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we felt a deep connection to nature, surrounded by beautiful views and lush landscaping. The beach was pristine, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Our villa was truly amazing—clean, comfortable, and spacious, equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The resort offers a wide range of activities, from exhilarating boat rides to engaging sports like tennis and badminton, ensuring there's never a dull moment. The main pool is impressively large, perfect for a refreshing swim. One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly visits from peacocks, who seemed to be an integral part of the resort's charm. True to its name, the resort was a peaceful haven, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our return. I don’t even know where to start… Maybe from the check-in — we arrived very late, after 10 PM, as we had to leave our previous hotel earlier, and yet we were warmly welcomed. The room was spotless and offered all the amenities you could think of — towels, bathrobes, soaps, tea, coffee, water — literally everything you might need was there. The breakfast should be rated as “excellent” on Booking, not just “very good” — the variety was incredible! And everything we tasted was simply delicious. I’ll finish with a few words about the staff, although I could write a lot more — the staff is absolutely amazing. Whatever problem you may have, they will definitely help you. The welcome and farewell felt like a beautiful ceremony — such a lovely touch! Thank you, and we wish you to always keep this exceptional level of service!

A hugely enjoyable first time stay at this resort (and Anantara in general).||The location is stunning and the grounds are kept in immaculate condition.||While staying there you will see a huge variety of wildlife, which adds to the feeling of being in a tropical paradise. ||The rooms are of a substantial size with all entry level categories having a view to the beach and sea.||There are areas to relax around both pools and on the beach. While the sea was quite rough, the beach is beautiful with plenty of shady areas and you can also walk over to another beach adjacent.||Particularly liked the Il Mare restaurant, perched on a cliff. A great spot to have a drink as the sun sets too.||Finally. all the staff are incredibly kind and gracious and went a long way to making the stay even more enjoyable.

The issues started as soon as we arrived, our room was not ready…. The lady who escorted us to our room and said she was looking after us for our stay was unless….. she told us we needed to book if we didn’t want to eat in the buffet restaurant … but both restaurants were already fully booked when we try to book about 2 hours later… she could have arranged booking on our arrival ! Sellers on the beach were very pushy and in your face… I know it’s not a private beach but the hotel encouraged them. Even letting them lay out all the huge shells in a stall at the beach entrance. Surely selling huge shells is illegal!?||||I read food and drinks at this place were over priced and they were…. And then they added 4 taxes to the menu price!!!||||The only place to get a drink most of the day is the very noisy, busy pool bar…. With no views….. the views are one of the hotels features… but you can only enjoy after 5 pm if you manage to grab one of a few tables at the Italian restaurant.||||My husband has massages in 5 stars all over the world…This hotel was the dearest he had ever seen… ||Breakfast buffet was good…

Anantara is the living definition of a haven for peace and tranquillity. The moment you enter Anantara you are greeted with a special traditional welcome and are assigned a personal room host. The pool facilities, dining/pool service and room are second to none. Thisari, was our personal room host and we could communicate directly with her via WhatsApp. She was very helpful and very responsive with all our questions and requests. Much like Anantara, Thisari had a warm and welcoming presence. Thank you again for making it such a memorable stay.

wonderful beautiful hotel. hotel service at the highest level, polite and helpful. I felt very taken care of and relaxed. the facility has a beautiful swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, beaches, delicious restaurants and a spa and classes, e.g. yoga. lots of green areas, animals moving freely around the garden. special thanks to Thisari, our caregiver!
