Ancestral Bar

This bar is worth the wait. We just happened to find a table for 6 that was free for 30 minutes before the reservation and they allowed us to sit and order! Fantastic service! The best place to sit outside. Highly recommended- reserve a table!

Authentic Local Charm at Ancestral Bar We had a great experience at Ancestral Bar, a cozy little spot located right next to our hotel in Barcelona. Though the few outdoor tables were already taken—clearly a popular place with locals—we were happy to find seats at the bar inside, where the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the start. The service was truly outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The drink selection was excellent, with a variety of choices to suit every taste. We also tried a few small dishes from their menu, all made with regional ingredients and full of flavor. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. It’s a place where you immediately feel at ease, and we loved the mix of locals and visitors enjoying a relaxed evening. Ancestral Bar is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for authentic food, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe in Barcelona.

Very nice terrace with different beers and cocktails and food. Service was friendly, welcoming and very quick. We tried a beer with passion fruit, I never heard or tried before. The location is great as well. Since the weather was not very good today we couldn’t spend much time but definitely will be back.

A nice bar that catches the eye as you walk along Diagonal, located in a charming square with trees and a fountain. Tables with branded Aperol umbrellas offer shade from the sun. From 5 to 8 pm Aperol is available for €5. They also serve beer, wine, all the classic tapas like patatas bravas (very natural taste), pan amb tomàquet (really delicious), and pulpitos(I love pulpo, but I didn't like it here), croquettes, calamari…

so basically the service was absolutely horrible and rude, the waiter brought us the bill and didn’t even ask if we want something else, since the first moment he was rude, if you are local, it’s fine, but otherwise if you’re a tourist, they will treat you badly, we were really excited for this bar, but it just pissed us off. If i should comment the drinks, aperol was good. But its the staff that makes bar a good bar

Nice little cafe bar. I stayed only for a quick coffee and beer. The coffee was okay and the beer was good. Nice and cozy to sit inside. There are also seats outside on nice and warm days. The staff were friendly enough.

Ideal outdoor cafe w broad craft beer selection, Aperol Spritz and outstanding empanadas. Weiss beer was peach forward. Spinach empanada was perfect. Beef was a bit spicy for me.
