So good! The tapas were excellent, the staff is super sweet and friendly, prices more than fair. Plus very cozy seating options and a great vibe 😍 I could come here every evening tbh

This bar is worth the wait. We just happened to find a table for 6 that was free for 30 minutes before the reservation and they allowed us to sit and order! Fantastic service! The best place to sit outside. Highly recommended- reserve a table!

Amazing place to have really good food and sangria! Joeri is very friendly and recommended us on really good food. The octopus and the artichoke is a mast order! Very good vibe really recommend

Authentic Local Charm at Ancestral Bar We had a great experience at Ancestral Bar, a cozy little spot located right next to our hotel in Barcelona. Though the few outdoor tables were already taken—clearly a popular place with locals—we were happy to find seats at the bar inside, where the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the start. The service was truly outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The drink selection was excellent, with a variety of choices to suit every taste. We also tried a few small dishes from their menu, all made with regional ingredients and full of flavor. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. It’s a place where you immediately feel at ease, and we loved the mix of locals and visitors enjoying a relaxed evening. Ancestral Bar is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for authentic food, great drinks, and a welcoming vibe in Barcelona.

Excellent tapas with good wine for very reasonable prices. Authentic food. They also have a lot of choices for local beers

Very nice terrace with different beers and cocktails and food. Service was friendly, welcoming and very quick. We tried a beer with passion fruit, I never heard or tried before. The location is great as well. Since the weather was not very good today we couldn’t spend much time but definitely will be back.

Perfect place for an afterwork to enjoy a beer and tapas. Also ideal to enjoy an early summer evening with an Aperol Spritz and some local dishes. One of the owner, the French guy, is lovely, always very welcoming and ready to give you food suggestions. Absolutely one of my favourite bar in Barcelona ☺️

Nice little cafe bar. I stayed only for a quick coffee and beer. The coffee was okay and the beer was good. Nice and cozy to sit inside. There are also seats outside on nice and warm days. The staff were friendly enough.
