Delightful little place tucked away off San Pablo, this restaurant sets the standard for what comfort Thai restaurant experience ought to be. It took us a while to be seated, and then served, but the anticipation was worth it. The restaurant was overflowing with the aroma of galangal and lemongrass. It's one of the few restaurants that has an entire vegetarian menu, which made my decisions much harder! The curry puffs are definitely worth it - little Thai samosas that melt in your mouth. I wish it came with a chutney or a sauce, but they held their own. We got the tempura fried yam and taro root and they didn't disappoint either. The little side salad with cucumbers and onions in a sweet sauce was top notch! The lemongrass aroma was so overpowering I had to get the Tom Yum soup. It was good, not great. Somehow the taste didn't live up to the aroma. We got the tofu in sweet peanut sauce and it was decadent! I don't remember the last time I had a Thai dish so well balanced - sweet and just spicy enough to feel the burn. At this point I was too stuffed and even though the dessert menu looked interesting, I had to skip it.

I have been here many times trying new dishes because everything is authentic. Everything I have eaten here, I have also eaten in Thailand many times; each dish is so delicious and it takes me right back to Thailand with every bite.

Google
Small and cosy restaurant, hardly noticeable from the street. Large menu, with plenty of vegetarian options. Rather sophisticated and with good products. But the cursor was way too high on the sweet side for us.

Anchalee is hands-down my favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is always consistently amazing — every single visit delivers the same great flavors I’ve come to love. The staff are warm, friendly, and make you feel right at home. Plus, there’s easy, free street parking. My favorite dishes? The crab fried rice is a standout — generously topped with sweet, tender crab meat, and the sauce makes it sing. The Penang curry bursts with flavor, with beef that’s melt-in-your-mouth tender. The curry puffs are dangerously good: the crust is so flaky I could easily eat three in a row. The seafood hot plate is always fresh and loaded with generous portions of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. And to end on a sweet note, the mango sticky rice paired with coconut ice cream is pure perfection. Anchalee is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so grateful it’s right here in Berkeley.

We both try the same Manu but a bit different with regular menu and Vegetarian menu we order Papaya Salad Loas Style and Papaya Salad J Egg Noddle with Yellow Cerry<Kao_Soi> beef and Tufu J. Fried Taro and sweet potatoes. And my favorite drink is Thai Ice tea with 🍋 lemon🤗. And staff are so nice and great service. I recommend Anchalee Thai restaurant for your future ✅️

Google
Nice Thai restaurant near Berkeley University with courteous staff. Staff are Thai. Food was tasty and fresh. Pad Thai noodles came out a little clumped together- it should be served right after its made instead of waiting for all dishes. Large portions. Green curry was good and the Somtam salad was good

Google
This is a nice, cozy, clean, spot in West Berkeley. It has a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. I ordered fried rice, vegetable curry, tempura veggies, and curry puffs. Everything was tasty and well seasoned. The medium heat level was perfectly firey. Staff was friendly, with efficient service and the meal came pretty quickly for freshly prepared food. I will return.

Yelp
Firstly I must say that I love that they have a vegetarian menu! I say thank you to this restaurant for caring about people who make healthy and kind choices. We tried to go to another local Thai restaurant but they were closed that evening, a Tuesday no less. I'm so glad we ended up here, I loved the experience. The ambiance was delightful (serene, cosy, down to earth), the food was incredibly delicious (amazing flavors) and thoughtfully presented, and the service was friendly and attentive. I might go as far as to say this is my new favorite Thai restaurant in Berkeley!

Yelp
We got hungry around 8:30 and looked for a Thai restaurant to go to. We got in well before their 9 o'clock closing time. We were welcomed by friendly people and got a nice table in their lovely, very comfortable dining room. We ordered Pad Thai and halibut green curry. Both dishes were outstanding. Perfectly spiced. Both dishes came out very quickly. My family member has eaten a lot of Pad Thai in Thailand having lived there for three months. He was surprised and delighted by how tasty his dish was. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back soon.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at Anchalee! The servers were very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed the Tapico Sakoo Balls! It takes 10 minutes but flavorful and softly textured exterior. Wish the crispy rice was crispier but the flavor was definitely there! They have a really good price point here! I would highly recommend (especially their appetizers and salads!)

Yelp
Another amazing meal at Anchalee Thai Cuisine. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We especially loved the desert platter with sweet sticky rice, mango and coconut and green tea ice cream

Yelp
To be honest, it's been over a month since we sat down to enjoy this meal. I hadn't posted it because I didn't have the pictures and the receipt in the same place at the same time. It's difficult to reconstruct a menu with just pictures. Our group of eight met at the restaurant for dinner at about 5pm. Everyone was on time, so seating was easy especially since we had reservations. Everyone perused the menu and we each picked one item, making slight adjustments so we had a great variety. The food came out hot when appropriate and everything looked great. Very typical of Thai Cuisine, lots of bright colors to whet the appetite. Most everything was delicious. Personally, I didn't care much for the Gai Yang. While it wasn't as dry as Chicken Breast often can be, it was very plain. On the other hand, I would have been very happy to eat the entire Seafood Hot Plate with a serving of Brown Rice by myself. Service was excellent and we felt well taken care of. I don't have more details on the food to report, but I do remember that we said that we enjoyed our meal enough for a return visit.

Yelp
The food was very good. It was delicious and tasty and we'd come back for it. But the service leaves alot to be desired. We ordered appetizers and some of our group ordered soup and salads as their main entree. The appetizers came and were delicious. But then the salads and soups for half of the table were served. No one cleared the table of the appetizer plates, and immediately, it was clear that the main entries for the others weren't coming soon. So it was extremely awkward as half of the group had there food to eat, and the other half had to wait for quite awhile for theirs to show up. It was a pretty bad dining experience.

Yelp
I love this Thai restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is incredibly delicious. If you haven't tried it definitely check it out.

Yelp
I think new fav Thai spot in East bay! Thai tea slapped (and they accommodated non-dairy milk - which can be rare). Ordered yellow curry with tofu and Praram tofu. Both quite big portions, they came with rice vs needing to buy extra and had realllly good flavors. Of the two, the Praram tofu peanut sauce blew me away. Fantastic.

Yelp
There are a lot of Thai restaurants in Berkeley but Anchalee has been my favorite by a long shot. I wish I was there right now. Beautiful and cozy restaurant with delicious tom kha.

Yelp
Great Thai, the best in the area. Authentic, taste very good, just the right amount of spicy. Owner is very friendly, great service. Love it.

Yelp
My spouse and I came here for lunch because we were in the area and got the following items to share: Curry Puff appetizer (forgot to take a photo) - This was great. It had a flakey crust with tasty filling and was also not spicy. Duck Noodle Soup from their Lunch Special menu - The soup had great flavor. The duck was tender and had no bones, though it did have a tiny bit of (what I believe to be) gristle. The dish had bok choy and bits of celery (I thought the latter was slightly odd, but it didn't impact taste). It came with rice noodles, which I don't prefer, but they still tasted good and had a good texture. Even though we were trying not to have leftovers, the dishes were filling enough that we took two curry puffs home (in my reusable takeout container). ECO NOTES (Dine-In) Dine-In Dishware: Reusable plates and bowls Napkins: Single-use disposable paper napkins (4 panels, which I think is overkill, but I guess it looks better than typical 2-panel napkins). I did notice some tables had a thicker version of these (in other words disposable napkins that almost feel like cloth). Utensils: Metal fork and spoon Water cups: Short reusable glass cups

Yelp
Brief Summary: - Note: we ordered by delivery - Coconut soup was really good! - Meat proteins were slightly dry It was one of those weekends when we ordered delivery and eat at home. We weren't sure on what to eat, so after some discussion we narrowed it down to Thai, and then narrowed it down further to try this one. We ordered a few dishes, some of the regular ones we like to get: Pad See Ew and the pineapple fried rice. The other two were by how it looked in the photos; they looked tempting to try: the coconut soup and the rice paper roll. All the dishes arrived safely without spills. We also didn't need to warm up the dishes; they were still hot. Our favorites were the rice rolls and the coconut soup. This day, the weather was warm, so the rice roll was refreshing and cooling. I also loved the coconut soup a lot. It had a mix of vegetables and mushroom, the texture of the soup was creamy, and there was a nice sour flavor with the creaminess of the coconut. I would say this was my favorite from the others. The least was the fried chicken unfortunately. As mentioned in the quick summary section, the meat proteins were on the dry side. The meat in the coconut soup was better because it was immersed into the broth. The rest were as though the moisture was absorbed out. I loved the flavor though, so the meat's dryness would be the reason why I had to lower the star to four. However, the rest of the meal was very enjoyable, so I would like to visit the restaurant one day and try the dishes there.

Yelp
The food is really good and when you order something spicy they don't hold back. The Thai tea is good and when you order wine they give you a lot. The food gets to your table quickly. There are a lot of cool paintings.

Mike K.

Yelp
Fantastic food with generous portions. We had a soup and the duck. They were both perfectly spiced. I wish the soup was served first: it was served after the duck and wasn't hot by the time we eat it.

Yelp
It was sheer luck that we stopped off at Anchalee for lunch! Because a car pulled out just in front of the restaurant, we decided to pull in to try! The flavors were authentic & service was great. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Totally decent Thai food. Pad see Yu is a local favorite. Ambience is nothing to speak of, but the people who work here are extremely friendly and the service is always kind and prompt. Main courses will run you about $20. Big bonus is that they have an entire vegetarian menu with vegetable and tofu dishes that is really good!

Yelp
Love the mango salad! Cute environment, friendly staff, and great food options! Would recommend.

Lynn L.

Yelp
So Thai food is built around 5 tastes. Unfortunately omelet one dish came even close; the mango salad had all but the bitter. Colorful, light, complex. Delicious. The same could not be said for the very brown and one note pad si ew and basil pork, the latter so salty almost inedible. We will try again as the mango salad was promising but will avoid two of our favorite dishes.

Yelp
My first and only (for now!) experience here was phenomenal. I really adore Thai food but I was reluctant to eat here because I was bored of curries, pan-fried noodles, and fried rice. These dishes can typically be found in almost every Thai restaurant in California and I assumed that these were also the only worthwhile dishes to eat Anchalee. I was so wrong. So wrong. Anchalee was a wonderful eating experience because it also taught me that there is so much more to Thai cuisine than just rice and noodles. During my visit here, I wanted something more refreshing and harder to find elsewhere. My friend and I ordered the Trout with Mango Salad and Crispy Rice Salad. I highly recommend both. Both were so fulfilling and flavorful. The mangoes were perfectly ripe. The trout was cooked to perfection, with barely any bones in it. The crispy rice isn't heavy if you wrap it in a lettuce leaf. Anchalee did well in balancing sweet, sour, and spicy flavors for both dishes. I can only imagine how they prepare their noodles and curries. The ingredients felt fresh and I didn't leave the place with regret or stomach issues. The restaurant's interior is cute and small. Service was standard. The ambiance is pretty relaxing. It is a nice place for a platonic or non-platonic date but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for big groups - maybe call ahead? Regardless, Anchalee's is so worthwhile if you're a Thai and Southeast Asian food fan. Your taste buds won't know what's coming!

Yelp
Best hidden Thai restaurant that I just found out about this year! I celebrated my birthday here earlier in the spring and I was able to reserve a table for 6 with no problem. I was specifically looking for a restaurant that had a lot of vegetarian options for my vegetarian friends and was amazed to find they had so many on their menu. Overall, my experience at this restaurant is superb. The customer service was excellent, friendly servers, and dishes passed out in a timely fashion. Food was excellent. My party ordered a variety of dishes from soups, to salads, to noodle and meat dishes. The portion of the food were huge, quality was definitely delicious! All my friends enjoyed their dishes and had leftovers. I also like the intimacy of this restaurant. It's on the smaller side, though they still had plenty of tables. Though there were a good number of people also having dinner, the noise level of the restaurant was not too loud. It was perfect for my group because we could have conversations and hear each other very well without competing with loud noises or other people's conversations. After my excellent dine in experience, I ordered pickup from the restaurant twice and had a good experience as well.

Yelp
Service was delightful and pleasant. The environment is welcoming and relaxing. And the food is authentic and tasty. By far one of my favorite Thai spots.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food is excellent, the price is right, the interior is comfortable and cute and the service is great!

Yelp
Went on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy initially but filled up as I was leaving. Most tables were 2 or 4 tops so may not be able to easily fit many larger groups. The staff were attentive and friendly. I ordered the Khao Soi with beef. The broth was delicious and it had a filling amount of noodles and beef. There's a crispy noodle topping which helps add texture to it as you're eating. Not your average Thai place. Has a modern elegance to it. Not a big fan of the seating (slightly uncomfortable) so would probably not sit long. Would definitely come back for the food.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has really good Thai food and they got the spice just right for me. I've only gotten take out there so I can't speak for the table service but the staff that handles take out is nice.

Yelp
This Thai spot has been in West Berkeley for at least a decade and I believe owned and operated by the same couple. Consistency is a good thing and not necessarily the hobgoblin of small minds. Who said that anyway? Presumably somebody who makes highly erratic Thai food. But look, I'm not here to name names. I'm here to write about the dependable Thai food that was prepared and delivered by Anchalee. That's the first name of the female half of the ownership. And even in the takeout trays, there was a palpable homestyle vibe to the three dishes that Jamie W. and I ordered for dinner. The two entrees were somewhat interchangeable, the $14.90 Grilled Salmon and the $14.90 Garlic Shrimp, since they both featured their rich garlic lobster sauce. The grilled salmon filet came wrapped in banana leaves and was quite tasty. The side of mixed vegetables were satisfying but a bit on the saucy side (photo: https://bit.ly/3jI3zuS). The garlic shrimp mixed the vegetables more thoroughly and added cauliflower and mushrooms to make the dish more substantial (photo: https://bit.ly/38Iaw8V). That was also good, but I have to say the standout was the $13 Mango Salad as the fresh ingredients blended well together - chunks of mango, cherry tomatoes, mint, onion, chili peppers, and for crunch, cashew nuts. The garlic lime dressing brought it all together (photo: https://bit.ly/2VinE1n). Yes indeed, the consistency of garlic is not the hobgoblin of small minds. Maybe just big appetites. FOOD - 4 stars...homestyle Thai dishes with garlic the common thread AMBIANCE - n/a...haven't been there yet SERVICE - 3.5 stars...packaged good enough though kinda heavy on the sauces TOTAL - 4 stars...Anchalee knows her dishes RELATED - Hungry for Thai food? Here's a collection of places I've tried and reviewed: https://bit.ly/2GPTCYK

Yelp
This plac e is right by my work and everyone had told me it is a little pricy. I gave it a shot and personally felt that for the quality and portion size and kind service it was spot on. I ordered my go to eggplant chicken and their variation was different than I'd ever had before. I loved it. So beautifully presented. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
The food was great. Today, we ordered the new special on the menu called "Crying Tiger and Sakoo Balls" It is so delicious and flavorful. Also, the service is amazing. We will be back more often.

Yelp
I was very pleasantly surprised by this Thai restaurant. They have A LOT on their menu, including MANY vegetarian and gluten free dishes. They also have dishes one doesn't always see at Thai American restaurants. All the food we tried was great. We will definitely return. Bathroom: C+. you have to go through the back ways of the restaurant, which is not pretty, and the bathroom itself was functional but not lovely.

Diane S.

Yelp
Good food...ready on time for pick up. RECOMMEND this Thai restaurant. Food is unique and tasty

Molly M.

Yelp
I usually don't do reviews but: Today I ordered ginger chicken and pineapple fried rice with pork for delivery. I received the rice dish with chicken instead, but well that was okay. The problem was the dishes were bland and not very tasty. There was no hot, spice on Thai food which I found strange. The chicken was unbelievably dry. There was a lime in the fried rice that had already been squeezed to nothing. The rice had a strange texture. Probably the worst Thai food I've had anywhere.
google avatar

Sagruilla P.

Yelp
I am no expert in authenticity of Thai cuisine, but this restaurant has consistently well-prepared and tasty food. Order the samosa-like curry puffs. The pastry is flaky and one of the best things to eat ever. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and I have to admit that we haven't explored the menu much since we like ordering the same noodle dishes each time. I like that you can customize the heat from mild-medium-spicy. When I have eaten in the restaurant, the ambiance is romantic with the lighting, and the food is well-plated. This is a good place for a date or a special dinner with your friend.

Yelp
We love Anchalee! Z. and I have ordered out from here twice and were both so satisfied. Lettuce wrap appetizer: The water chestnuts, ground chicken, and sauce combination was out-of-this-world yummy! We have made lettuce wraps before, and quite enjoy them, but these lettuce wraps were probably among the tastiest I've ever had. Great job Anchalee! Curry puff: It's like a samosa, with a very buttery/rich puff pastry surrounding a sweet curry filling of potato, onion, carrot. There's a sweet/tangy mayo dipping that goes well with the greasy puff. We appreciated the cucumber salad as a palate cleanser. Spicy pork with Eggplant: Pretty good! I love eggplant and this did not disappoint. It definitely has some heat though, so order with caution. Spicy Basil Fried Rice (mild): Somehow the pork didn't really sit well with me. The whole dish was just OK because I didn't like how strong (and somehow not 'clean'-tasting?) the pork was, and it took over most of the dish. Given how good everything else has been though, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here. Z. got the Himapan (mild) and the Pineapple seafood. We both agree that the dishes with the hot chili pepper emojis are S-P-I-C-Y but that the mild versions are too mild for us so that's good that Anchalee has heat levels for many kinds of customers.
google avatar

Craig Y.

Yelp
Best Pad Thai I've had yet! And the yellow curry was pretty good, too. Overall, Anchalee Thai Cuisine is an excellent place to eat with good quantities of food for the price and deep, rich flavors. Just a warning - the hot is actually hot! FOOD: Got the Pad Thai and the Chicken Yellow Curry and enjoyed both. Usually when people ask you what level of spiciness you want, you can guess their "hot" is more of a "mild" heat, but this was next level hot. I was sweating from bite number one. But it was GOOD. I enjoyed the flavors and it had a great amount of chicken. I would have liked more potatoes and less carrots, but otherwise hard to complain. The Pad Thai though was amazing. My only complaint? Wish there was more. Great balance of flavors and textures. Definitely going to get the Pad Thai again! SERVICE: Since we ordered during COVID, hard to say other than by how they packaged everything. They did a great job with that and everything came nice and hot while being kept separate. The Pad Thai is separated into components so you can add the amount of veggies you want to your noodles. COST: It was a tad bit expensive for the amount of Pad Thai you receive but otherwise, can't really complain here either. Had enough for two meals!

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. I'm a bit surprised at the lower rated reviews. If a restaurant is good for its price point, I'm not going to give it less than 4-stars. I'm a regular whose been coming to Anchalee since it opened and have continued to appreciate them as a pick-up option as I no longer do indoor dining due to the ongoing Covid pandemic. I wouldn't put the restaurant in the very top tier but they are firmly right below. My experience is they are a few bucks more than your average mom & pop Thai joints but that it's worth it for the better quality and presentation. Lovely friendly staff, always attentive to my substitutions. They also frequently try out new dishes as specials and adopt those that become popular. Their Crispy Rice Salad is yummy and one of those that wasn't on the regular menu a few years back. One current special is Duck Salad (similar prep to a Beef Salad). Some of my go-tos- Trout with Mango Salad (or just the Mango Salad) Yum Nuer - Beef Salad Pad Ke Mao Seafood Hot Plate Popiah Tom Kha Gai The brown rice is an attractive mix of black & brown rice. I feel lucky to have such a great spot in my neighborhood.

Yelp
Went back after a long day of works since I'm down the street and enjoyed every bite. I got the Wings, Pad See Ew, Nam Kao and Crab Fried Rice with some Thai Teas. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was super savory and amazing! Always a good recommendation. Perfect vibe and food to end the night.

Yelp
My favorite thai for many years. Very fresh and well made large portions. Open for lunch and dinner. Usually no wait. Charm bistro on Piedmont Ave in Oakland is a sister restaurant.

Yelp
From the moment you take your first sip of the Tom Kha coconut milk soup, it makes you feel like you're in Thailand! It's perfectly made and the staff are quite friendly. Great for lunch or dinner out!

Yelp
The food is good but the customer service is even better with a great homey atmosphere, cozy and it takes all of this to make a great place which it is. Eileen

Yelp
This is the best Thai food I have ever had. The flavor of the duck soup is out of this world, and the mango salad was fresh, juicy and vibrant. Our server, Kit, was so nice and hospitable. Don't hesitate to get cozy and eat here!

Yelp
First thing's first. Don't pay attention to these "1 star" reviews. Hating on this place off petty and shit talk, they don't know what they're talking about. But moving forward. Ordered to go this time! Same great taste in each dish and same great quality even taking it to go. Idk what they're doing, but they're doing it well. Pad see ew chicken and pad kee Mao beef to go. Strong in flavors and fresh noodles. Hard to explain how good it is. Just have to go try it for yourself!

Yelp
We must have high standards for beauty and art and all of that so that is why I'm writing this review. We must not accept mediocrity we must not pretend things are really good when they're not. This really annoys me this kind of lack of standards and unawareness of artistic criticism and so on. There is absolute truth and there is true beauty and excellence. I will not be fooled by mediocrity. I am a Critic. I am an artist. And those two things go hand in hand. If you don't have a vision of what greatness is then you will never achieve it or be able to recognize it. I dont like giving bad reviews because I don't like the idea of affecting a business negatively, especially an independently owned local business. So for example if this restaurant replies to my review and exhibits good faith that they will try to improve their food then I will raise my review to three or four stars or edit the content of the review potentially. I'm writing this review because this was very mediocre Thai food. I was a little surprised how not good it was because this place has over four stars on Yelp and is sort of considered one of the better Thai restaurants in Berkeley but based on the pad thai with prawns that I had tonight it is most certainly not worthy of that status. The noodles were so so. Didn't taste particularly fresh. The worst part was they only gave me three prawns! This is unbelievable. To pay extra for prawns because I'm sure the chicken Pad Thai is a couple dollars less and then they only give you three prawns. It's kind of disrespectful almost. Like what you didn't think I would notice you thought I was so stupid I wouldn't notice you only gave me three prawns? What are you kidding me? I needed the protein and you barely gave it to me. I'm 6'3 dude and I'm a male. I can't be eating three prawns and not losing muscle mass or whatever eventually. There was a lot of tofu included in the pad thai as if to make up for the lack of prawns. Like fairly medium to large pieces of tofu so clearly that was supposed to be the remainder of the protein not just blending it in with the noodles for decorative purpose Etc. Overall the flavor of the pad thai was really not very good. Nowhere near anything special whatsoever and overall really just quite mediocre and basically substandard. So anyways yeah this place is really not so good.

Yelp
A rare find: authentic Thai (instead Of American Thai food). Thoughtfully made with pride. This small joint has a large menu of about 60 items! Beautiful presentation, authentic recipes and large portion. 3 times as big as in Thailand, LOL. We ordered just one enter per person and we're stuffed. My only wish is that they can use *a bit less sugar*. As someone who cooks, I can tell my dish easily has 3-4 table spoons of sugar to achieve that sweetness over other flavors (coconut, salt, spice, ginger). 3-4 table spoons of sugar is basically a cake. My acid reflex confirmed that too. Dear wonderful chef, Can you give diners the option of less sugar if sauce is not pre-made? Given about 40% of American adults are diabetic or pre-diabetic? If the amount of sugar can be reduced or optional, I can eat here every week!

Yelp
Anchalee to the rescue! What this place rescued me from was hunger and further disappointment. I ordered pick up from a solid Vietnamese place across the street. I ordered through door dash, which failed to update me that the restaurant was closed for the week. The app texted me the food was ready for pick up, only to arrive and find it was closed for the week. How the order went through is a head scratcher and an unfortunate glitch on their part. Thankfully, I was issued a refund with no questions asked. So I was left in search of other options. Walking down San Pablo, I noticed there weren't a wealth of options apart from fast food and German sausages; neither of which sounded appealing to me. When I was about to give up and drive somewhere else *cue Charlie Brown sad walk*, I spotted Anchalee! What a treasure. You can never go wrong with Thai food. Have you ever had bad Thai food before? I have not! So I sauntered in and ordered off the lunch menu. I decided on the Moo Yang, which was thai bbq pork with rice and a side of ginger soy sauce over steamed bok choy ($13 incl tax). I sat and read while my order was being prepared. It took about 10min for it to be ready, bear in mind this was a weekday afternoon. A small hiccup in my plans ended up leading me to a rather decent place. I loved the grilled bbq pork! I could personally do without the ginger soy sauce because the pork had enough flavor. The pork had a touch of sweet which I loved and it was grilled nicely. Had it not been for door dash's whoopsie, I wouldn't have serendipitously stumbled upon Anchalee. All in all, I was happy about this slight change in plans!

Yelp
I've been ordering the best Thai takeout here! My go to order is: pumpkin curry and pad kee maw-spicy please! People are friendly and there's even an Andes (remember those?!) mint chocolate for you at the end!

Yelp
Some of the best Thai food around. My family often makes to-go orders over the phone and they have never made a mistake with our order and it's always ready in a timely manner. Eating here is also great. They are warm and welcoming and it's always a great vibe.
