"Andaz Wall Street has opened Andaz Kitchen & Bar, an eclectic restaurant with Italian, Caribbean, Asian, and American dishes. At dinner, Jamaican braised oxtail is on the menu alongside chicken adobo from the Philippines and an Italian red snapper dish." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Both the meals I had here were subpar. For breakfast, I had two eggs over easy, toast, and bacon. The toast and butter were cold, and the eggs were both cold and undercooked. They did remake it for me, and it was better the second time around. For lunch I had the steak sandwich. It was mostly okay at first. However, there were pieces of the steak that were not just rare but raw in the middle. I'm talking like gooey red, not juicy pink. At no point do they ask how you want your steak cooked for the sandwich, so I could see this being off-putting for many people. And honestly, I wish I had stopped eating it when I noticed, because that was three days ago and I have been dealing with an unparalleled case of gastroenteritis since. I obviously don't know for sure that was the culprit, but I do know that was the last meal I ate before this illness came over me. Its a shame, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is great, but even if I stay there again I will not eat at the restaurant.

Yelp
The hotel location is great. There are Citi bikes right across the street. There are three coffee shops on the same block, two of which are not Starbucks. There are lots of places to eat nearby and this hotel is close to, within walking distance of WTC and Battery Park to prominent tourists destinations. The hotel is on the east of NY but a quick walk to the west connects to a bike trail that takes you all the way up the coast and is a scenic ride and/or great transportation. The room was comfortable. The shower was large and had a big shower head (high up for tall people too). The shower was spacious as well. The bathroom had both bright and dim lights. The only complaint was the water was very hot - always. The room had outlets in all the right places and automatic blackout shades on the windows. I found the 16th floor to be nice and quiet at night. The light control panel and AC panel was at the bed side which was nice as well. I would stay here again. Wall & Water, which Yelp currently lists as closed, is very much open as of May 2022. However, it is only open for breakfast from 7-11. There is no room service option but you can get to go orders. Breakfast was menu based and my basic brekky of scrambled eggs, sausage and toast and potatoes was very good. The OJ was good as well. Free coffee and tea is available in this area as well from 7 to about 2 it seemed. Once breakfast is over the space is quiet and there is a kind of second lobby of the hotel with some nice seating areas right off the elevators which reminded pretty quiet. Centric Bar & Grill is open for lunch (12-2) and dinner (4-11). I had dinner here twice and enjoyed both times. The bread pudding dessert was great. The salmon was prepared well and was as a whole a great dish sides and all. The chicken linguine was good as well. The kitchen made me a nice side salad that was off the menu as well - it was basically just spinach and tomatoes but was a big serving and had good dressing on it. The bartender was friendly and attentive enough and didn't rush you. I'm not sure if he wasn't the greatest bar tender or if his bar stock was just very limited, but he had a hard time going off the cocktail menu for me and another guest I overheard ordering.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and had an absolutely great stay! Our room was beautiful and in walking distance to do a lot of touristy things. We would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
I came here on the fly with a co-worker for lunch. The place is really cute and quiet. The menu had some really delicious options. I went with the Lasagna Bolognese. I was unimpressed by the presentation and how burnt the top of it was. When we told them that, the host said "I'll have them make a note of it," but nothing came out of it. My biggest issue is when you're serving food, you KNOW when you've burnt it or overcooked it. Rather than trying to perfect the craft, you serve it to the person and hope for the best. Unacceptable. I would never eat here again.

Yelp
I have to admit, Andaz Kitchen & Bar was truly amazing. The entire place certainly had a very cool vibe. Each and every single thing that we have ordered was incredibly fresh and yummy. Service is outstanding and crew very friendly. Will definitely come back here!

Yelp
The Yelp listings for Andaz Wall Street are all over the place. There's the listing for the hotel (http://www.yelp.com/biz/andaz-wall-street-new-york), and there's the listing for the restaurant (http://www.yelp.com/biz/andaz-wall-street-new-york-3). Both are named exactly the same thing on Yelp. So, instead of doing anything to fix the problem, I decided to add to the noise. However, with good reason! In the public courtyard below Andaz Wall Street, they opened up a beer garden. There's a ton of German style wooden benches and tables that are open to the public for lunch or just for lounging around. Off to the side, there's cornhole and giant Jenga, and of course a beer and pretzel vendor. They had three or four beers available - one was Radeberger, which is standard biergarten fare, and another was a tasty grapefruit cider. They were $7 apiece, but they accept credit cards. The guy dispensing the beer (can you even call him a bartender?) was super cool and gave some pretty big samples. Other than that, it's not much of a space. Good for post-work drinks if you work in the area, but that's about it. Oh, and they need a garbage can.

Yelp
Pretty awful and below what I have experienced at any other andaz I have stayed at anywhere in the world. The breakfast buffet is more fit for a motel 6 than an andaz

Yelp
Can't speak to the food here (and also would never order food here -- there are a million places around you that are better for that), but the Andaz beer garden is a nice alternative for a summer post-work drink. For some reason, people always seem to forget about this place, so it never gets too packed even when guys in button down shirts are packed like sardines at the tables on Stone Street. And they serve the same five beers as all the bars on Stone. Also, I appreciate that they are chill and don't kick you out of the tables if you just sit down with your coffee and there aren't too many people around.

Yelp
Ordered the ravioli and lentil soup. Lentil soup was good but definitely was microwaved which is disappointing. The ravioli could of been better. Tasted like it came from a frozen package and then doused in melted butter. Would pass on this place any day of the week. Lots of other great places to go to in the area.

Yelp
Worst N.Y. strip steak. We just arrived the Andaz hotel after a long trip and wanted a quick meal. The steak was so dry; if I were to guess they cooked the steak 3 days before.

Yelp
Hotel is wonderful, my family and I love staying with this branch wherever we can. However, save your money when buying food from the kitchen. Drinks are nice, but food was supremely disappointing. Ordered the lasagne and it was the worst I've had anywhere. Partner ordered the cheesecake and it was a sad comparison of New York's acclaimed cheesecake. Waitress was rude and after clearing our food, disappeared without leaving a cheque, making us ask the bartender for one. Again, great hotel! Go elsewhere when hungry!
