"Andersonville Brewing Co. will close at the end of year after a decade on Clark Street with a new brewery taking over the space. Ravenswood beer maker Urban Renewal will replace it... Andersonville Brewing’s Ashley Wright, who also co-owns burger and drag spot Hamburger Mary’s next door, cited increased competition in the area and ever-increasing rent costs as the reasons for the shutter." - Naomi Waxman

Stopped in for lunch. The food was pretty good. We were the only customers. Two sources of music, and it was super loud. We asked if they could turn it down and they did, which was nice. Chicken Philly, chicken salad sand. Were both good. The mac and cheese was separating so there was a puddle of oil in each bowl. I think they were just looking forward to the weekend sports bar crowd, so lunch isnt really their thing. The service was really nice though.

Is a good place for watching sports games. Has good drink options and food options for vegetarians. Would recommend trying their cheese curds :)

Went here with a group of 7-8 people. It was pretty busy but not jam packed. The food was good, we left full, so top marks there. Our waitress came off as rather short with us, which i understand to a point. She was gracious enough to accomodate our large party but still, even though it's busy you shouldn't be rude to your guests.

We were here for a group brunch from 11-1. Food was not put out until almost 1145. It went quickly and it took another hour to put out the second batch for those who didn’t eat yet. It was not hot and was extremely disappointing. If you know I’m advance that your having a large group you should prepare. This same event happens yearly and last year it was just as bad. The only positive thing I could say about the place is the servers were great and did the best the could.

It's a good, solid neighborhood bar. The beer they brew on site is good, but with all the other options in Chicago I would not go out of my way for it. It's a great mellow place to watch games and the food is very good (Hamburger Mary's!!).

Worst service I've had in my entire life. Spent 3+ hours there for the Bears game, and all the server did was take my food order and bring over 1 beer. Did not bring any water the entire time, did not come back for a 2nd beer order the entire time, did not bus table (I literally had to gather my groups empty plates and bring them up to the bar myself). I'd understand if it was absolutely packed, but there were empty table and other parties were getting noticeably upset as well. DO NOT GO HERE

I decided to try this place after reading about it in an article of the top sports bars in Chicago. Overall, it is a great sports bar and we may return for any other big games in the future if we are in the hood. I got a flight of their home brewed beers and I honestly didn’t care for any of them. They all had a musty after taste however, that may be a purposeful smokiness that I just don’t personally care for. They also seemed watered down. The food was good enough.

Service was non-existent. Had to actually clear our own table and so did the party that was sitting next to us. It wasn’t crowded either, there just didn’t appear to be any wait staff. Never got asked if we wanted water/beer refills. Food was fine but not good enough to warrant a return visit.
