Google
I asked for extra sauce and they drowned the pizza in sauce. There is a such thing as too much! I don't know why but it seems like the love for this place seems to be lost! Like in the love of making good food and having people enjoy the experience.

Andreas Pizza is a local, family owned gem. The pizza and salads are so fresh and good! Andreas has been my local pizza go to for the past 5 years and everything I’ve gotten there I’ve loved. I always do carry out, so I can’t speak to the delivery critiques others have posted. But the in store service and food is great. Pictured: small cheese pizza and wings.

Google
Our favorite pizza place! For years we've been driving 20+ minutes and past many other pizza places to get our favorite! We love their crust and their sauce. Toppings are tasty also. Rarely are we even slightly disappointed. We'll continue to drive here for the best pizza in town, in our opinion!

Google
I have heard really great things about this pizza place from multiple people so my fiancé and i finally decided to check it out! I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the pizza and toppings too, plus the breadsticks were very delicious, fluffy and unique! This is one of our new favorite pizza places and i definitely recommend checking it out!

Google
I asked if they could arrange the pepperoni into a heart shape so that I could surprise my husband with a love pizza on our anniversary and they executed the task perfectly 😂

Google
This is our go-to pizza shop for all things pizza. Whether for new friends, visiting family, or just avoiding making a meal, we eat here. The sauce is amazing and the hand tossed crust is texturally perfect. They have a great variety of toppings to choose from, some interesting pizza selections, and all the standard favorites. They even have gluten free options. The take out and delivery experience is always pleasant. The owners and staff love what they do. There is no better stop than Andrea’s.

Google
Best pizza in town. I have been going there for 40 years.

Google
Ordered from here for the first time during the COVID time period. My pizza was ready really fast, was hot, and tasted great. And, during my short wait, I got to enjoy a rainbow. Perfect😄

Yelp
Great local pizza. They are sometimes late or stubborn on deals but overall it's a quality Za

Yelp
Ordered two subs tonight, two orders of bread sticks delivered. Cost $70 with tip, the subs were lacking the usual in toppings, taste, etc. the Breadsticks were average at best.. if you want to sell value at higher cost, then make sure it's better than it should be. Disappointed to say the least.

Yelp
Best pizza in West Michigan! Have been going here since I was in grade school. Pizza always delicious and friendly service.

Jim B.

Yelp
Ordered Pizza for delivery, told 40 min, hour later we called, were rushed off the phone, by the third time we called the pizzas showed shortly afterwards. Two hours and no apology! Pizza was hot and tasted pretty good, but my Grandkids I was watching were very hungry and out of sorts. If they just leveled and said it got lost or forgotten, I would have reacted differently.

Yelp
One of the most popular local non-chain pizza places, Andrea's Pizza is nestled in the Boston Square neighborhood just outside of East Grand Rapids and always seems to be hopping! My family and I agree that they have some of the best pizza and subs we have ever had. As is the case with most pizza places, that can be such a subjective thing to say... but we have never been disappointed. The variety of pizza sauces and toppings are able to accommodate even the pickiest of eaters , the bread used for the subs and garlic bread (which has a light smattering of sesame seeds) is absolutely delicious, and the cinnamon sticks with icing are always a hit with the kids (and adults too, let's be honest). My only criticism would be that their estimation of when the pizza will be ready is generally off by 15-30 minutes depending on how busy they are. In general, I advise giving this staple of the community some extra grace - particularly during a time where staffing challenges are being experienced across the food service industry and workforce in general. Trust me - your tastebuds will reward your patience!

Yelp
The pizza was great however when your told 45min to pick up and you arrive at the restaurant 50min later they tell you another 15min. They hadn't even started my order. Horrible service.
google avatar

Yelp
They have a mon-weds carry out special. $8.99 for a 1 topping medium pizza. Tasty. Good crust. Nice people. Fast service.

Yelp
Best pizza in Grand Rapids by far! I love pizza. My husband and I travel the country, and I get pizza everywhere I go. I don't think anything is as good as Andreas. Amazing sauce, amazing crust, overload of toppings and great prices. They also always have specials on their website. You cannot go wrong!

Crossbeam O.

Yelp
Best Pizza I've ever had. I live over an hour away and still make the trip often for this pie! Best Ever! Jim N.

Yelp
The Hawaiian was fine, generous portions for decent price. But these six mozzarella sticks were $8?
google avatar

Yelp
Probably my favourite pizza place in Grand Rapids, the cheese pizza and the artichoke are amazing. I recommend you try both, you won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jera M.

Yelp
This is the best pizza joint I have found in GR. Originally from the east side, and very loyal to the OG buddy's location, but this takes the cake. Love their cacciochola pizza! Artichoke, butter garlic sauce, cheese that's it! But soooo delicious. 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
I was excited to try Andreas after someone I know from EGR recommended it and said it was a staple place to go for the best pizza in town. I can honestly say that this was the WORST pizza I have ever had and the only time I have ever called a take out place to complain about my food and write a review about it. I had my food delivered. You could look at it and see that it was cold and sitting for a while. It looked gross, like when you leave pizza out on the counter overnight. On top of that, I ordered it with extra cheese and my family and I couldn't even tell if there was any cheese on it at all!!! The pizza only had toppings on the bottom half of each slice. About 3+ inches of the pieces of pizza had absolutely nothing on it. Is that the standard for pizza there is no cheese, cold bread, and toppings sloppily plopped on the middle? Then I ordered several sides of ranch and they forgot to put it with my order, which is pretty common for take out/delivery places so I wasn't surprised and that is why I checked right away. The delivery guy nicely volunteered to go back and get it for us, but it took a long time. I called the manager about the pizza because it was displeasing. He offered a store credit, but I told him this was my first time ordering from them and that with the pizza I received I probably wouldn't trust trying them again. He didn't sound truly sorry for the experience and kind of sounded like a robot repeating lines he's already said before to others, but maybe he was just having a day. He said he couldn't give me a refund and that I would have to call and get a refund when the owners are there because they are the only ones who can give a refund... what the... how am I supposed to know when to call? I shouldn't have to sit around calling and guessing when the owners will be there for a refund. And the owners don't trust their managers? That's a whole other problem in itself. I went to their website and left them a message in their feedback section. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I would never write a bad review without reaching out to the business first. I never heard from them and I gave them about two months to respond knowing that they are busy during this time. The owners reaching out to me would have probably changed my mind to try them again as I respect local business owners and the hard work they put into running a business. Bad and overpriced pizza, bad customer service, 1 star because the cheesy bread sticks were good and the ranch is good too. Hated writing this review about a locally owned restaurant, but this needed to be said somewhere for the owners to see and understand what happened. Don't offer a customer feedback section on your website if you don't check it or respond to your customers and hire managers you can trust to help run your business!

Yelp
I'm new in the area, and I was looking for pizza that didn't come from a chain. Andreas was awesome. Pizzas were hot, delicious, great amount of garlic. We did pickup so we had no problems with delivery. It was ready in 15 mins. Crust was crispy, not soggy, and great specialty pizza options.

Henry K.

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer of Andreas Pizza for 50 years. My wife and I enjoy their pizza, lasagna, ravioli, and salads. Nothing but the best at Andrea's Pizza.
google avatar

Suzy M.

Yelp
If I could give Andrea's Pizza 10 stars, I would. I LOVE their pizzas!! The spicy garlic is my favorite. In this day and age of order and 20 minutes later you've got a slice of mediocrity in your hand, Andrea's might test one's patience, but it is so worth the wait. The last time I ordered, I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes. The restaurant was very busy and it was a joy watching all the employees moving like a well choreographed ballet. And the smells.....oooo weeee. Mouth watering. Andrea's - I just wish you'd expand your delivery area.....
google avatar

Kristina T.

Yelp
My husband grew up eating here- now we love it too! We will be back every time we are in Michigan! We need a franchise in AZ!
google avatar

Yelp
Their pizza is not too thin and not too thick. It is just right. It reminds me of Vitale's pizza but way better. We've tried their thin crust. It doesn't seem all that much more thin than their regular but it's much more crispy. It's good too. We always order their extra large because it reheats nicely the next day. You can't go wrong. It's classic pizza.
google avatar

Kyle V.

Yelp
I can't comment on the restaurant itself but I tried their pizza at a Grand Rapids Christian high school soccer game. The concession stand advertises Andrea's as the best pizza in GR... which is debatable. It's definitely above average pizza for a high school concession stand for $3 a slice. They knocked the price down to $2 a slice during the second half. They only offered pepperoni but that was perfect to grab 2 slices and finish watching the game. I'll definitely stop by and try some other options.

Yelp
I came home to EGR and stopped by here. It had been about 10 years. My pizza was incredible. The pizza hasn't changed a bit. They used to bring in slices to sell everyday at Ottawa Hills back in the day and it's still as incredible as it was then. I RARELY give 5 stars out but this last order was fantastic. I highly recommend.

Jill Y.

Yelp
Pizza was thin, crispy, and hot! It was actually baked enough unlike a number of pizza joints. Good sauce to bread ratio too! Sauce was flavorful.

Allison W.

Yelp
We've had 2 strikes now. Tonight we ordered and when we got there were told it would be 5 more minutes. We were told this for 2 hours and then were told (we were there that whole time) that our order had been given away. Instead of rectifying it, we were told we could wait another hour. The previous time we were there (about a month ago), almost the exact same thing happened. I waited and waited and then was told they "wrote down the wrong time" when the order came in. I understand mistakes happen and we need to support small businesses, but this is unacceptable. Until they can have even basic customer service or reliability, we will NEVER go back.

Daniel S.

Yelp
My experience seems similar to others on here. We ordered online at 6 pm for delivery. It said it'd be there by 7 and that was about as late as we could go with small children. It arrived at 9! After we called three times, starting at 7:30. It was almost adorable how the kid on the phone kept saying it would be 30 minutes and then on the third call he straight up lied and said the driver had already left, and then he ends up delivering it himself. My wife was mad at 8 and just hopping at 9, and then this - "I am even madder now that it's delicious." So great food. We ordered a cheese pizza for kids and one of the Italian specialty pizzas, breadsticks and dessert. No complaints. Don't order delivery. Don't pay for your food before you get it because you might need to make other plans. My experience does not appear to be unique. I'm picturing one old chef surrounded by the cast of Charles in Charge getting into hi jinx as the orders pile up. At least they weren't rude about it. Still - this was our worst pizza night in a year. That we'd still order again says something about how good the food was.

Yelp
So good!!! simple, classic but very good!!! we got half pepperoni and half cheese, great pie! The sauce is what really makes it!
google avatar

Jamel B.

Yelp
Wow!!!!!! andres pizza is not the same as pre covid. They don't put any topping or cheese on the pizza anymore. All you see is pizza sauce and crust. Have to look very hard to find the toppings. Not to mention the crust was burnt to a crisp and the employee had the nerve to start arguing with me About the quality as if I don't know what I'm looking at. Was a 25+ year customer and had to drive over to villa pizza on south division to get a larger pizza with same toppings for less and this baby is loaded with everything. Outstanding pizza from villa. will never return to Andrea's pizza. The owner really don't ever need to take a day off because it's a different experience when he's on site. Before the staff run your business into the ground from bad reviews you need to make the need correction now!!! It was great food up until the last couple of years. I will spend my 1200.00 a year elsewhere. Don't sound like much but time that by 50 unhappy customers a year. In a couple year you will be out off business. Mark my words.

Eileen G.

Yelp
Don't order delivery from here. Ordered online and called 2x to check status of order. They seemed unaware of my order, was told (very curtly) that "everything was under control" and waited an additional hour. Very poor service over the phone. Never again.
google avatar

Jasmine R.

Yelp
Was one of our favorite places. Awful service. Pizza took over 2 hours to get to our house. Was told it was on the way 2 times then the third call was told it was just coming out of the oven. Spent over $95 and was told I would be credited. There was no owner or manager to speak to. Called to redeem the credit and it was for $10. Sad they lost a good customer.

Jacob G.

Yelp
I never write reviews, but the sub I ordered from them was so bad that I couldn't let it go. I ordered the Italian sub and it was literally just bread soaked with Italian dressing. Do you remember the old Wendy's commercials on where's the meat?? Well, where's the meat Andrea? I definitely know it wasn't on my sub. ABSOLUTELY the worst sub I have ever had from a pizza joint. You can get a better one from subway, and at a better price. When I unwrapped my sandwich, the top and bottom bun were honestly touching one another. I had to lift up the top to see if there was anything on it. I almost thought they messed my order up and gave me a large bread stick. Save your money and eat some rocks instead, you'll be better off for it and 11dollars ahead. Two thumbs down

Yelp
Best pizza in town!! I always eat there when i come to Grand Rapids. Best products and food ever! Polite employees ,very nice with the costumers. Absolutely recommended to eat a very delicious and tasty pizza! I also recommend to try all of the other stuff they can offer, like the garlic bread and the breadstick!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Andrea's Pizza is definitely one of the better places to get a more traditional style pie. While I do prefer the "artisan" type pizzas (think Nantucket or Harmony Brewing Co,) this place definitely satisfies a niche. Quality flour-dusted chewy dough, good sauce and fresh ingredients. Super friendly service every time I've picked up a pizza. I recommend trying a meatball/onion/garlic pie - the best combo I've had from them yet. Also, they have decent coupons online (which you'll need to print off) that make it worth heading off the beaten path into East GR and giving this place a try.
google avatar

Gina A.

Yelp
Andrea's is super close to my house so I get pizza from here rather often. They have really tasty sauce and just make a really good pizza. Delivery is pretty inexpensive as well. They are one of the few places close enough to me to deliver. Great breadsticks too! Recommend calling rather than ordering online. The online system is clunky and auto-sends a confirmation whether Andrea's actually gets the order or not. It's failed me once in that way so I don't use it anymore.

Mike A.

Yelp
I have purchased from Andrea's for 40 years. We easily were spending $1,000 a year on pizza. That ended recently over less than $1.00 worth of mushrooms and being treated poorly by the manager on duty. Left my number for owner to call me. Never heard from him. Mike Alkema

Yelp
Fantastic pizza and service! Exactly what we needed for our Sunday dinner. Went with a large pepperoni bacon and loved every bite.
google avatar

Josh D.

Yelp
Ordered online at 4:50pm for delivery at7:30pm. The order was an hour late so I called and spoke with a manager. When I asked for some kind of compensation I was told "I don't know what to tell you. We got slammed tonight and we did the best we could." Really? You couldn't have called and told me you were running late or knocked a few bucks off the price? Good pizza, terrible management and even worse customer service.
google avatar

Jordan H.

Yelp
Y'all this pizza is unreal good. I've never had anything else from them, but it's my favorite pizza in GR, no doubt about it.
google avatar

Valerie W.

Yelp
RUDE...RUDE...RUDE customer service from female manager!!! Food is not impressive, but then it was cold!! (drivers are always friendly)
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
My (and my family's) favorite local pizza place! I have been getting pizza from them since the 80s and still making great stuff.

Harmin S.

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places in GR. Only thing I wish they did was to do half and half pizzas.

Jenny H.

Yelp
Would have been four stars but we asked for light cheese on pizzas and they came 1/2 deep in it. So the half of the family that could eat it really enjoyed it. Maybe next time they will pay attention to the order and we all can eat. Ordered chicken pesto pizza with artichokes, pepperoni pizza, lasagna, and breadsticks.
google avatar

Jennifer E.

Yelp
Scrumptious pizza! Their dough is tasty and the cheese is sooo good. It's definitely a takeout place, but they do deliver to a limited area. I love their chicken wings, too; never dry and rubbery, always juicy and delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
I will never get over the fact that there are places in Grand Rapids I have never heard of, that are some of the best there is. Such is the case with Andrea's Pizza. "Been there for years", "loving" local following, friends of mine that will tell me "there is none better". All of the above statements turn out to be true. Dear reader....this is a very special pie. When I came in (on a busy Friday night) there were no less than 6 people behind the counter slicing, arranging, kneading, pulling and baking truly hand made pies with "honest to God" better ingredients. I know you hear that all the time... but in this case the cheese IS better, the sausage IS better (they make it) the sauce IS better (they make it) and the dough IS better (ditto). My Pie was a standard pepperoni and sausage. 16.00 for an extra large. Not sure about the comment I read here about it being expensive ....it is not. It is however a better value, in my view, based on the quality. Maybe I can sum it up this way. The first time you go... eat it there. Don't drive home, don't waste time, most of all don't allow the pie to cool. Eat it there to get the full taste of what has been created for you. It is really that good. You will be glad you ate it right out of the oven. WOW!! It is what I plan to do next time and I assure you, there will be a next time....and a next....and a next..........

Heather C.

Yelp
A hidden gem just outside of East Grand Rapids. Delicious pizza. A bit greasy but delicious nonetheless. Reasonable prices. Easy in and out take-out. The online ordering can be glitchy at times but it usually fixes itself! Love the family owned atmosphere!
google avatar

Colin W.

Yelp
I have been a long time customer of Andreas, going back to a kid in the 90s. 5 star review for Rose and Mario for always providing great service and consistency. Always know I will not be disappointed with the food. As long as they are working Andreas will be a go-to spot for me.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Sausage is homemade and good. Meatballs are also homemade but I didn't like them as well. They have gluten free crust and a large variety of topping choices, like sun-dried tomatoes. Toppings are plentiful. I like some other pizza crusts better but it was fine; crispy on bottom. Staff was nice.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
Great pizza and good gf option for pizza. However my online order hadn't even been started when I arrived to pick it up 25 min after I ordered it. Next time will call to order.

Sean B.

Yelp
I loved Andrea's until tonight. The pizza delivery person came around 20 minutes prior to the 45-60 minute timeline given. Normally, this is great, but when you are putting a small child to sleep you need the timeline kept as is. I missed 1 call and returned the call 4 minutes later. The driver said he had been there for like 20 minutes trying to call me, as opposed to the 1 call 4 minutes prior my phone registered. The immature young man proceeded to cuss me out and speak over every explanation I had. Instead of being reasonable and listening he chose to yell at me and cuss me out. I then called his manager to discuss his behavior and was given no help whatsoever. She defended his poor attitude as if it were her son I was complaining about. Awful job tonight Andrea's, you have lost an old customer. Good riddance
google avatar

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Andrea's consistently delivers hot pizza with fresh toppings and good flavors. It's not a great place to eat in; the dining area is very small. They also have a gluten free crust which makes me so very happy; I just developed a gluten sensitivity and I love pizza so being able to have all the delicious toppings at a fairly reasonable price. The pizza is a little expensive, but the toppings are premium and I live at an apartment complex that is literally adjacent to Andrea's, so its convenient, too! As far as the staff being gruff, I have never noticed. Some of the guys working in the kitchen are a little quiet when you buy your pizza, but I always figured they just weren't really chatty or something? Its' not much of a problem if you're just picking something up, anyway.

Logan L.

Yelp
Good pizza but not the greatest service. I just went for the first time and ordered one large pizza at 6:45 for pick-up and they said it would take 15 minutes. Showed up promptly at 7 and waited in my truck for a half hour until I went inside and they were just boxing my pie. Unfortunate and I know these things happen but they kept telling me it would be 5 more minutes. Just tell me straight that you forgot to put in my order next time if there ever is one. Best of luck.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Just called to ask if they could deliver to me. I heard him ask someone in the back if they were still doing deliveries and the voice said something along the lines of "sure" ... he asked for my address in the middle of the pizza order and when I have it to him he asked to put me on hold. He simply put the phone away from his mouth and asked the person in the back again to which the person said "nah." Yeah. One star because they answered the phone?
