Highly recommend. Local simple place Simple place, simple food. 10/10 for the pizza! It was my favorite thing! 10/10 for the salad!! Fantastic cold crispy salad with house dressing. 10/10 for the tiramisu!!! 10/9 for the lasagna! Tho it was very good the taste was better on the pizza. 10/9 spaghetti, I liked the meat sauce a lot more than the mushroom sauce. I highly recommend coming this place if you like good local spots. Local gem. Local people.

We have been going to Andre's since the 70's. Back when they used to be across from the Farmers Market. This is a simple place caffeteria style. Not the best pasta you're going to get. But for the price and amount of food its pretty good. It's simple and good. This was our first time at the new location.

I’ve been coming to Andre’s since the early 2000’s, it is so nostalgic for me and my entire family. I’m begging the owners to please remove their family as the cashiers. They are so rude and intentionally ignore the customers, not even responding to a hello or thank you. The Latino staff is carrying the entirety of the customer service experience on their backs, they for YEARS have been so kind and attentive. I remember all of them as well as the Italian staff, the man on register last night needs to find a different job outside of customer service. Please don’t lose the integrity of your restaurant to your relatives who don’t appreciate what it means to run a successful business and legacy. Everything outside of my interactions with him was exceptional, A picture of the food is attached.

really makes a horrible first impression on Italian food in LA. my favorite meal has now been quite ruined. meat sauce tasted like nothingness, along with the garlic bread too. i fear all these people who gave 5 star reviews have absolutely now taste buds.

Hey there, so i went to eat on a Sunday 8/17 night I was really excited that this place got moved to a bigger spot after a long time. I haven’t been here since. I totally forgot how good the food is! I haven't found any affordable delicious Italian food like this in LA so far. Ive been coming to Andre's for 15 years lol. So are still thinking about going? Just go! Thank me later. The restaurant is family friendly and good for first dates.

I have been going to this place for 25 years. This place does not disappoint. This is where the consistency never dies. The prices are great. The portions are amazing and it’s such a humbling place (whole cafeteria look) so cute used to go to the one on third Street in Fairfax next to Whole Foods unfortunately the Property developer had to sell the local where they were at so they had to unfortunately move but the new place here on Wilshire is delicious. Nothing has changed just the location. Keep it up guys. We’re going on almost 30 years strong that I’ve been visiting you guys and it’s always amazing.🙏🏼💯

My friends and family have been coming to Andre's for 25 years. Over the years, we have always experienced the most delicious food, the best service, and amazing employees. It's truly been a special place for us, full of childhood memories that we are now passing down to our own kids. Unfortunately, today was the first time we've ever had a negative experience. Stephanie G. was loud and rude, and she was the only one who came out to question who was reserving tables. While we were there, we also witnessed her speaking loudly and disrespectfully to minors who were simply waiting for their family at a table. Everyone who knows this place understands that it's always busy that's part of its charm. If someone doesn't like waiting or being in a lively environment, this probably isn't the place for them. People come because they love the entire experience. It's disappointing to encounter behavior like that in a place that means so much to our family. We truly hope this was just an isolated incident, because Andre's has always been a wonderful and memorable experience for us.

The gelato is good. I have tried this place a few times and have really wanted to like the food but I just can't seem to find anything to compliment other than the gelato and atmosphere. The pasta dishes are all very Ragu. The pizza takes forever to come out of the kitchen and is often over-cooked. They are not open for breakfast so don't expect to stop here for morning coffee.

Wow, where are you going to find quality and taste like this for the price?! Been coming here since I was a child when it was located by Kmart. New location, same delicious clean food, lots of meat, gets you full and satisfied every time and still so affordable! This place is a family/community staple. It's good ol' fashion Italian comfort food that feeds the soul and we should be blessed they're still around. You don't come here for something overly fancy, overpriced, and gentrified up the butt by out of town transplants. It's a real & classic Angeleno spot that everyone respects and loves. IYKYK. All these soft and sensitive crybabies complaining about service is just silly and ridiculous. The place is set up like a cafeteria- you walk up with your tray and tell them what you want and that's that... not sure how else they can be of better service.

It was fine. That's kind of the vibe of this place. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing, either. The menu is somewhat generic, but that's okay, sometimes you just want spaghetti and meatballs. Or, in my case, a chicken sandwich. Which was fine. As was the piece of cake I got. It kind of reminded me of a place that your kid really likes because they have a lot of stuff they like, but it's not a place you'd go to on a date night or if the kid was with the grandparents. Or a place you'd go on your own for lunch, but not if you wanted to impress a client or if you had a friend in from out of town. That said, the place is inexpensive, there's a lot of seats, and the staff were very nice.

It looks like Andre's but somethings missing. My boyfriend and I visited this location after learning about it on Friday. I had been going to the old Andre's by the farmer market for over 25 years. We ordered 2 large spaghettis a sausage and a meatball. My guy ordered his with mushroom sauce and I went for my classics half and half, mushroom and meat. As we both dogged in, I couldn't help but think. Is it Andre's? But something's missing. The mushroom sauce smelled normal but tasted off. My beautiful meat sauce was also not the same. It was okay at first but after the second bite? This wasn't Andre's. The interior is different as is the location but it's disorganized and a mess! I'm glad Grandi exists in the valley. We also asked the owner of Andre's if they were connected in someway and were told "Grandi's was opened by a former employee opened it up on their own." We also ordered an order to go before tasting the food, no receipt or number was given. When we went to inquire about the order we were given attitude about not having a number. The lady at the register served us a heaping side of attitude. Yet another reason not to come back. It's named Andre's but the taste is gone. The food is different. They can't even cook their pasta and serve it undercooked. Save the trouble or a bad meal, head to Grandi's! Great staff and great food!

This has been my favorite spaghetti spot since I was in elementary school when they were located next to The Grove. I'm 25 now. I will say the spaghetti noodles were definitely better back before relocation but the meat sauce, garlic bread, salad combo still hits! This new location has a beautiful interior with a lot of sunlight which is nice compared to their last location. However, the service is a lot slower and prices have increased (but still way cheaper than most pasta joints). My biggest complaint is the new noodle texture but maybe that was a one off experience. Either way, definitely check this spot out! My inner child always smiles when I eat here.

Came here for a quick bite. It's a cafeteria style where pasta and salad are pre-made and they just ladle it to a plate. You can have pizza by the slice or whole. They have daily specials. Ordered the chicken parmigiana special. It came with a small spaghetti. You can also opt for raviolis. My friend ordered spaghetti with shrimp and salad. They have hearty servings at reasonable prices. Food is tasty but nothing exceptional. Next time I'll try their pizza. They have a nice dining area with some booth seating.

From a value standpoint this place, this place was great. An old school cafeteria style setup where you grab a tray and order your food.. if it's not readily available, they'll give you a number and bring it out to you. Tasty and you def get your money's worth but not five star fantastic

Andre's used to be hidden next to KMart all throughout my childhood. When I found out it was closed, I was a little sad. Just a little... When my sister told me that they re-opened at a new location, we had to make a visit. So my family took a walk down memory lane to Andre's. The concept is exactly the same. It's technically cafeteria style but serves tasty food... First, make sure you take a look at the menu. Then grab a tray, utensils, and your choice of drink. Walk down to the servers and let them know what you want. I usually get the chicken leg with half spaghetti and half ravioli with meat sauce. Sometimes, I substitute the chicken for meatballs. I also get a salad which comes with a piece of garlic bread. At the end of the line, you'll meet the cashier. Walk to the seating area and enjoy! Although this location is bigger, brighter, and cleaner, I was a little disappointed with the parking situation. Luckily, they have 2-3 handicap parking spaces for FREE. It would be nice for patrons to have free parking instead of paying $2.00 for 90 minute w/ validation. There are other options such as street parking/meter parking. Just make sure you read all the signs.

This is a family staple. We were so excited for this place to re-open. Although there's one in the valley ...the food itself does not taste the same like this one. This new place is so cute and Im so so happy we get to continue to make memories and bring our loved ones here.The food is so nostalgic. Everything taste just the same like the old times/ old location. Parking: $2.00 for 90mins w/ valet OR street parking(read the signs). Service: Quick! Decor: Love that they saved some of their old decor and have incorporated in the new spot.

Great for gelato only. I tried the food and while the portions are ample, the flavors are mediocre.

It isn't the same anymore. Seems to be run by a Private Equity fund. Increased prices from $8 to $10 and now $12 for a small spaghetti. Its crazy! I remember the good ole days (before original was bought out by investors) when it was $6 or a small spaghetti. Flavor is slightly off than the original. Interior vibes are similar but it just feels like a twilight zone dream. It's sad what they did to this place. I heard the original owner opened up shop somewhere else. Won't be coming back to this specific location.

The photo I posted is from Andre's previous location across the street from The Grove. I haven't been to the new location, but look forward to on my next carb heavy meal! I really like Andre's Italian Restaurant! I'm a fan of the classic meatball and spaghetti, it's so flavorful and a great price for the portions! The chicken and salad are tried and true. Staff are friendly and I enjoy the old school Italian vibe the restaurant portrays. Great meal for your next Italian food craving!

Andre's is a restaurant I have enjoyed since childhood. Went in today at the new location and had the half order spaghetti & ravioli, Caesar salad, garlic bread and tiramisu. What a great meal! Small sizes - still took home a good portion. Brought back so many happy memories.

Cafeteria style no hype home style Italian. Good value. No white sauce pastas though. Wait can be a bit long. But overall good casual dining experience

Finally found Andre's! I used to go to Andre's on Third St. Finally, found it on Wilshire. It is more spacious than the old location. Its not as crowded. I miss both Domenic and Aron. But, the menu is the same. Reasonable prices, generous portions. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. I get the small and still take half home. My only complaint is that the food wasn't hot. It was only warm. The garlic bread was limp and not crunchy. The salad was fabulous with the wonderful dressing. I enjoyed the sweet bread with berries. And the gellato topped off a very good meal. I definitely will be going back. There is parking in the back at $2.00 for 90 minutes. I found street parking

I've eaten many times at the original Andres in the Town and Country Shopping Center at 3rd and Fairfax. Now that this has closed after so many years, it was a delight to enjoy going to their new location on Wilshire Blvd. The new place is spacious and well taken care, the food is exactly the same and the prices are very reasonable. There is a decent parking lot in the rear of the building which you can use for a small charge with a validation from the restaurant.

We use to go to this place when it was across from Farmers Market. Love the new location with parking in the back. Food is still delicious. The set up is almost the same but better. We went on Tuesday like the old days for the lamb special .

Food? Awesome. But why three stars? I have been coming here for a long time now, but one thing I experience is how garbage the employees are. Numerous times they would always forget to put an item when you order takeout/delivery. I know this is a family restaurant, but take the time to please hiring some professional employees.

Stopped in due to the high Yelp rating. Was kind of confused on how to order but apparently you grab a plate and ask for whatever looks good, buffet style but not. My son and I got a pretty good amount for only $40. I figured it would be more since they had paid parking. I would def go back if in the area.

Does anyone know if they changed the recipe for their salad dressing? I used to only eat salads for the dressing. I just bought some and it tasted watery and not the same. I am so sad!!

Came in today during memorial weekend around noon and gladly, it was not crowded yet! It's my first time in this new location but the food is still as good as I remember! The place is very nice, clean, and love the mural of Andre's history! Can't wait to go back ! Only issue and to be aware of other customers who are inconsiderate! I witnessed someone who dropped a fork on the floor and placed it back with the clean ones! I couldn't believe it .... I informed one of the workers what just happened and she removed all the stacks .. thank goodness!

We were excited when a red sauce Italian restaurant opened up in our neighborhood. This location used to be an amazing deli, and it's quite beautiful. Interior is very welcoming. The food and service here is just fine.. It's slightly better cafeteria food you would get at the company or college restaurant. It's really geared toward value and families. Think Olive Garden without table service. If I have one recommendation, it's come here for lunch and not dinner.. coming here for dinner is a nightmare of no tables and waiting in line. You're going to get large families taking up tables and when you leave the serve yourself line, you're not going to be able to sit down. The prices are reasonable and the food is acceptable, so something to try if you're very hungry and don't have a lot of cash spend.

After years of waiting, they are open. The sauces, bread ,salad are all the same,wonderful tasty,excellent and the new space shares lots of similarities with the old.They now take credit,debit cards. Come and enjoy the old memories,and create some new ones. Parking in the back is $2.00

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and this place is incredibly nostalgic for me. I was so sad when it closed in 2022. I come here for the delicious, affordable food and the nostalgic vibes. The original location on 3rd Street, across from The Grove/Farmers Market, was a cherished spot. Visiting the new location inside the historic building on Wilshire for the first time was a delightful experience. The interior is spacious with super high ceilings, and I love the painted murals that depict Andres' history in LA. It's wonderful to see this place back in business. - Parking is in the back, and we were charged a $2 on a Tuesday.

Good food, huge portions, excellent prices. I love the steamed salmon - the veggies are steamed perfectly and not seasoned...1/2 and 1/2 ravioli and spaghetti- this is literally 3 meals for me!! I always describe this place as an Italian cafeteria. Service is friendly and fast. The food has always been fresh. Lots of places to sit. Always feels like a big family here!

Awesome flavor with an authentic flare. Portion size was also great. You got to try any of the pasta dishes they are made with love.

I've been a fan of Andre's for a long time and miss the old location on 3rd and Fairfax. I'm very glad they offer delivery. The half and half (spaghetti and cheese ravioli) with meat sauce was just as great as I remember. The workers knew how to pack it and made sure that there was enough sauce throughout in the round plastic take-out container. I also love their unique salad dressing and ordered a pint. I'm putting Andre's back in my rotation.

Miss the old KMart Andres It doesn't quite have that old restaurant feel but the food tastes the same. New restaurant new feel, more spacious and the wall art is nice, for the new people visiting this staples, they can see the history of Andre's. Price is still cheap and portions are excellent. If always craving carbs or cheap dinner. I go to Andre's. I just don't like the early closing hours.

I love the ambiance. I'm rooting for the business to succeed in its new home on Wilshire. The owner was pleasant to talk to. I love that the place has such a long history in LA and the US. I am not a huge fan of their recipes, however. There's a certain flavor sensibility and smell that's not as delicious as other Italian recipes. Now that the family patriarch has passed, perhaps they can experiment with some new techniques.

My husband first introduced me to this restaurant when I moved to La as a date night And it's my favorite ever since We have this all the time and they truly are the best! The owner is so sweet and this family is so kind! They go above and beyond with every aspect My favorite dish is the half and half with spaghetti ravioli and meat sauce The salad is phenomenal as well

I've been going to Andre's for over 40 years! I'm so glad Stephanie reopened the restaurant on Wilshire! I've been going every week and never disappointed! My family, friends, and I live this place.

By far some of the most disgusting Italian food I've ever had. Literally taste like cheap cafeteria food. Their sauce is so watery, and the flavor is not great. It tastes like something that came out of a jar from the grocery store. The lasagna is super greasy, the most inauthentic Italian food I've had in a very long time. I'm giving two stars instead of one just because I feel like this is some people's vibe. But if you're looking for good Italian food, there are dozens within a 2 mile radius of this place.

So glad a family decided to bring back my son's favorite meal since he was 3 years old!!! Great value for a delicious meal!!! Definitely NOT generic italian!!!

In addition to the spaghetti, their Italian sausages, meatballs, and garlic bread are worth trying. For those with a sweet tooth, the tiramisu is a must - it's as authentic as it gets outside of Italy (it's a bit sweeter than what I personally consider "authentic" tiramisu from Italy, but it's close!).

We have been going to Andress since it was by the Grove. There is no one seating people so there is everyone fighting for tables. There's is this rude Lady walking around saying you can't reserve tables, I am here with kids and they sat down there's empty tables but she still insist that we get up even if there is no one fighting for tables. Worst experience I've had at Andress.

Yesterday I ordered delivery, and got chicken in mushroom sauce and meatballs also in mushroom sauce. Both were so bland, like baby food. I wasted $30

Overall the restaurant is pretty good place to gather friends n family. The price went up and you got to pay for the parking, but think about the high inflation.

My co-worker told me about this place and I finally decided to try it. I was craving Italian food. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and my mom had the ravioli and both came with garlic bread . I must say the ravioli was very good. The meat sauce was a bit runny and on the sweet side, overall it was okay and the price was right. The garlic bread was dry and bland. This place is good to get your spaghetti fix and though I did not try the Cesar salad, the salad looked so good. I can honestly say I will return.

I like the new space for Andre's. Happy that this neighborhood institution has reopened and it's busy. I've had the 1/2 and 1/2 with meatballs and Italian sausage. I'm fussy about meatballs but these pass the test. They definitely aren't reinventing the wheel, but it's an environment that feels familiar even if it's your first visit!

Andres Italian on Canoga Park that's being ran by the Original owner is the best. First off they are not generous with the pasta sauce, I was eating plain noodles my last 6 bites. The garlic bread was dry, they do not use the original bread previous to the original location. The rice pudding tasted super artificial. This location sucks. Andres on canoga for more superior

I went to pick up 5large plates with spaghetti to go and the garlic bread but the large plates to go are super small. I'm so disappointed that the plates are so small to go.

Andre's is a nice, neighborhood restaurant. It's comfort food. My kids loved it when we started going years ago at the old location, and they still like it today. We went on a Wednesday evening for a casual dinner. Pizza, red sauce pasta, cheese toast, salad. It was nice to see a restaurant of this size feeding happy customers in the middle of the week. The staff was helpful. The food hit the spot. There's parking behind the restaurant for $2, with validation or street parking, not too far away. It meets my standard of a restaurant we will return to. My eldest says he likes the Tuesday special. So maybe next time, we'll go to Andre's on a Tuesday.

Currently take out only, It is not a dine in restaurant. Food always taste better in restaurant but it was ok.

My family has been eating there (Fairfax/3rd) since the property was similar to The Farmer's Market, which is no longer similar to The Farmer's Market Either. I'm 77 and was DEVASTED TO SEE IT GONE! So now I know where you are on Wilshire. I can't live without that Creole Shrimp YUM Best dinner salad and garlic bread too. Thanks for coming back. New people don't realize it was the best place for seniors (so many in the old neighborhood). A place to hang out, friendly and affordable. If people are complaining about the food, you need to get it back how it was. When I go there, it better be THE BEST like it always was.

I have been waiting a while for their new location to open. As usual, the excitement of going to Andre's at their new place was something I was looking forward to. The upside to this is that they finally take card payments. Yay! The food, although it still tastes the same, it was lukewarm. The food served and sold at their kitchen on Washington Blvd. was way better, and definitely tastier. You would think that they would get a new ice machine...but it's still the same one they had at the old restaurant. Other patrons and I had to wait for someone to figure out how to get the ice that was stuck in the spout, so the ice could come out. Ambience was okay. Much more noisier and that's because it was so busy. But overall okay. Four out of five for the fact that this was at one point a childhood staple of mine. :)

Been coming to this spot for over 20 years. It's an establishment. There's something about their spaghetti that just keeps you coming back. It's a no frills hole joint that just offers the closest thing to home cooking you'll find in LA. Don't expect Al dente pasta or anything fancy. But do make sure to get their legendary spaghetti. They offer 3 sauces - meat, mushroom, and veggie. The best thing to do is get all 3 and mix it together. You won't regret it.

Food and service was very very good. Like the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and I really liked the 1/2 and 1/2 Spaghetti and Ravoli. Chicken Parm was excellent and their sauce/gravy is very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant.

Does anyone know if Diana is gone? Like I don't want to eat and have her bad energy ruin my once so happy experience. Don't get me wrong the food is great but I didn't order a side of rudeness. Get it together Gurl!!

My family and I used to go to the original location all the time for an affordable family dinner. We were very sad when it moved. I finally made it out to the new location and am happy to report the same quality of food and friendly service is still there. Parking was very easy, though it's now $2 instead of free- but you also don't have to fight for a spot like you sometimes did at the old location. The new space is larger, with higher ceilings and doesn't feel as cramped. They've maintained some of the original artwork and have a nice mural around the upper part of the restaurant that illustrates the places history in the city, which is very nice.
