Big, big fan of this place. It’s an intimate, dim-lit setting and the food was delicious. Our server was knowledgeable of the gluten free options and how to accommodate certain menu items. I loved this whole experience. Also, this dessert was the bomb.

I recently dined at this charming Italian restaurant and was impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of rustic elegance. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the tiramisu —decadent, creamy, and beautifully layered with just the right amount of coffee flavor. Each bite was a little piece of heaven! The pasta dishes were also fantastic, with fresh ingredients and rich, bold flavors . The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine! They offered complimentary valet parking.

Everything about this restaurant was absolutely perfect. The food was out of this world! We will definitely be back to try other options on the menu. Thank you for a fabulous time and for going above and beyond with your service and food quality! ❤️❤️ one of my top favorite restaurants to date! You will not be disappointed 😁

Google
Love A+M. Highly recommend starting with a cocktail and then sharing everything you can. Grab a couple small plates, a pasta, and an entree, and split it all. Then, save room for dessert because it won’t disappoint. And on top of that, the service never disappoints.

We recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by its eloquent decor and inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, offering a warm greeting upon our arrival. Our server demonstrated great knowledge and attentiveness throughout the meal, answering any questions we had. The mixed drinks were enjoyable, offering good flavors, but I found them to be on the smaller side. The flavors of the food were delightful, though the serving sizes were a bit underwhelming, particularly considering the prices. The overall experience was marred by the disappointment of spending a considerable amount on the meal, only to find ourselves hungry again shortly afterward. The availability of valet parking is a plus, especially considering the difficulty of finding parking spots in the area. Having a pork allergy significantly limited the available choices, making it challenging to find suitable options on the menu. While we were pleased with the exquisite flavor experience at this restaurant, the likelihood of a return visit is doubtful due to the perceived mismatch between serving sizes and prices.

When I found this place online I was wondering why there were so little pictures of the atmosphere and so many pictures of the food. Now I get it. The food experience was so engulfing that we totally forgot to take photos of the beautiful and cozy setting. We had the Focaccia to start and to was SO good. For main course my wife had the scallop risotto and she loved it. I requested a spicy kick to my Parpadelle and it was a amazing. Perfectly savory meals and deliciously sweet dessert. The chocolate sticky toffee pudding was crazy good. Not overly sweet and deliciously satisfying. We were scraping our plates. And the drinks were perfect. I had the old fashioned and my wife had a dirty martini. Our server was experienced and knew his menu. He was able to give a great description of what the food is like and made the decision process easy. Highly recommend this place.

Andy and Michael’s restaurants have been some of our favorites. Unfortunately our visit tonight didn’t live up to expectations. My wife and I went to WTF to celebrate our 9th anniversary. My third dish (pasta) had a centipede in it. We’re there to enjoy our time together and not create a scene so we politely sent it back. Other than an apology and bringing me a new pasta nothing else was done. For an establishment that has as high of standards as A/M I would’ve expected more from the staff to make this right other than telling us the foraged morels were shipped in from California. Not even a dollar was taken off our more than $300 bill. Unfortunately, we’ll likely not be back.

This restaurant is a true 10/10. Everything we ate was amazing. The Tuna and Cornbread really stood out to me.

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, and I can't say enough good things about my evening there! I've been meaning to visit this spot for quite some time, and I finally made it there with my sorority sister, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, our server Tabitha made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. We kicked off the night with cocktails from their impressive list, and they were absolutely amazing--definitely set the tone for a great evening! We started with the fried mozzarella, which was nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend it! We then enjoyed two pasta dishes: the Carbonara and Rigatoni. Both were rich and delicious, but we were so full that we didn't make it to the main course! The portions are generous, and the bread served with our pasta was equally delightful. The ambience of the restaurant is quaint and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a cozy dinner. Complimentary valet parking was provided, which made our visit even more convenient. Overall, I loved my experience at Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their enticing menu options. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Met a girlfriend there for dinner. Enjoyed a nice meal and lovely wine suggested by a terrific waitress. No complaints. But you can imagine my dismay upon returning to my car which was valet parked only to be told they "couldn't find it". They couldn't find it because it had been stolen. OUT OF THE VALET LOT. The valet called his boss who asked to speak to me and had the nerve to tell me that he was "sorry this happened but we are not responsible". The police weren't even there yet, I was in shock and they are coming for me to deny culpability. The valet admitted that another car had been stolen from the same lot recently (they use several around the restaurant), yet they continued to park cars there with no security and no cameras. So, what has been my favorite restaurant for more than a decade is now somewhere I cannot recommend in good conscience if you can't safely park your car or be treated with respect after being victimized.

Yelp
I tried AMIK for one of their monthly WTF Wednesday events, in which they do not provide the menu until after the meal. Each dish was full of surprises. The flavors were great. I loved the wine pairing as well. The service was top notch, but it was a little slow at first as our waiter was very busy with other tables. They seemed a little short staffed that night. We had nothing but water on our table for half an hour, and it took forty five minutes for me to get my first glass of wine. Once the food and drinks started coming, though, I was very happy. The atmosphere is dark and warm. The decorations are modern. The total was $265 for my girlfriend and me. The experience lasted about two and a half hours. I'll certainly be back to try their a la carte menu, or perhaps another tasting menu event like this one.

Yelp
My NYE experience at Andrew Michaels was a little disappointing. The food was good, but the service was lacking. We waited quite a long time to order and also a very long time between the first and second courses. I ordered the wine pairings with my meal, but our server didn't mention the wine pairings when describing the prix fix menu, took all of our orders, then began walking away before I stopped him to add the wine. My food was good, but my partner's steak was a little overcooked. We also weren't asked how we wanted them cooked, but we assumed they'd be med rare (mine pictured was). Overall, I understand they were busy so it was probably just an off night. We'll always be back for the sticky toffee pudding!

Yelp
Celebrated our 27th anniversary here recently. The food was all I hoped for and more. A nice romantic place to celebrate any occasion. Bonus was the owner came around and greated us.

Yelp
Delicious food and phenomenal service!!! Food was amazing and rich and we are stuffed!

Yelp
Andrew Michaels had been on our list for a long time and we finally decided to make a reservation for a date night. Our dinner reservation was at 6:30 and we were seated promptly upon arrival. The hostess sat us at a small table against the wall in between two big parties, which's not a great spot if you are trying to enjoy a relaxing, intimate date night. The whole space felt cramped and I could hear every conversation going on around us. It was a really irritating and uncomfortable start to our dinner. The rest of the dinner was not very memorable. We got two drinks, two appetizers, and two pasta entrees. The only thing I mildly enjoyed was the Focaccia appetizer. The Tuna Crudo was very overpriced at $16 for only four tiny pieces. The pasta portions were really small for the price they are charging. It would've been fine if they tasted phenomenal but they were just ok, average at best. We were really disappointed with the whole dining experience at that point and were ready to just get the check and leave. But we ended up getting dessert and that turned out to be the highlight of our evening. I got the Trio of Gelato and my boyfriend got the Chocolate Sticky Toffee Pudding. The gelato was some of the best I've ever had with super creamy texture. The chocolate toffee pudding was so delicious! We loved the pecan powder and the smooth rich chocolate. I joked that I'd probably come back here just for the desserts. Overall it was a subpar dinner experience. We might come back and give them another try in the future but for now we'll save the special dates and occasions elsewhere.

Yelp
Had dinner Saturday night. 4 people. 4 different dinners. The pasta, chicken and meatballs and foccaccia bread very good. The halibut very small and overcooked. The NY strip was disappointing. Delivered lukewarm at best. Probably was sitting there waiting for the rest of the meals. However, a $65 steak in Memphis, medium rare should be HOT/medium rare and NOT DRY. Very disappointing. Over time the attention to detail in the kitchen has been missing.

Greg T.

Yelp
I give 3 stars for the food, which was no better than average. We had 2 different pasta dishes. My friend that I dined with loves this place but he even agreed that the food was not very good. Rating drops another star for the really difficult parking (I never use valet) and the bar seating is way too tight. Packed in like sardines. Very uncomfortable.

Ryan R.

Yelp
Our first visit, we had heard high praise and were excited to try it. Cute space, friendly staff. Not AM's fault, but we were unfortunately seated next to a foursome with two of the loudest women we've ever encountered. Eardrum piercing laughter for the first 2/3 of our meal until they finally left. The wine list was impressive, and we enjoyed our choice. Oysters were fine and came out quickly. Then we waited nearly an hour for pasta dishes, listening to the nearby banshees rattle the windows with their cackling. When pasta finally arrived, the papardelle was spectacular! The seasonal agnolotti was good, but had a really inconsistent cut/cook on the guanciale -- half of the bites were heavenly, the other half rubbery with unrendered fat. For entrees we shared the halibut and the short rib. The cook on the halibut was impressive! While the fish was good the vegetable soup ("vignole") mixture it was sitting on was disappointing. Nearly raw veggies in some weak veggie tea. I don't understand this dish. The menu mentioned it being served with "potato crunch" but I didn't find anything like that, just some crunchy raw celery and asparagus in the broth. The short rib was well cooked but poorly butchered, much of our rib was just a huge chunk of fat. All the accoutrements were delicious though and it was a pretty plate. Capped things off with an affogato. Overall, it was merely fine. The guests seated next to us were probably more memorable than anything that came out of the kitchen, which is regrettable at this price point when trying to have a romantic date night. If I were to go again I would approach it completely differently, sit in the bar, order one drink and one pasta and then be on my way to a different activity.

Yelp
Wonderful Food. Wonderful service. What more can you ask from a high end establishment?

Yelp
The most amazing food period. Quaint, elegant environment. Still thinking about the toffee dessert.

Yelp
90 percent of the food we ordered was superb. Ironically the pasta dish was the only underwhelming one. Menu is full of modern and interesting cuisine options. Our server was lovely and made good recommendations. Dining room feels intimate. A nice place for a nice date.

Yelp
Authentic Italian...the focaccia is incredible (and I hate focaccia) and the misticanza salad f/b maw maw's ravioli...you gotta be kidding me, WOW !

Yelp
I had the rigatoni Pasta and it was cold and dry, no sauce. The sweet tea of not good. The TIRAMISU was good.

Yelp
Made reservations for 3 for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were promptly seated. We sat by a window and could see out on the patio. We had appetizers-blue crab toast and cornbread. The cornbread was too wet and sweet for me but the other folks at the table gobbled it up. I ordered a pasta dish, my son ordered salmon and the hubs ordered ravioli. My pasta was way too sweet for a savory dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. For dessert we had a flight of gelato and some bread pudding thing. The gelato (with a pizelle) was fantastic. It was the best thing I had. Service and atmosphere was great. Food was ok. I would recommend them for a good date night.

Yelp
For Memphis, Andrew Michael is a good place for a nicer dinner. I have been meaning to try this place based on good recommendations. I've eaten a lot of great food in many major US cities including Michelins, but I do realize what the food scene in Memphis is like, thus my rating of 4 stars. We ordered 3 small plates, cornbread, 2 pastas, and the red snapper, yet only 1 dish was memorable for us from the entire meal - the fried green tomato. Wanted to order a second plate of that. Honestly, everything else was way too salty. I've had better caprese at more casual places at cheaper prices. Cornbread was dense and the crust was harder than I hoped for. I wanted a sweet spread to pair with it, but the honey butter didn't give any sweetness (There was more ricotta than any honey). Pastas were okay. The sauces were pretty typical of pastas I've had elsewhere. The red snapper was fried, but the breading was not crispy, more soggy than crisp. I wanted to like this place more since I had heard great things. To me, it feels like a decent restaurant for beginner palates, not nothing for people with more experience with food.

Yelp
I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday and it was an awesome dining experience! This is a hidden gem in the city . We experienced a five course meal where the menu is revealed at the end of the dining experience. I also added wine tasting to the dinner . This is a fine dining experience but overall reasonable in pricing. The wine tasting was a little pricey, but well worth it because the staff did an amazing job explaining the history and ingredients of each wine and pairing. My only complaint was the seating ..we were originally seated on a long couch with three tables ...paired between other guests. It was so close they could hear our conversation and we could hear theirs. We asked to move to a separate table and we were easily accommodated . This is the perfect restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, catch up with friends or entertain clients . We will be back !

Yelp
I dined at Andrew Michael Italian kitchen recently, and I couldn't be more pleased with the atmosphere, service, and eclectic menu. The restaurant is intimate and dimmed just enough for comfortable dining. With Covid still as huge concern, I loved that the tables aren't too close, and that sanitation is immediate after the completion of a party. Each party begins their course with an "Antipasta, or plate" in traditional Italian settings, this is the meal (appetizer) before your main dish. These dishes are rather small, yet packed with lots of flavor. For the appetizer, I ordered the Blue Crab. This meal was a great Italian bread, lightly seasoned with herbs and topped with cream, shallots, chives and cheese. Next, i ordered Scallops. Again, although the portion is small, this was one of my favorites. The scallops were seared to perfection and moist. For my 1st dish, I ordered the Maw Maw's ravioli. This dish is one of the most popular items on their menu. This dish was unique primarily because you taste the freshness of every ingredient, as well as the home cooked noodles. (Fun fact, the owners Grandfather comes in every week to make the dish) Now, for the excitement!!! For the main entrée I ordered the Chicken. This dish split in half is perfect meal for 2. I'm never a fan of ordering chicken at restaurants, but the chicken was the perfect finishing touch to our meal. Not only was it seasoned perfectly, but it was paired with carrots and potatoes in a delightful red wine vinaigrette. For dessert, I was highly recommended the CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. This dish consists of: brown bulter pecan powder and salted caramel gelato. This is a rather rich dish, so I suggest sharing, but the brown butter pecan powder balances out the brownie and gelato to make a sticky yet delectable pairing. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. I highly suggest dining here for a mid week or weekend experience. Fun Facts: Every meal, is served with new silverware and plate settings. They sanitize immediately after every setting. The Restaurant accommodates special requests and/or allergies.

Yelp
Food and Service fantastic. Loved the ambience, felt like we were dining at home. Will go back again. Pardis Stitt of Bottega/Chez Fon Fon in Birmingham recommended. Did not disappoint.

Yelp
First time trying and was very impressed. Everything was amazing. The fried mozzarella was very tasty! Maw Maw's Ravioli were so flavorful, you could taste the uniqueness of being homemade! Our server was very attentive. There is little parking, but offers valet! Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Delicious food with small portions but you don't leave hungry if order several courses

Yelp
Just WOW. I went on a double date with my fellow coworker here and I never knew a place could look and be so great! Hillary was our waitress and she knew that menu like the back of her hand, leading and guiding us to what were amazing dishes and desserts! I had a great time and the cocktails got me dizzy haha! Would visit again once I get my money up for this isnt an Olive Garden and their prices reflect their quality of food :)

Anna R.

Yelp
Amazing service! Delicious food! Highly recommend that place We were visiting this restaurant a day before Valentine's Day and it was really busy that night but hostess found a table really quick and after we just lost a count of time enjoying our food. Also such a cute interior.

Yelp
I'll start by saying that the food is delicious. Our party of 4 ordered different pasta dishes. The gnocchi, rigatoni and can't remember the other dishes. They were well cooked pasta and flavorful sauces. The only thing that we did not know is how small the plates are. We arrived with starvation in our eyes. We asked for house bread but they do not offer it. The men at the table were laughing so hard cause they were still hungry. So we ordered 2 focaccia breads with the prosciutto. It hit the right spot. The reason why I can only give this place 4 stars is because service. Our waiter was not attentive, she past several times not asking if we needed anything. We had to call her with another waiter to order the bread. Also, I don't think she has much experience cause her manors were lacking! Is not a cheap place, so I expect good service. The place is super cute. Romantic and quite! I will definitely comeback.

Paul ..

Yelp
Bad experience. Ordered an $8 beer which came in a stemmed beer glass. The beer filled about 2/3 of the glass and the two inches above that was empty with dried up foam up the sides when it arrived. Not the most appetizing presentation. My wife ordered two of the same mixed drinks and they tasted very different. The food that we had was delicious, but very small portions. Ordered the Maw Maw Ravioli and the bottom of the bowl was barely covered. The person next to me odored the same and had a full bowl. The Ravioli was warm at best. My wife ordered the Raviolo De Langosta. It was one ravioli about the size of a medium biscuit sitting in the bottom of the bowl and it was COLD. $120 later we went home and had supper.

Yelp
The food here is yummy. I had the Radiatore pasta it was light with a little spicy freshness. The Caprese was the star of my meal !! The tomatoes were marinated perfectly (the mozzarella could have been more though). The roasted cauliflower was great too im usually not a cauliflower fan. The server we had was great nice and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and private. Would definitely go back again

Yelp
Food was amazing! Our server, Haley, took great care of us and did a great job explaining the dishes. Our food was out to us in no time.

Yelp
Walking into Andrew Michael's is wonderful, I couldn't imagine a better setting. The restaurant is in a house and each room represents a different little dining area. It almost feels like you are eating in someone's fancy living room. I think the ambiance is probably one of the reasons people rate this restaurant so high. The service here was attentive, though in our instance did not feel genuine. They also try to push the chef's tasting menu on you, which I didn't want to do because most of the items on the menu didn't look interesting to me. When you don't select the chef's menu, they make you feel cheap. We tried a few things from each section of the menu, and the meatballs were far and away the best thing that we tried. The "gravy" is a family recipe and it is perfect. Five stars for the meatballs, but I found everything else very disappointing. I ordered the scallops, which were served over sauteed spinach. They were so salty I could barely eat them. The spinach underneath literally just tasted like I was eating salt. I have never in my life tasted something so salty. Of all things to oversalt, scallops might be the worst, as their flavor is so delicate just about anything would cover it up. I wish that I could recommend eating here, as the ambiance and menu options are great, but the food is highly disappointing. With a price point this high, I'd spend my money somewhere else.

Cloey M.

Yelp
amazing food!! service was excellent, our waitress made such yummy recommendations. I loved the cozy and romantic ambiance as well! ZERO complaints, highly recommend! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Across the street from Hog and Hominy, also in a former home, is this restaurant. Walking up the front steps was like walking into a family home. Once inside, we walked down a hall and into what could have once been a bed room. The decor is soft and somewhat elegant, making you feel you should keep your voices down. The cocktail I opted to try was the Vieux Carre. It was ok but not something I would get again here. For food, I opted to get the salumi and then the halibut. The cured meet was lacking something, maybe some bread or a mustard. The halibut, however, was the star of the show. It tasted great. There is a lot of stuff stacked on top of the fish and it all went perfectly together. I especially liked the thin apple slices, they really freshened up all the flavors.

Yelp
Love this place. They make all their pastas in house. Multi year Michelin nominee as well. Atmosphere: We recommend dining in the bar area. It's actually nicer than the dining room. There also appears to be a patio area accessible from the bar when the weather is nicer Service: our server was the bartender. She was able to make wine recommendations and also appears to be quite adept at crafted cocktails as well Focaccia: this appears to be baked in house. Came out perfectly warm. Was light, airy, and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on top. Also well seasoned with herbs and Parmesan Kale salad: flavors were on point. All salad ingredients complimented each other well. My only recommendation is that the kale should be wilted a little by either roasting or a quick sauté bc it was very fibrous raw Polenta with duck confit: this is a good combination. A bit on the salty side. Also it's super rich. Kale radiatore: house made pasta. Perfect pairing with the lemon sauce and tomatoes. This was the favorite dish of the night. Everything in it was well balanced Gnocchi: the pasta is also house made. The sauce is a sofrito chicken liver sauce but I did not taste much in the way of liver which usually has a mineral metallic taste but it was well hidden. It's a heavy dish and a bit on the salty side but good

Yelp
This was my first time in Memphis and my niece recommended this restaurant. At first, I was alarmed thinking the portion sizes were too small but it was so filling and just right. I got lasagna and it was the best lasagna I have ever eaten in my entire life. If I'm ever back in the area, I will go back. All of the food our party got was good but this was the best.

Yelp
Popped in for cocktails and appetizers prior to an off-site event and the hosts were extremely accommodating in finding us a last minute spot. Charming combination of understated elegance and approachable comfort. The carpaccio and focaccia were stellar and the Pear Pressure cocktail was aromatic and smooth. Time was a consideration for us and we appreciated the prompt service and cash out, as well as the valet service.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the cacio e pepe which I typically see made out of bucatini or spaghetti so it was interesting to have it made with a thick pasta. Although the overall flavor was very good it was a bit oily... much oiler than it should have been. I also got the scallops which are prepared in a pea sauce. I love peas but I found these particularly distasteful. The scallops with the pea sauce was an Interesting flavor. I would recommend you sample it. The cocktail tasted very off. I think the bartender was new and it showed because it had a lot of potential to be great based off what was in it but the flavors were unfortunately bland. They were really slow because I came in right as they opened but it still took a while for me to get the bartenders attention for anything. That's the frustrating thing about sitting at th the bar (any bar)!

Yelp
I was visiting from out of town & my boyfriends sister had her graduation here! The pastas were yummy. We almost ordered every pasta there was on the menu. I really enjoyed everything!

Yelp
Amazing amazing food! So creative and so much flavor. Every single dish had distinctive and bursting flavor. And it was so very unique. I could make comment on every dish but I have to comment on the sticky toffee pudding. I'm not a dessert person but the rest of our party got a couple dishes. Oh my goodness! There was this pile of what looked like flour - brown butter tapioca flour. Melt in your mouth yumminess! I have never tasted anything like it. The whole meal was truly amazing

Yelp
What a wonderful experience at Andrew Michael's! A friend and I went there on a Wednesday night and sat out on their newly updated patio. First of all, their COVID procedures were the best I've seen in any restaurants since reopening began. They take your temperature when you walk in. You are also required to wear a mask when you walk through the restaurant (but can remove it once you sit at your table). Tables are spread out both inside and outside. Finally, they are not giving out paper menus - but instead they have a small postcard with several QR codes to see the drink menu, dinner menu, and dessert menu on your phone. I felt very comfortable dining here. As for the food - AMAZING! For appetizers, we got the Arancini and the Royal Red Shrimp. The Arancini was one giant fried ball filled with Bolognese and spring peas. Highly recommend!! The shrimp were three pieces of fried shrimp with a dipping sauce. Both appetizers were good to split with just two people, but I wouldn't recommend any more people to share than that. For the main course, I got the Rigatoni and you MUST get this!!! The pasta was mixed with this wonderfully smoky pork belly. I could eat that dish every night! Atmosphere and service were great as well! I recommend to sit outside if you can because they just put in a new pergola with lights. Recommend right now to call and make a reservation if you are going since there are limited tables. I can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
We had NYE dinner here. I called around a lot of the comparable restaurant in Memphis and AMK's menu and price was the most appealing to me. 4 course dinner was $85 and wine pairing was $25. Extremely good price for the quality and occasion. The hostess was soooo nice I made the reservation about 10 days before NYE and they only had 9:30 slot, I expressed to her how I would like an earlier slot and took a note and was able to get me an earlier slot! Food was excellent! I've eaten all over U.S.A., Michelin star restaurants, mom and pop authentic Italian kitchen, nice restaurant in big cities and AMK is a great place to eat in overall experience. The food, the ambiance, the service and the price. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband and I chose different items so we were able to taste a big variety and they are all good! I'm usually not that big of fan of lentils and they converted me by their yummy lentils! Fish and scallop are cooked to perfection. Their cocktails are very good as well! Highly recommend Andrew Michael!

Yelp
First time visiting, food was very good and service was ok . Think we had a new server? Portions of fish was small compared to other restaurants of this caliber. Salad and dressing was excellent. For a five star rating they need to learn from Jim's place grill and kick it up a bit!

Yelp
We have moved away from Memphis but decided to make it a point to come to Andrew Michael because we had SUCH a great experience last time. Something has changed. The majority of our dishes were lukewarm when served and not good. Pretty much everyone in my party of 4 were disappointed. The quality in service was also not great, last time we were treated like royalty, this time...like an inconvenience.

Yelp
We had a birthday dinner and did the tasting dinner and wine pairing and will never plan to go again, not one plate looked the same with no to little description of what we were eating. The wine was paired with our meal and at the time he said a half pour per coarse lets just say maybe a 1/4 pour per glass. The private room is so loud you can not hear yourself if a few people are talking. Fine dinning NOT .....This was the 3rd time we have been to a dinner tasting and again disappointment is where we left once again.

Yelp
I decided to come here at the last minute when other plans fell through and sat at the bar. I don't usually write reviews, but everything about this place was exceptional- the service, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. This is my new favorite restaurant in Memphis - I highly recommend it! It's intended for you to order a few dishes to have multiple courses, but if you're wanting a more casual evening 1 course was plenty for me. I had the potato gnocchi with pork cheek, which was wonderful. To drink I had the On Luci's Way, which is like a Negroni with sparkling wine in it. For dessert I had the gelato trio, you get to pick 3 flavors from their nightly offering. I had pistachio, salted caramel, and strawberry. They were all three some of the best gelato I have ever had, including in Italy. The strawberry was my favorite though, plus it had a chocolate "magic shell" on top that sent it over the edge - like a chocolate covered strawberry. I fished it off with a glass of the 10 year tawny port, which was wonderful and came served in a fancy port glass. Everything about the evening was perfect. Also note there isn't much parking in the area, but they had a complimentary valet (as in they don't have a fee but you should tip them ) that was very fast and helpful. I was worried because I didn't have any cash for their tip, but they also have a venmo set up.

Yelp
Did the tasting menu , it was delicious. The flavors and the combinations of textures together made the dish amazing. The overall experience could have been better if they didn't ask us to wait another 30 mins to get our table even though we made reservations and also if they remembered to bring the dessert with a candle since we where dining to celebrate a birthday, I had mentioned it multiple times. But the food was great!! :)

Yelp
Incredible night at AMIK. Their COVID procedures are top notch, requiring a temperature check and sign in before you enter and masks to be worn any time you aren't eating and drinking or are walking through the dining room. No paper menus. Keep your utensils. Staff all in gloves and masks. Distanced tables thoroughly disinfected between guests. Good air circulation. We found the covid protocols did not interfere with the ambiance of the evening. We had a full chef's tasting selection. Every dish was perfect. Favorites included the yellowfin tuna bites, arancini, and cornbread with whipped risotto starters; the macaroni and spaghetti clam primi; and the pork chop and halibut entrees. All pastas made in house. The chocolate cake with butter solids was an unbeatable dessert. Gorgeous, cozy ambiance - perfect for special occasions and quiet date nights. Outstanding service. Our reservation was late so we ended up needing to leave a little early for the kitchen to close as per covid guidelines and they packed up our extras and our desserts to go. So worth the $$ for this Sicilian/Southern American fusion experience. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Memphis. Perfect for date night, girls night, or just grabbing drinks at the bar. The menu is constantly changing to highlight seasonal food and cocktails. Great atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Monday pasta night is a must. WTF Wednesday is such a fun experience.

Yelp
This is a super nice place for a romantic date night! My boyfriend took us here for our first date and i honestly swooned. Its a real-life candle lit dinner just like the movies. The food is amazing and they change the menu every season so you can always try new things. The servers are the sweetest people ever and they're always so happy to help with recommendations. This is my all time favorite restaurant!

Yelp
Had dinner here last week . My waitress Roe was wonderful. Her recommendations were great. The pasta dish was fantastic as was the old fashion. The dessert was also amazing. I highly recommended this restaurant
