Easygoing neighborhood eatery serving wood-fired pizza in an industrial-style space.
"Drinking beer is bound to make you feel pretty good, but drinking beer at Atlas Brew Works in Navy Yard gives you the warm and fuzzies times two because they're producing beers like their signature District Common craft lager responsibly: Atlas’ beers are made using 100% solar power. You’ll need at least a dozen visits to make your way through Atlas’ permanent, rotating, and seasonal beer lists which are best paired with a slice of two from Andy’s Pizza, sold on site. Come here with your out-of-town friends before hitting a Nats game to prove you’re resourceful enough not to spend $20 on a ballpark beer." - madeline weinfield
"Fast-growing local chain Andy’s Pizza has quickly developed a reputation as one of the better local options for New York-style slices. An Atlas Brew Works production facility and taproom on Half Street has partnered with Andy’s, too, so customers can order individual portions, whole pies, Old Bay wings, and salads for carryout or patio dining. There are also to-go Atlas beers in cans, crowlers, and 750-milliliter bottles." - Tierney Plumb, Eater Staff

"Atlas’s partnership with Andy’s Pizza, a local brand specializing in New York-style pies, has helped draw stressed-out customers who are turning to familiar foods during the public health crisis." - Elsie Yang
"Andy’s Pizza, a New York-style slice shop that recently moved into D.C. to supply pies to the Echo Park bar in Shaw, is expanding to pizzeria-flooded Navy Yard. Yesterday Atlas Brew Works announced plans to partner with Andy’s at its incoming, jumbo-sized Half Street Brewery & Tap Room that will sit in between Nationals Park and the closest Metro stop. Andy’s grew out of local frozen pizza brand, Eat Pizza, opening its first counter as part of the lineup in the A Taste of Urbanspace food hall in Tysons Galleria. Andy’s Pizza dough undergoes a 72-hour cold ferment, cooked in a New York deck oven that produces a crisp crust, chewy interior, and a slightly sour flavor. Andy’s will also bring along its menu of salads, Buffalo and Old Bay wings, and Old Bay fries to Navy Yard. One of its most popular orders is a white pizza with mushroom and onion, built with roasted garlic-flavored olive oil, mozzarella, provolone, roasted cremini mushrooms, and caramelized onions. All slices are served on a no-frills paper plate." - Tierney Plumb
