I recently visited Andy’s Pizza in NOMA, and it was a fantastic experience. The standout of the evening was the bartender, Mike, who was phenomenal. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pair my drinks perfectly with some delicious pizza. The atmosphere at Andy’s is so welcoming, you almost forget you’re in the city—it feels like a little escape. This location also offers a good burger, which was a nice surprise in addition to their excellent pizza. If you’re looking to enjoy your meal outside, they have a great outdoor seating area in the back, perfect for enjoying good weather. Overall, I definitely recommend checking out Andy’s Pizza in NOMA for the food, the vibe, and the excellent service!

Stumbled upon this fantastic place while visiting DC/Maryland. We were beyond happy with the restaurant, friendly team members, and the pizza was the best I’ve ever had. Oh I almost forgot about h th e delicious basil strawberry vodka soda I had, yum!

A special shoutout to Fabian and Shawn for their amazing drinks and outstanding service! They really made my visit memorable. Absolutely love this place! Anytime I’m craving pizza I drive up here to pick some up or dine in for the vibes. I love that it’s attached to the grocery store it adds to the atmosphere. You can go to the grocery store for a lil sweet treat after your pizza or even a drink

Pizza by the slice or buy the whole pie.....don't skimp on the veggies as the fried Brussels sprouts were crunchy and not oily. The kale salad was refreshing with its lemon dressing.

This was the very first place I ate at upon moving to DC and it did not disappoint. Pizza was delicious and service was fast. Only thing is at the register the cashiers are confused over which pizza belongs to which customer. Overall the pizza was excellent and reasonable prices. There’s also a bar in the back area.

The best NY style pizza in DC. Mix and match is always the way to go. Can easily feed 2-3 people with one pie. My go to for a quick pizza!

What a nice surprise! Who would have thought a pizza-by-the-slice pizzeria in a grocery store under an apartment complex would have such stellar pizzas?! Equipped with a full-bar and four TVs at said bar, this place is a go-to with friends or if you're exploring the city solo. Wine specials on Wednesday, beer specials on Thursday, and happy hour all day on Sundays. There is not a doubt in my mind this will become a new go-to for when friends are in town or when I just don't feel like cooking. The slices are pretty large - pair it with a beer, and you'll be good. If not, it takes literal minutes to get a second slice. Come enjoy the good music, fresh air, and upbeat ambience of this hidden gem.

Is it girls night without pizza? I order Andy's for movie night and it didn't disappoint. My order was ready about 40 minutes after placing it. I will say, if you're picking up late at night, it's a little crowded and it's hard to differentiate between the order line and pick up line. Anywho, the pizza was hot and amazing! If you're getting certain pizzas to-go, they'll put "wet" ingredients on the side -- for us it was hot honey and Burrata. As soon as I got inside, we demolished this pizza -- we didn't even reheat it! I highly recommend.

I've been here like 3 times now. The service is cool. My rating is strictly for their burger. I think it's a very solid burger! Especially for the price point. However I'm on the fence about their pizza. I got individual slices and they weren't really that good. I'm considering trying an entire pie. Burger - 4 Pizza - 3

This location is much larger then the one I usually go to in Bethesda. Nice large bar area upstairs seating and out door patio area. Pizza was delicious like always.. this location even has a grocery store, which also sells beer and wine. Very good selection.. all the employees were great! In fact, we went there for fast lunch treat and after the local high school football game, we went to we went back for dinner!!

This pizza is mouth watering to say the least. Come check it out. It's in a developing hot spot attractive neighborhood. The pizza has tons of flavor.

Came here for the metropolitan beer trail! Sign up for a free slice with a purchase of a beer on the metropolitan beer trail website. When you walk in it looks like a store but you walk past all of it and you see the bar area. This is where you show your coupon and order your beer and pizza. The workers by the bar did not give the best service. They seemed very nonchalant and kind of annoyed with how many people were coming in for this special. None the less, the pizza was amazing. The workers by the pizza shop were working hard and all had smiles and were polite. Pepperoni special is hands down the best slice of pizza there. All options were tasty but this was has a bit of everything. pepperoni, burrata, basil, hot honey... chefs kiss. There is additional seating outside with shade and an upstairs but that was closed. We wanted to come back just to take a pepperoni special pie back home but they were closed by then!

Visited 7/31/24. Got a slice of the signature pepperoni (pepperoni, burrata, basil, and franks hot honey) and got the broccolini on happy hour. Dang that's a good slice. I honestly found myself wanting to go back for a slice of Buffalo chicken while on my trip but restrained myself. The broccolini was solid and would make for a good shareable. Overall Andy's is definitely worth stopping at especially if you want a large single slice.

This is a great place for pizza for parties of 4 to 40 - really! Andy's is just steps away from the entrance into the market, but they occupy a ton of space in the back and the patio. Plenty of seats at the bar, above, and beyond. Around Saturday lunchtime, my friend and I found a quiet spot upstairs. The staff kindly takes your order up front, then they deliver your slice to wherever you're sitting. Andy's makes large, flat triangles that are ideal for the pizza folders. I enjoyed my onion and mushroom slice and chicken tenders, while my friend had a cheeseburger and pepperoni pizza. Every time I've had Andy's, the quality has been solid. Believe me, my office orders boxes and boxes of this stuff to the point where I've taken a few slices home. It feels very casual inside, so good for friends, families, and dates.

My son and I went for dinner and we were not disappointed. We ordered a large mushroom and onion pizza and it was really good. The service and ambiance were on point. I'd definitely recommend this place.

This is a cool place, with a relaxed vibe, to have a slice of pizza and a beverage! There's a huge bar and seating area in the back of the convenience store. You'll pass through a well-equipped convenience store to get to the large seating area and spacious patio. There's second-floor seating too. There were several flat screens and a mix of popular music was playing. The place is very clean and the menu is simple. We ordered the shaken lemonade.... Don't waste your money if you're looking for a fresh lemon taste. There really wasn't much lemon flavor. If you like kool-aid, go for it. You'll order your food at the bar and someone will bring your food to you. You'll likely be ordering pizza by the slice although whole pies are available. This is thin crust pizza. The pizza tasted fresh and the hubs even ordered a second slice. I'd definitely return just for the chill, relaxed vibe and quick pizza by the slice.

First and foremost the standout is the food- fantastic NY style pizza. The crust is spot on, with great texture and flavor in what tastes more like a wood oven than a baked traditional oven pizza. Good enough that you actually want to eat the crust. Honey served on the table didn't hurt any either. Sauce was perfect, and the toppings were plentiful and also high quality. The pepperoni is the smaller spicy style which I personally love. The restaurant offers pizza by the slice or as a whole pie. I ordered by the slice so I could try multiple flavors and all were good. Price was a bit high but the quality made it worth it. The restaurant offers a full bar and multiple beers on tap. Check out their combo deals - slices plus a drink (alcoholic and nonalcoholic)- for the best value. Appetizers are available as well as salads. When entering Andy's it appears that the restaurant was an afterthought as the front looks more like a specialty grocer with a small pizza shop on the side. This is not the case. Walk through the open wing to the back near the pizza stand and you will find the full bar and lots of seating- lower and upper levels, with TVs if you're trying to catch a game. Good ambiance and can accommodate larger parties if needed. Family friendly. Service was good- fast and helpful. The restaurant is a walk up order style at the bar- no table service but I didn't think there was any great loss here with the arrangement. Absolutely a place to try if pizza is on your want list. The only reason for the four stars was not as great on service as it could be and was a little pricey. Overall, highly recommended. Cheers.

Yummy in my Tummy!Best of the best pizza Ive had in a long time! It's thin loaded with sauce and goodness of cheese! Taking one bite I knew it was the best pizza and now I know why they won for the best cheese pizza! I tried their classic cheese pizza and pepperoni~ it sure didn't disappoint! I also got their salad which was okay just typical salad but I wish the portion was little bigger. Their chicken wings were finger licking good! It was easy to order and pick up from their website. the staff were very friendly! The place looked like lots of fun with board games to great music! Next time I visit I'll definitely check out the bar for happy hour! If you're visiting DC checked them out. They have couple location and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Andy's is always a great pizza stop for me. The pizza is good, there's great beer and cocktail choices (including happy hour), and amazing brussel sprouts! They also have outside seating and space on the second floor (that would be great for events). Overall, it's a great casual spot to grab a slice, enjoy a few drinks, watch games and/or catch up with friends. It's also inside the Streets Market so any quick grocery needs are right there as well.

We have been to Andy's Pizza many times. Usually we grab a cold beer and a hot pizza. This time was no different, and everything tasted great! Only knocking off a star because I think the bartender forgot to put our food order in, as we got our slices and a full pie to-go before our appetizers came out.

The pizza is good, as this is Andy's pizza. However, the 2nd floor is closed and there was no soap in the bathroom. It's kinda ok.

Andy's is such a staple for me now. I love the cute decor and outdoor patio space. How can you beat award-winning cheese pizza? (with the pepperoni if you ask me). They also have a nice rotating beer selection, complemented by stable high end selections like a Maine's Lunch IPA. Always a solid go to for good pizza. However, I'd stay away from the chicken tenders. I thought they were relatively small portions for the price and the chicken was extremely dry. Overall thumbs up for pizza and beer!

Good pizza was able to customize a pie of 8 slices with different flavors. Great to go with a group and share. Recommend the pepperoni special and carnivore slice

I'm new to the area and I was craving some pizza. Ordered an onion and mushroom pie for delivery. The pizza came quickly enough. To be honest, my first reaction once I opened the box was "Oh no" because the crust and parts of the top were burnt (minus 1 star). However, that being said, the pie smelled and tasted phenomenal.

Andy's Pizza is great, no matter the location. I've visited the Andy's Pizza NoMa location a lot over the years, including for events (shout out to their Cinco de Mayo event!), takeout, and just grabbing a slice and beer at the bar. This location is a little awkward because it's tucked in the back of the Streets Market when it really deserves its own space. But, they have awesome pizza, an awesome beer menu, and a pretty good space with some outdoor seating, mezzanine seating, general seating, and bar seating. I highly recommend everything at Andy's, particularly the french fries and of course the pizzas. These are the best NY-style pizzas in the DMV. Particular favorites are the Diavolo, Sausage & Pepper, and classic pepperoni. Most recently, I got the Sausage & Pepper for take out and it was excellent.

Great little spot in the NOMA district of DC. The place is bright and open with 2 floors and an outdoor patio. You order your food at the bar and they bring it to your table. They have a nice selection of flavours and the pizza is excellent!

I'm hard to like pizza but damn this place was great (the delegate) they have an ahhhhmazing happy hour every day too! I got the burger to switch it up and because no one has tried it on here. It's very nice , nice chargrilled and fresh toppings , I got the spicy one . It's got a kick but not in an obnoxious way ! Great beer selection too . Yay tip your bartender they are friend not foe . Enjoy !

A nice slice, good service. Ask for Amber at the bar for great service. N.b. The pizza warmer doesn't do much - I recommend taking the slice home and preheating the oven and seeing how you can crisp it up.

If you are looking for a great slice in DC, head to Andy's! We've been trying pizza all over the city and this is the first Andy''s location we've hit. The crust- wood fried and perfectly crisp. The beer- thirst quenching. Lillie by Landmade was the perfect pizza Pilsner. The toppings- great topping to cheese ratio. We had the DIAVOLA, regular pepperoni, and speciality pepperoni. Diavola brought the heat but my fave were the other two. The ricotta texture wasn't my jam. Gonna stick to the basics. Parking isn't too terrible on a later Friday night in the neighborhood and there's a metro nearby. There's also a super cute neighborhood market attached to the restaurant. This might become our go-to pizza spot!

all the hype about this pizza and when it arrived i was severely disappointed. Pizza was very thin crust with a lack of cheese. it has some basil leaves on it and had these packs of something called hot honey. Pepperoni Special (House Favorite) Red sauce, mozzarella, 'roni cups, burrata, basil, mike's hot honey, parmigiano $7.50 $32.50 there was zero special about this pizza. i eat mostly low carb and was craving a pizza since we were on vacation in DC and did not want to go out because you cant in DC at night. I know you think i am being hard on this one time purchase but it was bad enough to get me to review it and say i would never eat any pizza they cooked if this was supposed to be a house favorite. i do know good pizza and this was not it. maybe they had an off night but it turned me away. Thanks for reading. Sorry Andy but it was not good.

Honestly it never fails. Such good pizza and quick easy service. Grab your own table and order at the bar, very chill environment with big pieces of pizza. Good selection of drinks with self serve water table.

We came in on a Sunday and sat at the bar! I had a house favorite and pepperoni. It was so tasty. Pretty big slices as well. Omar was awesome, so kind and welcoming! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. My fav pizza place in the area for the taste but also the atmosphere/ ambiance and service!

Pizza is great! We got the margehrita pizza and it was phenomenal. Workers were quick during rush hour and pizza came out hot and fresh. It did not burn our mouths and it was crispy. The old bay fries were very good. I would definitely come back!

Fun place with good pizza and very well prices too! The beer selection was large with lots of good beer and the price was crazy cheap. I had one local lager and it was seriously $4 for a 16oz pour. So it is called Andy's pizza so about the pizza, very good. I went for cheese slice, as anybody can tell you the purest slice is a cheese slice if you want to analyze the crust sauce and cheese and not have anyything get in the way. The crust was NYC thin and crisp, sauce was tasty and right amount of cheese. It wasn't the best pizza but it was up there and for the price, nice staff and CHEAP and GOOD beer I am going up from 4 to 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Hands down favorite pizza spot! I live the NoMa location because of the inside and outside option - great for a date night or fun with friends and/or families. Order at the counter and then hang out. There's an outdoor patio with corn hole and picnic tables. They do a great deal on thurs nights with a cocktail pitcher and 2 slices! Their pepperoni pizza is out of this world. Also love the white pizza. Wish they did delivery, but can always use a service for that. Love this place.

Service is always great and food is quick. Regular happy hour spot for pizza and drinks. Pizza is good. They always have a variety of pizzas to choose from and some specialties. FYI, There are two entrances. One is a street market entrance, and follow the pizza to the bar!

Andy's is the best pizza in DC! The cheese pizza is internationally awarded, which tells you something. The crust is the prefect balance of crispy and chewy. The sauce is bright, and the cheese rounds out the base trio to perfection. The pepperoni also forms the perfect cup. My favorite slice is the pepperoni special!! Also, don't sleep on the mushroom and onion!

I didn't plan on having pizza, but when I stepped outside of my hotel, all I could smell was woodfired pizza, and it drew me right in. I followed my nose until I located the scent. OK, fine, I actually used my GPS to find it. You can either walk up and order carry out or you can dine in. The staff was friendly, and I received my food quickly. I tried a slice of classic pepperoni and a slice of mushroom onion. Both slices were fantastic and full of flavor. I particularly enjoyed the thin crust. I also ordered a burrata salad. It was the perfect size to feed one. It was a very enjoyable meal! I would recommend this pizza to anybody I know.

Excellent pizza, and this is coming from a self-professed pizza snob. I came here for a work event and was pleasantly surprised by how good the pies were. I tried the cheese and honey/pepperoni/burrata - you could taste the quality in the ingredients. And even though I usually give the crusts to my husband, Andy's makes an excellent crust, nice and puffy, really good chew. The slice passes the fold test. The sides (Caesar salad, fries) were all right. I would devote premium stomach space to the pizza. That said, it does get extremely loud, to the point where I was basically shouting to the person just across the table or sitting next to me. We were sitting in the upstairs area right above the bar and even though there wasn't music blasting (at least not that I could tell), it felt like the volume kept multiplying throughout the night. Something to bear in mind if you have sensitive hearing like me. It's located in the back of some sort of corner mart, thought we were in the wrong place at first.

Yelpers, this is a place to come to. The pizza is good (coming from a guy that respects a New York or Italian slice), and the service from Amber is amazing. Worth it to come here. The chicken tenders are the best you'll get in DC. If it means anything to you because you made it this far, I had my birthday party here. My parents flew up and met the staff. Everything that you could want from a Pizza Joint is here. If you're still on the fence by the time you're reading this, come to Andy's.

Today I stopped by Andy's pizza to grab a quick slice while at work. While waiting for my pizza to warm up I literally watched it drop out of the toaster because no one grabbed it in time. So, another slice was put in to warm up. In the end, I received a very small slice that cost me $5. In my opinion, while the pizza is good, this slice is not worth $5. I had no choice but to pay since this was the replacement slice for what was dropped. However, please do better Andy's with what you charge and the slices you provide.

Some of the best pizza I've had in the city if not the best. Located casually in the back of a Streets Market, Andy's serves thin, crispy, New York style slices/pies as well as other quick bites and drinks. We tried the classic pepperoni, pepperoni special (has burrata and hot honey), sausage/pepper, and Buffalo chicken. All of them were fantastic. We went at 6pm on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that Happy Hour is 7 days a week! We had a delicious blackberry bourbon cocktail for $10, a couple draft beers for $5-7, and house wine for $6. Great casual spot for a quick slice and/or drink. I'll be back for sure.

This is such a hidden gem! Absolutely delicious pizza. Great calm, upscale atmosphere on a rainy Saturday. Decent price for a slice or two! Will be back

I was staying at the Marriott near by and needed a quick bite. This was the closest pizza place. Sadly it didn't meet my expectations, the pizza was dry and overcooked. To start off the ordering process is very confusing. The young lady taking orders is clueless. I was standing in front of where you order and I made eye contact with her. She didn't come over to take my order. I walked down to where the tablet is, she still had me wait and finally she says, "what do you want" like how rude. I get two slices. She hands me the receipt and I have my card ready in my hand and she turns around again. She has her back to me. She could have told me that you have to go pay at the grocery store register. Got a small box with 2 slices they don't really look appetizing. Pepperoni was $4 and the Buffalo Chicken was $6.00. Very subpar pizza that lacked flavor and tasted burnt. I've had NY style pizza before and this is not it.

Excellent food -- especially the burger. Pizza is definitely better when ordered as a whole pie over individual slices. I have never had any poor interactions with staff. Not much of a sit down restaurant, there is a designated space for people to dine in, but many order carry-out. Located within Streets Market. Andy's Pizza Shaw is a great location for a sit-down meal.
