The Best Donuts in NYC | Eater NY

"This Italian bakery just south of Times Square is popular with tourists and office workers, and you might pass it by if the window didn’t catch your eye. The pastries are unusually good for a place in this location (there are three other branches). The doughnuts are elegant, giving Italian twists, as in the one filled with pistachio cream and sprinkled with granulated sugar." - Eater Staff

Diane is amazing!! And the food is.. there are no words actually for the food. I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve never had food this good before!!! Diane was very helpful in helping us choose all the different choices. And the result is just WOW!!! We will definitely be returning!!

On the Google description, it was mentioned as a quiet upstairs to sit, but there is no upstairs. Coffee and hot chocolate were very good. Prices were as expected, high. Very strongly scented bathroom air freshener… Made sitting in the café, a little nauseating.

I recently visited Angelina Bakery - 7 Times Square, and from the moment I walked in, I knew this would be a special experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Times Square — making it the perfect stop whether you’re exploring the city or just looking for a cozy place to relax amid the buzz of New York. The décor is modern and elegant, with subtle Italian touches that give the place a warm and welcoming vibe. Everything was spotless and well-organized. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, greeting guests with genuine smiles and making sure everyone felt at home. As for the food — simply outstanding. I tried the freshly baked croissant, which was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right balance of flavor. The coffee was rich, smooth, and expertly prepared. I also indulged in their Italian desserts, and the tiramisu, in particular, was light, creamy, and authentically delicious. Prices are reasonable considering the location and the high quality of the products. Whether you’re looking to sit down and enjoy a peaceful break or grab something to go, the bakery offers a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere that works for both. In short, Angelina Bakery has quickly become one of my favorite spots in New York. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Times Square — it’s a little slice of Italy in the middle of the city that never sleeps.

The food is not only beautiful but extremely delicious! Lovely atmosphere to be in especially in such a busy area, it’s a nice escape. David is an amazing server with a lovely smile and presence. Love it here and am looking forward to coming back and trying more ❤️

I would rate the donuts with the holes 6/10 as they are empty inside. The other donut from the picture (with powdered sugar) had a perfect amount of filling inside, easy 9/10. The staff was really nice and it wasn’t crowded. Still, we thought we should get more out of our money. They have bunch of different options so I would recommend visiting and trying something.

We ordered the pizza, ham & cheese croissant, Nutella bomboloni, and a cheese-spinach-egg pastry. Everything was delicious! The venue is gorgeous with plenty of seating, and the staff was excellent.

I had the best experience at Angelina Bakery in Times Square. As an Italian, I have to admit I felt like I was having pizza in Italy. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. Everything was presented perfectly and from the outside you can see all the products they offer and I couldn’t resist to go in and try something. I also tried the gelato, a lil bit expensive, but it was worth it. The croissants were also just so good. The staff was also super kind and helpful, and the manager was super sweet. I highly recommend this place if you want to have some good Italian food!!

Quick grab for their pistachio croissant ( generous filling) still my favourite ❤️. But their Chai Latte ( a bit diluted )
