The Best Donuts in NYC | Eater NY

"This Italian bakery just south of Times Square is popular with tourists and office workers, and you might pass it by if the window didn’t catch your eye. The pastries are unusually good for a place in this location (there are three other branches). The doughnuts are elegant, giving Italian twists, as in the one filled with pistachio cream and sprinkled with granulated sugar." - Eater Staff

I had the best experience at Angelina Bakery in Times Square. As an Italian, I have to admit I felt like I was having pizza in Italy. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. Everything was presented perfectly and from the outside you can see all the products they offer and I couldn’t resist to go in and try something. I also tried the gelato, a lil bit expensive, but it was worth it. The croissants were also just so good. The staff was also super kind and helpful, and the manager was super sweet. I highly recommend this place if you want to have some good Italian food!!

You’ll walk in expecting another tourist trap. You’ll walk out a little more Italian than you went in. The gelato is unapologetically rich, glossy, creamy, like someone whipped cream with memory and fed it nostalgia. I had a cup (cookie cream? stracciatella? divine confusion) that got recommended by the kind staff and delivered all the right textures: tender swirls, soft chunks, crisp chocolate lacing like an edible secret. The atmosphere is bright and Instagram-ready.

Such a nice, beautiful, clean place in a center of a NY chaos. Staff is great and friendly. The food was amazing. We had two slices of pizza. And also a lemon dessert. It was delicious!!!

I was sooo happy to hear that Chef Tony Park was opening up a location close to my office... it is going to test my self-control since everything is delicious. I tried the Korean Strawberry dessert that is served in a chocolate pot and it was amazing. See the pictures. I also took a mini Raspberry Croissant, mini Nutella Croissant and a mini pistachio bomboloni to go that were really good. It is not as big as the other stores but it is very well decorative and has a homey feel. The staff is very nice and helpful with choosing what I wanted. Give them a visit!

Ordered entire meal on kiosk. Waited for over 25 minutes to find out they never began my order because they did not see the ticket print. Pizza that I ordered was out of stock and they could not refund my money because they said the transaction did not process correctly. 87$ to get a meal I didn’t even want. Multiple items did not even get heated up all the way. Horrible experience, will not be going back. Desert was good but good is not worth it at all. Don’t order from kiosk unless you want to risk losing your money to the void.

If you wanna start your day with the freshest croissant, Angelina Bakery is the best to go. Delicious food aside, you will see the most friendly staff there to help you. So, highly recommended!

Just wanted a hot cup of coffee and a treat to go with it while waiting on friends and seeking cover from the rain. The coffee was lukewarm at best which I despise and the croissant was nothing special and definitely not fresh. It did have a good amount raspberry jam filling inside but the pastry itself was mediocre. Wouldn’t go back again.
