Angelina Bakery Times Square NYC

Great pastry shop located in a very central location. Southern cannot was quite good and fresh. Nutella donut was okay but the pistachio flavor was heavenly. I'd say this bakery is quite comparable to Dominique Ansel. Highly recommend.

Nice tourist trap resturant. Great desserts but sandwiches r simple. Meat, bread, cheese... with arugula maybe. Bread was delicious..seemed really fresh! Chocolate chip cookies were delicious also! Nothing to really knock ur socks off food-wise. Just good clean eating. Bathroom had a cracked toilet seat. Also condiments like mayo ketchup & mustard r in packers. Lots of delicious looking desserts, but most have dairy. They also don't offer coconut milk as a dairy alternative. Good for a quick expensive meal before a show.

Loved this bakery while visiting NYC! Stopped in for coffee and pastries a few mornings while we were there. Service was fast, coffee and pastries were fantastic! Tried so many different ones it’s hard to pick a favorite! I definitely preferred this place over Starbucks. There is plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. You can also order ahead to skip the line.

Discovered this place while walking in a downpour. Relieved from the cold, wet weather. We were treated with great pastry and coffee. This is primarily an Italian place with pasta, pastries, gelato plus more Italian goodies. This is a must try for a snack, pastry and more. There are 2 floors for seating. We cannot wait the try their other offerings. Highly recommended. A must try.

This croissant is delicious! Just look at it! Simply incredible! Also the rest of their offering looks too good to be true - you have a hard time deciding what you want. Best is probably to take it all! The interior of this bakery is cute and welcoming to sit down and take a bite. This time I had to follow my journey but I will make sure to stay longer next time I am there.

Great place to grab an overpriced Time Square pastry. Staff is nice, they have them separated into stations so it's a bit inefficient but understandable based on the volume they are putting out. Their Italian style doughnuts here are insanely good. Always grab one when I pass by.

The service was great! Every worker was helpful and was quick to serve my friend and I. I ended up buying the pistachio donut, and it was so good! The filling inside was delicious, it was like pistachio mixed with white chocolate. 10/10 experience⭐️

Angelina bakery was delicious! We went for the first time, and everything was looking good, to be honest! I would love to go back to try some other of their pastries. The decoration is nice, the place to eat upstairs is really spacious and clean ! I will come back for sure.

We were walking towards Central Park and stumbled upon Angelina Bakery. From the window we were immediately drawn in from their pastries so we decided to take a break and have a snack. We ordered coffee and the popular Cronut which was filled with either pistachio cream or Nutella. It was messy but definitely worth it. It was the perfect mid trip snack on our way to Central Park.

**Review of Angelina Bakery** I recently visited Angelina Bakery, and while everything looked amazing, the flavor didn't quite match up to the appearance. The pastries were visually stunning, but the taste left something to be desired. Additionally, the waits in line were long and the service was very inefficient, making the experience frustrating. Overall, Angelina Bakery is definitely not worth the wait or the price. Despite the beautiful presentation, the underwhelming flavors and poor service make it a place I wouldn't recommend.

We came here not very hungry, but wanted to try their croissant and bombolone. I was very happy to see that they had mini versions as well, which was perfect. We got the Mini Strawberry Croissant ($3.50) and Mini Pistachio Bombolone ($3.50). Both pastries were very sweet with the strawberry flavor reminding me of a strawberry Pocky. The sweetness was overpowering for me, so I was only able to have a bite. If sweet is your thing, you'd probably enjoy it more than me. Plus, it was a hot day and the AC was not very strong in here. It made it not as enjoyable to dine here either. When I asked for tap water, they said their filter was broken too.

Why go to Paris? I was in Paris twice last year and managed to not stop in at the location by the Louvre since I had very limited time. I took my nephew out to lunch with the intention of dropping in here for dessert so we made sure to make room to have some stuff here. The walk from the West Village was perfect in all ways. It gave us enough time to digest our lunch and make just enough room for dessert. We shared the lemon and berry tartes. I of course got the famous hot chocolate for the nephew. He's been to Paris before, but my sister has yet to take him. He loved every sip. The pastries were of course great.

Popped in here for a little snack after riding bikes in central park. Shared a Nutella italian donut which was freaking amazing!!! And a split of prosecco! Absolutely delightful stop in our day!

This bakery was right across the street from the hotel I was staying at so naturally I had to give it a try. My sister and I got the pistachio and coffee gelato, though we had intended to get the coconut gelato instead of the coffee and did not realize that the server made an error until halfway through eating it. The server gave us a small serving of coconut gelato as an apology, though we only intended to get a sample, which was very nice of them. All three flavors were really good, all tasting like what they were meant to be while still having a nice level of sweetness that comes with being in the form of gelato. The restaurant also has nice decor and upstairs and outdoor seating. I would be willing to come back again if I'm ever in this area. A lot of their pastries looked really good, too, so I would be more than willing to try those.

Nice clean place. worker are friendly perfect location all the musicals. Baery selection is huge. So many delicious delicious treats. I will return. Unfortunately no pics today

I'm sure there are many items here that are delicious and has attributed to Angelina Bakery's renowned status as a NYC staple, but I was sorely disappointed by my order. I ordered an almond croissant, and firstly, it was extremely expensive for its size - $8!! Something in the topping tasted almost freezer burnt, and I would've expected it to be fresh. There wasn't enough filling either. It was hard and didn't taste fresh, and they were not allowed to heat it up due to it containing almonds - understandable, but you would think that they would have a separate oven to heat up pastries with nuts in since they have several.

Overall a really yummy bakery and would go back. They have a wide variety of cakes, donuts, croissants, pizza, and sandwiches which made it a little overwhelming trying to figure out what to get but that's not a bad thing! We went in expecting to get a pastry each (so two in total) and ended up with 5. We only tried the desserts and really enjoyed them for the most part. Our favorite was either the pistachio creme filled croissant or the boston creme, both of which weren't overly sweet (the pistachio croissant was a little messy to eat though). The pastries were a little denser than I was expecting but were still delicious. We probably could've skipped the ferrero rocher cake given the outside shell was really hard and it was missing my favorite part of the ferrero rocher, the nutella like fudge-y center! There are ample seating options: some outdoor seating, some tables by the cashier downstairs, and more tables upstairs. A small bird had somehow made its way inside the bakery but otherwise ambiance was very chill.

I just recommended Angelina Bakery to my friend at work who is visiting this week. There is no better treat when you're in NY than to see what they've got that day. Breakfast pizza? yep Matcha Croissants? yes please food as big as your head? you bet and the coffee is good too ? of course They continue to add deliciousness and expose us to great and different combinations of baked goods. There's a serious amount of creativity happening in this bakery, they are at the top of their game. Glad to know you're out there , I'll continue to send friends so I can live vicariously through them and hope to see you soon! :)

I was looking for a place that makes Bombolinis in NYC (particularly Pistachio) and both locations of Angelica Bakery pulls up first on Yelp. Unfortunately this place is Extremely overpriced, the products look photo-worthy but the ingredients & quality are similar to any other semi-chain touristic business. I was surprisingly disappointed, considering all of the good reviews & stars. These baked goods are just for a pretty photo, at the price of $8.00 for 1 bombolini!! Essentially a plain fried donut, filled with custard cream. I happened to be in the area and decided to make the splurge, after passing by a few times in the past. They always seem nicely stocked and with a decent crowd (mainly tourists), I went around 2pm on a Friday. I got home and cut across it to eat about 1/3 of it. Sadly Dunkin's Bavarian Creme or Boston Creme donuts have twice as much filling as these. There was about a 75% dough to 25% custard ratio. The dough part wasn't particularly anything special- tastes a bit like an overworked yeasted dough. I look a bit closer and realize that the center, along the edges of the custard area and outside of it looked tacky and stretched - it was definitely Very Undercooked (Raw). I tried calling but didn't get anyone and left a message. Went back the next day and the worker was very nice about it and asked what time of day did I buy it- morning? I said no. She couldn't offer a refund, but gave me a new Pistachio Bombilini. Came home and cut it 1/3 again, the amount of custard in this on is the size of a Quarter! It's literally 90% dough. All $8.00 of this. I'll eat the rest tomorrow, hopefully I just cut into a part that was filled less balanced, but this is already 30% of the doughnut. Their blue & gold branding is eye catching and they did a good job with the awkward location and narrow layout, but it all has the same theme - for show and no quality. Theres a second floor with more seating, and an outdoor converted blue school bus. The giant puffy baked goods and pretty Tiffany blue branding is just for show, not much underneath. $14 for small bottles of Prosecco, Rosé, Spritz. Not sure how much the coffee and teas are. There's savory sandwiches, pizzas, an area with brightly colored gelato. All of it looks unnatural, not particularly with any homemade Italian authenticity.

Superior Croissants and ham egg focaccia was warm and deliciously simple. So good that we came back at 3 for dessert-cannoli,red velvet cake and tiramisu!!! Took it back to our hotel to enjoy it w a glass if wine. We were so happy!!!

This was a grab and go type of experience as I had about less than 30 minutes before a show at Broadway Theatre (here lies love!). I appreciated that the service was quick, it was about 630pm. Have to admit, if I was not doing grab and go, I would've had my slice of pizza and then their gelato... but I guess there is after the show! The pizza was prized ok, with tax it was $8.86. I asked for it not to be warmed up, it's easier to chow down on it!

A nice spot to go to after watching a Broadway show. Lots of yummylicious pastries on display . I had the Angelina doughnut. Sweetness overload but the matching tea balanced it out. There are other comfort food available. Do not discouraged once you enter and see a line. It's moving quickly and there are tables and chairs upstairs. There are plenty of dining tables and chairs on patio as well. Beautiful bakery shop. European vibes but Asian themed flavor pastries. Worth stopping by.

Seriously. The desserts at Angelina are almost worth traveling to Midtown for alone. Came for a work trip but was EASILY drawn to Angelina because of their pastry offerings. While it's true I came for the giant round croissants and they didn't exist, I did get to try two other desserts (croissant and donut) and they were exquisite. So much so that I came back the next day to grab a slice of pizza. ALSO GREAT. If you're in Midtown, head down to Angelina's! The service is great, the place is cute, and the food is worth the line.

The place is cute but a bit touristy. We got a Le Mont Blanc donut and a burnt cheesecake. The burnt cheesecake was tasty, but the donut was dry. They also messed up my coffee order but otherwise was a nice spot to get dessert and coffee after dinner on a weekend night.

Actually all I bought at Angelina's Bakery was gelato. It was amazing and I didn't want to leave. I can't believe I had been going to NY for 12 years and that I've moved away...now I discover Angelina's on a weekend visit. The flavor I purchased was VARIEGATO AMARENA It was amazing. It had real cherries inside that were so delicious. There was this ribbon of raspberry or some type of berry. I would gladly gain pounds eating it again. Go to Angelina's on 1675 Broadway.

This place is super cute and in a prime location if you're going to a show. The vibes are adorable, nicely decorated, tons of photo spots. We ordered gelato, it was very good and tons of options! You order at the counter, everyone was nice.

Hubby has a sweet tooth so he always eats his way around town on every visit. Today, we were drawn to Angelina from their window display and had to go in. The pastries are certainly eye catching and according to hubby, very good. He got the Nutella bomboloni and a custard one as well. Both were light and he would have them again. For me, they are pricey at almost $6 but if hubby wants it, he can have it!

The pastries were good, but obviously one is paying a premium for them given the location. The space is. I e and large and bright so worth the price if you want somewhere to sit and relax for a few minutes

ALLERGEN WARNING I am allergic to nuts and am very diligent in asking if there are nuts in things. I really wanted those round stuffed croissants, but all they had ready were pistachio. The person behind the counter said don't worry, we have a chocolate one coming out of the oven in 5 mins. So I paid and waited. It looked amazing! First bite was delicious. It was flaky and warm and had melty chocolate on it. Second bite I got some of the filling and it was Nutella. Luckily I've had that before and could stop myself. Just a bummer I asked and they still gave me nuts. I brought it back to them and they switched it out for a nut free strawberry version but I am not a strawberry fan and would have passed for something else had I known from the start. Not to mention, I was drowsy for the next few hours from the benadryl I had to take.

The hype is real! There were so many dessert options- my kids had gelato and bombolone and both were yummy. The wheel croissant texture was crispy and flaky, however the pistachios filling and coating was too sweet! I took most of it out and ate the croissant with minimal coating. My hubby had pistachios croissant (regular) and it was okay. We got the desserts in the evening, so of course it might have been sitting there for a bit. Service was ok, could be better at the cash counter.

I really like this spot for a nice bakery treat after a Broadway show! They have some excellent gelato, small flatbread, and all kinds of treats from bombolones and fruit tarts to cannoli and tiramisu. We had some pistachio, kinder bueno, and banana split flavored gelato, and a fruit tart, with a small matcha latte totaling around $40. The price is hefty, but not that unusual for new york especially in this area (around $10 for a double scoop gelato) There's seating inside on two floors and outside with a nice golden and marble aesthetic, with a matching stylish bathroom (no code required). Service is very fast and they appear well-staffed!

LOVED THE GELATO HERE!!! You have to try the hazelnut and pistachio it is so delicious and it was the perfect night cap after seeing Wicked on Broadway!

I came here late night for a coffee and dessert. It was my first time here and it was pretty busy. As I was waiting in line there was no person near the croissants/ donuts area so I thought I had to order near the cashier. But you have to order at the spot before you go to the cashier. This lady in front of me took forever to order, the cashier kept on running back to grab her desserts and croissants. When I got to the cashier with my pastry and donuts I told her I wanted a croissant which I forgot to order she told me I have to go back to the beginning of the line. I told her "thats unfair you were just running back and fourth for the lady in front of me to grab what she wanted but not what I want" and she just said "yea I know sorry". Thats so unfair. Be loyal to all your customers. But the coffee and the desserts were good overall.

We went here specifically to try the pastries, and the ones we had were great! I was disappointed that quite a few items were sold out by mid-day. I would have loved to have tried the raspberry cheesecake. I settled on a mixed berry croissant and an iced decaf americano with half and half. My husband had a Nutella croissant and an iced caramel latte. I would give the mixed berry croissant a 9 out of 10 - it was very good, with a nice brûlée around the edge of the custard center, and very fresh berries on top. My husband said his Nutella croissant was perfect, 10 out of 10. The caramel latte was also very good, on par with specialty coffee shops (9 out of 10). My decaf iced americano was very strong (for my taste), so if you love espresso this is the place for you! I have to give it an 8 out of 10 because it was a bit too strong for the half and half to cut through. I have to deduct one star for the lack of availability of several types/flavors of items. Our croissants were so good, we will try to return and get a few more items before leaving the city. The service was very efficient, and the workers who served us were friendly. We haven't tried the gelato or lunch/savory items yet. Tips - Come earlier in the day if you want something very specific. Cheesecake, chocolate, and Nutella items seem to sell quickly. We got the next to last Nutella croissant. Espresso is very strong here, so come here if you love pure strong Italian espresso. People ordered single and double shots to go, in little bitty to go cups. Bring a jacket if you'd like to sit inside because the A/C was blasting. We sat outside in the patio area.

Walking to this sandwich place and came across this bakery. Went into because the croissants were calling my name. Let me just say, I was in love. The croissant was so airy and buttery. There are many other pastry to choose so I would definitely come back tomorrow before I leave the city.

I was truly so excited to try this place. Heard nothing but great reviews and walked inside to some beautiful looking pastries. That's about where my good experience ended. Staff became super rude while I was deciding what I wanted and I finally decided on hot chocolate, a lemon meringue eclair and a pistachio croissant. Everything was absolutely. horrible. I'm going to start with the eclair being totally stuck to this piece of plastic in the box?? I think i was given an actual display piece. it was totally inedible. The croissant was hard as a literal rock and the hot chocolate tasted like melted Hershey kisses. This is probably the worst experience Ive ever had in a restaurant. Im so disappointed because it did look amazing but it didn't even come close to hitting the mark.

HIGHLY recommend this location. They were SO friendly and even let us sample a cannoli. We ended up getting strawberry and pistachios cannolis as well as cookies and cream gelato. The gelato was SO creamy. 10/10. Would definitely stop again!

Walked by this spot a few times during my trip to NYC and each time there was a line. Finally decided to try it and understand why there is always a line! The coffee was good, the pastries not only looked fantastic but they tasted delicious as well.

Wow did the people working here not want to be working here. I am gluten free so I get that going into a bakery and asking if anything is gluten-free isn't ideal, but the staff was so rude. Also the restaurant was kind of filthy. Won't be back.

I'd definitely love to try other desserts at this place, but I cannot recommend the tiramisu slice. Service was quick, and this dessert spot is such a cute spot with lots of seating, but this tiramisu slice was not good. There was a pool of coffee at the bottom of it, which made the cake unbelievably soggy. It seems that they use coffee and not espresso to make it, because the coffee flavor was almost nonexistent. Such a disappointment since it looked beautiful, but had zero taste at all. Would definitely love to try some of their other desserts, but would avoid the tiramisu

Got to the storefront around 2:30-3pm on a Sunday and there were only two cube croissants left! We had originally come for the rolly croissants, but settled on the pistachio cube due to the availability. Worker said the baker would be in soon, but they would have to see if they had the ingredients to make more (and even then it would be a few hours)? Also a little pricey for the size (over $8 for one), in my opinion. Took it to go and had it later in the evening. Once we cut it open, the filling gushed out - so take caution! I personally loved the pistachio flavor inside because it wasn't too overpowering and went well with the flaky outside of the pastry. Also thought the croissant wall had the right thickness ratio to compliment out the filling amount. If they were a little cheaper, I would definitely want to try some of the other pastries/desserts a different day!

Dang it... another failed bakery run in NY, the staff was a little rude I can tell the girl was getting annoyed because I was trying to decide which one I wanted and instead of waiting she just chose one for me and handed me the box I didn't even get to pick. lol the donut fell short of everything. Not sweet enough, not soft enough... just not enough anything... waste of 8$...

I traveled all the way from Virginia to try their hyped Rolly croissant and also was accompanying my friend who was traveling from overseas. We found parking in the garage next door. I put in the order on the self service kiosk outside and as soon as I entered I was called and told that those Rolly Croissants are not available. We were then given regular croissants but upon checking with Jennifer who was extremely nice and kind she told us those Rolly croissants will take some time we said sure we will wait. We started off on our cafe latte which was great and slice of cheese pizza. After like 10-15 minutes wait we were then given Strawberry and pistachio Rolly croissant and OMG those were insane and worth the drive and wait. Those were very flaky, crisp and soft inside, white the chocolate coating outside and the filling OMG out of this world. Ambiance and decoration inside was great too. I also got two Rolly croissants for the road too. Overall an excellent experience and will return to just have these from Virginia:) Thank you all at Angelina bakery you gave us a five star service.

I came here because I was craving ice cream, the first place had a line out the door and I thought let me see what else is around. I'm glad I stumbled onto this place. The food: 5/5 I ordered the gelato and it was a generous portion and the coconut was absolutely delicious. I believe there were pieces of coconut in it. The cookies n cream was equally as good with big pieces of the cookies you can see. I am not sure about other desserts as I did not try them. The service: 5/5. I ordered outside and went inside to pickup my order. I was a little confused so I asked an employee and showed him my phone. He picked up the ticket and immediately helped me, I was happy because there was quite a line in this place. This would be my pro tip, use the kiosk outside to get your stuff inside faster. The ambiance: 4.5/5. There is ample seating inside, outside and upstairs. The only drawback which did not make it a 5 star is that there is only one restroom on the ground floor. I saw how it can easily make a line if too many people need to use it.

This was way too expensive for the amount of gelato you're getting. $12 for the smallest scoops of ice cream I've ever seen. Ordered a double and the worker was hesitant to put it in a cone because I don't think he knew how to pile it on. He kind of had an attitude with us as well. The gelato was really good though. Would have loved more of it! Got the Caramel and Cookies and Cream. The restaurant is cute with seating upstairs.

Great gelato ice cream but overpriced and tiny servings. Strange service. Angelina's vibe is real European experience so their prices are higher. I can respect that. However, the quantity has to meet the quality of the experience and that was not my experience. We went up to the gelato bar and asked to try a sample. The worker was annoyed and told us we needed to pay first. Strange. Made us feel like we were annoying him. I've never been to an ice cream establishment and had to pay first to try a sample. Strange behavior. It's confusing because no gelato prices are listed anywhere. This would've been helpful to know that two tiny scoops are $10.50. way overpriced. But ok, sure, gourmet fancy gelato, I can get behind that. Then I'm expecting a $10.50 experience, right? The server gives me the most laughable portion sizes I've seen. Felt like a slap to the face. When I also asked for a cone he gave me attitude like it won't be good with two scoops. Just so strange all around. We ate upstairs. Nice lighting. Colorful cute place. By the time I got my tiny gelato I felt robbed, annoyed, and unexcited. Would not come back for gelato but maybe some of the other yummy looking stuff in the shop.

Angelina Bakery was truly a MUST to go visit while in New York. Everything was AMAZING and DELICIOUS - I am already missing the taste of their amazing desserts. The mousses were all so light and rich, the main ones that we tried being the pistachio and the strawberry flavored treats. The cannolis were also fantastic (neither dry nor mushy, as are most cannolis that I have tried). These, on the contrary, were perfectly crunchy and the filling was decadent. The food was truly a wonderful experience to enjoy in it of itself, however, the service and the ambiance leave a lot to be desired. The service was slow, messy, and confusing. They seemed extremely short staffed, lacking in communication, coordination, as well as space for guests. The 3 stars earned in this review come entirely from the food, as the service and ambience were severely lacking.

I went to this lovely spot because it was recommended to me. The staff who helped me went above and beyond, which was amazing! I ordered a white chocolate strawberry croissant as it was the one that was highly recommended. I got a complimentary Cakepop and 2 mini pistachio cannolis from the lovely lady who helped me because it was my birthday week. I will come back as everything I tried was amazing! This was one of my best NYC experiences. This place is a well-stocked bakery with savory lunch/snack options as well as many drink options. Ambiance is amazing and decor is clean and bright. Be sure to check it out as my experience was wonderful!

Very nice ambience here but desserts doesn't taste the best. The gelato tasted artificial. The lemon mousse outer layer was a very thick layer of white chocolate which was too sweet and over powering. The mousse was not the smoothest either. The burnt cheesecake didn't taste what we'd expect, it tasted more like a regular cheesecake. Overall, it's a good hangout place if you want to sit down and chat for hours but don't expect much from the desserts.

We came for desserts after a birthday dinner and the famous bombolonis barely had any filling in it. I've had the ones at the 38th location and those were bursting with filling.

Happened to be in the Times Square area and decided to try out Angelina after walking past the place seeing the great looking desserts from the window. Raspberry croissant and Nutela croissant (2.5/5) - when you think of croissants, you think of buttery layers of flakey dough. These croissants are the opposite with the layers being pretty dense. I'm not sure if it's because of the added flavors and the filling, but I personally wouldn't get these again. They look amazing, but they weren't exciting to eat. It's also a bit too much filling for my taste. While those were the only two items I tried, I would consider trying others and maybe it'll be a better experience

This place is great! After watching Harry Potter, I had gone to another cafe trying to get a latte, but their espresso machine was broken, they were out of the cream puff I wanted, and it was too packed to sit. Oh well, no coffee for me! Then, I found Angelina Bakery a few blocks away. They have kiosks outside to order so you don't have to wait in line, which was helpful because I ordered what I wanted and found a nice spot to eat, just before a big group got there! (It's spring break.) I ordered Nutella Croissant and a small oat milk cappuccino. The croissant was delicious! Another woman at the next table ordered the same thing and we both remarked how good it was! The only downside is that it's a bit messy to eat esp. with the cocoa powder on top. The cappuccino wasn't bitter and was a nice balance to the decadent croissant. Overall, I'll be back to try out the Strawberry Croissant and some of the other items. This bakery is a great place to stop if you are seeing a show or in midtown and looking for coffee and a great dessert!

Surprisingly large sandwiches on delicious bread. Not sure how I was supposed to eat it to I just ripped it up bare handed in Times Square. The kiosk order pickup is not intuitive but service was fast and it was well worth the calories.

What an incredible experience had dining at Angelina's! The food was absolutely scrumptious, the service was top-notch, and the pleasant, bright ambiance was absolute perfection! I'm not a huge Parisian-food lover but this experience has definitely broadened my horizons!

I stopped in this Italian bakery because the colors in the window caught my eyes after leaving a Broadway play. GLOWS: - The decor and ambiance is very nice - Although the shop is small, service was efficient and the shop worked to create a structure around where to order and pick up items. - They have a large variety of breads, pastries, drinks and gelato. - We were able to get a seat and stay in to enjoy our treats - The strawberry short cake was very fresh and fluffy and I didn't feel like I was overloaded on sugar when I finished.
