"Angelini Alimentari is the casual, all-day sister restaurant to Angelini Osteria—one of the best pasta spots in LA. But don’t come to Alimentari expecting a plate of tortellini at lunch hour. Instead, you’ll find salads, sandwiches (the meatball sub is a must), great coffee, and perhaps the best gelato we’ve had in Los Angeles. Its excellent outdoor patio doesn’t hurt either." - Brant Cox
"While we generally go for the meatball sub at this casual Italian spot in Beverly Grove, it’s a poorly-considered soggy mess waiting to happen. Instead, get the prosciutto sandwich, a salad, and some arancini (or one of the entree + dessert baskets they have for $19.50) that will make it to your outdoor viewing of Clueless intact. We also recommend having a gelato while you’re there as an appetizer." - jess basser sanders, brett keating
"Angelini Alimentari is an Italian brunch spot along Beverly that simply doesn’t feel like a brunch spot. There are no lines, no water-y bottomless mimosas, and no UCLA undergrads at the table over bragging about how close they are to throwing up right now. Order your food at the counter inside and go sit in the shade on their fantastic side patio. We usually get the eggs in purgatory, a pastry, and their ricotta toast, but can’t go wrong with anything here. You’re definitely getting some gelato for the walk to your car." - brant cox
"Just before the pandemic, Angelini Osteria realized it could reach a wider audience with a handy daytime destination with prepared foods, baked Italian pastries, and other picnic-ready items." - Matthew Kang
"Angelini Alimentary in Beverly Grove has generously portioned pasta, appetizer, and main entree trays that can be selected a la carte to feed big groups. Choices include brasato al barolo and beef tenderloin roast (interestingly, there’s no turkey). See the selections right here." - Matthew Kang
