My parents wanted pasta for lunch in Sausalito, and out of all the choices, I liked Angelino. I did think it was more on the water, but they placed our table sitting at the window, so we had a nice view of the water from our area.
There was only one other party occupied at lunch time, but we did go on a slow Monday. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. They do charge for bread here, and we ordered a half basket of their fresh bread, which was warm and good.
We were accidentally given dinner menus, but we noticed the lunch menu wasn't too different in prices.
I was debating between the gnocchi primavera, especially since it came with fresh mushrooms, or the hand cut ravioli, but the waiter swayed me to get the ravioli. I was happy to switch as I'm a sucker for handmade pasta. My mom got the anelli alla pescatore, swapped for linguine pasta. My dad chose the mare e orto, which was perfect since it fit the $15/person bill they have. Our food came out quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. I enjoyed my ravioli, although it was a little heavy on the oil and butter for me, it was really tasty. My mom said it was one of the best pastas she has ever had, and she really eats a lot of seafood pasta dishes! My dad also really enjoyed his meal with all the fresh seafood.
We loved our experience here, and will be back again!
