Absolutely delicious! I'm only sad that I didn't discover this place sooner. As soon as you walk in, it's a very welcoming/cozy vibe. The murals on the walls paired with the lights set the perfect atmosphere. The chicken piccata was the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

Very authentic, fresh Italian. We really enjoyed our dinner.

We go here often. The food is really great and you will never leave hungry. All your classic favs are here and taste amazing. Service is top notch. It’s not a huge place, nor too small. Perfect size for a comfortable vibe. Servers are great. I’m biased because my son works there but seriously, the staff all around is great. Family owned and you can tell again due to the person-ability of the place. One of my favorites.

The mushroom bisque and the Brussels sprouts with burrata were amazing! A quaint place that keeps long hours for those who need post concert nourishment.

My brother and new sister-in-law hosted the rehearsal dinner for their wedding here on June 21st. The food was great, but the staff in particular was lovely. They were very attentive without being hovering, they were all pleasant to interact with, and they all did well moving around in tight spaces with all of the guests moving around. As someone who has been a server and bartender, I was impressed 👍. Excellent job everyone.

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while since it was highly recommended by a friend of mine. Unfortunately, I didn't think that the food was as good as some of their competitors. The place is cute and nicely decorated with lots of Italian flair. It also has a section in the back that can be sectioned off for a private party. They have a small section in front of the building that they sectioned off and utilize as an outdoor patio. The service was very good and our waitress did a great job. I just wished that towards the end of the night they didn't start sweeping the carpet while patrons are still eating. You could feel the dust that was being pushed into the air every time you took a breath through your nose. If I go back, I'm going to make sure that is not towards the end of the night. I definitely don't want to go through that again.

Google
The food is very good, above average but not super high end , however the price reflects the food so it makes sense. The service is phenomenal and they are very quick to check on you often. The atmosphere is ok, and what you would expect for a typical Italian pizzeria, yet this place is so much more. My opinion (which means nothing) I'd love to see black tablecloths to really make this place more classy.

Google
Angeli's held our rehearsal dinner and catered our wedding. I would highly recommend this establishment any time. The Angeli's crew is a pleasure to work with, and we are very happy with the food, service, and price. Tony and his staff went above and beyond to ensure a great customer experience. Tony, being the owner, cares so much, he was folding napkins and bussing tables to ensure he was helping his staff. We also had dinner there several times for fun and everything was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've been driving past this place for decades, and never stopped. My loss. Here is a top-class Italian with a friendly vibe and inviting atmosphere. On a business dinner with the Ides Of March, and the fellow who was hiring us to play a private party at his Naperville Estate. Toni the Owner's Wife selected a number of things to start our meal off. Calamar' were butter-tender and ever-so-lightly breaded. A common appetizer, but lifted to another level here. We also had the grilled Calamar' which were superb. Breaded Artichokes were a true surprise, tasty as hell. The Burrata and Bruschetta were delicious, as was the Salsicc' and Peppers. Pre-Dinner, Tony the owner said not to miss the house-made Clam Chowder and he was 1000% correct. This bowl rivals the stuff I've had in Boston and Rhode Island-no lie. For Entree, I had "Beef Filet Vesivio". It was excellent. I ordered it "rare" and it was perfectly cooked and spiced. Tirami-su was splendid in a Martini Glass. The perfect portion for this rich dessert. Our bass player Bob is a Wine Expert and picked a great Red to accompany our meal. I'm an idiot, and forgot to ask what it was. Sinatra and the like for the background music, which is always a nice touch. One time where the cliché is most welcome. Throwing 5 for outstanding bread and circuses. Parking is easy. Don't be a fool and drive past this place-stop and have a great feed!

Yelp
I haven't been to this restaurant in years as I didn't care for it after a number of visits. So glad we tried Angeli's again this past weekend. We loved it! We were warmly greeted when we walked in by a gentleman, thinking may be a family member since this is a family owned establishment. My husband and I chose to sit at the bar. Kirsten was the bartender this evening and she was engaging and friendly. My husband had an old-fashioned and I had a Sicilian lemonade martini. Both good. We decided not to do any appetizers and just stuck to entrées to nit overeat. Both our entrées came with a salad. My husband had the house salad, and I had the Caesar salad for an upcharge, which was huge. I ended up sharing it with my husband because his salad was much smaller. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp with a very tasty Caesar dressing. For our entrées my husband chose the Angry Butterflies, which was bow tie pasta in a spicy sauce with Italian sausage and mushrooms. He loved it, especially the kick of heat. I order edible the Rigatoni Arugula, which was rigatoni, arugula, tomatoes, pine nuts, and capers in a lemon butter sauce. It was delicious! I'm not sure if this restaurant makes their pasta in house or not, but it was good. The entrées were generous in size that we were able to take home our food to enjoy again. This 100% Italian girl gives the food her stamp of approval. There are lots of choices on the menu and they work with you if you have an allergy. During our interactions with Kirsten, I mentioned how much I love a crema di limoncello. I told her my favorite was from Italy and that I couldn't get it here in the US. She told me that she could make a really good crema di limoncello . I accepted her invite to make me one. She was dead on with the taste, but it wasn't as thick as what I bought in Italy. I told her I would be back just for her to make me a crema di limoncello again. I would recommend Angel'is for the good food and the friendliness of the staff. I also thought the pricing was reasonable. I'm so glad we gave this restaurant a try again. I can see this becoming my neighborhood hangout for good Italian food.

Yelp
Celebrated a special milestone tonight--our son's graduation! The restaurant delivered a perfect evening for our party of 10, combining stellar service with mouthwatering dishes. What a wonderful way to honor our graduate. We had everything from shrimp Diablo, chicken Parmesan, to the chicken Marsala and trio appetizer. I highly recommend this restaurant! I wish we could bring it back to Oklahoma with us.

Yelp
3rd party we've had Tony and his team cater. Amazing food topped only by our favorite and awesome server Jen. She makes having 70 people over enjoyable and fun. Thanks again Tony and Jen!

Yelp
We came here with a really large party, so we were sat in a private room. This was great so there was a ton of space to talk to everyone. The servers were outstanding. They were friendly and very accommodating!! I ordered the Pescatori in white wine sauce. The portion was huge! The ceasar salad that came with it was delicious. I liked my meal a lot, since there was lots of seafood in it. My husband ordered the Veal Joey, which was okay. The clam chowder he ordered with his entree was great. We ordered crème brûlée for dessert and it was perfect. The chocolate chip bread pudding was incredible as well. I also had a cappuccino that was great to cap off the meal! This is a nice Italian restaurant in Naperville.

Yelp
Just had dinner at Angeli's. This is a great place. The food is ample and delicious. The staff really hustles to provide great service. This was a Saturday night and every table was occupied. So it is noisy but the food and service make up for it.
google avatar

Carolyn M.

Yelp
It used to be great. Now it's barely average. The bartenders and severs are fantastic. Service is the best. Food is not good.

Yelp
I was that person, who wanted to go to Angeli's on a Saturday night without a reservation. I was going to wait. I know there was going to be a wait. I didn't mind waiting. Of course Angeli's is located in a strip mall because so many restaurants in the suburbs seem to be, and as I've passed by this restaurant many a times, Angeli's is always busy. When it was time to be sat the hostess called me by last name and didn't butcher it either. Being led through a busy Italian restaurant on a Saturday night, you knew you were in for a treat because the smells were just what I wanted. Italian food for me is one of my comfort foods and that's exactly what Angeli's is. A comfortable solid Italian experience with a food and drink menu that did not disappoint, at all. I assume it was one of the managers did stop by our table to ask if we were ok. He was checking on every single table to ensure everyone was fine. Taking note of a nearby table I couldn't help notice that the bussers took great pride in ensuring that the table was clean and the place setting was perfect. No crooked napkin or fork or anything on the table was out of place. It was great to see that everything had to be perfect on that table. The food as I opted for our servers recommendation was excellent. I need and want to come back to try everything on the menu, it's like that. I felt welcomed and had an experience that is well thought out and appreciated. The entire staff show passion in what they do, that's apparent and will bring me back time and time again.

Yelp
had dinner with my wife and she has Alzheimer's. she was in the bathroom and hostess walked in and talking to another employee. this hostess was making fun of her because she was talking to herself in the mirror.. the hostess was telling another employee and looked at my wife and laughing.. I approached her and advised she has Alzheimer And what she did was wrong. She didn't care and thought it was funny. another customer jumped in and advised her it was wrong and she should apologize. Evidently the younger generation as no respect. THIS IS ANGELOS IN ROSEMONT WHERE TARGET IS. IF YOU WANT TO PATRONAGE A PLACE THAT MAKES FUN OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES GO AHEAD BUT WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF THIS WAS YOU. Never again going there and spreading the word.

Yelp
Best Italian in the state. Chicken parm is 10/10, love the bar area, steak here is also great . Have never had a bad meal here

Yelp
First time to this restaurant in Naperville! Located on a strip mall that has been there for over 25 years! We had reservations and were quickly seated. We ordered lasagna and chicken piccata, which we feel it's a standard Italian dinner. The lasagna was good. My husband enjoyed the sauce that had sausage in it and the flavor was that of a pizza. The chicken piccata was a different matter. Presentation is important, the chicken was hidden by a jar amount of capers. That looked like someone just threw it on top carelessly!!! I like capers but that was crazy. I had to scrape it off the chicken to see the chicken! Usually capers are blended into the sauce and spooned onto the chicken. The sauce was watery with a slight lemon flavor. The chicken was over cooked which made it difficult to cut with the butter knife that was available. Usually the chicken is gently cooked with a flour coating. The broccoli was slightly blanched and was difficult to eat. It needed to be cooked more. A fork should easy pierce the vegetables . Not mushy but not off the plant, there is an in between. We might come back to try the pizza or lasagna again. They do have a variety of different meals and have a party room, but the basics have to be right!

Yelp
Well Hell. I think the dining in experience is probably much better than the taking out, because the taking out was disappointing. We ordered dinner for 5 because some of the proceeds went to St. Pat's last night- an admirable gesture. But based on the quality of the food, we should have eliminated the middle man and donated directly to St. Pat's. The pasta fagioli soup was cold, thin gruel and lacked any advantage over the canned stuff you can buy at walmart. And the Chicken Piccata had the texture of a deck of playing cards (try biting down on a deck of cards sometime). It was hard, thin, and dry. I guess the spaghetti with meat sauce was serviceable. We were given the wrong order and were called at the halfway point of the drive home, so we went back and picked up our cold dry food. We should have kept the incorrect order, as it was probably hotter and fresher. Anyway, stuff happens, but when stuff happens and you pay handsomely for it, it leaves you wanting to write a yelp review.

Yelp
I find the food to be exceptional, the spicy Shrimp Diavolo linguine was perfect, just the right amount of kick. The Shrimp, extra large were beautiful. A great dish if you're looking for some kick in your dish. Their Pasta fagio was very good along with the Caesar salad dressing which was quite tasty. We tried their stuffed mushrooms, stuffed with sausage, also quite good. We were not disappointed in any of the food we ate. Our server, Kristen was quite helpful with our wine selection, her take on the food we ordered and the dessert selection of Kristen's homemade Spumante , this had to be the best Spumante I've ever eaten. We like this place, it says Italian when you walk in, the decor is very nice. As for any suggestions, I've been to other Italian restaurants which offer stuffed banana peppers, I know how good they can be as an appetizer, It would be nice for Angeli's to consider this as an addition. Would I recommend and return, most definitely.

Yelp
I researched A LOT of catering services for my daughter's graduation. Angeli's had great reviews, so when they were recommended to me by a reputable source, I immediately placed my order with them. Tony called me right away and went through my order, made great suggestions, and was so helpful! He made the process so easy for me. The pasta with the vodka cream sauce is to die for! I could eat the sauce out of the bowl by itself-mmmm! The chicken piccata was so tender. The meatballs were the perfect size and so tasty. My fav were the caprese kabobs- perfect for an outdoor summer party- they went fast! They are generous with their servings, all the way down to the salad dressings. It didn't taste like a typical catered meal, it tasted like GiGi had been cooking in our kitchen . A+!!!

Yelp
Angeli's was a fantastic family restaurant! The food was delicious, and the bread pudding dessert was amazing . I highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
cozy neighborhood pizzeria, cocktail bar and restaurant. Love chicken marsala and complimentary soup or salad. Chicken parmesan is good. Mar-Tony drink is lovely!

Yelp
Just had experience with both catering and dine in. Attended a friend's birthday party that was being catered and it was wonderful. All of the food was delicious, meatballs and bacon wrapped dates were to die for, and the service was fantastic. Just a few days later I took 7 of my coworkers there for dine in and it was perfect. Tony was very welcoming and our server Vicky was outstanding. Portions are very generous and tasty. I had the mushroom ravioli and I will be back for it again. The chicken parm was very well received by all that had it. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Had a quick stop at Angeli's for dinner last week and it was an ok experience. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday night, but we were able to get a table pretty quickly for 3. The table bread was really good. The eggplant Parm was... Not my fave. They do offer gluten free pasta option, which was cool. Overall a nice place and good service.

Dave L.

Yelp
Everything here is amazing you feel like family Food is great, service and ambiance all top rate One of our regular go to places

Yelp
Giving this local spot in Naperville a 4-star rating. It was my first time having the Chicken Vesuvio, and it was pretty top notch. The white wine sauce with the roasted garlic was soooo good. I tossed all my veggies/chicken/potatoes into the sauce. I also tried Pasta e fagioli for the first time. It was a pleasant sausage/pork forward chili-like pasta soup. I did try the Crab Ravioli, but it wasn't my favorite and not nearly as good as the Chicken Vesuvio. The Cannoli was well-done (very much enjoyed by the others on the table who like Cannolis), and the Tiramisu was yummy.

Jerry P.

Yelp
Great service and a warm inviting atmosphere all around Food excellent with a lot to choose from Extra special delight when the chef came to our table

Yelp
I was in town for business and was looking for a good Italian place. I found Angelis on Yelp, read the reviews and was off and running. From the outside, it was very unassuming but once you walked in, wow. it was busy but I found a spot at the bar. It's always fun sitting at the bar as there is typically more interaction. This was no different. I started off with the special salad and had lasagna for my main. I really enjoyed the food. The salad was done really well. I enjoyed the lasagna but didn't understand the broccoli that came with it. Service was really good especially because they were very busy. Overall it was a good experience and I would return when I am in the area.

Yelp
The he best Italian in Naperville, we come every year over the holidays and it is never a disappointment; this year I got the sea bass special and the flavor and cook on the fish was exceptional

Van L.

Yelp
It is very mid, the food is acceptable but not wowing us. Service was good. Interior needs a lighting upgrade for sure.

Andrea D.

Yelp
Ordered the lemon chicken, needed more flavor. They made it gluten free so that was helpful.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Amazing service and staff. The new bar area is beautiful. Food is yikes. My alfredo was a gloppy, flavorless mess; my daughter's bolognese was crushed tomato sauce mixed with ground beef. Everything tasted like it came out of a can or jar.
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Angeli's restaurant and we were very happy the servers were so pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, the spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely delicious we also had the sausage and peppers appetizer oh my good I wanted to go look in the kitchen to see if my mom was back there it was the best ever the servings are so plentiful you will never leave hungry I can't wait to go back try the raviolis my daughter in law said they are extremely flavorful and she would know, I would recommend this if your looking for authentic Italian.
google avatar

Yelp
Incredibly delicious food and old world Italian charm. Everything we ordered was top-notch from drinks to desserts. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I've been searching for good Italian food ever since moving from the city. Had some friends over on a Friday night and we ordered takeout from Angeli's. We ordered the rotini with vodka sauce, sausage pizza, clam chowder soup and shrimp Dijon. The rotini with vodka sauce was absolutely inedible. The pasta barely came with any sauce (as you can see from the picture) the noodles did not taste fresh and the chicken was extremely dry. The pizza was decent, the clam chowder was pretty good, and the shrimp Dijon was very plain with barely any sauce and only came with three shrimp for $18. We spent $100 on takeout for four people and all four of us agreed that it wasn't even close to being worth it. I haven't been this disappointed in a meal in a long time. None of us would order from here again. Maybe the food is better when you dine in!
google avatar

Hailey M.

Yelp
Excellent service lovely atmosphere. Very sweet and kind staff Very heartwarming and welcoming. Food is authentic and every dish looks beautiful 10 out of 10 recommend! So many flavors :)

Yelp
Delightful neighborhood restaurant that keeps expanding! The service and food are great. Delicious house salad but disappointing that the kitchen used canned black olives not kalamata olives. Very surprised. Wonderful service by Valerie. Always fun to go there although it can be loud.

Dave K.

Yelp
Superb! Everything about Angeli's is top shelf! Was visiting family in the Rockford area and decided we would have dinner there about a 90 mile drive! The food was as good as we remember it to be as we no longer live in the Chicago area We started with shrimp dejonghe which was so full of flavor and could have had another order. Then we had salads with the best creamy garlic dressing and finally the veal piccata which is really the best we've had at any Italian restaurant! Tony really does things right and all the staff are friendly and warm to make the experience even better! Will always go out of our way to eat at Angeli's!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
went with a friend last week. the good...our server toni was wonderful, and the two busboys were as well. just adorable, and hard working. the salad was delicious, as was the grilled calamari. the bad... my chicken piccata was tough, and pretty tasteless. actually, really tough.
google avatar

Jeff J.

Yelp
Food was so much better than the last time we ate there. Is there a new chef? Absolutely fantastic. Seafood ravioli was fresh and the cream sauce was full of flavor. Mushroom marinara was long simmered and had a great depth of flavor. I say go back, give em another chance if you have had doubts in the past!

Pam W.

Yelp
We had a last minute need for a funeral dinner for 20 people, on a Saturday evening, on Mother's Day weekend. Angeli's was able to accommodate us in their private dining room and the service and food were amazing! Most of the guests were from out of town and they were all very impressed with Angeli's. Many thanks to the Angeli family and staff!
google avatar

Jeff N.

Yelp
It's a place close by that I want to love but each time we go there I remember why we shouldn't go back. Our party tonight was 4. The greeting, server and service assistants were fantastic. It was an early dinner on a Saturday night. The wine was great. The fried artichoke hearts, that we loved last visits, were mostly the outer bitter inedible leaves. 3 out of 4 dinners were enjoyed. I'm the lucky one that didn't. Chicken Marsala breasts were overcooked. Hard and stringy. Tilapia special looked good. Gnochi was raved about. Stuffed something was enjoyed. Summary. Great service Almost all food enjoyed $50 a person

Chris L.

Yelp
Thank you to Angeli's for my husband's special birthday dinner! We had planned to go to Houlihan's and found it was closed! Quickly we called Angeli's and we could have a table waiting for us! Not only did we have two delicious dinners served by their excellent staff, BUT they even delivered their delightful lemon ice dessert with a candle on top AND they sang "Happy Birthday"! You saved the day! Many, many thanks!!!
google avatar

Michele H.

Yelp
WOW!!!! We were blown away by the fantastic food and great service. This was our first time here and we can't wait to go back. Celebrated my sons birthday and Tony, the owner, asked his name, to personalize it, and all the wait staff came to sing happy birthday. It's was really a great touch that makes this place a standout!!! And the FOOD..... it speaks for itself. We started with the fried artichoke hearts. They were juicy and flavorful and so delicately breaded, and not a trace of greasiness. Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken Marsala, Veal Parmigiana, Chicken Armenta did not disappoint! Each one was so flavorful and spectacularly satisfying. The by the glass wine selection was outstanding. And DESERT!!!!! Tiramisu in a martini glass, Limoncello Cheesecake and Dark Death by Chocolate fed all of us with some to bring home. If you are looking for a fantastic family friendly Italian place to make your go to restaurant Angeli's IS IT!!!!!

Rodney E.

Yelp
We have been here m any times, and it doesn't disappoint. Food is consistently good, service is spot-on. It's old-school Italian. If you like old-school italian Angeli's should be on your list
google avatar

Yelp
Haven't been here in quite some time, but I'm now curious why. We started with a crab cake appetizer. It was very good. I ordered one of the nightly specials, Sausage Pomodor. Sliced Italian sausge, peppers, and a spicy red sauce (spicy by requst) served over linguine. Very good. Wife ordered another daily special; Roasted Gnocchi. The dishes were delicious, and also huge. (We had the same dinner the next day with the leftovers.) Nice wine list, too. We had a very nice bottle of Primitivo. Wine prices are reasonable compared to some restaurants that literally charge three times retail price for a bottle. Our server, Therese, was awesome, too. It was a great evening at a great restaurant. We'll be back.
google avatar

Ayesha S.

Yelp
The food is great American-Italian classics The ambiance feels a bit old, but in a cozy familiar way. The service was attentive and kind. I have no complaints about this restaurant. I used this restaurant for catering as well, and the portions were generous and the price was right!

Dwight C.

Yelp
my daughter and her boyfriend had made a reservation here several weeks ago. After they had been seated and been served their drinks they were tole they had to move....no apology was give just "someone else had reserved that specified table". The issue is my daughter can't walk, so moving for her is a big deal. Her boyfriend is a great guy and did not make a stink, and paid the bill (nothing was offered for their trouble of moving) and left. I found out what happened as we were eating Angeli's takeout....which i have been a fan of for years. I stopped in two weeks ago and spoke to the assistant manager, explained my concern at what happened, left my card and gave him the boyfriends's cell....figuring they would reach out to him to make amends....so far nothing. We are done with Angeli's.

Yelp
Great Place, had dinner there tonight for my Wife's birthday & it was a success ! Caprese, he salad and shrimp Dijon for a great appetizer from the spaghetti to the veal everything was cooked to perfection
google avatar

Thomas E.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise. We were invited by another couple to join them here for dinner, and everything about this place was amazing. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and the food was really amazing as well. I had the eggplant parmigiana, which I often try at other places, and it was truly the best I've ever had. Can't wait to get back and try other dishes as well.
google avatar

Glenda R.

Yelp
Food was delicious I just wish that our service was better organized by the host and kitchen. We had a rather large party for a family member (15 people) and rather than putting us in the back room away from the entrance and exit - we were right in the front having to move during our dining experience. When ordering our food I feel as if providing kids meals first is a known thing to push first, rather almost all 9 adults were served their foods first before the kids, which was harder to maneuver and prep for the toddlers we had especially since we didn't have much room to work with.

Nate S.

Yelp
Everything was great! -efficient dinner service spaced well with good recommendations -great good, pasta was fresh made and even the house salad was high quality with a well arranged plate -pricing is good too We will surely be back!

Yelp
Nice ambiance-always crowded.great martinis. Food is very good yet smaller servings. Great bar atmosphere for dinner

Yelp
I used Angeli's to cater for my wedding at Wilder Mansion. They are one of their preferred vendors and no wonder why; the service and the food are incredible. My now husband and I, did not have to worry about anything. My guest loves everything we picked and were looking for leftovers. Tony thank you and your staff for such a wonderful day. You all played such an important role.
