I rarely leave reviews, but this place earned it.
Let’s start with the coat check, because somehow it set the tone for everything that followed. Chaotic, disorganized, and handled with a level of indifference that immediately makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing the staff by existing. No clear system, no accountability, just vibes—and bad ones.
Service overall is painfully inconsistent. Staff seem overwhelmed, disengaged, or both. You’re left waiting, guessing, and recalibrating expectations in real time. There’s an unmistakable sense that the operation is running on autopilot, assuming people will tolerate anything because the place has a name.
The atmosphere? Overhyped and uncomfortable. Not in a “cool, edgy Brooklyn” way—more like cramped, stressful, and poorly managed. Everything feels slightly hostile: the flow of people, the pacing, the interactions. You don’t feel welcomed; you feel processed.
What’s most frustrating is that this could all be excused if the experience justified it. It doesn’t. The arrogance-to-quality ratio is completely out of balance. If you’re going to treat guests like they’re lucky to be there, you should at least deliver something memorable in return. Instead, you get mediocrity wrapped in attitude.
There are too many places in this city that actually respect their customers to waste time here. This wasn’t just disappointing—it was actively unpleasant. Won’t be back, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time, money, or patience.
