Store has a good variety of products, but the staff were strangely rude to my friends and I. They kept hovering around while we were browsing the manga, and making it pretty clear that they wanted us to leave faster than we were. I wanted to buy at least one thing since we had been there longer than they wanted, but eventually gave up and just left without buying anything because they were making us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Also overheard them treating another group of customers similarly. I don’t know why you’d keep such a big stock of stuff if you don’t want people to spend at least a few minutes deciding what they want.

Dropped by the store with my nephew while on a long weekend trip from Montreal. I found the selection in the store to be great, the staff attentive and very helpful. (If you have a problem with the staff here, its clearly a YOU problem) Left with two new purchases. :))

The shop lives up to its name, the store is small so there is a a limit on how many can be I there which is appreciated because you can move around the aisles with ease. Since you need to drop your bag off at the counter, I would want to get a ticket/badge back so no one takes my bag accidentally. The store is filled to the tops with figures, build kits, manga and merchandise. They have a massive variety of characters so there is something for everyone. In terms of cost the products are on the pricey side. The staff where very nice and I would go back to treat myself to a kit sometime.

The guy with glasses at the cash (the owner) was so rude at every interaction. Rude and demanding about leaving our bags. Freaked out at a family coming in with a stroller. I was asking one of his employees about Astro Boy blind box’s and he answered for her “we don’t carry any Astro Boy!” Dude was genuinely mad about the question. I don’t know what Astro Boy did to this guy but he’s carrying a grudge. He’s also mean to his employees. Snapping his fingers at his employees to follow potential patrons in the store. In contrast we ended up down the street at Toronto Collective where we were treated with respect and they were great with our kids. Spent $300 there! Peace.

Purely due to their poor customer service, I refuse to purchase from this store. While I understand the leaving the bag at the counter rule, I don’t understand not allowing your phones on the floor and no photos. I was taking a picture of a figure and the worker told me there’s signs saying no photos. If that’s a rule like the bags, that should be stated on entrance, instead the experience was made uncomfortable. Everything is priced up aggressively. It’s unfortunate honestly because it’s the only store in the area with a larger selection of figures, and the entrance is cool. Genuinely just buy elsewhere and avoid supporting this shop as (based on other reviews as well) they clearly do not care about their customers.

I’ve always liked this store — I’ve spent a lot of money here on SH Figuarts, Figma, and other stuff because I thought it was a great spot. But when I went in the other day, the guy with glasses at the register was straight-up rude for no reason. It was a terrible experience and honestly makes me not want to come back.

Recently visited this anime collection store with my husband and infant a few Saturdays ago. Unfortunately, our excitement was short-lived. As we approached the store with our stroller, the owner/manager immediately stopped us from entering, citing "no room for strollers." We were disappointed and felt unwelcome as potential customers. A simple solution, such as suggesting we leave the stroller outside or offering alternative arrangements, would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt like our business wasn't valued. Families with strollers shouldn't be turned away without consideration. However, after reading the negative reviews, it feels like the poor customer service has been an ongoing thing. We left and visited Collective down the street where the owner greeted us, even said hi to my daughter and we ended up buying something from the store. The owner of Anime Xtreme can learn something from him.

Terrible establishment. As much as I love the variety of figures they sell here, the service is the worst. The guy at the register looked at my friend and me in a very bad way. He also looked at us dirty when we took out our phones to check something. The prices are ridiculously high, even for the type of figures they sell. And worst of all, when my friend and I wanted to see what was there, they followed us as if we were going to steal something. Terrible place.
