"In an alley in White Center is a little bar that serves some delicious Korean food. Almost all of the snacks at Anju have kimchi involved in some way, so you’ll appreciate it especially if you love spice. Everything’s great, but we recommend the fried rice with spam and the popcorn chicken with gochujang. Chase it all down with a cocktail, or take it to-go to eat it at Beer Star around the corner." - Aimee Rizzo

"White Center’s Anju Bar and Eatery, with a focus on Korean drinking food, is open. The bar’s name refers in Korean to “food eaten with alcohol,” and the menu reflects that, with dishes like kimchi poutine, deep-fried kimchi mac and cheese balls, Korean fried chicken, and a handful of beer, wine, and cocktail options." - Megan Hill

We've all heard Whitecenter has been the up incoming spot for the past few years. It's finally come to fruition with incredible additions like Anju. An incredible addition to the neighborhood. The interior is rather small, but it's a perfect place to pony up to the bar for a cheap drink and insanely low priced food. The food had some mind blowing flavor combinations with exceptional portions for under $8. It's hard to recommend a certain dish, just grab them all.

We drove by a little confused, and parked down the road and walked up. It was the cutest little Ally way Korean bar. Make sure you find a seat at the bar or stand outside with your friends and order from the cute garage door windows. They are a green restaurant so no pretty plates or cutlery but I think that makes it way easier for clean up and turn around for space. Get there at a decent time for dinner because they fill up with people fast, and from what we heard around the bar they also run out of the good stuff by the end of the night. We tried 3 things fried rice, poutine, and fried chicken, It was all amazing the chicken was so yummy and crispy and sweet. The poutine had huge cheese curds, and the fried rice was very flavorfull, all of it was easy to share with another person and still bring food home. The bartenders were very friendly, the ordering was super easy, and they'll let you try any beer you have a question about! Their kimchi is extra spice and is sold as an extra cup with your food. Get it, and if you don't finish it take it home!!

The food was super tasty, I went with 3 other people and we ordered one of everything. They have a decent beer selection. My partner ordered one of the cocktails and it was unique and delicious. They have a good HH, $3 off all dishes. I took a star away for the bartenders attitude. When we came in and inquired about a table he was short and unwelcoming.

We went here for the first time and it was awesome! The fired chicken bites was delicious and that had just enough crunch. We are got their spicy Raymun that hit the spot. The drink selection for beer was on point and the bartenders are super friendly. There’s an outside eating area that’s nice and we are definitely comIng back!

Anju has quickly become our go-to place for happy hour or just a good drink in White Center. There’s usually a great new cocktail or Korean snack to try and we have never been disappointed with what we get. The bartender is always friendly and helpful which makes being there even more enjoyable.

The Koko Moco was so delicious! Korean twist on the Hawaiian classic, instead of white rice they use kimchi fried rice. So flavorful, its one of the best things I've had in a while! Will definitely go back for that! The koreadilla was also very tasty, their take inn quesadilla.

Anju is a pretty spacious hole in the wall. The food is crazy good, and super affordable, leaving you enough funds to order one of their PHENOMENAL cocktails. I ordered the Bartender's Choice first which was $8 on HH and was some amazing Korean twist on a daiquiri. I asked the bartender for the least sweet cocktail he could make and he went ahead and made the most amazing thing I think I've ever tasted. This place is very cool and we are definitely going back soon. I almost don't want to tell anyone about it so it never gets packed but our friends made a good point, we don't want them to go out of business! Also, the draft list was very good.

Amazing Korean fusion bar. Unique concoctions, and creative takes on Korean inspired bar food. Excellent service. Good for groups, though the place itself is medium sized. Perfect for after work happy hour 😁 Moderately priced. It doesn't have it's own parking lot/space so that can be a challenge.
