The 10 Best Thai Restaurants In Houston

"Sunk into a far corner of Chinatown’s Hong Kong Market’s food court, you might have to adjust your vision to take in all of Anna Thai Food to pick out the actual human being standing inside the tiny, mega-packed stall. And despite the size, Anna Thai Food’s menu is fairly long. We suggest staying focused on the noodle dishes and anything in which you can add a fried egg. Swing in here for a quick lunch and Thai tea, and don’t mind the surrounding tables of folks playing cards or repackaging giant shipments of vacuum-sealed meats. This is a safe space." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene

Where to Find the Best Thai Food in Houston | Eater Houston

"Located in Bellaire’s Hong Kong Food Market, this low-key family restaurant offers quick service and standout dishes, like fried catfish with kaffir lime leaves, pad woon sen, and a classic pad Thai. Beware, Anna’s takes its spice levels seriously, but rest assured — its Thai teas or iced coffee can help drown out any residual heat." - Brittany Britto Garley

Traditional and delicious Thai food in Asian Market food court. Be advised easy entrance is on back side of market. Second stand to the right. Fresh ingredients and great customer service. Ordered mango sticky and thai iced tea with main dishes. Food was amazing. Highly recommended!

Google
This is a hidden gem. I was traveling in Texas and I came across this place by accident. Got Yen Ta Fo. Excellent! Not many Thai restaurants in the US have this noodle soup. So I came back again few days later to get Pad Woon Sen (also not widely available) Oustanding! I used to eat in the Thai town in Los Angeles for many years when I lived there. Anna is simply the best Thai restaurant I experienced outside of Thailand and Los Angeles. I still have not found one comparable to LA Thai town in nyc.

Google
Tom yum is my Favorite Thai Food, and I would rate their Tom Yum a 10/10! It was so good. Photo will not give justice on how much like it. I will definitely be back! Their Pad thai is also so good. Worth the money! 💯 this is inside the mall, like a food court so don’t expect too much on how beautiful the place is but it’s clean and quiet. Nevertheless, their food tastes great! 👍🏽

Google
Excellent Guay Jub(S9) tucked away in an older mall. A step back in time where you can find an array of many Asian restaurants. We liked Thai and so we got it.

Google
You would be mistaken thinking you're getting subpart Thai food because it's located in Hong Kong city mall plaza food court, but boy this place delivers. Food is amazing for the price. We got the bbq pork skewer, crab fried rice, and the pad see ew. BBQ pork skewer is super juicy and the you're getting a lot of crab in the fried rice. Pad see ew was damn good

Google
We got two orders each of the Pad Kee Mao noodles and Special Fried Rice to go. The portions were generous. My family loved the noodles. The fried rice was also good. It would have been better than 5 stars if the beef was a little more tender. Maybe thinner cut. We’re definitely going back again. Very friendly place.

Google
The food is good. Waiting time is about 10 minutes for 3 dishes. It's acceptable. I don't like the table and chairs there. They're so close to each other. The space shares the common ground of the Hong Kong market. It prevents your privacy. The food is contained in boxes except the soups. I think I will not come back unless I need convenience when I am shopping in the Hong Kong market. The price is a little bit high in comparison with the service I received, but it's acceptable. You should come and try once.

Google
This place looks like a hole in the wall grocery store because all you see from the front are food products. You have to go up front and ask to see the menu. Service was quick. The Tom Yum was amazing with generous portions of moist shrimp. Sometimes the shrimp are overcooked and dry but these were cooked just right. The drunken noodles were very flavorful. Most times I find this dish mild but here the pack in the flavors. I’m excited to find this great Thai restaurant at the mall since I shop here quite often. I never knew this place existed but now that I do I plan on eating here often.

Yelp
Ms.Anna you've outdone yourself time and time again. I've been coming to the Hong Kong Market since I was a jit and let me tell you when this place delivers it does it in style. Make sure you get that pad thai medium heat (getting hot might make you see dead people) and just enjoy the beauty that is Anna Thai Food. Love it! Rate it! I don't care because i'm coming back regardless!

Yelp
Anna Thai Food isn't just the best option in the dreaded Hong Kong City Mall food court, but I'm willing to bet it's one of the most underrated Thai spots in the city. Buried deep into the food court, Anna doesn't get the same kind of visibility as other food stalls / restaurant spaces, but it still stands out for its unique exterior. On the outside there are Thai snacks and small items for sale, which is reminiscent of so many SE Asian food stalls and mini storefronts. The best part is the no nonsense approach to food. Most everything I've had has been tasty and they also really know how to pack the spice. I've enjoyed their pad kee mao, pad see yu, and a very fragrant tom yum soup. Their spicy and sour sausages are a hit and it goes well with their basil fried rice. Their pad ka pow might be some of the best I've found and their stir fried preserved eggs with basil is outstanding. I am very appreciative of their service and know the food takes a bit of time to make since it's usually from scratch. Seating for those dining in is never an issue since there are chairs and tables all over. Lunch and super early dinners are recommended since their hours are limited due to the food court dying down after 7pm.

Yelp
Gotta love variety and SO doesn't love banh mi as much as me (I know.. I know) so while walking through the mall too, we came across Anna Thai Food at the food court Pad Thai - savory , sweet and super fresh ingredients, I highly recommend Wishing I chilled with the banh mi because Anna Thai is a one to two persons operation and I would've loved to support her even more by ordering several dishes. Owner was super nice and friendly too. Hoping to visit Anna Thai again in the near future!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. Everything about it is awesome. Great food, great service, great customer service. And all surprisingly hidden in the Hong Kong Market. Make sure when you go inside the market, make a left, go all the way down, and enjoy! Worth your visit, I promise!

Yelp
Can obviously tell I ordered from them more than once. One of the best Thai places in Chinatown I say, love the spicy crispy pork with basil and Pad Thai. The pork is good thick cuts and comes with a lot of basils and other greens. Can be a little salty, but pair with rice is great. I always order level 5 spicy and that makes me sweating, so tune it down if you can't handle spice that well. It is located inside the food court of Hong Kong Market, so seatings are public, can get little crowded and rowdy on the weekend. I like to get their food to go and then go down to Creamery Teahouse towards the market to order my refreshing drink and eat my food at home. It's a perfect night takeout choice!

Yelp
Amazing food! Really authentic Thai taste with fresh food! Absolutely would go again my new favorite Thai spot! I had the Tom Yang soup with shrimp 10/10 Pad Ka Prao Chicken 10/10

Yelp
This place was a fun pick for our family. No frills, within the hong Kong market and it feels like you're ordering Thai food from a bodega. We ordered pad woon sen, spring rolls, green curry and Tom Kha gai. Everything was brought out quickly and tasted just right. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
No flavor. Inside a foodcourt mall. Heat level too weak. Good service for a small operation.

Yelp
Pad ka pow is one of my favorite Thai dishes here . Make sure you ask for an egg as well . I like it medium spicy because my taste buds are weak lol . They do not hold back on spice here. The ka pow leaves the use are actually whole leaf basil . Plenty of parking as it's inside the Hong Kong mall

Yelp
I was introduced to this place a few years ago by a fly Thai guy who had gathered a small group for some Thai deliciousness. Located on the far side of the Hong Kong City Mall food court, one might not assume much from first glance, but this place serves some amazing authentic Thai food. While presentation and the lack of a proper dining room does leave much to be desired, taste is king. Therefore Anna Thai is king. Flavors are bold and delicious. It's a to go type of place, but you're more than welcome to eat in the food court, as there is plenty of seating. It's usually crazy loud there though.

Yelp
I hope they don't close down, otherwise I'll have to say, Anna-ther one bites the dust! This is a lovely little Thai restaurant inside the Hong Kong Food Court in the Hong Kong Mall which is a Vietnamese mall, so you can expect some Vietnamese style Thai food here. But totally delicious! It's much cheaper than you would expect at most Thai restaurants and is really good. We've eaten here twice, including once recently, and will be coming a third time hopefully. All in all, it's one of the best options in the mall, and one which we will keep coming back to now that we have discovered it - as you should too.

Yelp
This review is based on my UberEats lunch order of the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) chicken + shrimp and Thai Tea. The Thai tea and pad kee mao arrived very well packaged. I found the tea to be on the sweeter side so if you're a sweet tooth, you'll love this tea. The pad kee mao came in a generous portion. I find that when there's so much food sometimes it's easy to miss the the mark on consistent flavors throughout the dish. In the case of this pad kee mao, some batches of the dish were extremely flavorful and other batches not so much. In terms of the toppings, I found the jumbo shrimp to be the favorite as it was extremely juicy and flavored just right. So if I were to get this dish again, I'd get it made with shrimp alone. Overall, delicious food. Looking forward to trying out more dishes from this gem.

Yelp
service was quick and the ladies working there are very sweet. food was flavorful and SPICY. I didn't expect the spice to hit that hard but I was tearing up near the end. It was like the good kind of pain. The spicy red snapper was great and the panang curry hit the spot, a bit watery though, not sure if that's the consistency they were going for. I would come back again to try their noodles!!

Yelp
When we were on lockdown, we ordered from this restaurant/grocery store when we were hungry for some Thai food. We used it to get our Thai food fix when we ached for food that wasn't normally available. For Thai food, it fit our needs. You can find most food staples for this cuisine here. Nothing fancy but affordable and tasty.

Yelp
Ordered a tomyum soup but nothing in there, only soup and a few shrimp. Paid 16 dollars for nothing. Never come back.

Yelp
The owner is very friendly. I called an hour before to see if they were open and somehow she knew it was me when I walked up. Before I even spoke lol. I walked off to check out the stores and I came back and saw my food boxed up in a to go box in a bag! NO! If you know anything about pad Thai and to go boxes they do not mix! If you are going to put pad that noodles in a to go box at the very least cut a slit out of the corner of the styrofoam box so all of the steam can escape. If you don't do this you will have a big globe of noodles stuck together! Management please start to do this! I told them I was eating it there. So they took it out of the box and guess what? The noodles were already sticking. Such a shame they don't cut an opening for the steam to escape. Back to the food. The food: pad Thai chicken and beef. You get very little meat and a ton of noodles! I mean an excess of noodles with some small chips of meat. This should be called meatless pad Thai lol. Also if you eat it like they serve it you will be in for a dry experience! Who likes it dry? Not me!! Hahaha dry is never good! I had to ask for more pad Thai sauce and peanuts. Once I added that the dish was pretty solid. I have to admit their pad Thai sauce they use to stir fry tasted highly concentrated like it came from a bottle. It was a pretty overall good meal. Just way too many damm noodles and not a lot of meat. Oh I had to add peppers too because I asked for hot and didn't taste any spice. Hot at Thai gourmet will set your ass on fire lol. Also, their pad Thai is absolutely not better than Thai gourmet. A great alternative if you are craving Thai food on a Sunday but mom-sat Thai Gourmet is my first choice.

Yelp
One of the best Thai places in the Chinatown area and it's in a FOOD COURT. If people aren't feeling Thai they could get a different cuisine and yall can still eat together. There are plenty of things on the menu people can enjoy. (3/5): YEN TA FO ($8) - I got this dish because it seemed interesting with its PINK SOUP and other people seem to like it. The flavor is definitely strong of a FERMENTED SHRIMP/FISH PASTE. I was taken aback. I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I liked all the seafood that was in this dish however I would probably not get it again because it didn't quite meet my taste (5/5): PAD WOON SEN ($9) - I got 1 level below their spiciest level because I love spice. It had my tongue tingling with a flavor explosion. I love the CLEAR SKINNY GLASS NOODLE. There was plenty of chicken and peppers. (5/5) THAI TEA ($3) - I think the cup was at least 20 oz. You get a lot of tea for what you paid for. It was strong and a little bitter but creamy.

Yelp

Yelp
If you're looking for QUICK, cheap, tasty Thai food - this is a great place. I come here usually for the larb or Tom yum soup. I wouldn't say this is the best in terms of quality/taste but it is still good and best described as Thai fast food. Tom yum soup 5/5 (I get the spiciest and it is indeed SPICY) Chicken larb extra spicy 4/5 (spicy is REAL spicy if you get the most) Jerky 3/5 (has a gamey after taste I don't get from jerky at other restaurants) Pad Thai 3/5 Beef mussuman curry 5/5 (xtra spicy - highly recommend) Fried wings 4/5 (plain but tasty) Again everything is cheap and I usually get assisted by an older woman or middle aged man and they are always very nice.

Yelp
So it took us a minute to find this place but it was inside of the mall thank goodness. The food was really good. Everything was the perfect spice and level of tastiness. We got everything they had to offer pretty much and it was just the two of us. We had so many leftovers too. I'm pregnant and my sense of smell and taste is super strong and it was perfect.

Yelp
An absolute hidden gem of Houston Thai food. I discovered them on UberEats one day and was wanting to try out some Thai food. They are located in the HK4 food court and they are absolutely delicious and tastes so authentic. Their spice level is off the chain! Getting even medium spicy can make you feel some regret. Haha. Our favorite items to order are: - Fried Squid - Combination Fried Rice (Kids favorite) - Thai Rice Noodle in Fish Curry Sauce (aka Curry Noodles) - Yum Nuea (Beef Salad) - Pad See Ew - Pad Thai There is so much flavor in each dish that its all very unique. The herbs, seasoning, and various leaves are packed with flavor and have their roles that make up the dish. This has been our go to Thai restaurant to order togo from or for delivery. I highly recommend them and they have been perfect each time. Watch out for their spicy level! Make sure you order some Thai tea to assist in putting out the fire in your mouth!

Yelp
Thai cuisines does not mess around with their spice. Anna was very friendly and attentive. She stayed after their closing time to accommodate to our group. A gem if you're looking for authentic Thai food. It's located in the food court of HK4 mall. Quite an extensive menu they have. Informative with pictures to go along with. We started off with Thai tea. It had a thick and strong flavor. Good portion. Can't go to a Thai place without trying their Thai tea. Any-who, moving onto the food. Warning..I'm so bad with food names! I ordered the sukiyaki which was a house special that was not on the menu. This particular dish came out last but worth the wait. Just by looking at it was appealing. It was made with clear thin noodles. Plenty of seafood and veggies. I had level 1 or 2 spicy and it was doable. Before tasting this dish, I had tried a bit of everything that was going around the table. I had a variety of curry, fried rice, fish cakes, and other type of noodles (pics below). My lips were burning. We were all surprised by the level spice with Thai food. Now we know. One downside is the location. It was raining that day so where I was sitting, the roof was leaking. I had to keep my food to the side because every once in a while, water would be dripping down. I enjoyed the causal and homey touch to the food here. I would come back to try more of their menu. I enjoy small local businesses like this one. You can tell that the staff put in a lot of effort to bring you good and authentic food. At the end, we learned how to say goodbye in Thai. Sa-wat-dee-ka (for female). Sa-wa-dee-krap (for male). Make sure to put both your palms together and do a light bow.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to visit Anna Thai food driving around the area. I was made aware of the restaurant/store because of Facebook through a post. Also looking at the reviews here on Yelp, I was very excited to stop by. Location wise it is in the Hong Kong City Mall 4 food court in between the crawfish and sushi food stalls. I decided to go with 3 very common things you can find at any Thai restaurant: Pad Thai, chicken wings and Thai tea. My impression, was a very positive one for sure. I took my food to go and ate it at home. The chicken wings (Wings of Siam) were good. Instead of fried crunchy wings these were more of a baked texture that came with Thai chili sauce/ The Pad Thai I ordered was a medium spice to it that was just the right amount. Also just enough amount of chicken for the dish. The portion for me was generous in my opinion. Lastly, I had the Thai tea, which was just the right amount of sweetness opposed to other places that sometimes use condensed milk instead of half & half. My final thoughts, I did enjoy my visit to Anna Thai food. Not only are the serve food but also have groceries as well. The food was really good and I would definitely come back for more. My last thought I have is in regards toward the Wings of Siam. The chicken wings are good and they come in 6. Whenever I have visited other Thai restaurants, I am accustomed to the delicious dark soy sauce based sticky wing sauce. I was surprised they don't make the wings that way but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Yelp
We had the veggie dumplings and pork skewers, and we were not disappointed. Great service considering this spot is in a mall. Love the vibe, too - they were piping in some nice tunes.

Yelp
I had the basil fried rice and added snapper to it. Rice was very dry and bland. The snapper was fried way to hard. Very disappointed.

Kristina S.

Yelp
The Thai food Gods blessed me with an amazing food find today in Asian Town at Hong Kong City Mall. I found legit Thai food!! Had killer spicy hardcore Gang Tha Pla and Fried Catfish with Kaffir leaves. These dishes are hard to come by and eaten mostly by Thai locals. It was delicious.-- My mouth is on fire and I lost some hearing!!! food bliss #ThaiFoodFind #Foodbliss #MouthonFire #annathaifood #supportlocal

Yelp
A cute Thai store where kitchen was hidden behind shelves of Thai dried goods and a few veggies. It was tugged in the food court of Hong Kong Plaza. The food is just ok. Not impressed

Yelp
Great authentic Thai food, every item doesn't disappoint. My goal next year is to try every item at least once (except salad) lol.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing Thai food and I think we will be coming back here again. This place is located in the Hong Kong mall which is kind of sketchy but then also it adds to the appeal.... Anna Thai food has the nicest staff and the food is great! When you walk up, it has a bunch of grocery and convenience store goodies and also Mark Wiens food reviews playing on the TV lol- definitely unique. We got the Pad Kra Pow and mango sticky rice and both were some of the best we had outside of Thailand. The Pad Kra Pow was juicy and flavorful with the right amount of spices! The mango was good, a little bit smaller portion that expected, but still very good. Overall, we were really happy and can not wait to come back!

Yelp
Pad Thai is very tasty, I have eaten a lot of pad Thai in the Houston area and this is one of my favorites, the noodles are the perfect consistency, soft but chewy. The owner is so nice and friendly.

Sidney S.

Yelp
Anna Thai food In Southwest Houston and hungry? Chinatown sounded great until overwhelmed by so many options. We had certain expectations about what to eat that day. Sure, there were specific things in my mind, like a table and a waiter, but the experience differed from what I thought it would. The fortunate incident was to get to the food court by the Hong Kong supermarket and discover the best Thai flavor experience in town. The display of products and the colorful setting are inviting and lead to the encounter of a friendly face, a warm greeting, and a surprisingly complete menu. We did not know what to choose, and Anna helped us walk through the options and gave us suggestions based on our likes and cravings. We decided to order a beef Pat Thai and a Chicken Volcano. Anna asked us how spicy we wanted it, and I must mention that it was cooked to perfection. Despite the freshness, the order came out quickly, bringing an explosion of aromas and flavors to our table. They offer a variety of Thai teas and drinks to enjoy with the food. Of all the Pat Thais that I have eaten throughout my life, Annas is by far the very best. The Chicken Volcano is moist and crisp at the same time, fresh and spicy, filled with flavors I was unfamiliar with, but now I am obsessed. When we finished our feast, Anna recommended we try their mango sticky rice. We thought that a to-go package was needed, but instead, we got two more to enjoy there. I am still surprised by how much we ate. I have no regrets about the extra calories. The textures and flavors of the mango bathed in coconut milk, mixed with the sticky rice, were worth it. They care about their customers and take pride in the food they serve. The customer care and the quality of their products helped us forget that we were sitting in the middle of a food court and that, earlier, we had been hoping to find nice tables and a server to take our orders. So, if I am with my family and we are hungry in Southwest Houston, we head to Chinatown. Do not let the mall setting discourage us from experiencing great food and fantastic service. If we are lucky enough to get help from Anna, we let the magic of her kindness and the fresh and outstanding quality of what they offer captivate us. It became difficult for me to think of another Thai option in the city because it surpassed all my expectations, and from that day forward, Anna's Thai Food became our number-one place when craving great Thai food. I would encourage everyone to let this hidden gem from this fantastic city take them by surprise and have them try the best Thai food H-Town offers.

Yelp
We made a trip to Anna Thai Food a few weeks ago. The place is the new addition to the Hong Kong Market food court. And by the way, You cannot miss the sign because it huge. This place has an extensive menu. In addition to the common street food items they also have drinks like Thai tea, Thai coffee, Thai coconut juice and etc. They also sell imported Thai snacks. Our group ordered a few things. I recalled that my wife and I ordered Yen Ta Four Red noodles soup and Potk Boat noodles soup. Another friend got Sukothai noodles. Yen Ta Four noodles soup needs to have 2 main taste palettes -- sweet and sour. These two taste palettes have to hit you hard and be at the forefront. If you don't taste the sweetness or the sourness right away then the dish need some work. When I first tasted Yen Ta Four noodles at Anna Thai Food, I thought it needed both sweet and sour tastes. The Pork Boat noodles soup was rich in favor and anything with pork rinds can't be all bad. While I was pleased with the broth, I think the vermicelli should be cooked a bit longer as they were too hard. Last dish was the Sukothai noodles, which was vermicelli seasoned with soy sauce and garlic plus variety of meats -- ground pork, fish balls, tofu, etc. This one was a gem for everyone at the table. The vermicelli was cooked perfectly, and the dish was well seasoned. Other than these three dishes, we also got Thai tea. It was OK, but perhaps a little too sweet. I mixed some water to dilute the sweetness and then it was to my liking. Overall, I think Anna Thai Food is a good alternative while at Hong Kong mall food court. The place is still new so there is room to improve. Personally, I'll give them a try again. Hopefully, they got everything right next time. Plus, I also heard that they may have additional items that are off the menu so be sure to ask for today's specials.

Yelp
No customers, so we decided to buy a package of pork seasoning the size of my hand to help them out, seeing as my wife grew up in Thailand and I lived there for a while. It was $6 which seemed expensive for seasoning. But what got me is that they also charge tax. This isn't cooked food. It's a grocery food item. So it seems to me there shouldn't be tax on it. But maybe because we were buying from a food court outlet tax is automatically charged? I don't know. We probably will just buy at Hong Kong market next time.

Yelp
Ok, I'm giving them all the stars. I've actually ordered here a few times and I'm just now getting around to reviewing. I've only ordered the chicken pad thai, freaking amazing!!! Great portions and they always follow my special requests. I will say, make sure you like spicy if you ask for spicy bc they seriously deliver and it's fantastic!! I will definitely order again and maybe one day will try something else too lol!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow let me start off by saying 5 Stars for food and service this is now definitely my new favorite Thai restaurant. I was going to order pad Thai seafood but Raj called me out like a Bitch saying that was a white girl dish him being Thai I said ok you order for me. He ordered me the duck Curry soup yummy but let me tell you that you must be able to handle spicy food to enjoy this dish. Being that we were a group of about 10 people I also got to sample many different yummy cuisines all very tasty. I will definitely be back here the only reason I cannot give five stars is the location is in the run down food court of the Hong Kong mall watch out for water dripping from the filthy air vents my friend Ann sitting across from me had to keep her food to the to the left of her aside the girls food next to her so you've been warned. Like I said all in all we all had a great time just kinda wish Anna would move her restaurant to a more of a actual restaurant place would certainly be a hit.

Yelp
I'm happy to say that this place is another home away from home. Tucked away in the far off corners of the earth or honk Kong market area, is a good and decent food court at the very far left. This place opened up quite a bit ago and I decided to "Thai" this place out. Haha, get it? Thai instead of try? No? What? I'm grounded from the internet!? Anyways, -insert eye roll here- I had the pleasure to meet Anna, the owner, and enjoyed her food. This place definitely has a lot more items that wouldn't find any at most places. Ranging from "yen ta fo" and "guy jab" which are really popular dishes from Thailand. If you want to try some really authentic Thai food, you better pray and hope it won't burn your insides and your butthole. The food is spicy if you ask for Thai spicy, it's flavorful, and most of all it's made by someone who cares about what their food is. We ordered moo ping, guy jab, green curry, and basil fried rice. Alas, no pictures because I was hungry and it smelled so freaking delicious. Moo ping or the bbq pork skewers were very tender and delicious. The piece of pork slid right off and almost melts in your mouth with the right amount of meat to fat ratio. Basil fried rice: it's a gigantic amount of rice that's seasoned with peppers, chili flakes, eggs, and rice. I opted out with pork because it just goes so well with everything. The moment I realized that the owner was Thai herself, was the moment she had to make everything Thai style. It's seasoned to perfection and greasy enough to cure a hangover. -hint hint- The green curry we got Thai hot. Holy smokes, I legit almost pissed myself crying. It reminded me of home cooked meals. The fact that they used small Thai eggplants made it worthwhile. Each bite took me to a place of nostalgia and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The spicy ness grew with each bite, the hunger was slowly being satisfied by each spoonful of rice and curry, and the creaminess left me in aw. Try it out. Guy jab, is a Chinese 5 spice broth with flat noodles, pork blood which is cooked into cubes, pork, and other stuff you wouldn't normally eat. It's a feel good noodle soup stew type of thing. Anybody who's anemic will definitely get all of their iron from eating this wonderful meal. It's a sweet and savory with a hint of garlic. Just thinking about it is honestly making me drool and I just got done eating! Think of this place like a Thai restaurant but in a good court. It'll take maybe 15 minutes to finish; but the wait is definitely worth it. I really should do some unofficial events and maybe some of you guys will "thai" it out with me!

Yelp
I ordered the spicy basil fried rice and stir fried vegetables. The food was just okay. The portion size on the stir fried vegetables dish was laughably small for the $13 cost. They put it in a decent size to go container however it was only filled half at best. Definitely won't be coming here again.

Yelp
I try this place before when I had a party at work. Usually I go to tony Thai but it's not good. This place is amazing for their pad Thai. Delicious and nicely season. If you crave some Thai, come here and try it. The owner is super friendly and is also the cook. I would recommend the shrimp pad Thai or squid. Well anything is good here!

Yelp
Awesome Thai food. Located inside of Hong Kong mall (hard to find at first). Got beef pad Thai and shrimp pad kee mao. Both were delicious. Spice level on point.

Yelp
I found multiple hairs in the food that I received and was a very long wait. Not to mention it was a very dirty establishment and the tables weren't even cleaned. Would not recommended to anyone.

Yelp
Tom yum koong soup was overly salty, with too much fish sauce and a lot of MSG obviously; mother-in-law had the whole big bowl of soup, went thirsty all night long and drank up glasses of water. On the other hand, Husband and I shared a bowl of the Tom Kha Gai soup, which was nicely flavored with coconut milk, lime juice and spices, and we liked it creamy, savory, spicy and sweet altogether! On the papaya salad, we requested "medium" spicy, but it came out super spicy *argh*

Yelp
If I could, I would have given it 3.5 stars.I believe this place makes authentic Thai street food! I liked their Pad See Ew better than the T4 (or T6?) Chopped, which is rice served with stir-fry basil, minced pork, and fried egg. The choice of meat is yours. Unfortunately, I thought it was a bit too salty for my taste. Other than that, the Thai iced tea was great and it came in a very large cup! The people in the food court were very loud when we ate there. We would order to go next time we come back.

Yelp
I was definitely skeptical about ordering Thai food from a food court, especially because Thai food in American food courts is not really Thai food, anywho! We ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and the Massaman Curry with chicken as well. The Pad Thai was pretty good actually. It was either delicious, or our expectations were low, but we were quite pleased! And it was a nice portion. The curry was alright, nothing too special to make it stand out. The potatoes and carrots were a little firmer than I'd like and there was definitely more curry than there was chicken and stuff. Oh and we ordered to-go, because you know, HK food court....the food was still pretty hot by the time we got home.

Yelp
I ordered the combination and it was very good and the medium spice was just right. A little on the dry side but no complaints other than that.

Yelp
When you're Thai and you feel dissatisfied with most Thai restaurants in H-town and you need something ON DEMAND that can almost match your mom's home-cooked Thai dishes...you push the emergency button and Anna Thai gets delivered through UberEats. I come here quite a bit and have brought my friends and co worker here during lunch. I also get the food delivered, so I'm pretty obsessed. The fun thing about eating at Anna is I get to browse through the Thai snacks and other products I'd usually haul back when visiting Thailand. Now...I can just come here and pick up my favorite "Carada", cuttlefish snack balls which y'all have to try. They also have my favorite palm juice drink. My go-to dish here is Rad Nah with seafood. It really hits the spot for me, one of the best Thai comfort food and street food. It's a wok rice noodle with clear soy sauce gravy poured over. You can't go wrong here. I also recommend pad kra pao which is ground meat stir fried in thai basil and thai chili, topped with fried egg. My friends really enjoyed duck noodle soup, tom-yum noodle, and beef boat noodle. They're all excellent. I was not into their fried rice. That was the one thing I don't recommend getting. It's meh. This is a hidden gem for Thai food! Must go now!

Yelp
Skeptical ar first due to the inside mall food court style setting. Husband ordered Prada prik king chicken medium heat (sweating) , I had chefs seafood special in a light garlic sauce. Did not disappoint, food was fresh and tasty. Mine was generously served with 10 shrimp, 4-5 fresh scallops, calamari, fish and very fresh veges. My favorites of snow peas, brocolli, carrots and some green onion. Flavors were spot on. Atmosphere leaves plenty to be desired and food court restrooms were very not great! fortunately I always carry wet wipes so I cleaned everything even our table before eating.
