We had such a great evening here. The food was presented so beautifully and tasted incredible. Such great flavours. The beef tartare is some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend visiting. Staff friendly and welcoming greats selection of wine

Amazing food but a little too pricy. Everything from start to end was delicious. Our absolute favourite items were the Celeriac Lasagne, Winter Squash Flatbread, Blood Orange Cheesecake and the Lamb. The Celeriac Lasagne was phenomenal, with a tinge of truffle and perfectly made sauce. Highly recommend that. The only issue was that the portions were small for the price we paid. We don’t regret going but it was definitely a dent in our wallets.

A brilliant spot for a special occasion or proper treat meal. Not boujee, not pretentious, just all about really good food and wine. Not only was the food outstanding here, I loved the vibe too. It’s a small, intimate place, and you can see just a couple of guys behind the kitchen working their socks off. They only run a few different time slots throughout the day which really helped the flow of the evening. The place gradually filled up and the whole vibe lifted as the good food and wine started flowing. We went for a selection of plates to share, plus one dessert for myself (obviously). Every plate looked top notch and, more importantly, tasted unreal. The senses were well and truly satisfied. Full of flavour, beautifully cooked and properly thought through. What more could you ask for. The wine was on the higher priced side at £56, but in a place like this it didn’t feel out of place. And to be fair, it was really delicious, so I had zero regrets by the second glass. Service was spot on. Casual, helpful and genuinely knowledgeable. Not stiff, not forced, and definitely not that awkward fine-dining energy. You could tell they were passionate about what they’re doing, which always makes the whole experience better. It was also a lovely touch to be welcomed with some complimentary bubbles to help celebrate the special occasion. Verdict: A proper treat-night spot. Not one for every week, but absolutely worth it for a special occasion or when you fancy

The food is freshly prepared, and it’s great to see the chefs cooking everything to order ; you can watch the action from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The waiting staff are attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely eager to make sure you have a good experience. I’m giving it 4 stars overall. While the food was well prepared and beautifully presented, I have had meals elsewhere that were slightly more memorable, so I can’t quite justify a 5. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back, and I’d happily go out of my way to dine here again. Be aware, the toilets are not inside the restaurant for anyone who has mobility issues. You have to physically go out of the building to use the toilet.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining in with Another Hand, and could not have been more pleased with our experience. We were warmly greeted by the host and were lucky enough to be sat at the chef’s table. Head chef, Max and his sous, Courtney engaged us in pleasant conversation while maintaining precise attention to cooking, and very impressively I might add! We ordered a total of 8 dishes between 2 guests and found that it was more than enough food. Each bite was meticulously flavored, creating an incredibly exciting tasting adventure! We noticed that Max had even personalized the courses, based on every table’s complete order, to serve each dish at a time that made the most sense within the meal. Details beyond my comprehension! It felt as if we were participating in an interactive art exhibit that was whimsical, beautiful, and happened to be delicious. We were visiting the UK for 10 days and had very many glamorous and expensive meals. Another Hand easily took the cake in terms of value. The food was the best we had, the costs were entirely reasonable, and the overall experience was unmatched. They perfectly cultivated a high class, elevated dining experience, while encouraging a comfortable and laid back atmosphere, with the food at the heart of the whole operation. 10/10 would recommend! And for the love of god, get the carrots if they are still on the menu…

2 sittings so we chose 8.30pm. Cosy place seating about 22 i want to say? Lovely staff who explained that it was a sharing experience that they would recommend including the main course. Fine for us as we're always trying each other's meals! The dishes come out when ready so you're not necessarily eating your main with the veg or whatever. We had the aged sirloin( omg was it good) and the flat bread as starters. Main was duck, celeriac lasagne (omg again!) and hassleback potatoes. Everything delicious and well presented. The wine was a little expensive we thought but we had a glass each including a lovely orange wine and he of course had a beer. Toilets are not in the restaurant but outside in the block by the lifts which is a little strange. Music needs to be quieter and less like a lift please. This is probably just me !

To be honest, I came here because I’m sick of trying – and failing – to get into Skof. Another Hand’s been on my radar for a while and so last night we finally made it. The negative first: the toilet is some distance away, you must go outside and it’s near the lift, back from where we had come. Next time, I’ll go there first. Everything else is positive. I love open kitchens; the ambience is so much nicer. Our generous starter of sourdough was superb. The crust, just nicely brown and tough, the crumb, well, crumbly and sour, and the complementary whey butter, smeared on the plate was excellent. For main, I had celeriac lasagne, one of the nicest and most unusual dishes I’ve had for ages. It comes with a rich sauce which I mopped up with the bread. My courgette salad was beautifully put together and the flavour combinations worked well. Birthday boy loved his sea bream and even ate the accompanying prepared Seville orange segments. He chose the Hasselback potatoes, and I stole a little – fabulous. Too full for dessert, we had a great evening overall. Service was exemplary. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We will be back, and soon. And I’ve forgotten about Skof already.

Food was spectacular, service was amazing and really helpful such as explaining what the Palomino wine was or offering recommendations from the menu. Was a really special evening with some of the best plates we've had in a while both flavour and presentation! Music was also perfect fit for the general vibe. Will definitely be recommending to anyone visiting Manchester! Would also suggest grabbing a seat facing the kitchen as it was really interesting to watch the plating/how the food was prepared.
