"From the start, he knew he wanted to be serving food at his newly minted Antelope Truck Stop. He began selling slow-cooked Punjabi foods, like chicken curry, dal makhani, and saag — dishes that can take upward of five hours to prepare — alongside American roadside classics, like scrambled eggs and hamburgers." - Trisha Gopal

Google
Worst place to eat. I visited this restaurant with my wife. Front desk lady has zero Manners. Ordered 2 paranthas. But returned the food. Please taste the food before leaving the place.

Google
Absolutely worst experience lve ever had in my life... there was me and a older gentleman waiting. She asked if I was ready to order i then turned to the older man and asked if he already ordered. The lady saw me asking him and walked away. There was a bell to ring for service so as she was walking away, thinking it was a miscommunication because she speaks Spanish I rang the bell she looked at me but didn't come back to take my order. Confused I waited at the counter. 5 minutes later she comes back gives the older gentleman his food to go. Asks me "ready to order now?" Appuled I told her I was just asking if the man in front of me ordered and she walked away, explaining in Spanish since I am fluent. She looks at me asks if I want her to respond in English or Spanish confused I looked at her and she strait up said it's not her job to wait on customers lol I didn't know what to say lol I ordered my cheeseburger and fries at this point I was the only customer in the restaurant she left me waiting for over 20 minutes... its a shame I've never had such a rude experience and it is a shame because I really do enjoy the owners and the gas station side clerks but I will never be ordering from that restaurant again untell they can get some decent lady to take her place.

Google
But the stupid server at the counter. No one like to speak Punjabi & acting like!who’s care. Food is not good. Looks like don’t waste your money and time here.

Nice people. Much needed rest. The basics... I don't know about the food (didn't have it, the restaurant was closed at the time). They have a laundromat on site in case you need to clean your clothes in a pinch!

Google
delicious affordable food, friendly staff, safe environment, bathroom facilities very clean, gas prices lower than cheyenne.

Google
Fantastic North Indian DHABA food in a very humble/ simple setting — excellent quality and quantity for the price and the front desk lady was very friendly and helpful ( even though her English was little weak ) ... we tried mixed paratha, plain paratha ( was a hit with kids ), chicken curry ( home style and 100 times less greasy than restaurant food), mutter paneer, samosa chat and before I forget - both dal makhani ( thank God no cream !!!) and yellow daal was flavorful and awesome. On our way back from Mt Rushmore we packed a ton of stuff to avoid cooking at home immediately upon reaching , there is a secret special menu as well ( to order) and they made us makki Di roti which we had with saag and it was heavenly. We made lassi at home from their curd and got the same taste as if you are in a road side Dhaba in Punjab !! Overall amazing taste , no tummy pain after eating here because they don’t poison the food with overdose of masala, cream and oil . Note: this is a very simple restaurant mainly used by Indian origin truckers for pickup.... so don’t go expecting a fine dining experience but chairs/tables are clean and yes don’t forget to add a heapspoon of the white butter ( home made) kept on the table to your parathas....and wash everything down with the best item on the menu 😊—> Indian style tea !!

Google
Can't believe some people comments about how bad the food is. To me it's great food I enjoy it and way much better option than any fast food that has a burger of 20 years shelf life. Nice people I don't mind some damage to the parking lot and way better than pilot or loves very crowded parking or worst shoulder parking of ramp. I have to stop here every time I pass by to sleep it's very quit and also the food, forgot to mention the bathrooms are very clean and nice also equipped with bidet is a huge plus. Recommended very much.

Google
Good food tried the plain samosas they were great usually easy to find a parking place for big trucks

Martha A.

Yelp
Best service around. Best diesel/gas prices within a 100 mile radius. If we want something they don't carry, we mention it to the owner and he gets it in. We don't go anywhere else!

Mason S.

Yelp
Horrible place. Also not open 24 hours which as a truck stop is kind of dumb. Poorly maintained. Trucks just park wherever they want even when there is parking spots available so even just pulling in can doom you to making pretty messed up maneuvers to get out

Priya Y.

Yelp
This spot is amazing. I was missing Punjabi food since we moved to CO, and found out about this place recently. We drove all the way from CO to try out this food, and it was totally wonderful and worth the drive for us. I will be coming back for more food!! I would specially recommend the paratas and samosa plate. Just perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices. 5 star indian dhaba food!!

Raj B.

Yelp
Too much waste of time if you have couple extra hours on your logbook then you can stop service very bad Mexican lady's dont even talk to you so rude they need to hire more nicer employees

Hank R.

Yelp
Possibly the worst Indian food I've ever had. Stopped here based on a national CBS news story claiming that the food and service were wonderful. Far from reality. Watery, tasteless and some of the items we ordered were missing in our take out as well. If you want Indian, keep heading west to Cheyenne.

Brian M.

Yelp
good food in restaurant- gas always cheaper than local average. good family owned place.

Guru G.

Yelp
#Horrible because very bad quality of food, i order a 2 prantha 4 smosey and 15 roti and 2 veggies (Mix veg and lentils) $57 but it is cost $0 You can see i attached pictures of lentils you can get idea how's there food quality both vegetables taste changed in just 3 hours. So it means they give me old veggies. prantha without stuffing seems like roti, Seriously shame on you guys, Be good otherwise shutdown your business you are not good for serving Food to people they trust on you and spend money on your food

Pablo V.

Yelp
Clerk working behind counter wasn't very friendly. Too busy with his phone call when I visited the store at 5:41 PM on Saturday 4/23/22.

Joseph J.

Yelp
Oh my god this food is so good it really hits the spot good atmosphere good people. The food was ready to go within less than 10 minutes. If you're really looking for authentic Indian food place to go. Their mango shakes are so creamy and delicious. Super affordable style Indian two thumbs up

Julia G.

Yelp
My new favorite truck stop. Great and fun Indian food which is a complete surprise as you drive I-80. The owner is friendly, welcoming and will direct you to food that pleases a crowd. Your choice of heat.

Nicole J.

Yelp
Ok are you kidding me this place is amazing. We stopped to use the bathroom and get gas and then strolled through the bar and restaurant which is a gem. It's like a bar from the 70s perfectly maintained. The food is UNREAL. The samosas were the best I've ever had and I live in Philly where we have two amazing Indian restaurants. If I'm ever in Wyoming again i would come out of my way just to hang here and eat.

Apurva A.

Yelp
Amazing Indian food...Every time I drive by Wyoming I make it point to stop here...Samosa,Chai, sarso da saag and aloo paratha are to die for.Really authentic Punjabi- Indian food... Great place to stop on a roadtrip in the area...Very sweet people!

Yelp
After god knows how long subsisting on basic everyday truck stop food I cannot muster words for how grateful I was to find real fresh made food. I nearly broke into dance when I saw vegetarian saag as the daily special! Warm and friendly staff despite being very busy. Be patient with them, it is more than worth the wait.

Yelp
These guys are very nice & their food is fresh & delicious! There's a bar in here with pool tables that is very old-school. I almost expected Patrick Swayze to jump out & say 'Be nice until it's time to not be nice.' This is your 'jam' if you love fresh delicious Indian food like I do!

J B.

Yelp
Authentic "home style" Indian restaurant that also serves some "American fare" for those who prefer it. Has vegetarian and flesh food options. Everything is homemade from scratch including their yogurt. This is not "Americanized Indian like, but the real deal." Not every item on menu is available every day, but what they have has always been good when I've been there. Each item on the menu we've had has been distinct in flavor as opposed to "variations on a theme." I highly recommend their samosas which come smothered in cholay (chick-pea curry) topped with yogurt, tamarind chutney, and peppers! We go there 1-2 times a month and always enjoy it. Our meat eating friends said they have enjoyed those items as well as the vegetarian items we tend to order. If you find food is spicier than your liking, try adding some yogurt to your curry and enjoy! Flatbreads are made fresh to order. The chai and other drinks most excellent. They also have wonderful traditional deserts such as rice pudding, Gulab Jamin (donut holes in Rose syrup), and Rasgulla (made from balls of chhena (an Indian cottage cheese) and semolina dough, cooked in sugar syrup) [just ask because their not on their printed menu]. Prices are very modest for these kinds of treats. Prices are very modest for these kinds of treats. They do have a smoking section which is sufficiently separated from the main dining area that it does not intrude on non-smokers (like us). If it did, we would have never tried the place out. The truck stop is run by either a small community (or really large extended family) from India (Punjab region) and many of the people working or eating there speak mostly their native language. They are very polite and help with explaining the delightful dishes they serve. We are really enjoying having wonderful Indian food only 15 minutes from our home instead of having to drive to Ft. Collins or Denver. The atmosphere is a humble mixture of small, rural, truck stop, and stepping in to a local diner in Punjab. Take exit 386 off of I-80. It's the only place out there. 5 stars for authentic food 4 stars for service (variable) 3 stars for atmosphere (it's a truck stop) 5 stars for value 5 stars for hospitality 5 stars for cultural experience Enjoy!

Yelp
Unexpected gem! Driving from Colorado to South Dakota and hoping to find somewhere for lunch and happened upon this little Punjabi and American restaurant in the truck stop. Both cuisines were delicious and the proprietor was so friendly. Definitely would stop there again to try more items!

bob m.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch after someone told me about this place. I really missed having some Indian food. Food was great. Generous portions, and very delicious. Will definitely return.

Craig R.

Yelp
The food is delicious made completely fresh and home made the chef is wonderful great place I would highly recommend it.

Jenna L.

Yelp
A hidden gem!!! The Indian food was authentic and DELICIOUS! We had the chicken curry over rice with nan bread. We have lived in Cheyenne for 2 years and never known about this place until today. We will be returning as often as we can. I highly recommend it, the food was incredible.

Torey F.

Yelp
Went there to try Indian food for my first time and I will say I am in love! Everything was amazing service was kind and excellent I will definitely be going back!

Nihar M.

Yelp
Please bring more Indian restaurants to Cheyenne! Amazing!

Duncan C.

Yelp
Driving cross country from ATL to Park City and needed gas. Not gonna lie, this place is a tad bit scary, okay maybe not scary, more unorthodox. Think of a restaurant in the movie "No Country for Old Men". The guy cashier in the store was a bit abrupt, but the food in the restaurant - AH-MAHZING!!! Best Chicken Marsala I have had in a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time!!!!! I wanted to lick my plate. Will be making a special stop on my way back home. Who knew you'd find something so wonderful when all you needed was to fill up the tank.

Khawaja S.

Yelp
Home-cooked Punjabi food. Love it. Nothing better then home like good while driving coast to coast.

Ivan F.

Yelp
I had samosas topped with chutney and channa (chickpeas), chicken masala and rotis. Short menu but food tasted just like it did in India as I asked for spicy. Polite but very serious waiter (adds to authenticity :) seemed as grateful for my visit as I was to eat really tasty Indian food!!!

Wanda S.

Yelp
This is the cheapest and best place to get fuel. And great courteous service . We drive 25 miles just to Fuel here. Never no problems. Great place to go n good authentic Indian food as well. Great place.

Avnuk S.

Yelp
Been here a few times being stationed down here in Wyoming I miss Punjabi food and this is a great place to fill my need for it because it's not Americanized and it's made homemade

nick d.

Yelp
Wow, what a great place and friendly staff. Don't be put off by the truck stop location, when you walk into the incredibly clean restaurant area, you are greeted by tyre friendly owner. Small menu , extremely well priced and several vegetarian options. The chicken curry for $7.25 is a fantastic deal, and tastes fresh, with nice balanced use of aromatics. The Saag is delicious and everything else I saw leave the kitchen looked really good too. So great to have some wonderful food near Cheyenne!

Abhishek K.

Yelp
Nice home made indian authentic food. -Mayur Indian food is definitely worth the drive from Boulder up to this place. -Abhishek Home away from home. Feels nostalgic. -Aditi

Yelp
RUN RUN this place was so bad food was dry small Portons bad serves in a bad place don't stop here

Lauren J.

Yelp
We had this place on the map from when we left for CA from VA. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, and the only thing at the exit. The cashier assumed we were there for a burger and fries but we weren't, we wanted the homemade Indian food! Both dishes we got were excellent. I got a vegetarian combo of all the veggie stuff they had. The bathroom is pretty sketchy, as is whatever is going on in the back with the loud music - bar? Strip club? But don't let that deter you from the great Indian food!

Apoorva g.

Yelp
Authentic home made delicious Punjabi food! A typical 'highway dhaba' in the middle of nowhere! Amazing food and warm hospitality

Sally E.

Yelp
We had read the reviews that the food was really good but the folks running it were rude & it's self serve. All we care about is eating good Indian food so stopped on our way east. The food was good, nothing special & not saucy enough. Also the portion size was small compared to the price. Our bill was 25.00 (I had water & my husband had a soda) & it was not enough of a portion for the average man in my opinion. Unless you're craving Indian food on Highway 80 I'd say you could probably miss this.

L H.

Yelp
The owner is an Indian who came from India to Wyoming via The Bronx, NY. We've only been there once, but definitely plan to go back. We had the Chicken Curry and it was delicious. There were 4 Indian truck drivers in the restaurant at the same time, and they were eating the vegetarian zucchini and Soamosa. The Soamosa looked fantastic, and I plan to get it next time.

Tammy R.

Yelp
Service was mediocre at best, the food was fair, if there is nothing else around it n will do, but don't get your hopes up to high.

Maryam A.

Yelp
For the looks of this spot, it's three stars. BUT, if you are a road tripper and are looking for a good meal amongst fast food options and the endless stretch of I-80, this place is great! Service is refreshing, delivery is quick so that you can get back to driving, and the meal was flavorful as well as traditional. We had chicken curry, daal, and aloo mattar, all of which were solid representatives of the cuisine. Will definitely make it a point to stop on the next trip.

Richard C.

Yelp
This is a very small restaurant (6 tables) with a very small selection of Indian food. Fortunately, the food is really good. We had the Chicken Curry and it was one of the best curries that I have had in a long time. The Saag and Aaloo Paratha were also very good. I look forward to trying the Vegetarian Special the next time I'm there. There is a full bar next door, but we were there for lunch so I didn't try to order anything.

Cy T.

Yelp
The Antelope Cafe serves tasty Indian food at reasonable prices. The American food items are probably C- to C+. Nice staff with suggestion on Indian dishes. Often plays Fox News, a turn off for many. For American dishes, continue North on Burns Road about 2.5 miles to Around the Corner Cafe, a fun, very clean, place with great food and service.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Delicious, quality Indian food. Nice people. Totally worth the stop. I got carry out. Not really fast but not bad. The vegetable carry out was delish but really spicy. Too bad they don't have mango lassi- they have lassi drink that's plain, then a mango smoothie that's made from Icecream. 5 stars for quality, but 4 for atmosphere.
