"On a street saturated with Turkish spots, all with different variations of the word Antepliler, it can be easy to get confused. But here are a couple of tips to help you when you’re walking up Green Lanes in search of London’s best künefe. Firstly, look out for a huge glass window, where you can see trays of sparkling syrup-covered baklava. There’s all sorts of shapes and sizes, from green fingers, to golden pistachio-filled roll-ups. But the main thing to look out for is the made-to-order künefe. Watch as cheese is hidden between two layers of kataifi pastry, before it's cooked over the heat in a metal pan, leaving the pastry golden and the cheese perfectly melted. The sweetness from the sugar syrup pairs excellently with the saltiness of the cheese inside. Bring a big group and get comfy in the bright and welcoming top floor for a post-dinner dessert and a glass of strong Turkish chai. photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat" - Rianne Shlebak

Kunafe was amazing, milk cake was good and fresh. The baklava was fresh, crispy top and not soggy at all. Pure artwork. I loved the coffee, really nutty and smooth. Service was great, all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely authentic Turkish place with a good level of class. Must come again.

In short, do NOT go there! As a Turk, I was initially delighted to find a place in London offering authentic, high-quality Turkish desserts. However, my experiences have left me deeply disappointed. My first visit was marred by the unbelievable policy of refusing to serve tap water. Can you imagine? This must be the only establishment in London that denies customers a basic courtesy. Ironically, tap water is served with Turkish coffee. If tap water is generally unavailable, the bare minimum would be to offer filtered water with other orders. My second visit, during Ramadan, was even more appalling. A sign on the door declared a 30-minute table limit – an absurd concept in itself. To add insult to injury, staff actually approached our table and asked us to leave. This was not only inappropriate and disrespectful but utterly humiliating. Such behavior is completely unacceptable. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment. They do not deserve your patronage. London boasts many other places that genuinely embody Turkish hospitality.

The atmosphere is lively and creating a great vibe. The baklava and Kunafe served with ice cream were absolutely divine. Equally delightful were the San Sebastián cheesecake and milk cake. The desserts truly made the dining experience memorable.

Very friendly staff no matter how busy it can get in there especially over the weekend. Love the outdoor seating with heaters, can also smoke outdoors unlike some other places. Kunefe is freshly made right in front of your eyes which also gives you the ease as you know how it is prepared. Always fresh and tasty. The sansebastian cake with chocolate sauce is also one of my fave! Highly recommend. Special thanks to the manager cenk who always seems to find seating for us :)

Antep Baklava is an absolute gem! The service was amazing, with Cenk being incredibly helpful and Yaren showing extra care to ensure we had a great experience. The desserts were out of this world, especially the San Sebastian cheesecake—it was rich, creamy, and simply perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone with a sweet tooth looking for top-notch treats and fantastic service!

This Turkish dessert shop is a gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly made treats transport you straight to Turkey. The baklava is perfection—flaky, rich, and oozing with flavor, and the kunafa is a masterpiece of textures and taste. Every bite is a celebration of authentic Turkish flavors! The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the service is impeccable. Whether you’re a dessert lover or trying Turkish sweets for the first time, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back for more!

They have built a nice and big place. The employees are giving good service. But the quality and taste of the food needs to be improved a little more.
