"Giovanni Di Palma just opened another outpost of his popular Atlanta pizzeria Antico. This location of Antico features a smaller menu of the Neapolitan-style pizzas found at the original Home Park location in Atlanta, along with a tight list of the restaurant’s calzones and Italian sandwiches. The Tucker restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and includes seating inside and on the patio, with people ordering their food at the counter." - Beth McKibben

Antico is one of my favorite places to go get pizza. The dough, the sauce, and cheese just taste much fresher than other places. I love how fast the pizza gets cooked. You know it's good if it elicits a "Yummy" or "Oh my God, this is delicious!" My recommendations are: 1. The Bianca. 2. The Lasagna. 3. Margherita D.O.P Make sure you get some fresh garlic, chili oil, and parmesan from the condiment bar. Mix that up and dip your pizza! So good. In terms of customer service, I always get fast and friendly service. I never had to wait. The atmosphere is nice. It's light, airy, and spacious. There's plenty of light coming through the windows. There's plenty of parking space.

My boyfriend and I tried The Antico Pizza Tucker for the first time, and we’d highly recommend it! We split the Margharita for $21 and added pepperoni for $4—it was delicious and plenty for both of us. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was super fresh, and the food came out so fast! I also had a Mexican lager, which was fantastic. The only downside? They don’t have ranch, which hurt my Midwestern soul a little, but honestly, the pizza was so good, it didn’t even need it.

Google
Happy 2025 to the team at Anticos in Tucker!!! I popped in on New Year’s Eve and they were BUSY!! Nearly packed between dine in and pick up customers. It was my 1st time ever ordering for myself, but I’ve often picked up 3rd party delivery service orders from this location. The team was working sooooo hard and diligently!!! They were moving fast and people had no problem patiently waiting for what ended up being one of the best pizzas I ever had! It was the perfect way to close out the year. Thank you for your amazing work and the even more amazing pizza!!! You have a regular in me!!!

Google
This pizza was absolutely delicious! Great serving size. Amazing customer service and best of all fresh ingredients. They gained a returning customer for sure!

Google
This place smells heavenly! The aroma of the pizzas alone will draw you in and the taste will keep you coming back for more. We shared two pizzas with friends. There were 6 of us and we all loved it. Thin crust pizza is just fabulous. We did not eat at the location by GT.

I really enjoyed my Sophia pizza both while it was hot and then when it was cold for leftovers the next day. I’d order it again in a heartbeat!

Google
On a pizza tour of Atlanta metro area and had to stop here since it gets such high recommendations. Definitely good pizza, although by far the most expensive pizza on the tour. Good cheese, good sauce and good crust but was pretty floppy, not much crisp. Didn't quite make the top 3 of pizza, but this was still very good pizza and we will return for more. Re-heated very well, better than most!

Google
Antico was an interesting pizza place. The people were super awesome and friendly, so that made this experience go better than it would otherwise. As we were standing at the register, looking at the menu, the very nice cashier asked if it was our first visit. It was, so he offered help with explaining some of the ingredients. That was very helpful! Unfortunately, it's not a restaurant that offers ANY additions, deletions, or changes to the pre-defined pizzas.. even in the case of allergies. So, I wasn't able to order a certain pizza without the roma tomato slices. I was told no changes are allowed. There's also no size choices for the pizzas. They're 16 inches. So, good for 2ish people. The ingredients seem to be top quality, but it came across more like a reheated pizza than a fresh baked brand new pizza! Me and my adult child and I agreed that the Tiramisu we ordered was the best thing about the meal. They also got a side of meatballs that they liked a lot. My child says if they go back, they'll stick with meatballs and dessert. The pizza was okay, but the crust was kind of tough and chewy. Everything is apparently prepared ahead of time. Therefore, there's no modifications, and it's not stellar pizza. We both agreed we wouldn't refuse to go there if someone invited us and wanted to go to Antico Pizza, but neither would we seek to go there on our own. We also agreed it's an average-ish restaurant. It's kind of interesting that they're a pizza place, but the other offerings on the menu rank higher than the pizza! We were hoping to discover a great pizza place nearby.. the search will continue.

Yelp
I am an addict. Getting pizza from Antico at least once a week. Mark my words, for me absolutely the best pizza in Atlanta. If you have not tried it you need to. Great service and nice atmosphere.

Imani S.

Yelp
This pizza was absolutely delicious! Great serving size. Amazing customer service and best of all fresh ingredients. They gained a returning customer for sure!

Yelp
Pleasant employees and clean facility. Decided on the San Gennard pizza for takeout. I would give this 3 1/2 stars. Pizza was good overall and huge in size. However, toppings were a bit sparse... I didn't even have onions on most of the slices. Also, I took off a star because the menu is limited. This is not a "create your own" pizza spot, you can't add or delete toppings. Other than just a general pepperoni pizza, you can't even add an additional topping to a pepperoni pizza. Otherwise, decent pizza if you're in the area.

Fletcher W.

Yelp
Solid pizza and a high quality restaurant option in Tucker. The prices are on the higher end but it's always a quality pizza. They did disappoint me once but it had nothing to do with the pizza. 2 years ago the ATL Braves were in the playoffs and they had the game on the TV. With 20 minutes before closing one of the employees turned the TV off. I'm guessing they did this to nudge customers into leaving due to closing time. While I understand the motive it cheapened the experience and I was aggravated because several of us patrons were watching the game. It didn't evoke that neighborly watering hole spirit which disappointed me. Since then I only get takeout. That said, the pizza is good but I was little disappointed with the atmosphere the last time I sat and ate on location albeit 2 years ago.

Yelp
If you love thin sliced pizza, this is the spot. Great for family, date, lunch, networking spot. Located in new plaza in the smoke rise area. Pizza, calzones, salad, dessert, alcohol, juice. The best part is the addition self serve. Fresh garlic, pepper, oil the spicy oil was amazing. Very pleasant staff.

Millie C.

Yelp
Wish I took note of which pizzas we ordered but honestly, all were amazing! The margherita was definitely my favorite! Simple but packed with flavor. I also love the toppings bar because the dried chilis and garlic+ olive oil was good. All the pizzas were flavorful and delicious. The pizza also came out pretty quick!

Simone H.

Yelp
This pizza is horrible. I am not sure what I was expecting but it's tasteless, big, and thin for no reason. The texture is weird too. It was giving Your Pie but not really, your pie is good. It seemed dirty in there as well. They only serve large full size pizzas. You cannot buy a slice. I like this complex, lots of businesses around I remember when it was in development, and I took this day to try it, it was a $23 fail. I wouldn't recommend. Countless pizza places that are cheaper and taste better.

Lili J.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place out because of all the good reviews, but honestly, I was disappointed. The pizzas are a little pricey but are huge and match the price. They have a kind of small menu, and it isn't super customizable, but if you like simple choices, it is a good choice. I chose a Margherita pizza, which is a classic flavor, and I was really disappointed with how it turned out. It wasn't at all how I expected a Margherita pizza to be. It was more of a cheese pizza with basil on top and wasn't sauced enough to be a margherita. It was also super greasy and had a ton of oil. The person I was sharing it with was okay with it but just didn't meet my expectations. My table also had the Diavola, and liked that one; it definitely had some spice to it. The service was fine, and the pizza came out relatively quickly. I probably won't come back; with so few choices, I feel like each one needs to be really good, and I wasn't impressed enough to come back.

Jerod R.

Yelp
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to experience the pizza. I took my business elsewhere! The worst customer service ever! The cashier was extremely rude. He was extremely short and impatient with me being a first time customer. He Didn't seem to want to be at work and/or didn't have the personality to be interacting with customers. After reviewing the many complaints on yelp about the a rude cashier I can't help but wonder if it is the same cashier. However Jake is the cashier/manager I had the unpleasant experience with. I guess they should name the place "Jake's pizza" after he made the comment and I quote "My pizza's only come with one meat no substitutions.

Alysia P.

Yelp
The service here was absolutely horrible. this was my first time coming, which there was no greeting or hey how ya doing. I asked the front cashier questions about the menu and immediately sensed an attitude/rudeness in the way the cashier communicated. I asked about substitutes or additional toppings and was told "my pizzas only have one meat on them here", the vibes given was as if he did not want our business. So to the male caucasian guy with the sweet water hat on, no one needs or wants a business if you don't have decent customer service. The crazy thing about it was I left and took my business down the street to Jets Pizza- where the service was not only amazing, but the pizza is one of the best pizza places I've been in Atlanta.

Yelp
Everyone raves about the pizza. I mean, it's the fabled Antico establishment, serving pizza with ingredients that were imported directly from Italy and stacked in the store-room by Papal adherents dressed in crimson robes. Or maybe at least, some dude named Sean. The place is packed. Tables are hard to come by. And the accoutrements are tucked away not far from the counter behind the crowded tables. And people look at you funny when you scan the room looking for a vacancy. Like they're the Cathartidae enjoying their meal wondering just where you (the Gypaetinae) came from and if you're going to chase them away. The pizza is good. Maybe the charm of all things Antico have worn off for me. But I wasn't as floored as I was by the original Antico experience. Something was different--I don't know what. I deferred to my wife, as this was her first-time Antico: Me: What do you think? Her: It's good. Me: You like it? Her: Yeah. Me: Good enough for a return visit? Her: Yes, I think so. It's different enough from the "standard" pizza we get at...

Jamila B.

Yelp
Have you ever been so hungry that you forget to snap a picture like you originally had planned? I'm guilty! I ordered a pizza online and headed out to pick it up. It was ready when I arrived and the employee who helped me greeted me immediately my arrival and handed me the huge pizza box. I took it home and started eating right away. I was amazing! The pizza was fresh and smelled amazing. Each bite was even more delicious. Glad this location is closer to me because I used to drive to Alpharetta for this amazing pizza. I definitely will returns plan to eat there next time.

D'Jillisser K.

Yelp
Quality pizza made to perfection! Throughly enjoyed my first visit here! Staff was helpful in making my pizza selection. I had the San Genaro and it was so delicious . Also order a side salad, and tiramisu for a desert! Overall, a great establishment added in the community. I'd definitely recommend you give Antico a try!

Douglas T.

Yelp
The pizza is pretty good but the options are so limited it feels like ordering fast food. You can't customize anything so if you don't like their choices you won't like the pie.

Jordan W.

Yelp
Antico has been on my go-to list for years, but I never got around to visiting their west side location. So you can imagine my delight when discovering their second location when running errands in Tucker of all places. Jumping at the opportunity, we quickly ordered and took a seat on their no frills but cozy back patio. After a couple of cold draft peronis, we dug into their perfectly crispy white pie, with heaping dollops of ricotta, and topped with goodies like raw garlic and confit Calabrian chilis from their accoutrements bar. We paired that with a fresh and crunchy salad with the tangiest Italian vinaigrette. A perfect weekend lunch and a must visit the next time I'm OTP.

Sewon M.

Yelp
I love their pizza. It's the best in town. The service is also very quick. I highly recommend it to those who enjoy brick oven pizza!

Blair W.

Yelp
Classic Margarita Pizza Diavola Pizza Hemphill Location.. Lasagna Pizza Neapolitan Pizza San Genaro San Genaro San Genaro!!! Tiramisu looks good White Pie too

Dazziyah M.

Yelp
My friend and I came for dinner here. It was amazing! We ordered a margarita pizza which was 8 slices and it was more than enough for the both of us! The pizza was so fresh and had amazing flavors, the crust was soft, yet crunchy... just amazing. We also ordered the cheesecake and I got the strawberry one. I didn't love it, but it was pretty good! It tasted airy... not exactly cream cheese. We also got to bring our own "bottle" which I loved!! The topping bar was pretty cool to! They had garlic, oil, park, red pepper, etc. The cashier with the long brown hair was so friendly and nice! Made our experience awesome. The restaurant is not too loud. You can have casual Convos and they play good music. I was jamming to all the songs lol. Def will be back!

Pat M.

Yelp
We've been anxiously waiting for Antico Tucker to open! I ordered take out Capricciosa and it is delicious. If you are sensitive to garlic, you might want to tell them to hold the garlic. We love it. The online ordering process was easy. The space is open and airy. The staff is super friendly and eager to make your experience a great one. This restaurant is a great addition to Tucker!

Mark G.

Yelp
Yuck. Lasagna pissa. Yuck. Didn't taste fresh, smelled bad tasted like it smelled. Bad. House salad a joke. Yuck. Do yourself a favor and walk to the Publix, get a frozen red baron, tombstone whatever, save $20 and get more flavor. Yuck. That place won't make it another year

Doug J.

Yelp
Maybe I'm old... no my 35 year old daughter had the same opinion. Or Maybe I miss Everybody's in Decatur ( back when they had Pabst Dark draught and the high back booths and ALL fresh ingredients) Or Maybe I'm just too pedestrian in my pizza needs....Nah! The pizza is great, best thin crust EVER! Our issue was the fixed, and I mean inflexibly fixed, toppings: My daughter had her 3 yo with us and granddaughter loves pepperoni. Cool, one pepperoni pizza please. My daughter asked can we add mushrooms? Ans: No, it's one topping. Daughter stifles a WT_ "I can't add mushrooms for the upcharge"? "No. It's a one add on for $4 only pizza." paraphrased but the delivery of that info was deadpan, like a robot could have done it. So I guess I am saying I have no apology for our very polite incredulity. The pizza though was excellent, daughter & I never had better crust. the condiment bar was nice. I had water ( free, cooled with ice in the dispenser but no ice for cup available) I've been to THE Chicago & NY pizza places... it's not like I prefer pizza hut folks In summary, maybe we aren't fancy enough, not Neapolitan aficionados - I mean I don't care for Neapolitan Ice Cream either. I asked the daughter, will we come back? Yeah maybe, but can we do Mellow Mushroom NEXT time? My answer, No problem. Well the 3yr old Loved the pepperoni - she had a blast and the adjoing table thought she was adorable!!! Nice clean, modern atmosphere

Yelp
This spin-off from the main location in midtown is great! We went opening weekend and got a classic margarita pizza to go. Just like the pizza in midtown, it was delicious. Not too saucy or cheesy. The crust was crisp on the outside and softer towards the middle. Why not five stars you ask? Well, you don't get the same "vibe" that you get at the other location of sitting in the kitchen with a front row seat to the pizza making. Plus, my son is 11 and could have easily eaten a whole pie himself. I did tell him that if he brings his own $ next time, he can buy himself a whole pie. Our family of 4 would easily need 3 pizzas and that is just very affordable here. We will save it for special occasions.

Ivan Z.

Yelp
Very Good pizza, especially the margherita pizza, just wish it can be a little bit crispier

Ashley L.

Yelp
My favorite pizza. Must try the lasagna pizza! You can taste how fresh the ingredients are.

Robin R.

Yelp
We have had Antico twice now and really love this pizza and the friendly staff! Neapolitan style pizza cooked in a stone/fire oven is our favorite! The charred edges and bottom add a smoky element that makes it so rustic in the best way. We know lots of people complain about this, but they should go get pizza somewhere else - this is how this pizza is supposed to be! On our first visit we had a Rosso (red sauce) Lasagna pizza and this time we tried a Bianche (olive oil) Capricciosa. Both were delicious - fresh ingredients, flavorful cheese, and great tasting crust. I could go on forever about the crust but will spare everyone my soap-box talk. Let's just say they definitely don't forget about the crust like so many pizza restaurants do. The crust alone could be eaten like freshly baked bread would be. The house salad is a great value - $5 packed full of crisp fresh greens Parmesan cheese and a delicious lemon vinaigrette (it's the perfect size for lunch for me). We were a little disappointed by the amount of Italian ham and artichoke we got on the Capricciosa - only one piece of ham and one small chunk of artichoke per slice. Mushroom quantity and freshness was fantastic though.

Joe E.

Yelp
Pros: it is new, at the time of this review Cons: for a place that specializes in pizza with their wood fired oven the product is average at best however their prices are not. If you are going to charge a premium price for a product you better be able to justify that price. Sadly on this outing it did not. Additionally, it seems their ability to scale for a heavy rush just does not exist. The capacity of their oven seems to be about 4 -5 pizzas at a time so do the math at peak time and you have instant capacity issues. Because of this, they were quite late preparing our takeout order. The lasagna pizza was pretty dark coming out of the oven the margherita pizza was cared for better. Otherwise, the lasagna pizza was good (the dollops of ricotta on it were particularly good) but the meat on it was extremely salty. Bottom line: in the Tucker area, good pizza places are scarce, this one unfortunately does not alleviate this areas shortcoming at this point. I hope to revisit later this year and maybe then it will have improved.

Autumn M.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! We ordered the Margherita DOP, Bianco, and Diavola pizzas along with a large house salad. The pizzas are cooked this crust and well done with a perfect crunch to the crust. The large house salad was well portioned to share with about 4 people.

Laks P.

Yelp
The margarita pizza was fantastic and the seating was somewhat limited on workweek evening but overall great experience and I personally think it's nicer than the antico midtown location.

Cia B.

Yelp
Pizza: Now this is some GOOD pizza. Fresh, soft dough, crisp edges. But what really took it to the next level was the condiment bar with - fresh garlic, olive oil, amazing spicy oil, and then this magical pepper spread. We love spicy so we were able to take a normal pizza and make it extra spicy! Ambience: Big open space, lotta seating, open kitchen and big stove. And easy parking!!! Cost: Standard cost of $$22-$28 for a pizza, all of them are one size. For the two of us we got one pizza and it was perfect. Affordable night!

Shermika D.

Yelp
Oooh the pizza here was so good i didn't even get a pic! Great service and fantastic staff. They have cheese, pepper, and spicy oil you can take to go which is a nice touch. The pizza was excellent!!

Edward C.

Yelp
I've been to all the Anticos in Atlanta, and this is The Best location. The store is modern, and the pizza was made to perfection. Not burned or overdone. Gary the server was so nice and personable!! Highly recommend!

Alexis L.

Yelp
When you pay over $20 for a mid-size pie, there is a level of expectation that it will have an adequate amount of sauce and cheese. I have always enjoyed Antico pizza at the other flagship locations, but the Tucker location is disappointing. I ate a few slices due to my lunchtime hunger, but was not at all satisfied with my pie...the pictures speak for itself. This pizza is far too expensive not to have a consistent product. I reached out to the manager, and he said he made the pizza and it adhered to Antico's standards. He also mentioned that it depends on who's making the pizza but the pizza he made was standard. I can guarantee this location won't survive with an inconsistent product that skimps on toppings AND is already pricey.

Ginger B.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The service was great. I loved the little self serve condiment bar which had oil, cheeses, peppers to add to your pizza after cooking. We will definitely be back when in the area. Hint: their drink selection is great but if you want tap water, there is a self serve water by the condiment bar.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Legit best Neapolitan pizza in and around Atlanta. If you find better let us all know lol

Robert M.

Yelp
This is a comfortable spot to eat Antico-Pizza and a very welcome addition to the Tucker area. like all the Antico expansions, they alphabet been dialing in the doneness of the pizzas in the first few months, but it's still better at its worst than anything else around. what is especially nice about this one is it's a more complete restaurant for a group visit. the salad is quite good and a good bargain. the back patio is something of a hidden gem. I never see anyone else back there.

Elijah G.

Yelp
Terrible pizza for the cost the sauce taste like salad dressing has no really no taste really the pizza was Raw but burnt honestly you get a better pizza from tombstone pizza then over here. I'm starting to see in Tucker there's a lot of restaurants opening up and overcharging so please take caution this is another one of these restaurants that will end up like Colossus pizza or something like it won't be here for long

Kievonna D.

Yelp
The pizza was so good that I had to order another to-go. Ordered the Lasagna pizza, which paired pretty well with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself was very inviting, bright, and clean. I'll certainly be back to enjoy some if my favorites.

Walter D.

Yelp
This spot is in a great location in Tucker, Georgia , the building in and out are both appealing , as it has great large tables and high chairs for groups to gather and share a pizza. Cool that you get to watch the guys make the pizza as you wait .We ordered the Capricciosa pizza to go and it was well worth it!! The cheese was creamy, the meats and vegetables were flavorful with a overall filling but not heavy feeling. I'll be back !!! Lol Grade A+

Tina L.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try Antico Pizza but there was never a location near me. When I found out there was one opening up in Tucker, I was super excited. We visited on a Saturday night at 6pm and it was busy as expected, but their flow of service made the line go by quickly. The person who took our order, who I assume was the manager, was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the margherita d.o.p pizza with pepperoni and it tasted great! Dessert was also a nice addition. Will definitely be back for more.

Michael S.

Yelp
Great pizza, even greater customer service. I urge any one who loves food to try this place

Sarah M.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants in Georgia and I'm so glad to have one closer to home. That being said, I think they just use a little bit too much garlic on the pizza. When I order from the battery location there's garlic but not to the point where I'm tasting it for hours afterwards. Next time I will be sure to ask for light garlic. The staff is awesome and kind and if you like this more authentic type of pizza it is the perfect restaurant for you. It is a little more on the pricey side but I think the quality of the ingredients are the cause. It's some of the best crust I've had! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Michael H.

Yelp
I was so excited when I saw that Antico was going to open up a pizza joint in my neck of the woods. Used to travel down to midtown many times to partake in what I feel is one of the best pizzas in town. Alas, the pizza here is a sad imposter of the original. Both the sauce (which they're was very little of) and the crust were lacking in flavor in comparison to the original. The salads that were billed as romaine, radicchio, and arugula were actually only spring mix and very sad. Unfortunately I don't see myself making the trek here again as it's 15-20 minutes from the crib and there are better options with the same drive time.

Shai T.

Yelp
So excited for the new Tucker location and it's 10 mins away from our home!! Sooooo delicious and the kids gave it 2 thumbs up! This location has salad , meatballs , & desserts.

Crystal H.

Yelp
Great pizza. Nice patio for family/date night! Glad to have this hot new spot. Staff is very friendly

Kamilah B.

Yelp
We ordered UberEats, it was really good!!! On time, tasty. The only thing is I wish they had non pork meat options. Thanks for everything Antico!

Randy W.

Yelp
The pizza is awesome. And the experience in watching them make the pizza is great. Friendly Staff. Clean restaurant.

Tank J.

Yelp
Good local pizza spot and a great alternative to traditional carryout or delivery pizza. Seems to be an authentic style if you don't know much about that. However, they have a limited menu. Only one size for all pizzas. Limited toppings, as well. A bit pricey if you're trying to spend wisely. Pizza was made fresh and fast.

Sean K.

Yelp
Loved the original in Home Park. Still love the pizza, its probably my favorite. I think this location is still trying to figure some things out. It will. The pizza still tastes awesome! It unique. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. The cheese is amazing. The sausage pops! So juicy. The crust...it's good, but not like I remember it at the Home Park location...memories. Love dipping the crust in the spicy oil! If you like spicy food, this is the pizza for you....pizza heaven.

Queen W.

Yelp
Great pizza and a great size I thought it was going to be personal pizza sized but it's enough to share with two or three people. Tasty and fresh! My whole family loved it
