"On a busy street of the Lince neighborhood, a line of people wait to eat anticuchos (beef skewers) from Doña Pochita’s little street cart, which opens every day from 5 p.m. until midnight. Pochita has laid claim to this corner for more than 20 years. She grills beef heart marinated with panca chile, vinegar, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper, and serves the skewers with slices of potatoes and chile sauce. I read about this place online and wanted to check it out. Really good cheap food! The chicken breast skewer was really good and so was the beef heart skewer. The potatoes were well cooked. The Chicha morada was delicious! I ordered a chicken heart too - it was okay. I feel the veins needs to be cleaned out from the heart but it wasn't done. But truly recommend this place!

Great elevated street food of Peruvian anticuchos! I love the mixtos, patatas, choclos and aji the most. Recommended if you want sone variation of Peruvian dining experience that’s different from the Miraflores area.

Awesome and well reviewed Doña Pochitas Anticucheria, not sure how much action the food stall still gets but at our visit it was (small) restaurant service only. Choose your food from the overhead blackboard, pay and get your ticket, sit down and wait for your perfectly grilled beef hearts. Surprisingly tender, well seasoned and very enjoyable. Lovely little place to eat along local people.

Dona Ponchita is a Lima street food Legend. Anticuchos here are famous for a reason. We had anticuchos and chicken breast and both were fantastic AND affordable.

Not sure what to get so went with combo #1 👍 One of the employees was super helpful and went out of his way to help since it was obvious I was a tourist 😝 The food was slightly too salty for my tastes but delicious nonetheless. They also serve desserts so I had picarones as well, highly recommend. Sweet, doughy goodness.

Not exactly what i was expecting..🙄 When it comes to this type of cooking you gotta know your stuff. I ain't no expert but i had better. First of all. The establishment is nice and clean the cook was very professional. The flavor in the anticuchos was good but it didn't have the crusty smoky char flavor of cooking over charcoal .. like old school😫 I know times are changing but there are places out there that go old school all the way but good luck in finding one. I will keep coming until I find what I am looking for.

One of the best places to get Anticuchos in Lima. Their place is clean snd the price is right for the amount of food they serve. Another good thing is that they offer other types of meats like steak, chicken breast and pork chop. I would definetly would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a better option of fast food.

One of the best anticuchos in Lima. It is located in a busy area of Lince and surrounded by a a great food ambiance (fruits, desserts, chifas) We ordered the Anticuchos Mix platter (35 soles) that comes with beef heart and inners from the cow (gizzards, hearts and stomach). Simply delicious.
