Antidote Delivery

This place is not about atmosphere, although they do have a cute sitting area. I gave them 5 for atmosphere because I didn’t want them to get lower rating. We just love their sandwiches; always fresh meats but most widely known secret of theirs is….their bread! They make it a couple minutes before they prepare their sandwiches. Have to order at least once a month!

Bodega kinda feel here. Walk in through the front. get your bev, chips, pay and walk towards the back for the deli. I recommend you call or place a order for pick up because they're always busy. Its doesnt look busy but almost all the orders I see are for take out. Croissant club is the go to. Highly recommend. Easy parking in the back.

Who would have thought that this tiny store makes one of the best baguette sandwiches in all of San Fernando Valley? I've been coming here for many years. This store has a little bit of everything from food to liquor. They also deliver to trust me we ordered plenty of beer from them in the past. It's so convenient you avoid drinking and driving thanks to this place. The baguette is always so fresh and crunchy. My favorite sandwiches here are the pastrami and tuna. To be honest there are more I'm sure they are as good. The salads are great too always made with fresh ingredients. The staff here is awesome I've never had a bad experience.

Holy smokes! How have I lived across the street from this gem over a decade and never ordered a sandwich?! We ordered the avocado club (no Mayo) and the Italian cold cut with everything and oh ehm gee! I can’t even put in words how these sandwiches blew my mind =O!! Made me soooooo happy and even danced a little while eating it…cause why not?! My heart is so full and happy as I paired it with some jalapeño kettle chips from there and I legit teleported to heaven for the 15 minutes it took me eat half of the avocado club. Oh! These sandwiches are BIG so you can share or save it for later. Thank me later <3.

It would be hard to believe that a liquor store, corner store, and delicious sandwich deli could be combined into one. I called in and ordered the avocado club on a croissant and oh my God I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to eat some thing for the rest of the day so much in my life. The sandwiches were made to fill you up at lunchtime none of this microsize bite stuff everything is fresh everything taste delicious the crunch of the onions pickles and mayonnaise combine together creates a harmonious symphony of flavor that makes me wish I could gain 300 pounds eating this. During a difficult time it’s hard to believe that you could go to a liquor store to get fresh eggs bacon paper towels hand sanitizer and cigarettes LOL but in addition to this wonderful meal there are many other sandwich options which I made sure to take care of you I’m only just begun my journey here the best part? They deliver too

I got the turkey sandwich in French bread . When I tell you this sandwich is as FRESH AND GOODT it was amazing ! Please come here and try it ! You won’t go wrong !

I was referred to this place by my coworker. The guy at the register was nice. The sandwich was good but the service was awful. By it being my first time there, I did not know to order and pay at the store's register first. I stood at the sandwich counter and the lady just stared. I asked if I could order a sandwich and she rudely said, "go to the register". I ordered and paid and went back to her. She tossed my sandwich onto the counter and walked away. Didn't say thank you...poor customer service. I will NEVER visit that establishment again!

Good food and friendly service. Reasonable prices too. Order on the phone in advance in lieu of 3rd party food services and save.

Just stopped in before a work meeting to grab some lunch. The ambiance is an unassuming deli in a strip mall area. The man at the register takes your order and he and his wife makes your order. I had the egg salad baguette; the bread was so fresh. Crisp but soft inside, the egg salad was unsalted or lightly salted. Either way probably best for my heart. lol I sat out on the back patio and enjoyed my meal and even had the pleasure of making some small talk with the wife. All in all good food and very reasonable prices.

My wife and I ordered the Avocado Club Sandwich and the Pastrami and both were amazing! The bread is excellent, the meat is top notch, and they just know how to make an excellent sandwich! We were both very satisfied and definitely plan on going back. If you're in the San Fernando Valley and are looking for a great sandwich, I highly recommend.

I wrote a review 10 years ago and you would expect things to stay the same, right. Well if there has been any change it has been for the better. I just thought an update was in order.

This place is damn good. First timer to this establishment today and the ingredients taste fresh and is so delicious. I definitely recommend as I don't usually give food reviews.

I love this place, the sandwiches hit the spot every time. My husband likes the meatball and I love the turkey avocado, and 4 cheeses!! Mmmmm

Who knew this little mini market had the BEST SANDWICHES EVER!!! Seriously I never in a million years would have ordered food from a convenience store but a good friend recommended it and we were floored!! Great service!! Everyone is so nice!! Not much ambience as it is a Market but who cares?!! There's something about the corner of White Oak and Vanowen. It has 3 of my favorite places for food there. This place, Golden City, and Salsa and Beer.

I love this place. I like supporting small businesses around my neighborhood. The bagels are delicious, my favorite is the egg, cheese, and pastrami on plain bagel. The staff are very friendly. However, I wish the prep area is a little cleaner. The condiment bottles need to be cleaned or replaced. It just makes me think if there's bacteria in the bottle. The microwave looks like it has not been cleaned in a long time. And the cutting boards look so dirty. Please clean up a little. Thank you.

This is my favorite sandwich place! Everything they make is so delicious and it's a good value for the price. My favorite is probably the pastrami sub with swiss on French bread but today I got the avocado club sandwich and it was very good as well. Turkey, avocado, iceberg lettuce, red onion, bacon, and tomato slices on a croissant with mustard and mayonnaise. All ingredients very fresh and I have enough left for tomorrow's lunch as well!

When I'm on this side of the Valley I love to pop in here and grab a sangwich. Talk about a hidden gem. Valleys best kept secret. Fantastic spot to grab a sangwich. What to go with: Italian cold cut sangwich bangin off the hinges. Egg salad sangwich bangin off the hinges hittin switches in the low-low. (My personal fave from here and prob one of the best egg salad sangwichs around) Pastrami Swiss is a great audible if you can't make up your mind. Turkey is decent. The French baguette they use is fucking awesome. Texture is prefectly crumbly with a great crunch and decently soft inside. Highly recommend trying this place and adding it to you rotation.

A very unassuming little market with delicious sandwiches. The cashier is a lovely woman. Been here at least 4 times in the last month. I don't know where they get their bread, but it makes the sandwiches. My favorite is the provincial. My family really enjoys the turkey, the meatball and the donkey.

What a mess. You'd think since they mailed me a flyer they must want my business. And it looks good so I call the number on the flyer and there is no answer. Well maybe the outgoing message will tell me what to do. There is no outgoing message. Check number and try again. Yep. This alleged business has a mailbox that is full and no outgoing message at the number on their flyer and the number on Yelp. Ok, so I'll go to their website. Lol, you can't do anything on it! It's literally a one page website with a drop down menu that doesn't work. So it's confusing. They do want our business or not? So we decided to just pay the extra money to grub hub and try them out. The sandwiches were good. Lots of filling and pretty solidly delicious flavor. But the bread was very very hard, as in kind of difficult to eat, kind of hard. What a shame to have gone through all this time and forty dollar lunch costs for an okay sandwich on hard baguette. Seems pretty cool that they are a full store though, including Italian desserts. Maybe we'll have better luck going in and seeing how they are in person.

Love this place. Great food. Better service. I have never been inside the market yet. I have used the delivery service on multiple occasions both to my residence and to other locations I was at and in need of a plethora and diverse list of items that ranged from sandwiches (fyi they're the bomb, get it on the French baguette), ice cream, water, drinks etc. From the pics of the store it looks nice enough inside. But the delivery is great and not too expensive either.

Z Tried 3 of their Pastrami w cheese. Could not find the cheese and took them back. Lady dug thru the sandwiches and pick up a piece saying this is cheese. Cashier refunded me. Then I went to Daglas.

Charging $7 for a bag if Lays is ridiculous. The sandwich was no better than jersey mikes.

A pretty solid sandwich showing from Antidote! Just was feeling like a sub with good meat and bread, and because of COVID I didn't want to go out, so eating in was definitely in my future. They were quick and they were delicious. Simple, but good. What I expected from the reviews, though with so many 5 star reviews I was skeptical of it's earned stardom, and I was happy to know I can still trust my fellow elites on a decent sandwich shop that's not $$$ or just slapped together like Subway. Enjoy.

Very fresh and delicious sandwich! Huge portion!! I called ahead and ordered for pickup, the sandwich was ready when I got there and everyone was super friendly during pickup! I'm about to check the menu and order again! Lol

Best sandwiches! If you're into the crusty roll sammich, this is your spot. Bread is baked in-house and is great. Their sandwiches are fully customizable and are always super fresh.

What a great surprise... The guys at T&T barbershop recommended it and they were right. It was just a turkey on swiss, but the bread was fresh on a baguette that fresh and crunchy. Definitely won't mind waiting at the Barber

One of if not the best sub sandwich in the valley. This place defines hidden gem. What separates Antidote from others is the quality of the meat, but more importantly the bread. Phenomenal is an understatement.

The one phonecall I look forward to dialing...Notoriously known to text. Mainly because it means I can have prepared foods/bevs/goods ready for me to pick up or for prompt delivery. It is my special life hack. On my way to the Hollywood Bowl? Out of something in the pantry? Alcohol to gift? Antidote seems to always have it all. You must call them though...they have more inventory than what populates on their website or apps. Although if you find what you need...I usually have questions. Feels good to support a small business too. They are always gracious and helpful.

Liquor store/ deli with a good variety of beer, liquor and wine and the sandwiches are really good. Definitely a little hidden gem. Turkey, bacon, avocado on French baguette add yellow peppers is my go to. Definitely worth trying if your in the area.

My sandwich today was very hard, bacon tasted old and my poor cookies were not cooked right. Very disappointed. I am not sure if my family would be ordering from here again.

Update: it's been many years been ordering from them and they always have good sandwiches and service. I recently ordered from them when we were at work... and I was glad they waited for me to go pick up food from outside building... my coworkers love the sandwiches too!!! Definitely recommend this place! Our favorite (classic tuna, chicken parm, or tuna melt) delish!!!!! Thank you!!!!!! Love love love ordering from them. They are my go to for late night dinner for work. Been ordering from them and they never fail to deliver great delicious food and service. Last night, ordered some sandwiches for my coworkers birthday, they sent some treats included. Thank you very much antidote! I love their chicken parmigiana and the tuna sandwich. Good sandwiches and quick service to get them ordered and made in 10 to 15 mins. Grubhub mentions 45 mins for takeout which is not correct is picking your food up so just be aware if you don't want your food sitting around forever. First time ordering but will definitely be back again!

Hidden Gem is right! I'd heard about these sandwiches from Antidote for years but always hesitated ordering because quite honestly it's a deli inside a liquor store in Reseda and it doesn't exactly look like the kinda place where you are going to get great food. Well, I am happy to be proven wrong, the sandwiches were delicious. I ordered a Meatball Sandwich and the bread was perfect, the marinara sauce had a lot of flavor add the added touch of peperoncini's made it perfect! The wife had a Pastrami and was also very pleased saying "Now this is how you make a Pastrami Sandwich!"

Was here the first time. Very filthy place! Where I come from places less filthy would be shut down by the health department due to lack of hygiene conditions. I was dining in, but on my request for a cup of water I was told "sorry, we do not serve water," Needless to mention that I'll not go there again.

They've been with me a long time. I luv their service and their subs. There was recently a misunderstanding which wasn't my fault. I tried to reconcile and am unsure of mgr reply. He's been such a nice guy before so I'm not sure of reply. Update- just spoke to his employee who put me in tears. I'm an SSDI recipient and can't get out much. Mgr blamed me for himself and his employee. But she said even tho I've been a loyal, good tip customer for the better part of 10 yrs, that he has alot bigger customer ( group) for more than 10 yrs and that I don't matter, and that mgr should be left to recover for a day at least. I'm the victim. She said he doesn't need a reason. I didn't do anything wrong, it's him. I'm not calling back. He should call me back as he is to blame along with his bad choice in some employee. I'm SSDI and can't get out much, but he blames me for himself, and his gal said he's the victim and don't need a reason. Poor poor poor me, and never them

I picked up sandwiches recently and noticed that the sandwich maker was not wearing protective gloves. I thought they were required when handling food-especially after Covid!!!

ONE OF THE BEST SUB SANDWICHES IN TOWN! It's a liquor store that makes sub sandwiches and they are terrific! Kind of reminds me of the liquor stores / deli shops in New York. They have a big selection and make it to your specifications. Always fresh and really good. Love the bread! Keep it up guys! This place is one of my favorites...

We decided to "venture out" and order through Yelp Eat24 for the first time, and chose Antidote as the place we would take our maiden voyage with. We do not have ONE regret about ordering from here. Once the order was placed, we received a phone call from an employee of Antidote to verify the notes on the order. She was super friendly, and very accommodating! Once our meals arrived, we were very happy with our order. My husband ordered the Monster sandwich, and he didn't have one complaint AT ALL. I ordered a Cobb Salad, and it was extremely fresh and tasty! We will definitely be ordering from them again when we are in the mood for sandwiches and salads! Overall, our experience with Antidote AND Yelp Eats24 was fantastic!

I haven't lived in LA for b5 years and I still dream about their BLTs with Turkey. No, not a turkey sandwich with bacon. There's just something magical about their sandwiches, but I could live on these and never get tired of them. Art is super sweet and I hope he's still there. Watch out for the coins glued to the floor in front of the register!

They lag on delivery, they charge more than thenregular menu prices when ordered delivery, the food quality is too good to have such bad service. Convenient yes but inconvenient for sure. I try helping them by calling my order in so the third part apps dont take 30%+ of there profit yet they charge like 5$ more for nothing.

We order sandwiches from her a lot and WOW. hidden gem. Their baguettes are so good and I always get the Provencal with Chicken and it's my favorite sandwich in aaaaaaall of LA truly! They have a huge selection and are very accommodating. Also recommend their Italian frozen cakes/profiteroles! The brand they carry is delicious and is an easy addition to any gathering!

Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a great sandwich. My wife's sandwiches and says she'll definitely want to order from here again. Delivery was more then on time glad my wife had her food before her lunch.
