I stopped in because I spotted a $12 special for a half of a rotisserie chicken smothered in mole sauce that came with rice and a soda. Excellent deal, and meal. Will definitely be coming back. Atmosphere was cozy and staff were very welcoming.

I stopped by a random restaurant doing a random review. This place was clean, and beautiful. The food is great and fresh. I ordered 2 chicken postseason. They even had fresh avocado 🥑 for guacamole. I looked it.

I see this team start early and finish late. They work nonstop and both the food and the service are great. Everything is fresh, they have never made a mistake in my order (in years!) and the place is spotless! Thank you guys for taking care of all my cravings while I was pregnant and beyond! In a time when we, Latinos, are considered “less” you show how it’s done!

I’ve been coming here for years, it is one of my favorite places to eat and drink near Prospect Park. Hector is the best server, he always makes us feel at home. Excellent service, kind, and respectful. Special shout out to Alex as well! These are some of the nicest people, always feel welcomed! We are regulars because of the great service and food.

Just great! Delicious, freshly made food. Attentive staff were pleasant and efficient. Great stop on the way to Prospect Park! Glad we found it.

Decent food and good service. The guac could have been a little spicy I fell but not complaining as it was tasty. The cactus tacos were amazing.

We had the guac and chips, the mushroom quesadilla, and the chicken tacos. Everything was really tasty and filling. Service was quick and nice. Beautiful decorations.

My family's regular post-park stop! Antojitos is in the perfect location for those of us that frequent Prospect Park. The indoor just expanded with more seating, and the outdoor seating is covered and heated away from the bustle of Lincoln Road. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. My personal favorites from the menu are the tostada and the guacamole. The calabasitas vegetables mix is amazing whether it's on the tostada, or in the tacos. Their online ordering system is easy, and food is always done quickly.

I was in the area for the Juneteenth FWF event and Antojitos is right up the street from Prospect Park. Great and friendly service. The space is small so I wouldn't come with a group bigger than 4 ppl. We split the birria tacos, Al pastor empanada, and frozen margarita. - The tacos: the meat was tender and seasoned well but the portion was pretty small for $17. The consome was flavorless and definitely not worth the hassle of trying to avoid staining your shirt. I would say goodbye to my favorite shirt in the name of a good consome. - The empanada: good flavor and a decent size but nothing really too special about it. - Frozen margarita: I don't really drink so it was more than enough for me. It stayed frozen for a long time, even while outside. Decent for the $10.

OMG!!!! STOPPPPPP!! Don't pass go!! FUH realz!! You want AUNTHENTIC, dang good tasting tamales, go NOWHERE BUT HERE!! Period! Been here twice, and both times have been very pleased with their quality of food! My abuelita would be SO proud to call this restaurant "authentically Mexican!" The beans were very fresh and delish as we Service is great, fast and very attentive! Love the simple ambiance of this location which is very clean and well maintained! Making this a staple of ours for TRUE authentic, unadulterated Mexican food! ¡Viva Mexico!

Stopped by here after a skate at the park. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Which sometimes is the perfect sign of great food. Partner and I split tacos, guac, and the pozole. My girlfriend is Mexican and did not think the pozole was 5 star. But I am not, and I thought it was amazing. Now, what we did agree on were the tacos and guac. Often times with tacos, all the accompanying flavors like onions, cilantro, salsa are what make the taco. At Antojitos, the meat also brings a TON to put these tacos over the top. Some of the best I have ever tasted. Be prepared for an intimate, simple dining experience, or for takeout. But be prepared for amazing food too.

To start, we ordered our two entrees and a side which was already slightly pricy. After the meal, it took a while to get the check in an empty restaurant, in which we had to bring up our food in order to get it (which at the time we didn't have a problem with). We received a 15 dollar service charge on a 47 dollar meal, and the portions were small as well. The restaurant itself was nothing grand and neither was the food so we were surprised as to why the service and food fees were ever so expensive. The man giving us our check refused to split the bill but allowed to pay half cash half card, meaning he could have of split it and saved us a lot of trouble as well as my friend, who wouldn't have had to pay extra then she would've had to pay. We were obviously being targeted for being high school students with no genuine reason as we were polite customers who had an intent on tipping before we got scammed of an extra 15 dollars and a trip to the ATM which also charged an extra fee of 3 dollars.. Overall we are very disappointed in our service and the small portion of food that we payed a good amount for, as well as the man giving us our bill taking advantage of us because we are young.

Delicious spot! Can always count on this place for solid tacos and chips and guac. I like all the tacos here and my friends loved the tostadas. They're always quick - the service is great here. Small little restaurant with a few seats inside and out. One of the only places with outdoor tent seating still. Definitely recommend Antojitos!

Stopped by here mid-afternoon on a Saturday to enjoy the shaded outdoor seating with a drink. Inside they have the counter where you place your order and will bring the food/drinks out to you. Decided on the Classic Margarita ($12) to go along with Chips & Salsa ($6.50). Fairly pricey overall for some basic stuff - yet was hoping the flavors make up for the cost. Margarita is served in a thick goblet with a salted room and large chunks of ice. Plenty of tequila and a super sweet/tangy syrup. Thankfully there were plenty of chips and salsa, not the freshest by any means, but you do get your money's worth. Lady behind the counter charged us for the wrong type of drink, which was eventually fixed. Maybe a better option for a full on meal.

I love Ix Restaurant, the Guatemalan restaurant owned by two sisters across the street from Antojitos, so I was more than excited to check out their new Mexican street food concept and their third restaurant on the block. True to the restaurant's name, their simple menu consists of small bites like tacos, tostadas, tamales, salads, and tortas. There's also dessert and beer, and I actually took the liberty of ordering a beer to go when to-go drinks were first allowed in New York earlier this year but this was my first time trying their food. $6 per taco for the fish and shrimp tacos I ordered is about standard in New York (though lucky Californians would balk at this price), but this is also often the price for a gourmet taco. The flavors were okay, but both shrimp and fish tacos were much too overcooked, making it feel like the sort of low quality tacos you might get from a truck. My friend liked their al pastor, tinga, and steak tacos, which were half the price of mine at $3, but agreed that other taco spots in the neighborhood offer in the way of flavor and value. I'm glad I tried it but I will stick with my tried and true spots.

I wanted to like this place, but when the waiter forgot my food order altogether (he forgot to scroll down on his iPad), there was no coming back from that. My friend got her shrimp tacos and patiently waited for my food to be ready and to our surprise, people who arrived AFTER the waiter's mistake got their food before me. The tacos weren't stellar. They didn't have frozen spiked lemonades either so drinks were on the rocks. Please look for another mexican spot in the neighborhood and skip this one.

Antojitos means snacks. Who doesn't like snacks? Antojitos is an offshoot of Ix and Taqueria across the street and is brand new. The menu spans tacos, tortas, tamales, quesadillas, cerviche, horchata, agua frescas, and cocktails. Everything is affordable and easy to mix and match to make a meal. Today I had a chicken tinga torta and an al pastor taco. Amigo had a mole tamale and a taco, but I forget what kind. Ingredients were fresh, service was fast, and everything was tasty. In COVID times, there are four two tops next to the store and two four top tables under the tent in the parking spot. Ix and Taqueria also have outdoor seating, but the line was shortest at Antojitos today (Tuesday at 1pm). They have contact free payment with a QR code. Staff all wore masks and the inside counter had plexiglass between front and back of house. Staff are kind. The bathroom is beautiful, but there are two tiny steps to get there.

I'm sorry some in the community didn't have as strong of an experience as I did. I live not terribly far away and hadn't really ducked inside here but have been to Ix. I was running some Sunday morning errands and going for a rather long walk. They served a breakfast torta that was out of this world. So the bread was toasted, the cheese was melted. It seemed like there was chorizo meat with mild peppers inside. There were also tomatoes. I inhaled the thing and will 110% be back for any snacks related to the park or if I need sandwiches for any beach or trips. Also, yes the toilet inside was as pretty as the photos. My apologies for not taking the best torta photo but I got excited. Give them a shot!

We were by the Brooklyn Botanical Garden earlier and found this nearby place which served tacos. I ordered a mushroom taco for $3.50 which I actually really loved. The mushroom bits were large and flavorful. I also got a fish special taco for around 6.50. My wife got the shrimp special taco and a pork taco. My son got the chicken quesadilla which he was just tepid on. I think it's because they made it in corn wrap. All in all, this place would receive 3 stars today. Nothing memorable to want to come back, but definitely give it a try and let me know what you think.

3.5 rounded up because this is a delivery review and I think they impacted my experience -- I was excited to try something new and I got the shredded chicken torta and after the 45 minute delivery, the bread was so soggy I couldn't eat the bottom, and barely managed the top. The chicken tinga inside was tasty, but I couldn't get a good idea of what the food would be if it were fresh. I'll just have to try in person! I also got the fish taco which was flavorful and very filling, while the al pastor taco was disappointing and a little dry. I would be excited to go back to this place to try a fresh torta and go stroll in the park

I wanted to come here because I knew it belonged to the same owners as Ix and El Patron, even though I've yet to try the food at those places. The chips and guac here are actually the best I've had. They are $10 which is probably overpriced but the guacamole does at least come in a size you would buy at the grocery store. I've only had the tacos, the majority are street sized tacos but they have two specialty tacos that are larger. I got the specialty Arabe taco which was definitely flavorful but was truly only pork inside of a tortilla. It was definitely good but sort of plain. I've also tried the nopal, al pastor and tinga. All were good but not necessarily exceptional. I also did have the tres leches cake, which is a dessert I love, but here you just pulled it out of the fridge and it was good but very liquidy and yet somehow slightly dry. It's a cute place and I like the idea so I'll definitely be back.

This taco spot fulfills its purpose: serve quick and simple Mexican dishes. Unfortunately, the neighborhood deserves better. There are limited vegetarian options, and those that exist are mediocre. Having lived nearby for 20 years, I have long hoped for an establishment that resembles my favorite taco joint: Miti Miti on 5th Ave. If Antojitos were to up their game, it would become a treasure. As of now, it is an average place. Luckily, some modifications can make this place a winner.

Had lunch here- good outdoor seating, and no wait!- before a walk in the park. My bf and I had a few different kinds of tacos and some tamales. The tacos were fine, but nothing spectacular. (The nopal was probably the one I liked best.) However, I would come back here just for the tamales. I LOVE tamales and feel like I can never find them anywhere. (Seriously, a couple of years ago I went to Mexico alone basically for the sole purpose of stuffing myself with tamales for several days straight.) Or sometimes places offer them, and it's just one kind, or they are weird and dry, etc. But the "Tamal El Patron Jarocho" here is to die for. It's a bit oversized and basically a meal in itself. And with sauce and cheese on top, it's kind of like the love-child of a tamale and an enchilada. SO good. The prices are super reasonable, too.

It is early days for Antojitos, a new joint by same owners of El Patron and Ix Cafe across the street, but things are already looking bright. Both the tostada and tamales were excellent and I look forward going back a bit later in the day when the al pastor is ready! If the rest of the menu is as good as what I've tried, then the prices are really solid for the quality and care you'll be getting. And for the undecided eater, they had some free samples of chocolate atole (delicious) and tamales to help persuade you.

Offspring of the two mexican restaurants across the street. Grab and go situation. Cute and bright decor. Menu is very straightforward. We came strictly for tacos. The hostess informed us the best was the steak tacos followed by the Al pastor (roasted pork). She was absolutely right. The steak was soft and well seasoned. I would give 3rd place to the Chorizo and lastly the Tinga (shredded chicken). It could use some more flavor and moisture. We also ordered a margarita which they went to go fetch from El patron across the street. For a quick lunch while you walk in the park, this place does the trick. Would totally revisit to try other items on the menu.

Stopped here this morning for breakfast. The hot drinks were good. They are rice based. We tried the roasted pork torta and beef tacos. The torta was really good. Meat was very moist and it was a rather large sandwich, that we split. The beef tacos were good. There's a salsa bar, very nice. They have about 6-8 tables, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Friendly staff. Close to the train station and I recommend it if you are in the area.

Street food that takes a jump. Handmade tortillas, tortas, tamales and tacos. Had a large fish taco, fried and not oily, loaded it up with radish line and a jalapeno & green tomatillo salsa. Sweetly spicy! Also had a green tamale. Added lime and a spicy chiltapen salsa. A great lunch. Salsa bar kills too.

Ordered out of here twice in one week. Their menu is super easy to navigate and intriguing enough to want to try every item. For my first order, I al pastor and steak tacos since they were highlighted as being the best. They were savory but a bit dry. What was delicious was the tinga torta! Spot on! Filled with messy chicken, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and avocado. The torta was why I chose to order again. On the delivery order, I ordered a nopale taco, veggie guarache, veggie tostada and guac and chips. They forgot the guacamole and chips, but were fast on delivering to us again. We appreciated it. However, when the food had arrived the first time it was cold and instead of nopales we just received mushrooms. The eater of the mushrooms said it was really good- but not what we ordered... I think I had a good try of this place and will be taking a break to explore other Mexican cuisine in the area. In short, the tortas and guac and chips are recommended. Check your order to make sure you get everything too!

Terrific little taco joint. Very authentic, reasonably priced tasty tacos. They make em fast. My only complaint; They won't give you a glass of water. Ya gotta buy it. (Which is, I think, a violation.) Otherwise best tacos in the neighborhood

Wanted to support the new restaurant in the neighborhood. Ordered a vegetarian Guareches with zucchini and cheese and it was awful. The food tasted like it came straight out of a can, nothing tasted fresh not even the lettuce and the liquid from the zucchini soaked the tortilla and made it so soggy, it was barely edible. I shall not be eating, ordering or recommending this place to anyone. Disappointed to be let down by the new restaurant.

This is my second time back & another great experience. The staff is very friendly, food quick & very delicious! If you like a bit of a kick their green salsa hits the spot. A little heat but not dying. I also indulged in a frozen raspberry spiked lemonade. Great way to beat the heat. Tons of outdoor seating & set up for social distancing with your safety in mind. If you want tasty & authentic Mexican food stop here!

Absolute must for tacos and drinks. The Vodka Raspberry Frozen Lemonade was amazing as well as their house special Tequilas. Shots of the Fig and Jalepeño tequilas are a must. I have yet to try the Chipotle house Tequila.

Simple, fast and delicious tacos. Our favorite order is the al pastor tacos and have become regulars already.

this place actually has outdoor seating on the sidewalk, about 4 or 5 two tops, probably due to the pandemic situation. it's a nice place to stop by after biking around central park on the east side near the Lincoln road/ocean avenue entrance. solid tacos, chicken quesadilla and chips and guac. the guac comes in an 8oz cup, so if you love guac, this is the place for you! the tacos al pastor were nice, double layer tortillas and the quesadilla was packed with meat and cheese. wash that down with an agua fresca and you have a nice weekend afternoon!

probably my favorite restaurant in brooklyn! this place has a super casual and fun vibe and very affordable prices. i love that you can order tacos individually to mix and match. i've had the milanesa torta as well as the tacos (mushroom, chorizo, and steak) and everything was mouthwatering!! the margaritas are also delicious and i love that there are so many flavors to choose from. also really excited this place has outdoor seating. i've ordered pick up too and my food has always been ready when i arrive. oh and the tres leches cake - 11/10.

Didn't expect it but, Antojitos Del Patron Mexican Snacks was definitely mind-blowing. This place is unbelievable. The menu is really excellent, so many excellent choices, I had to go with Quesadillas, and it was great. The team was very friendly and service is excellent. I will definitely crave Antojitos Del Patron Mexican Snacks.

Stopped by this cute spot after a walk in Prospect Park and so glad we did - great tamales and Al Pastor Taco, both of which can be hard to find in this part of Brooklyn. I had tacos al pastor (roasted pork with pineapple) and a Green Tamale which was juicy and a perfect amount of spice. My husband had an equally good tamal with Mole Tamale. We did not try any of the alcoholic drinks, but my husband enjoyed his arroz con leche atole I found the horchata to be too sweet. Next time I'll get the warm spiced cider. As we were there, we saw them building an outdoor dining booth with electric heaters, so we will definitely be coming back!

Julian is hands down the best and very persons le and his grandfather's special tequila is heart warming. I come here a lot and never disappointed.

Really delicious tacos (especially the al pastor). We loved the banana leaf tamale as well. Tamales verdes weren't my favorite, a little thick for my taste. Awesome guacamole (same as taqueria el patron across the street). Good breakfast deal - hot drink and torta for $11. Happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I am SO happy to have this in PLG. Ordered tamales verde and roja. Moist, delicious, lots of filling. Already anxious to try the pozole and other tamales. This will be a regular stop for me.

Absolutely delicious tamales. Located across from their flagship restaurant, Antojitos takes more of a fast casual approach to things. A great spot to grab something to eat then bring over to the park once things warm up. Can't wait to grab some of those breakfast tortas once Spring hits!

Had five different tacos - they all tasted exactly the same which was odd - but they were all good.

Came by for a late lunch in the afternoon. This was my third time dining in since I like to give new places in the neighborhood a fair shake before judging service or food holistically. Although my prior experiences were not as bad as today's, the food is never amazing anyway so I'm pretty much over it now. Cashier was friendly and kind, but clearly forgot to put my order in after I initially placed it. I patiently watched as four other patrons, who had ordered after me, received their food before mine. Eventually the cashier came over and asked me to "remind" him which taco I originally wanted. In the end, I waited 30 mins to be served a vegetable torta and fish taco that were barely hot. Would have appreciated if the cashier was just upfront, honest and apologetic about the mistake instead of pretending like he "wasn't sure" what I ordered at first.

We visited this place as it was walking distance from Prospect Park and first we were amazed by the price-- everything is basically $8 and coming from DC that's really unheard of. The server was really attentive and helped us plan our day while we waited for the food. Once we got the food we felt like we were robbing them.... two breakfast tortas, huevos rancheros and 2 spiked drinks all for ~$40. And the food was bomb!! We're definitely going back before we leave. Overall, great food and service.
