NYC’s Top Restaurants Serving Food of Puebla, Mexico - Eater NY

"It all began with a cauldron of bubbling carnitas in a Bronx grocery, made by painstaking cook Denisse Chavez, that spawned a small, well-publicized Mexican bistro in Prospect Heights and a taquería attached to Parklife, a Gowanus bar. The Prospect Heights spot is now kaput, but the Parklife concession, now known as Antojitos El Atoradero, soldiers onward. It’s presided over by Chavez’s son Johnny Rosas, who’s still turning out wonderful tacos on her trademark blue-corn tortillas, as well as flautas and nachos that substitute french fries for the usual tortilla chips." - Robert Sietsema

Great local spot for some good Mexican food. There is a great outdoor hangout space

Food terrible. Took 2 hours. Missing several ingredients. Called several times and nobody picked up. Attempted to contact them the next day to make it right, and they said they'd get back to me. Never did, hence my negative review.

The food took forever and when it came it was the wrong plate and not very good. The place is a nice place to hang out but don't expect a wonderful meal. The drinks are good.

Great outdoor space to hang around with your friends. The tacos are good. My favorite ones are the carne asada. I loved the flautas

The owner of the building was screaming at an employee using profanity made me very uncomfortable, the plain expensive taco was ok

Yelp
The food is super tasty. The hostess here was really helpful and suggested I get the nachos rather than tacos because I was pretty hungry. Great rec! She was super friendly and funny and that's why I'm writing this review actually, even more than the yummy fish nachos!

Yelp
Located inside of Parklife. Great after work spot with awesome tacos.
