Dive into Antojitos Marineros in Bushwick, a seafood haven where aguachiles and tacos rule the menu, all in a chill beachy vibe.
"This Bushwick restaurant comes from the people behind one of our favorite taquerias, Taqueria Al Pastor, but it’s strictly a seafood spot. The menu only has three tacos: fish, shrimp, and their outstanding taco enchilados, which are a cheesy mix of shrimp and hot sauce so good, they’ll make you want to come back once a week. But don’t eat them on their own—Antojito’s specialties are their aguachiles and ceviches. " - bryan kim, willa moore, neha talreja
"Tacos are probably already in your late night food rotation, but for aguachile, seafood tostadas, and crispy salmon nuggets, add Antojitos Marineros to your list of after-hours destinations. We'd recommend visiting this casual Bushwick mariscos spot anytime for some of city's best raw fish dishes, and the fact that it's open until 12am is just an added bonus. Get a cucumber margarita while you wait for your aguachile negro: twelve butterflied shrimp in a soy marinade that’s relentlessly sour, in a good way. Or, for something gentler, try the aguachile original in a milder lime juice. This is strictly a seafood spot—which you could probably tell from the giant octopus mural and fishing net over the bar—and the only taco options are shrimp, fish, or an outstanding taco enchilado featuring a cheesy mix of shrimp and hot sauce. If you still want some meat, you can always go across the street to their sister spot (and one of our favorite taquerias), Taqueria Al Pastor. photo credit: Neha Talreja" - Neha Talreja
