"Childhood friends Liz Fleming and Nancy Silverman opened Ants Pants Cafe inspired by their collective culinary experiences in the Philadelphia area as well as Sydney, Australia. The menu includes house favorites like the sweet chili pork roll sandwich, and nourishing breakfast entrees (here they call it “brekkie” a nod to its Aussie roots) like the vegetarian hash or the bacon, egg, and cheese stuffed french toast." - George Banks-Weston

"Ants Pants, an all-day Australian cafe that also has a location in Graduate Hospital, is one of the few places in the city where you can actually order vegemite. If that’s not a selling point, their Queen Village location also has a full breakfast menu, which has things like brie-stuffed french toast and Italian sausage-potato hash. They do lunch too, with mostly sandwiches and salads, but brunch is what you want to come here for." - Sydney McElwee

This place is fantastic! I've been here three times now and each time the food has been great! The Maple Bacon, The Stack and The Italian Sausage Hash have all been great! The capaccinos are made so well and they're more on the espresso side which is the way I like it. Great job guys! Can't wait to come back for a fourth fifth and sixth time!

This is a nice little cozy, quaint place that you can come and eat breakfast or lunch. The staff were very pleasant and approachable and the food is delicious. 2 biggest complaints of which one they can't really fix is that there's just not much space. So therefore, you feel like you're squeezed into your seat without much room. That's the thing they probably can't fix just because of the building there in. However, as from a visitor standpoint the biggest problem I had was that they didn't accept credit cards. Now I understand the fees and all that information. However, at least, in my eyes, they could be making even more money by not missing out on that clientele that pays with plastic. Otherwise, the rest of the experience was great and we would definitely stop here again if you're in the area.

I love the name of this place, that's what drew me in to visit a few months ago. The atmosphere is so cute and bright, and the service is nice. They do upcharge for milk that's not cow's milk, which is disappointing to be punished for but other the drinks are delicious and smooth

Great breakfast spot! I tried the brie stuffed french toast and the maple bacon sandwich. Both were delicious. Service was quick as expected for a Monday morning but I can imagine the small space filling up very quickly. Australian drink menu looked enticing for next time.

This cafe might be small but the food is incredible. Breakfast and lunch hours during the weekend aren't too busy, so you're guaranteed a seat. The maple bacon sandwich is highly recommended. Note: this is a cash-only business.

Service was good. The food was so-so. We both got sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches, my friends long roll was "spongy", but my croissant was great. The Grapefruit juice was freashly made to order (I actually watch the server juice the Grapefruits).

NOTE: accepts cash only! My husband and I went to Ants Pants at around 1pm on Sunday. We waited for 10 minutes before being seated and my husband had to go hunting for an ATM because they only accept cash. Once we got our seats, the experience was amazing. I ordered the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte and Brie Scramble, and my husband ordered the Italian Hash. The pumpkin spice latte was spicy, creamy, and delicious. Not super sugary as many of the pumpkin space lattes have become known for. The Brie Scramble was the highlight: the perfect balance of sweet, crunchy, salty goodness. I cannot recommend this enough. The italian hash is flavorful, but can get overly salty as you work through the dish. Overall, totally recommend as a top notch brunch location at a reasonable price!
