Anything Review - Prospect Lefferts Gardens - New York - The Infatuation

"You might stumble into this bar in Prospect Lefferts Gardens and encounter a ball pit. Or you might walk in during trivia or movie night, a DJ set, or an evening of speed-dating. In other words, this place—aptly named Anything—has everything. It also has outdoor seating, fun, elaborate cocktails, and good food. The sister bar of Names next door, this spot serves their full menu, so you can eat a Dirty Crab pizza while trying to recall every state that begins with the letter M on Trivia Wednesday. Anything looks small, but inside the wood-paneled space there’s bar seating, a few spots for groups, and a large area in the back where you can dance under a disco ball on the weekends. Check out their Instagram for events." - Willa Moore

Anytime I come to Brooklyn I have to visit Anything! This time we introduced our family and friends for pizza and they said it was the best they've had in NYC! The music playlist was vibing! I love the unique menu, especially the Chick Peas/Broccolini on Toast!!! And the Painkiller drink is my favorite! Definitely recommend!

Narraganset on tap? Fire. Shoddy burger? Goes crazy. Atmosphere/Interior design? I heart Elevated but cozy spaces. I love a hospitality approach that is somehow both accommodating but hands off, so this is my go to place for ahem anything Kinda The only neighborhood bar I’ve ever been to that gives a shit

first time at this place i walked in with my girlfriend. as we came in we stood at the entrance and were blankly started at the waiter; who gives guidance on where to sit. So we go through the semi packed space and find a seat. after a few minutes we realized we had to order from the bar itself. EVEN after about 15 minutes and trying to get the waiters attention we were still ignored. VERY frustrating to the point where the general VIBE of the place was enough for me to leave. the food definitely looks good but the service is where it starts at!

We came here looking for the sushi place that used to be here but this place was a pleasant surprise. It seems to have expanded to 455 and 453 Rogers and the place has a nice vibe. I had the chipped cheese calzone and it was delicious, especially the sauce that came with it. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back for drinks sometime.

Anytime I visit Anything I have an incredible experience! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out. The fun dancing always adds excitement to the evening. The food is always fantastic—definitely don’t skip out on the pizza. The cocktails are absolutely amazing! Each drink was delicious, thoughtfully crafted and enhanced the overall experience. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend Anything enough for anyone looking to enjoy great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

Some good drafts. That’s about it. Slow service. Bartenders were more interested in chatting with each other. Food was blah. Soggy fries. Mid chicken sandwich.

Absolutely love this little gem. It was highly recommended by some friends and so decided to check it out for myself. I found it to be a delight--relaxed, creative vibe with really great food and service. Love the bar, which has some unique cocktails. The pizza (could this be some of the best in NY?) and the recently added bakery really put it over the top. Highly recommend.

We loved the ramen at Names, saddened it disappeared for the change to Anything. But glad to see pressure from other fans has brought it back. Hope it finds a permanent home on the menu.

Yelp
Best bar in PLG, tasty affordable food, tiny but solid draft beer selection, nice outdoor aree with seating on patio and sidewalk. Everyone's nice and laid back!

Yelp
I go to the jazz jam on Tuesday sometimes. Rob performs an amazing set and leads a really nice jam session after. The staff is kind, and the all day Tuesday Happy Hour gives the good beer great prices. Would recommend!

Yelp
This place has been through three incarnations in the last four years, but keeps on trucking. It's now home to Wizard Hat pizza. For the record, the pizza is out of this world. It's thin and chewy and tangy from that sourdough, perfectly sauced and cheesed. The pepperoni and jalapeño is mouthwateringly delicious and you won't feel like a monster after eating three slices. They still have the Names vegan Caesar salad which is crazy tasty as well as their own Caesar which is equally well dressed and crisp. The vibe is ultra friendly and neighborhoody. Don't bring your impatient jerk energy and ruin it for the rest of us.
