This review is for the customer service of Elizabeth. When I ordered a drip coffee, she went out of her way to get me a fresh, newly brewed cup (I was not in a rush). It was refreshing. She is doing a great job.

Google
A pretty good place for grab and go. Lots of different options for a hungry traveler. Not cheap, but then again, what in an airport is cheap ? The seating is shared with the other places in the food court.

They wait till they’ve received 3 orders until they heat the sandwich’s up because they are lazy. So you’re waiting way more time for your sandwich to be ready. I ordered one grilled cheese and he didn’t heat it up until 10 minutes later so took 15 minutes total with no line of people to wait for. The other worker rolled her eyes when asked to heat the sandwich’s up and went to wash the dishes instead. The sandwich was bad anyway and costed me 12 dollars! For slices of white bread and three slabs of cheese. Would not recommend to anyone.

Google
Hilariously bad. Service does not make any sense, food is disconnected from drinks and register, so nobody knows who any of the food belongs to or what you ordered. BEC was prison grade. Pesto sandwich came out with no pesto on it. Coffee is literally hot milk, there was no espresso in it

Hey, you want some water? Here, let me show you how to use this tablet. You want a muffin? Sorry, go to the tablet again. Takes the humanity out of ordering. I feel like a curmudgeon but this ordering system is messed up.

Google
The woman working was so lackluster and obviously didnt care. Was taking her time with ever order when she had the ability to multitask. I was charged $15 for a Chicken Pesto, which to start with is ridiculous, and on top of that the chicken was still practically frozen.

Google
Surprisingly decent considering the scathing reviews and depressing alternatives in T7. One of the women working this morning offered to remove the cheese from my roasted (grilled?) mushroom sandwich and add other items by request. I was also impressed that she and her colleague were reading online reviews about the place. My sandwich was pretty good - again, by JFK standards - although overpriced.

Google
I got a sandwich from 7B deli. It was terrible. The sandwich looked really sorry and the chicken was super dry. Far worse than the burger my friend got from true burger I also got the $6 coleslaw. It was only two bites worth and tasted like toilet cleaner. Not great, would recommend a different shop.

Yelp
As we often do, Gayle and I arrived early at JFK Terminal 7 in preparation for our flight to Montreal (YUL) and onward to St. John's Newfoundland (YYT). Gayle found her Bloody Mary and a place to sit at the nearby Le Grand Comptoir, I looked for maybe a bagel/cream cheese that reflected NYC's finest. Not here and Apartment 7B Deli & Market seemed to be the one of the only choices within this rather cramped Terminal 7. I found what I was looking for, and it barely made the my already modest standards for airport food. It didn't help that the folks behind the counter acted like the were mailing it in.

Yelp
Decent breakfast, when options are very limited here in Terminal 7. Flatbread with bacon & egg served 2 of us easily. Excellent service by a cheerful waiter.

Yelp
Service was nice and friendly! Food was warm and fresh! I would come here over any other place In the JFK terminal!

Yelp
BAD BAD BAD! $22.00 for a pastrami Ruben. I got it and it was pastrami with spicy mustard (??). $12 for a grilled cheese. My wife and son had it. Cheers was not melted and cold. There was absolutely NO FLAVOR. Women that workers there barely spoke English and didn't understand the food items on the menu. Don't GO!! $92 for all listed food above plus a salad. BAD BAD BAD!!

Yelp
I don't have super high standards for airport or airplane food. But I have reasonable expectations for service. I expect that employees know how to make basic drinks, like a latte. This place does not train their employees well. The latte was very bitter and looked like it didn't have enough milk. Then, the sandwiches. I ordered two kinds of chicken sandwiches for my kids. One of them ate a bit then opened it up to move stuff around, and the chicken was very gray in one spot. It honestly looked like mold to me, but my eyesight isn't the best these days. I took it back to the counter to let them know. Both employees told me it was not mold, and said they'd make a new sandwich. I checked in with my kiddo who didn't want one. I went back to let them know, and they tried to talk me into it. Then they asked if I wanted anything else. Honestly, between the latte and this, the only thing I wanted was my money back. I didn't ask for it (nor was it offered) because I was too tired and on double kid duty. Ambience is food court like. I should've just gone to Dunkin' Donuts.

Stephen B.

Yelp
Go to dunkin. Less rude. Lol. Less expensive. They charged 7 for a bag of pretzels. They're just Gouging at this point.

Yelp
I recently went to the doctor for the first time in eight years, and my blood work said that while my cholesterol wasn't high yet, it was getting there. I'm telling you this because, like an idiot, I decided I shouldn't have a burger or a pizza for breakfast. In Terminal 7, that basically leaves you with this abomination. I've made the mistake of getting their sandwiches before (when they aren't out of everything, which seems to often be the case), so I rolled with a bagel with cream cheese and an apple this time. Because how could they screw that up? Well, they could screw it up by taking about 20 minutes to give me a bagel with cream cheese and an apple that I grabbed myself. Also, when you look in the bag, they just sliced the bagel and threw in a couple packets of Philadelphia cream cheese. What took you 20 minutes?! At least we're not in a place where people need to get in and out quickly because they have something to do. OH WAIT.

Connie S.

Yelp
Guy in front of me: "I'll have the cubano sandwich." Employee: "We don't have that." Me: "I'll have the egg white sandwich." Employee: "We don't have that." Me: "Okay, how about a cup of cof..." [sees the "out of order" sign, pictured below]

Corey N.

Yelp
As expect for an in airport service. Had basic drinks and to go breakfast items. Only one person working the food and another working the separate drink area. For drinks and breakfast sandwich area, one person is too slow if service when the line is Eve a little deep.

Yelp
Would give 0 stars if possible. Chaotic operation - employees walkout leaving customers hanging, outrageous prices , orders are given to wrong customers. Rather pay for Airline food .

Austin C.

Yelp
The food here is pretty mediocre bordering bad which is expected with most airport food. The people inside are pretty nice though. The food is ridiculously expensive even in terms of airport food. It cost 30 dollars for two pre-made sandwiches that didn't even taste good. If you're going to airport definitely get different food.

Gracie S.

Yelp
I am not one to post a review as I like to give the benefit of the doubt due to the fact that I have also worked food service industry jobs myself as well as the addition of technical and/or general issues arising that can be out of one's control. But this experience with Apartment 7B Deli & Market exceeds my respect limit due to their attitude as well as not being able to preform the one job they were taught how to do which is to make a coffee. The menu is very limited (no complaints as with most coffee menus in the New York area are) but when there is a limited menu, you expect good coffee, but that was unfortunately not the case. The two girls working the front were discombobulated and not paying attention as well as the girl on the cash register taking our order while she was still helping two other ladies at the register which is not okay because they were first in line. They also asked for our order multiple times after repeating ourselves and our very simple orders ( 1 latte with cream (medium), one cappuccino with cream (large)). When the order was read back to us, it was wrong every time. Then when the coffee was ready, it was lukewarm, sizes were wrong, and my latte was just lukewarm cream with a shot of milk. And just as an fyi, it is 6:30 in the morning and the only customers were my party of 2 and the party of 2 paying at the register so there should be no excuse for such confusion and carelessness put into making a simple drink. We were so done with the service and drinks that we did not want to deal with the front again and chose to just enjoy the caffeine that will fuel is for our flight and be on our way. I hate to leave a response like this but I do not want to see other paying customers receive such poor service and drinks especially for those ridiculous prices. I did not pay 6.50 for a cup of "warm" milk. Overall a very disappointing experience and like others have said in their reviews: Dunkin' Donuts would have been a way better option.

Kenny C.

Yelp
The only place open past 9:30 with alcohol on a weeknight. Shitty beers for $9 (plus tax) - your Budweisers, Miller Lites, Shock Tops, etc. Decent selection of snacks though. And all your typical premade sandwiches, etc.

Willow M.

Yelp
Expectations for airport restaurants is always low, but this place really surprised me how BAD it was. The guy taking the orders just stands there & doesn't say ANYTHING, just stands with his face resting on his hand, I walk up & say hello & ask for a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, I then step away to wait with the others waiting, right away a lady asks if I'm waiting for something, I say yes & she asks what, I tell her a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel & she just looks at me, then asks the guy taking orders if I paid or not, she had to ask him 2/3 times before he finally said I did, then she asked what I ordered i he told her I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, I told her I asked for a sandwich but he repeated that I ordered a bagel & cream cheese, I really didn't have time to argue for what I wanted so I said that's fine I'll just take that. My bagel was barely toasted & they just throw in a couple of those little sample size of cream cheese.

Peter S.

Yelp
10.99 for a bacon egg and cheese. The only thing of quality was the bagel, but the egg and bacon tasted cheaper than McDonald's. It wasn't fully heated through anyway, so all in all an insulting experience for how much it costs. If you can wait until your inflight meal, definitely do that.

Anthony G.

Yelp
I bought oatmeal for $5.99 It was gray water with a few lumps in it. I hope the lumps was the oatmeal

Eirini P.

Yelp
Regardless how low your expectations might be, this place can still exceed them; the most awful food in the slowest pace for the highest price. Did I mention their lack of courtesy? It requires a special skill to be the worst place in JFK - I will give them that.

Oliver H.

Yelp
The closest thing to robbery I have ever seen. Horrific. Only food option in terminal 7

Doug L.

Yelp
Just had the hardest & stalest Bagel I've ever eaten in my entire life ..and I'm a New York native. I would stay away from this place and choose one of the other restaurants including Dunkin Donuts on the other side of the terminal.

Warren B.

Yelp
Asked for a Reuben sandwich. What I got was two slices of bread with some very salty thin slices of beef, and a small amount of cheese of indeterminable kind. No sauerkraut. No Thousand Island dressing. Only the slices of beef were heated up, the sandwich was not grilled. It is actually false advertising to say that this was a Reuben. All of that at the price of $16+. Somehow managed to eat half the sandwich, but threw the other half away, it was so bad.

Kate V.

Yelp
i wish i could give 0 stars. this place had awful costumer service and the employees were not kind at all. they walked around and it took 10 minutes for just my friend and i to pay for two bagels. as well, the front cashier was fucking incredibly rude to my friend and treated her with little respect. it was rlly fucking unorganized and the workers were dropping everything everwhere. i do not recommend this place it's a shut hole and it should be removed. also fuck the worker with the glasses

Yoshikage K.

Yelp
I ordered a high-rise sandwich and it tasted reasonably well. However, charging 11 bucks for two pieces of toast is quite outrageous even by airport standard, aside from the minor benefit that I might have thrown up a bigger sandwich during the 30 minute flight turbulence.

Jakub S.

Yelp
The worst and at the same time the most overpriced so called "sandwich" i have ever eaten.

David G.

Yelp
Worst place, employees are very rude. I get that is pricey because is inside the airport. But i don't get how can the people working there is so rude. I ask for a cubano she answered limit yourself to ask for something we have. And im like how the f... will i know you don't have it.

Tom S.

Yelp
Another example of no competition creating a very bad deli. Sandwich was pre made days before. Soggy bread, wilted lettuce.

William S.

Yelp
Just avoid this place. The egg & cheese croissant was terrible. The croissant was either falling apart in grease or too hard to bite through. Not good on the stomach before a long flight.... fuck.

Linda C.

Yelp
Grabbed a sandwich here just before getting on a plane. Praying it doesn't turn out to be my last meal, because it was so awful. Order the Condo, which was a combo of what looked and tasted like limp, fake bacon, aong with a tiny strip of pressed, reconstituted chicken and what had to be Velveeta cheese. Wait, there's more... All nicely packaged between 2 slices of what was purported to be sourdough, but looked and tasted more like Wonder bread. A very sad and disappointing excuse for a sandwich. To add insult to injury, it cost $10.99. There outta be a law...
