Food was very delicious and flavorful. We ordered the chicken Adobo, the shrimp bicol, chicken wings, pork belly garlic fried rice and house fries. Excellent! Now, let's talk about service - wait time for our food was well over 1 hour. It is true what other reviewers said, this restaurant caters more to the Caucasian customers. They were more attentive to them and they got their food before ours. And we basically ordered the same food. The waitresses was okay. Portion size is a disappointment. All in all, okay restaurant if you're craving Filipino food.

Hello! This restaurant has been on my "need to go list" for awhile and I'm disappointed I didn't go sooner! I will start by saying thank you to the staff for the great service and very clean, chill environment! The restaurant itself is a smaller more intimate place that's very simple but beautiful. The menu itself seems very thought out and detailed. Each item had a good description and I got a general idea of what I would be getting. The drink menu was also very descriptive and inventive, I don't think I've had drinks that are this complex before in flavor variety. Now the food itself is some of the best I've had, truly the chefs know what they are doing and want to please the guest. Everything was cooked perfect and had such intense flavor that kept everyone at the table thinking about it way after dinner. I'd recommend anyone to this place as it feels very welcoming and can cater to most people. Most of the menu can be had as vegetarian which is an added benefit! I'd recommend getting the pork belly fried rice and the flan for dessert, absolutely incredible! Thank you again to everyone at Apoy and to anyone who read this review, have a wonderful day!

Great place with great food. Cubano was rich, buttery and simply amazing. Some of my knocks are that the Adobe is incredibly salty and even though I love my salt, it was too much. In addition, the fries were cold and stale. Not sure if the fries are supposed to be like that l, but they were more like potato chips than fires. There also seemed to be one main waiter serving the entire restaurant. A lady came to serve here and there but for the majority of the time there, it was a solo act. Dude was a champ and did the best he could. Expect to wait about 45 minutes for food and seating is limited. Looking forward to the next visit.

By far the best food I have had in Minneapolis! Heard about this place in March, and have been trying to get here every time I am in the area and it finally happened. This place did not disappoint. Andrew greeted us with a friendly warm smile, the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. It's a small little bistro where the staff are smiling and very helpful. I will be back! Great job Andrew!

This was our first visit. It was easy to find and park on the side street. Could smell the delicious flavors from outside. We were greeted and seated right away. We enjoyed checking out the colorful mural while waiting for our food, which only took maybe 15-20 minutes. Our party of 3 all tried different dishes and enjoyed them thoroughly! Nice flavors. I had the steak inihaw, which was 3 skewers of delicious beef and small green pieces on a bed of garlic fried rice. The charring was just right, and the rice was perfect. I think my only suggestion would be to have more vegetables with the dish to balance the beef. My husband and son had the Adobo chicken and the Inasal. Nothing was overly spicy, just very flavorful.

Mom and I went to try this place. The other 2 were disappointing. This was a bit better but still not quite there. The service was wonderful. Very helpful and attentive. We got our drinks and food quickly and at a good pace. The restaurant was cute and cozy. For appetizers, Mom ordered lechon kawali and I had the lumpia. Mom ate all of the lechon and loved it. The lumpia was good but was missing a bit more flavor. For dinner, Mom ordered the pork sinigang and I had longsilog. Mom said hers was too salty. The longaniza was really good and the garlic rice was good. Mom ordered halo halo and I got the leche flan. Mom loved the halo halo except the crushed ice was too hard and the should have used shaved ice. The flan was bland, needed more sweetness, and had an unpleasant bitter note. I make a much better leche flan. Mom and I are willing to come back to try other items.

This place is great. The vibe is so nice and relaxing. Easy to chill and talk for a long time with friends. The drinks are very interesting. If you're up to experimenting, I recommend their drink menu. The staff is friendly and down to earth. Really can't go wrong with this corner restaurant if you're looking for a fun time out

After being in the Philippines 🇵🇭 we had to try this place out. I liked the decor, kind of sparse, but nice. There is an outdoor seating area but it was too cold to eat outside. Hope to try the kamayan sometime, but not living close does cause a problem with getting here. The food was good not exactly the same as what we had in the Philippines, but that could be because of different area, not being able to get or Americans wouldn't accept. But it was still very good.
